A Spiritual Sophie's Choice. Suffer willingly or don't exist. You're pretty grim. I have to admit my own experience leaves me as an outsider often and I find it hard to understand how people continue on with their programming. How little they think about why they do things. Funnily enough, who's to say constant self-reflection is correct? I mean plenty of smart people die from suicide, maybe it really is a case of Cassandra Complex. I know it's true for me, constantly seeing how all these thread…

nd even if they were molested earlier in life that's no excuse. Woah! Haven't seen you in awhile. Still trawling reddit I see. I'm very grateful for your work and hope it isn't causing too many problems from dissenters. It gets really hard as the anti-men attitude is as strong and as prevalent as ever. It's so blatant to me and I am continually baffled at how people continue to lie to themselves about reality. Which in all honesty may be a symptom of a bigger collapse style problem, but I digres…

This Link describes the process as: To gather data for the study, Wintemute and his colleagues used Google and Yahoo! news alerting services and the news archives of GunPolicy.org to track stories published between March 2008 and February 2009 that contained the phrase "stray bullet." He defined stray-bullet shootings as episodes involving a bullet that escaped an intended sociogeographic space and injured at least one person, either from the gunshot itself or a secondary mechanism, such as an i…

There you go, Study: https://journals.lww.com/jtrauma/Abstract/2012/07000/Epidemiology_and_clinical_aspects_of_stray_bullet.32.aspx Related Link: (study-ish) https://www.ucdmc.ucdavis.edu/publish/news/newsroom/6483 So glad I didn't go to Davis. "Citation needed" is a very... dismissive kind of request these days. Detractors of men's rights often say this even though their preferred method of rigorous scientific debate is , "google it". That's why you got the harsh criticism.

My mom sent me to college and went into debt so I didn't have to. Then paid it off! She would give her last cent so that I survived. I love my mother, she is strong, and has worked her ass off to make sure I had a good life, even at her own expense. I have my own issues with women in General, even with my mother, but despite that she is the strongest woman I know and deserves respect and admiration.

For the record, I am far more of a MGTOW than I would consider hijacking the leftist philosophies for our gain. As you have stated it simply won't work as no one cares about men. What I want is to recognize whatever we do it's our awareness that is our strength and that we support each other as brothers. The most important thing we can do is continue to fight for a society that doesn't inherently embrace hypo agency. I don't want traditionalism because it enslaves a man to protect women by defau…

I don't comment much, but this got me the most, "Critics also worry that all-boys schools promote a machismo culture and could alienate boys who are gay." What concerns me most us the lack of compassion for men/boys and the immediate assumption that when men get together, bad things happen. I think there is nothing more sexist than assuming that men are so bad by their nature that allowing them a place without the watchful eyes of women/society, that they might create some sort of "evil" subcult…

This particular poster ignores the actual issues when it comes to abortion by trying to conflate the availability of abortion with men's control, and vested interest in the practice. It is not as though that men care so little about life that they would reduce it to some sort of drive-thru, quick fix procedure. In fact quite the opposite. To borrow from Typhon Blue: The idea that men, like women, immediately self-identify and all work together in all ways to benefit men is absolutely false. Men …

I'll admit it there IS a paygap, but it is not due to discrimination, and it certainly can't be fixed by legislating against it. Many Feminists have pushed for Comparable Work. Personally, I think that comparable work is incredibly destructive as it forces us to value certain labor (read women's) higher than the market requires; this is tampering and I would argue is incredibly costly to the market to upkeep. This whole discussion about equal pay laws is often based in incorrect theory, and bad …

Find me the actual study, and I'll change my tone. Secondly, even if the study exists... it's unacceptable that these arguments are increasingly framed in the, "Women, good, men bad" dichotomy, and essentially the poster was saying, since men don't provide for that much, then support women who are scientifically better, leaving the lingering taste of hey those men are assholes for not contributing a poor and sexist argument. You don't think educating women is a good idea in countries that have otherwise kept them in the dark? Yes, I think educating women as a part of everyone is a good thing. I just think dragging men through the mud to do it, and with studies that don't exist is the wrong way to go about it.

I've never understood some women's absolute insistence that if a movement is about "equality" that it MUST be labelled as feminism. I could get into some theory about why I think that's the case but I'll attempt to stay more on topic. I certainly believe they are well meaning. I just think their "feverent" arguing of statistically/factually unproven ideals, is a symptom of their own brainwashing of one major point pushed forward by early mainstream feminists; that women have been "oppressed" as a class through all of history. That one major point, of course being absolutely false.

I agree there are certainly many situations where /SRS is less than forthright, and I will be the first to admit many of the SRS'ers have become so bitter and jaded that they are the personification of the very thing they were fighting against. Simply put, that's exactly the problem. When we argue against ideas its because we want to change peoples minds. Often, challenging peoples beliefs is in and of itself an intended attempt to make them feel bad so they ascribe to a different belief system. Even if that were't the case, it is no small feat to prove that someone "intended" something. Look at how slander and Libel suits go. The problem is when you start categorizing "benevolent" v. "malevolent". Who defines malevolent speech? Is it malevolent if it makes me "feel bad". e.g. I feel bad as a woman because a man told me its not fair that I get absolute control over my reproduction while he gets none. please censor him so I don't have to feel "attacked" and have my ideals challenged. OR... I feel bad as a clansman when people tell me I'm wrong to hate another race.

There are plenty of costs associated with giving Out "free" preventative care. It's just that women as a group are no longer Solely footing the bill. I've never understood why people want to all of a sudden throw logic and reason out the window. It helped us to build the society. And now we ignore statistics and science to chose things for society base on feelings rather than what gets shit done, and keeps society alive. I just wanted to say being a recipient of counseling you are right in a sense. Many men don't have the skills to self-actualize enough to realize they are sabotaging themselves by repeating "bad patterns". And I will concede that point to you to a fault. Which is silly because nobody can be "empowered". You can't just give someone strength and agency, that is something that comes from within after struggles, trials, and tribulations. The goal is to give everyone an "equal shot at life", past that their individual motivations are up to themselves as well as the consequences. I disagree, Male drivers shouldn't be Blanket charged for as a gender being more prone to accidents. They should start the rates the same for EVERYONE and then look at each individuals record over time to decide how much to charge. Define absolute proof, Because theoretically, if you want to get epistemological, "absolute proof" has not yet been proven with any certainty. The original theory describes knowledge of a thing to fit the criteria of being Justified, true, and a belief. Under this model we can prove that something is actually true or not and even that it is a belief that the person held. But theories of justification have varied far and wide with regard to the search for true Knowledge. Some claim that you can j…

The fact you had to "back that up" with, I'm not sexist or anything... is sad.

Yes, we should not have a trial if the evidence doesn't support it. Agreed. My point again is currently the system DOES go after guys even if the evidence doesn't support it, look at the vladik filler case. Where are this mans rights? She needs to be tared and feathered for her indiscretions. Just please agree with me, we want the same thing I just want you to acknowledge this problem.

All I am arguing is LEGALLY it is too easy to claim rape and use it as a weapon with no consequences for women short of a slap on the wrist, I want that taken away. If you don't think having the legal ability to ruin a mans life based on heresay is bad then I don't know how to help you.

You can get indignant all you want, but That doesn't mean you shouldn't argue your point in a fashion that is logically sound.

You're exacerbating the emotional side of this. Also, Slow clap for Sweeping generalizations and use of exaggatory words like "massive". With no physical proof what so ever. I should judge the world based on your opinion. edit: designgeek88 Touche on the ninja edit effectively making me look stupid, you definitely had the word "massive" in there.

Well, Kudos to that. The point of the post is to give some one an equivalence, and say oh your right its wrong to cut someone who can't even speak for themselves, so Circumcision should not be the default option.

This is exactly what my post is about, I'm asking if we had a wealth of knowledge that you so generously offered above, but the roles were reversed, it claimed that WOMEN if they had their clitoris clipped would reduce their rates of cancer and miscarriage, would you then be okay with "considering" the options and clipping girls when they were born without considering their opinions? I am amazed you have managed to listen but not "hear" anything I have said.

While I do believe that circumcision is genital mutilation, I do not believe that the two are comparable in their current practices. Cut the tip of your penis off and then give me a call. Umm.. Yeah.. you did... Suggesting that it isn't as bad is a way to shrug off the argument. As I said earlier "The amount of pain on feels has no bearing on the process being acceptable or not." Your side argument, which might very well be true. Has no relevance to the conversation.

You are conflating the physical and emotional aspects of the procedure. I'm not conflating anything. It's a simple case of ethical belief. If its not ethical to "mutilate a woman" even under the idea of it being "for the greater good", then why is it okay for a man? You have to apply ethical beliefs evenly across a spectrum. I said nothing about emotional aspects. I only stated factually and logically that it either is okay or it isn't. In fact, you are the one conflating physical aspects, in th…

I am circumcised it is cut off.... and your logic is flawed. You are using the classic, "Oh, but female mutilation is much worse argument." Stop playing the who has it worse game. They are both bad. Its a simple solution, you can't be circumcised until you make the decision yourself at a later age. NO one can make it for you. I don't understand why you have so much trouble just allowing men to have free choice like we have given you. "More damaging", holds no relevance to the idea that we should…

Faking it... or acting like a "big Baby"... It makes it so hard to actually act soft and vulnerable like we deserve when people yell at us for doing it.

I'm tired of Concern Trolling by people who want to exert their belief system on others by pretending to be a victims, misrepresentations of fact, and shaming tactics like this being used to fit constructive arguments in to some sort of pre-meditated structure that makes Feminists feel good. Here in America discourse no matter how "rude" it got was always encouraged. Our forefathers made sure of that. By telling people that there are "taboo" words, you only serve to prove your desire to control …

Yes, In one of our "nothing" fights, we made the mistake of being outside, as I had only tried to convince her to go back in and lay down. Voices were getting progressively louder, eventually she didn't like what I was saying and struck me in the face. She proceeded to grab me and I pulled the classic "arms crossed pushing her away from me maneuver". Neighbors, not sure who, called the cops they arrived as I had backed about 30 ft. away and was talking to her while trying to call a cab to get he…

Not surprised at her, think of the situation like this. The guy fucked my friend, (not dating just in an exclusive benefits situation) then, decided to text me and yell at me about banging my girl. I'm not crying looking for a boo hoo why are women like this, this is about the guy and his insane reaction to me while being the one in the wrong. He assumed I was an ass knew nothing about the situation and his own insecurities made him be a dick. Not to mention his hilarious lack of syntax and gram…

It's that comment right there where I lost any respect for you. I am no longer reading anything you post. No man can ever have a passionate opinion otherwise he's angry? Oh and if we do you hand us this MISSandric crap about giving him a hug like your his bloody mother? Like hes some 5 year ol…

I'm a guy in case that wasn't made clear. As far as everything else take it or leave it, I'm not here to say everyone should think and totally agree with me on everything. The best strategy in my mind is complete rationality, no emotion. In my experience especially with women, the second I show concern or emotion in an argument they have won. They are looking for my buttons to push. I just will continue to calmly state arguments. Thanks for the constructive criticisms and good luck to all of you…

If our goal is to win our rights, then venting And setting a good example by showing good examples seems like a good way to go. We all have to put up with a lot, I understand our need to vent and that's fine. If you want to be understood and have things change you have to offer good examples as well. As far as the emotional side of things goes if you look at my past posts I have dealt with my recent situation and I have been shocked to experience a "princess" first hand. I knew these issues exis…

I am not under the impression that we are against women. I just think that if we are fighting for equal rights we need to offer a viewpoint on not just the bad, but also point out where things are good and why. If we offer no good side, how are our opponents going to see what we want? As it stands this group is looked at as solely demonizing from the 2XC and feminist groups. But that is precisely incorrect, we want equality. Tl;dr .. Point out where the inequalities are, and offer good solutions…

Point taken. Not sure if that invalidates me asking how some of our female peers can know what being a good equal woman is if we don't offer them an example.

If the rules of engagement are not met it is rape. Seems kinda harsh but yeah. We also have to consider how intricate these rules are. I mean would someone really set the rule no cursing? But yeah if they did and wanted to then stop. And the guy continues it would be rape. Sorry bad grammar on phone, The short of it the second a woman objects and you continue it's rape.

Okay, I have to completely object to the first one... There is no Such thing as unisex clothing. Men are physically bigger than women. You do realize that that is a fact of nature right? If you buy a mens small and it doesn't fit... Then please buy a womens size.. Which are typically sizes for women. I am flabbergasted at the petty nature of your first "privilege" of men... Should I therefore complain that if I were to have "man boobs" that womens band sizes don't fit my chest and call that a pr…

Legendary, Your missing the point, Pierceharlan is advocating a truly beautiful epistemologically based solution to the problem. The punishments shouldnt be any different. It is all based on consent. When two parties consent and agree to each others terms then there is no accidental. It is clearly subject A did not hold up to the agreement or B or whomever. At that point it comes down to whether or not the "verbal agreement was broken" not the actual stipulations of the agreement itself, at that…
