I married into a different culture so we only had a small event at the parents house. She and I do not want a wedding but the mother does so the mom is paying for all of it. I think I was most amazed by the corporate propaganda and how much employees bought into it. I worked at one of the large insurance companies for a bit. Automatic common law marriage doesn't actually exist. The rules usually state that the community has to seen the couple as husband and wife. For example they sign documents together with same last name or they tell people they are married. Usually it's for a few years as well. Just living together does not do that.

I live in a state where most of my colleagues are pretty heavily armed (including family law attorneys), so going after them would be kind of worthless. Yep thats about right. For now the rates of enrollment and applications are dropping so the glut may even out in a few years. Many boomers are also looking at retirement, but that doesn't mean everyone will still get a job. I'm luckily in a city that is not overstaurated like California and parts of the northeast. Federal is a good route, though the pay is not too much better. You want to stay in your current field? Law is good if you can get a scholly and attend a top school. At the moment that gpa with a mid 170s will get you somewhat there. If you want to stay in field though, one of my acquaintances said get detective and investigative experience. Federal agencies love that. And as long as you have a pretty solid record you will be ok.

I have GERD so I had to get calories from something. 1 banana, 2 scoops of regular chocolate protein powder, 1 to 2 scoops of Oats (see if you can get the powder form), and then mix in milk and it tastes like a smoothie. I have only seen marriage 1.0 happen in a few circumstances in modern times. Generally it was when a guy married into a foreign culture that shamed any daughters who got divorced and cut them out of family life or it was when a man married a woman with much more money/assets than him.
