Perhaps this has been asked before as I'm sure I'm not the only introverted, efficiency-oriented guy in this forum, but...I am willing to work on conditioning myself to approach women, and have been, and have made good progress, but I'm trying to find a way to work it into my schedule.
I keep very busy with various interests and time with my kids and can't stand dawdling. My spare time is very limited and I don't like to waste it. Productivity is among my highest values and it's the source of much of my success in life but can also be limiting when dealing with people.
I run my online business in 30 hours per week - two 3-hour blocks per day. One of which is in a coffee shop where cute girls come in, but I'm in "work mode" and don't switch gears quickly. I don't feel like stopping work for 30 minutes to chat with someone that I will have to catch up at home later during non-work hours. My sales appointments are all scheduled, and I do not take unscheduled calls.
I have found a very productive weight lifting routine that I knock out in 15 minutes, twice a week. But while others are lollygagging around talking for hours, I'm in and out like a ninja.
I guess you can see where I'm going with this. Slow down, you might say. Well, I do slow down...during scheduled activities (martial arts, yoga, reading, meditation, hiking, time with the kids, etc., although these activities do not provide a steady supply of new women to meet so it is not as simple as "just join some groups").
So obviously night game is a better suit for my preferences, because there are lots of women to choose from and meet in a fairly efficient manner. I would rather dedicate time to meeting women than try to switch gears during some other activity of mine. It takes a lot of emotional energy to do that and pickup is challenging enough as it is, so why not go with the flow.
(Of course I don't like clubs, or staying up late, but that's different story and I'm willing to do it once per week and learn to enjoy it)
But at the same time I don't like the idea of waste, generally, or letting opportunities pass me by like in day game.
Then again, if I can go out one or two nights per week, get in "the zone" for sarging, and meet all the women I want during that time, I would much rather get it all done at once. I'm not out during the day much anyway, because I don't commute to work and have people run my errands for me, and quite frankly I don't want to do those things.
So without asking me to radically overhaul my personality, I'd like to know your advice and what you do if you're in the same situation of not liking to "switch gears," and wanting to meet women as time-effectively as you can.
