Is the opposite also possible? Maybe not with that same guy anymore but like, not feeling sexually for someone and then having a 180 after romantic feelings get involved.

What I meant by if it presented itself Is that if you really wanted it to happen, you'd have already tried anyways. Aside from that thanks for the detailed answer, pretty similar to my experience, I can fantasize about anyone remotely attractive. Though I don't withhold that shit to just get into peoples pants I only hang out with people I wanna hang out with.

It's not asif they harm anyone if it's just a fantasy. I fantasize about lotsa weird shit I wouldn't want in real life. Though if they were 5 years old instead of 16 I'd be really, really concerned.

I hear that a lot from girls. I've never ever had that "she's like a sister it feels repulsive", aside from with people I grew up with from an early age. It makes me feel guilty because while they find the thought of fucking me repulsive I'm over here having fantasized about 80% of my female friends at least once. Then I looked it up and it's actually pretty common for forum visiting dudes to do (though these comments so far have less of those). I wouldn't be comfortable actually doing it with t…

Not necessarily a response to you just thinking out loud; I think women are persuaded by the right body language, tone of voice, actions and things said way more easily than men are, even when it's things that only really change the person superficially and in ways that don't have to do with being a good person. Sure, if a woman genuinely finds a dude attractive, he can do anything and if she genuinely finds someone unattractive you can't do anything to change it unless you're like, fat I guess.…

Sometimes I am sometimes I'm not. It's incredibly inconsistent and I wish I could find out what makes some moments click. Sometimes I'm surprised people find me fun when I thought I wasn't fum, sometimes I thought I was fun and the person couldn't give two shits less.

Kind interactions with strangers are some of the most memorable and impactful moments to me. Because those people have no reason to treat you well as they don't know you and could easily do the opposite.

Actually I cried once on a train and a middle aged woman gave me a handkerchief so I could deal with my nose. I felt so moved by such a simple action. Edit: Another time I ran away from home to an alley and was really sad and some old man walked a bit with me and told me to go home. Instead of taking advantage of me he helped me. I do know people sympathize way more quickly with women and often punish men being expressive, and that being overly emotional often kills attraction. But when you feel…

Okay, this answer is more understandable than anything gou replied in that other exchange. Which is probably because the subject was changed anyways. I think people are used to people implying something with the questions they get asked here or having some ulterior motive, and banter is the standard way to respond here. Why is it so hard for you to accept that taking what most women say at value is just not benefitial to men at all, and in fact the opposite? I highly doubt it's an exception. Most don't even do it conciously, it's not like they have bad intentions (In fact, they're often naively positive). It's not about being trecherous, more about people acting in their world experience, self interest and fickle emotions, yet women happen to be on another team. Trecherous people are a different subject. The "m…

A lot of things that made the man's behavior attractive to begin with has to do with gender roles. Also yes, your scenario is an example of a gender role thing.

Yeah, it's practical. But it's not exactly something that makes me think "Wow I'd love to get a partner". And people also often do not admit to this biology and advertise it as it not being a thing which just fucks with expectations.

I am convinced women there love is much more conditional, unless it is platonic. Yeah you can say guys are conditional about looks but it's not asif looks play no factor with women and behavior plays a lot of factors with women creating more conditions that may have nothing to do with the actual connection between tou two.

It's funny to me how much masculinity is looked down upon in the general public, because in actual practice being Unmasculine (not necessarily feminine) is punished in our soceity in subtle ways. The big thing is that any showing of any true weakness whatsoever as well as any kind of passivity is way more detrimental when a man than to a woman. These "neutral" people would likely react much better to the masculine man. Just not if it's a stereotypical macho man. However if the dude fits male gen…

Just because you know the "truth" doesn't mean you can execute that shit. I know plenty of things about how social behavior works. Doesn't mean I'm not still an awkward autistic sperg. I mean sure the title is true but, just because you see those couples doesn't mean it's what those women are ideally into. Hell they could also like those men in spite of those characteristics. If Red Pill is gonna try to give the dudes progress, they should try to aim for the ideal that works on as many women as possible so they can get as close as possible.

I can find both studies that claim men cheat more and then millennial women cheat more and ones where it's close together. Maybe the studies had shitty ass methods but whatever. As this shit is harder to objectively measure than I expected, I guess I"ll just stick to my most logical belief that women are just as likely to do something as shitty as cheating, but different circumstances may change the amount it actually happens, and the genders may have different reasons.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/10/18 11:58 AM
2

As far as I know the amount of cheating women do has increased to similar amounts because they are given more opportunities in the modern age, while men used to have more oppertuny back in the old days as the woman was home a lot.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/10/18 10:59 AM
3

All the studies I saw on cheating percentages were pretty close to each other. I highly doubt men cheat more, seems like one of those women are wonderful myths. Maybe women are just better at hiding or trying to justify that shit. I'll only believe men cheat slightly more.

To answer the thread question and not the content of your post Yes. But they're just catering to what the women don't know they want. There's always a degree of manipulation involved when you want to increase the chances of what you want to happen, and in love, a degree of manipulation is almost expected from a man as you're traditionally supposed to try to win her over. Manipulation is a fundamental thing to social interaction. Sometimes that's a bad thing, sometimes it's fine. Even my little 4…

I honestly wonder what OP is trying to achieve with this. We all know the answer already, including women. Hell this is probably the most surface level gotcha questions that could've been asked. We all know he's trying to show hypocrisy, but if women don't agree it's actually what's going on when they're with men in the first place, there's no gotcha to be made.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/10/18 10:18 AM

This along with the voluntary ones is what I meant. Even if we include these non identified incels, 40% just seems too high. If op is aware it's not the same, why not actually accurately write it down? It won't make the post much longer and prevents this kind of question I asked. Plus there may be non identified incels people who want sex, and could get it, but don't want to put in that effort.

It's a sign of human emotion, which isn't logical. If you've had a bunch of bad experiences with one thing, you'll want to avoid it. To not do that is to try to override your default instincts, which can be very difficult depending on your other circumstances. The prejudice is there for survival. If you see a bunch of tigers killing shit, you assume others will too so you won't get slaughtered. I'm not saying it's a good thing, but I can't fully blame them. You can rationalize something all you …

I think there are absolute truths if you look at them from x criteria or viewpoint (people aren't consistent with their own viewpoints). If you'd ask an all knowing god, there would be an answer. Male. I've had more but at the moment there's not many I regularly talk to. Male friendship as a male is more about talking about specific subjects you have in common more in depth and doing specific activities together. There is a difference between experience of difficulty and how challenging achieving a specific goal is for one person. While being satisfied is hard for everyone, achieving the goals that would satisfy others but not you doesn't have to be. Just because I'm not satisfied by some shitty small apartment doesn't mean I don't have it easier than some poor dude. Also I guess I'm a girl. I should date lesbians. But yeah many guys are desperate for sex. I don't think anyone can argue with that.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/10/18 08:14 PM

All this makes me think is that women are harder to satisfy. Which means getting what a dude wants, is easier for them. It just doesn't make the woman any happier than the man as they're both going for a different goal.

Wait, are you trying to tell me you actually contributed to something useful in society? That's impressive. I have no clue how it works, but its impressive. What's the short story about?

You don't really learn Japanese through one single thing. Most folks use the Anki review software everyday to remember their vocabulary, start with the Genki Textbooks and the website Tae Kim, then move on to the Tobira textbook, and after that preparation just start consuming media while adding words to anki. If you use that new Reddit chat feature or give me your discord or some shit I could help ya out explaining some concepts in an easier manner if ya want. I love nerding out about Japanese.…

Isn't OP just saying he wants more empathy so people understand where the other is coming from instead of arguing in circles all day? I don't think people just mean empathy for themselves. I also think if nobody has any empathy we're liklier to get people who go insane and do something bad.

Oh I fucking love isolating myself until my companionship instincts kick in. But unlike most that shit takes longer before it happens. Interacting with people is tiring, but sometimes I need it. I feel lonely either way, but in isolation I at least don't feel bothered by anything. Isolation is like alcohol to me, it feels nice but too much and I get negative consequences.

I know right. Fuck the incels, but only figuratively.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/10/18 09:45 AM

I admit, itt does sound kind of patronizing when you see a bunch of openly insecure people get into relationships, and when it's easier to self actualize when you have proof of success, but I understand that that stuff still will help in every facet of life and especially the way you percieve life even when you are alone. There is a reason people say it so much, it works, regardless of there being instances of successful people who haven't figured it out. It's more consistent. To my cynical ass …
/r/PurplePillDebate04/10/18 09:21 AM
3

Yeah it becomes hard to emphasize when people keep not giving you empathy and are so far gone they just lash out on you when you try. That said, you can definitely empathize with me when I'm not in my trolly moods. It feels nice to have your concerns or frustrations be acknowledged and to feel listened to. Don't pity me though, that shit doesn't get me anywhere.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/10/18 09:06 AM

Yeah no you're right I really do find it hard to imagine even if I know it's possible and I especially find it hard to imagine it'd happen to me. Especially when it could be that when you think it did 5 years later it turns out that wasn't the case with no way of knowing prior. I'm too cynical. I'm scared I'm too socially inept to pull it off and have a feeling it's generally more about conforming to gender roles/social standards and about practicality than equal love. I have a feeling I'll alwa…

I mean I'm quite a bit closer to them than a bloop but I definitely have female friends. I don't see why people make a big deal of that shit. Anytime I hang out with someone and they happen to be female everyone keeps asking of some kind of romantic/sexual intention.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/10/18 08:23 PM
2

Exactly, it's way easier to be mad than devestatingly sad, and it's hard to be mad when you take an accurate nuanced view. I had that experience once with something technically non romantic. Demonizing the person in order to get angry and feel asif it wasn't a real loss as a self defense but usually eventually the sadness slips through anyways.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/10/18 08:17 PM

I think I hope y'all will have happy long lasting relationships because I hope people will prove my cynisism wrong and I think any decent human being deserves to feel ha- uuhm- I mean go fuck yourselves this is purgeweek mothafuckas! Hah!.....

/r/PurplePillDebate03/10/18 07:54 PM
3

I doubt that's gonna work where I live at least. I think I've literally only saw 1 dude do that. Granted it's hard to tell when it happens but still.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/10/18 07:51 PM

Meh I'll pass considering I don't really talk to them anymore and just happen to still have their number. it's purge week so I can be a poopybutt n stuff. God that reminds me one of them used to be a good friend... :/
/r/PurplePillDebate03/10/18 07:48 PM

The passive femininity gender norm thing you just mentioned, that's the one perpetuated. And the behaviors I just I don't like are what I consider possible toxic side effects of that. I don't think we're even disagreeing much at this one.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/10/18 07:45 PM
1

I didn't say uour sentences weren't right. I'm saying people suck at saying them as clearly as you did (aka the way you just explained it was right). A lot of advice is lost on people because they make it too open to wrong interpretation
/r/PurplePillDebate03/10/18 07:42 PM
1

I still just don't see why his comparisons to ither toxic whatevers can't be made.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/10/18 07:39 PM
2

Asif people usually make these kinds of distinctions. They say 2 thing, actually mean something slightly different, and then get confused people don't understand them. Someone who means your second sentence will likely just say "Looks don't matter"
/r/PurplePillDebate03/10/18 06:42 PM
1

While plenty don't say this, I could send a what's app message to two of them right now and don't know many people. They don't claim there's no difference, they just say looks don't matter to them and they're looking for personality.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/10/18 06:40 PM
6

My biggest crush didn't want me yet acted jealous when I mentioned stuff about other girls and then tried to play it off as a joke when I brought it back up later. Fuck that noise, I fled.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/10/18 06:34 PM
2

I legit know multiple girls who say looks don't matter to them at all and will keep reqssuring this. The intellectual dishonesty is astounding
/r/PurplePillDebate03/10/18 06:33 PM
1

For your first point: Asif there's nothing biological about general differencrs in feminine and masculine behavior. You are born male or female, and parts may or me not be toxic depending on how you deal with them. Hell, you are born black, yes, but most differences in black people are cultural. If anyone would be using toxic and black, they'd be reffering to the toxic parts of black cultures.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/10/18 06:20 PM
1

Being too submissive, passive and conformist, always playing victim, being emotionally manipulative, sanctimonious behavior, things they say about weaker men and blaming men in general, being too emotional, going for shitty dudes because their behavior turns them on, perpetuating the women are wonderful thing, hypergamy, expecting preferential treatment, etc
/r/PurplePillDebate03/10/18 06:12 PM
2

I mean if the halo effect is a thing, the opposite is likely to be a thing too so I doubt that's what's meant by treat like shit.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/10/18 06:08 PM
2

Literally is literally literal.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/10/18 06:04 PM
2

I always assumed biologically speaking beings bully for social dominance of the group/strength and to see who is too weak for the group/strengthen people in the group, as well as to not make themselves a target. People always try to see what boundaries people have and take advantage of them. Children do this with parents. Meanwhile for personal motivation the compensating for insecurity or just feeling better than others thing is common.

/r/PurplePillDebate03/10/18 05:35 PM

I would say the core of this behavior is biological, the ways in which we express it/let it manifest are cultural. While media and peers and such spread it further culturally, a lot of it was already based in biology. You can stop soceity all you want, but the biology remains. It's just that soceity makes it more common with higher degrees. I also think there's a lot of overlap between these toxic/non toxic traits. The same trait can suddenly be considered toxic or not toxic depending on the sit…

Because it's not about pursuading the other people you debate. It's about understanding your own and others opinions better, considering new things and persuading people reading who aren't sure of their opinion yet. I was persuaded by the sub to go from blue to purple with a bit of red. But right now I won't ever get persuaded to go blue, but I may be somewhat persuaded on specific topics or improve my opinions to be more fair . It's both. One just follows the mainstream herder that makes them seem morally right and doesn't offend them. The other follows the alternative herder that has what they want to believe and makes them feel smarter than everyone else. That said the bloops can still suck it because it's purge week and I'm still mildly bitter.

Most folks have had the ability to have done something (even if small) that has to do with romance and or physical intimacy by 18, unless they just didn't want to or were in a scenario where it couldn't really happen. I think this shows how silly the modern culture of blocking everyone who says something we don't like out of our lives is (I see that all the time on twitter). You can have fun with your enemies, and you can learn from each other even when you're being stubborn pricks. It also helps you can just be yourself, even with all your baised inaccurate opinions, and not have the other opinions be sugarcoated. I also think this sub attracts a larger amount of reasonable people than the blue and redpill s…

I fail to see how that is related to the statement of nature not being Egalitarian. Why lol? Have you ever seen those spiders eat the male before fucking? Or those anglerfish where one gender becomes the ballsack of the other? Or male ducks who regularly gangrape female ducks? Sure we are entirely different species, but nature sure as hell doesn't have a track record for being fair about gender, or anything at all. As a dude I can confirm this. They just seem to think that the ''natural'' guys they like aren't wearing any makeup. They are. What I take away from this is that both sexes are unaware of their looks for the opposite reasons. Women get told they look good too much, making it lose meaning to them. Men get told they're good looking way too little, meaning they have no clue. This is amplified by women being pickier and not doing approaching and men finding more women pretty yet also placing more importance on visuals. Is something most adults are expected to have experienced at least once really a fairytale assumption? Also "You'll make a girl happy someday" does indicate certainty in the word someday. In fact if you tell these people you're uncertain about finding someone they'll insist you'll find someone.

Well, this one seems to actually stem from the fact that for cute girls, this is actually true, and they project that onto men. All an attractive girl has to do is just.. exist around men, and it will happen eventually. Often the dudes will ask advice to girls that are attractive. Dudes have to be more proactive if they're not incredibly attractive. So much this. It's passivity, submissiveness, signs of weakness/no signs of manliness, lack of social charm/flirting skills, low status, etc. That said, a lack of confidence is part of those things. And usually, outliers and bisexuals aside, if someone with these things does get someone, it seems to be because relatively to the girl they aren't these things even if they are as a whole. Even in anything non romantic. While often we equally value each other as people these days, any social interaction usually has one person with more control. It's usually either the one who likes the other person the least, the one with more authority, or the more socially skilled one in the room.

The amount of women saying it's only easier for women to fuck is astounding. Despite the fact that I see the "I can't make any friends except for my boyfriend!' thread pop up quite a bit while with dudes it's almost always about girls only wanting to be friends instead. 4 of my friends were into my last crush, and she's an autistic weird girl with painted hair. I don't think they're even trying to say it should make women happier. They're saying attaining what THEY want would be easier if they were women. You're admitting it here, it's 1 cent to you. You're playing with higher expectation because you are used to getting more by default. A man who hasn't had to eat will crave any food. A rich person won't become happy by some shitty food. This, when you have options, you try the best you can get first and then see what youll have to settle with. Both men and women do this, it's just that women have a fuckload more options on dating sites though they are pickier. Men find many, many more women good looking enough by default, but any human being wants the best they can get if a choice is given.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/09/18 06:08 PM

I don't agree with your argument at all, but the premise makes sense to me. You have women exploiting relationships for personal gains. And you have men trying to avoid getting exploited as well as try to only get personal gains out of it. Redpillers seem to feel burnt because regular people's dating advice and info on how women work was inaccurate and counter productive. Not because they got burnt by hot people.

You know, that makes me wonder whether the claim of men being better at leading isn't actually the opposite. if I look at traditional gender roles, women seem to be more fit for leading as women do the things that have to do with maintenance/management while the men do most of the pure execution. In certain spaces If you have a male boss who is a leader, having a female personal assistant/advisor isn't u…

One of the most openly miserable wrecks I knew is of the bubbly over energetic silly/quirky girl type. The outside is rarely an indication of how people actually feel. Hell sometimes it's just a coping mechanism. I know I sometimes get into "joker" mode when I feel like shit to distract myself from it. Sometimes it's a mask, other times it's genuinely what they're like but the depression is just always there in the background.

I would guess our generation is more depressed (asin circumstantial depression) than the last overall. The disappointment of how we were raised vs how the world really is. It's hard for us to pay student debts, find steady jobs after graduation and get a good home quick enough. Climate change and other world issues are fucking us over soon enough. I mean sure that was not nuanced at all but I can't blame him when every male gender issue gets brushed aside as "the fault of the patriarchy" or "toxic masculinity". It is a phenomenon under plenty of groups of women to always make themselves the victim some way or another. As for the topic at hand, both genders prepetuate all gender role related bullshit for both genders. Both genders are to blame.

It rarely is solely about attraction to begin with though. There's a base amount of attraction required, and after the rest is more important. But to make the relationship able to work at all you're gonna need some kind of true attraction. Think of food. How much personal value do you give to food? I bet not much. It's a neccasity , one that can be fun, but I bet friends, hobbies, careers, romance etc is more important. Thing is without food, that can't exist. A Redditor once said, and I'm parap…

If you treat women like normal people, they will treat you back that way: a friend or an aquaintance. It does not build any attraction whatsoever unless she was into you by default which is rare in this scenario. Being ugly does NOT have any impact on what you find attractive. As a straight man, the only practical difference between men and women is that men look sexually unappealing by default. It's not asif an ugly couple will automatically be content with each other. It's just that people try to get the best they can, so there's much more of a chance as pretty people have options. That said, yes plenty of people considered unattractive by most have at least found 1 partner. Thing is, as a man it's not…

Not directly related but: With dudes I think it's less that they don't find them hot anymore but more that certain bad behavior makes them uninterested to be around them anymore at all. It kills attraction, but it usually doesn't kill sexual appeal. When men find something cute it's rooted to drive them to protect women as well as their family. When women find something cute it's rooted in their drive to protect their children. Why get attached and trust someone to not betray you when there's like a 1 in 3 chance it could happen (even years in) and there's no way to predict it won't? It's not like cheating is as rare as a car crash. May as well keep some kind of distance then if you still want the relationship instead of fully emotionally committing only to risk feeling like a wreck later. No, but men are generally more dominant, which caues it to become associated with men. Just because it's a manly thing to do/a masculine trait doesn't mean people are saying masculinity has a monopoly on dominance. Other things can be dominant too without it necessarily being masculine, but masculine people tend to be dominant and women like masculinity, and thus like a degree of dominance in a man.

That they're exaggerating because they have no other outlet and nobody else took them seriously before. That the non incels have no clue how they act in real li…

When someone is attracted and the other isn't, duh ya can. I find a ton of girls my age attractive whether I know them or not and it really has no bearing on how the friendship plays out. That I want to fuck someone isn't special in the slightest and I can easily keep it to myself. When one is madly in romantic love and the other isn't, that shit will hurt like fuck. It's still possible, but do it at your own risk.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/07/18 08:43 PM

Wtf is the point of wanting to stay alive with this logic ? Not hurting others? If that's the case, why not just kill everyone so nobody would have any problems?
/r/PurplePillDebate25/07/18 08:39 PM

I mean it might root back to that, but I think they even do it to women in general due to gender role related shit. Men aren't allowed to show as much weakness and are expected to do more shit before they're taken seriously by either gender.

I don't think feeling like you deserve some kind of romantic attention from someone when acting like a good person immediately equates thinking that any girl you like owes it to be attracted to you. You could be meaning it in that exact abstract sense I described. That said..There's definitely guys who act like they do owe them something... Hypothetically speaking, Just because someone saved your life doesn't mean you're forced to be best buddies. Just because you're a good person doesn't mean s…

The thing is if someone's saying they "deserve" to have at least a few friends if they're a good person I don't think there'd be that much backlash even though it's the same scenario just in a different area. When I think about my friends, I think they're all "deserving" of finding love and someone who treats them well.

Nobody literally says those words ,no, but when you ask advice on DATING to a woman, and they tell you what they find attractive IN A MAN, then in that context of wanting to find a partner ofcourse they're gonna mean either romantically or sexually attractive. There is skepticism that police officers do something about anything when you file a complaint. At least I saw that here on the news once in the Netherlands, where people weren't being helped for even pretty simple things. I think whether there's a bias for believing or disbelieving depends on the type of people you ask, I'd say middle to right people tend to disbelieve more easily while the left people believe more easily. Personally, I have no clue what to believe.

It's like people will say anything to deny this truth and blame shit on men. Sure, you shouldn't wallow in self pity and you should do something, but stop denying that in this area it is harder. The only reason the woman still has it hard is because she can make her standards higher. That option isn't unrealistic for her. Meanwhile a poor person will never buy that expensive car.

Women often try to go after the same small pool of men + a niche small pool of men they persinally are into most other women don't like. Men tend to try to go after a larger pool of women. People can have had multiple relationships and there's also dating/sex related things that can happen without being paired off. 1 popular guy could have had 5 relationships while some dude could have had only 1 womam that was 1 of those exsct 5 women.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/06/18 07:39 AM

Sure, but women are the ones with general higher standards for what's considered attractive enough, especially as it's often not just about looks nor a "good personality".

No, others their behavior encourages bad behavior. It's not like they were like that from the start. In a more extreme example, That's like saying someone who has mental health issues from having childhood trauma was always mentally ill. Tbh it's like that with anything. When music albums or action movies or whatever build up to a climax it's always more satisfying than just getting there immediately. Even good very extreme music often still has ups and downs and a climax point. Context matters. People like a clear beginning, middle, and end.

I've never had sex but even when I fap there's a mental difference for me when I do it normally on pure lust and when I also include my romantic love like when thinking about a crush in a certain way (though I can purposefully do it the lustful way about people I love too if I want). I'm hoping that sex with someone I love would feel more intimate and satisfyng instead of just getting excited over a high and killing some basic primitive urges for a day. Not that that the latter is a bad thing.

I never called myself nice and I don't want to be with those women. The women saying this are the female equivelents of nice guys. It's as much of a red flag as "I'm not like the other girls". I'm also not saying it's not alright to reject the dudes or overlook them. They should just stop being dishonest and act like a decent person is impossible to find. I find it funny how so many gender issues are the same but have the opposite cause, but then people think one group has it better than the other even though it's equally shitty in the end. Men tend to not be taken seriously because they're supposed to be strong and not show any weakness, while women are often not taken seriously because they're seen as victims that need help.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/04/18 08:16 AM

I'm not surprised society generally thinks women are better in that sense when I've seen sanctimonious moral superiority more often in women than men. At school as a kid the teachers always thought the girls were more well behaved but the boys just insulted and hit each other directly while the girls insulted each other behind their backs on msn or some shit. It's the same shit, just less obvious.

5 is totally how I see people get into relationships, that and dating apps/sites. I really don't get where this idea of approaching comes from. 7 is totally the crux of the situation. Most people I know don't really approach, they just live their social lives (parties with friends that have some friends of friends n stuff) and it happens. Ah okay, my bad, it just seemed really strange and I'm in a salty mood. I don't think someone can be emotionally draining every waking moment. Giving and taking n stuff and sometimes that includes keeping something to yourself for a bit. But I do see the double standard happen.

It's almost like you can't be the real you and have to put on an act or else they won't see you as relationship/sexual material. It's almost like making a clickbaity trend pandering youtube channel to find success. I literally said "I disagree". I did not present it as the absolute truth. I just told why I disagree from my experie. It's about why I have my belief, not the truth. You don't need to state that everything is an opinion to know it's an opinion.

Tbh the situation itself is quite common among nerdy introverted types, though the reasoning behind it isn't usually like this. They aren't directly afraid of being a "creep", instead they're people why are generally afraid to bother people and thus remain passive towards people in general about the things they want. They Only do when surebsomone finds it okay. And that passivity is then too boring and feminine when it comes to sex/romance and is unattractive. Along with that, they are taught by…

I guess hard expectations of gender roles are always toxic. Being overly submissive can be pretty toxic, which is the case for some. Or the group of women that place too much importance on status and wealth/materialism. Then there's this feeling of moral superiority and naive, sanctimonious behavior while being just as bad as others behind peoples backs. Not limited to any sex in the slightest, but even back when I was like 7 years old I could notice girls did this kinda thing more often. Probab…

It frustrates me that I'm supposed to see it as something to make me feel better when it does the opposite for reasons noted in this thread. You can be as social as you want but an introvert will feel drained more quickly than an extrovert. I think it can be somewhat made better by getting used to all the stimuli but when it gets large enough you're still gonna be tired as fuck.

I'm glad to know women like you exist so that when I'm older I don't have to have kids if I wanna stay in a relationship. Also that's pretty sad they react like that. I think the way to get over the feeling is to realize that people only give someone's personality a chance when the looks are attractive. Attractiveness, well, attracts people, and personality makes them stay. But that attraction is a requirment. It's not that they hated your personality at first, it's that they weren't going to give it a chance as a requirment wasn't met. Hmm. Lemme see. I have like, 4 dudes that regularly talk to me, as well as 3 girls I regularly talk to (my last 2 schools both had little to no girls though). And aside from that I know a bunch more girls who I'm just casually friends with. One invited me to her birthday somehow. But none of them really give a fuck to help me in that way. No. But then people are surprised when I basically make any slightly negative statement about women in general or certain types of women, and then make you out for something you're not. Which they don't do when I do so about men. Exactly. They just don't know any experience except their own. It's like the ''don't look for love'' thing. For attractive girls the advice can definitely work because men are doing most of the initiation.

Good we're on the same page then, but I do think the issue of others acting like they are is a bit annoying to me. And I also think they downplay the amount of the cause has to do with soceity (family and media) raised. Still though, the lashing out like that can't be excused and is unacceptable. The backlash is completely valid. It's just that I'd like them to understand where it came from instead of misrepresenting the cause/intention.

Is that really uncommon? I pretty much agree. Attraction is a requirement (otherwise I'd be dating the same sex too), but me actually loving to spend time with the person is way more important. It should be one of the closest connections you have with any person. And the whole thing about a relationship to me is that once you're in a relationship with that person, you both share a team. I want to fuck like a bajillion people I barely know. I don't want to build up a super close top priority emotional bond and share a life for a period of time with just anyone. I have literally heard this like two weeks ago from a girl who's sexually open and seems to want to bang a lotta people. Except me, according to a friend. I've also heard it from others in the past. Would it? There's more than enough people right now and we always seem to be multiplying. Less kids would be good for our finite resources.

hat I was saying. I'm sure there are a bunch of psychological issues underneath being aroused by humiliation or other bad treatment, but it's still a weird fetish, not our new official party line. I find it hilarious that of all the weird fetishes that exist, it's cuckolding that gets the internet riled up. What the actual fuck. Come on guys, in porn you watch other people fuck all the time, and it's not hard to imagine a small percentage of dudes like being dominated.

I'd just like to note, my school had very little girls and most people I know are from school. The next school I'm going to will have very little of them as well. Most female friends I've made so far were friends of friends outside school.

Could I ask what made you decide to take the red pill's side as a girl? I know there seem to be a few others here like that as well but I find it an interesting idea.

My sister's boyfriend is very nice to us, but he's a huge dick towards most people. That kind of stuff makes the line blurry. Unless in a cranky mood or I'm being snarky on the internet, I'm typically a kind person, but I tend to do jack shit for for people and can be selfish, and I have had my not nice moments. So even for more regular cases it is indeed not that black and white. When female friends compliment me for being nice It kind of saddens me because that's kind of A requirment for a fri…

It's all about priority. You can get into a relationship primarily for the romance. They might be in love instead of only thinking oh man I wish I could bang her. There's tons of people I'd like to do but not many people I have romantic feelings for. To me people's reaction comes accross as the "guys just want sex" narritive. Ofcourse they want that but it's not asif it's the only thing.

For one of them, the strong one, the ship has kinda sailed. My in love butterfly feelings and constant urge to talk have faded, and we have had trouble having those long conversations we used to have again. After a lot of drama from rejection and keeping up talking, there was this period where she briefly thought she liked me and then made up her mind and decided she was mistaken. Which of course hurt a ton and she's not too fond of having said it. Then she went for this other guy I'm friends wi…

I'm still friends with 2 people who rejected me. I'd say it's only worth the temporary pain if they're truly good friends and not just likable people. At first continuing to hang out can hurt quite a lot especially if it's a very strong crush but it does fade over time, luckily. I appriciate to still have them in my life.

Why do people always assume people who complain about the friendzone only want sex? What if they're looking for a romantic relationship? Not that I complain about the friendzone (anymore, I did when I was like 15 as I was a dumbass but don't remind me of that)

If someone rejects me and I keep talking, it's just because I like talking to them. They're friends. I don't expect anything coming from it. It'd be a waste of time anyways. Plus, it's easier to move on than to keep talking.

Why should only superior things be allowed to exist when existance is meaningless? Don't the inferior things serve as a nice contrast to showcase how the other things are superior?

And As far as I know just because one thing is optimal doean't mean the rest dies out right? Like, monkeys still exist alongside humans just fine...

The creatures that didn't want to procreate didn't survive. Why would genes of things not wanting to procreate pass on?

I don't get those men. Personally I'm not even a fan of very big boobs, I prefer medium to small. Really don't mind the smaller ones at all. They're all boobs though (It's just a preference) , and I think shape is more important than size.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
