For the last few years, my plan has been to improve myself to the point where I am sleeping with a variety of attractive women (ideally for several weeks or months and not one-night stands).
But while variety is nice, I have to admit my bottom line is wanting to have sex with a hot woman once per week, new person or not.
My game has taken forever to improve and I'm willing to work on it. But quite frankly I dislike most of the things it takes to consistently bang new women (bars, clubs, staying up late, spending time constantly approaching and reinventing the wheel).
From what I've read, I'm inclined to believe that my personality type (INTJ) is more of the "kind of guy you marry, not have a fling with" and chasing after new women all the time seems like a less efficient way to get what I want.
So maybe it makes sense to have a girlfriend. I'm willing to do what it takes to attract and maintain one. And I have been married before so I'm not afraid of commitment or averse to it. But I don't crave it either.
I'm just curious WHY people want girlfriends in the first place, besides consistent sex? What's your reason for one? How is it better than the variety of many women (which I would really like, frankly, at least for a time, because I did not take the opportunity to do so in my younger days).
Those who don't want a girlfriend, why not? What is so bad about having one as long as they don't end up nagging you and putting your nuts in their purse?
Maybe if I was getting with a lot of girls I wouldn't have to ask...I'd be in a position where I know. Who knows. Your thoughts?
