Not necessarily if it’s agreed and signed then the courts won’t question it. Tunes change after some time. And courts will only enforce what’s written otherwise you have to take it back to court to fight it. Child support is based on income and over nights. So if they moved and split custody won’t work due to school and distance someone will get primary.

Remember her choice to move could be 300 miles away. And then guess what custody changes. And school and amount of child support

Well she wanted 25k to move away and she would leave me my daughter. I agreed and she changed her mind said she could get more by going thru the court. She got 25k in the settlement then caused more issues. Now I have my daughter because of false reports and parental kidnapping.

Just remember. Ever text and email costs money. So if you can lump everything into one big email it will be cheaper. My 10k retainer was fine in the first month because my ex would constantly email and text her attorney and my attorney would have to respond. So the less you have to communicate the better

Sorry to tell ya man. But I’m about 50k in for attorneys. And selling my boat for 35k just to prepare for another legal battle.

Haha. Deal with the same thing. I apparently had a tracker on her vehicle. The courts, school and police and counselors are all on my side because I’m using my power as a prior reserve cop to my advantage. Everyone is abusing there power and wants our custody case moved to federal court they are violating her civil rights

That’s it. How about mentioning a female I was cheating. Couldnt see family because they were a bad influence. If I did something for myself I was cheating. If I was 15 minutes late home from work. Cheating.

Ohhh I know what the silence was about. That was her pause and questioning her choices and thinking this is kind of nice. Then u spoke. Lol

Just request it. Most likely they will want both of you to go thru it. And offer to pay for it due to ur concerns you feel it’s necessary.

I Was married 5 months before filing. She is entitled to any equity of the house during the time u were married. So nothing. And half of ur 401k for only the months u were married. So again nothing.

Yes bottom line you want her working. Shows she is employable and less child support and doesn’t need alimony

Did you try using the actual state of Michigan child support calculator? And as far as the state goes they aren’t a big fan of alimony. Totally judge dependent. But at 4 years I dont see her getting it or for very long without good reason. Now the cost of childcare may hurt you more then anything when she does start to work.

Dealing with the same. Emotionally dead and you don’t wanna deal with anyone else’s bs. Hopefully someday it changes. But now I focus on me and my daughter. Physical attraction is there but the added drama has no place in my world. Ive got enough of my own.

Sorry. Day of mediation we both signed along with our attorneys the mediation settlement agreement. But is now refusing to sign the consent judgement of divorce.

It was her second free attorney. Legal aid denied giving her a new attorney.

Free attorney are the worst. Because they will call them daily and then your attorney has to respond. Costing a fortune.

Oh like premarital sex is a sin (already had 3 kids) so we won’t be having sex. sex toys and lingerie is a sin, snakes are the sign of the devil, the Euphrates river is drying up and the trapped angels are going to be released and destroy the world, tv is the devil trying to take control of you? No i dont know anything about that stuff.

Just this year I had to take a 30k pay cut and come off a rotating schedule to make sure I was able to have custody of my 2yo daughter. Taking the cut can be hard but I wasn’t prepared to not be involved in her life. Its currently 50/50 but me and my daughter are much happier. One thing I’ve learned over the years. Its only money. You can always make more.

She wanted me to go and stay somewhere else claims she felt unsafe with me in the home. That I’m so toxic. The police were actually very good about it. They couldn’t believe I was even willing to stay in the home. Its a very unhealthy situation. But I stayed for the kids. Keep any blood pressure meds current because ur nerves will be shot before it’s over. Plus side is we reached an agreement and she has to move out by July 1st.

Be prepared for the worst case imaginable. Been living with mine for 6 months. Its horrible. I stay away as much as possible when it’s “her time” with kids. And then stay in the house when it’s mine. To ensure the kids get to sleep in there own beds at night. Record anytime you are in the house with them. And I mean it. Even if it’s just ur phone recording in ur pocket.

Why don’t you try to go 50/50 and let her explain why you can’t have it.

Have attorney file for emergency order. To get the kids back. Mine fled Michigan to Alabama. But don’t wait to long

How about 25k for a 10 month marriage. Was separated for 5 months. But due to the market crash, married on lowest point of 401k. Divorced when turned to prior balance. Oh that growth she’s entitled to half in that short period.

As a father who beyond anything was prepared to live miserable for the next 16 years for my daughter until I was given no choice but to file for divorce when she took my daughter and split. Id still remain miserable to have a complete family for my child to grow into. I realized it’s not possible now. So only thing that matters to me is my daughter. No spark or attraction? Get over it. Its not always about ur happiness. If you aren’t miserable and absolutely hate each other I’d give it another s…

Thank you. Yes been in talks with my attorney. Cps was brought up and is rhe next move. I told her i was going to call and she said good go ahead and call. She prevented me from working today because she never came home and i had to call in. I have a career she just starting working again cause she was a stay at home mom. Back to waiting tables when my job carries the insurance and mortgage.
