Yeah its almost like just when we are stable, shit happens. I used to joke with my mates that I am so stable today, shit is gonna go down. And it did lol. But it goes away with time

Brother I did the exact same things (except with other substances lol, lsd ecstacy shrooms etc). I wanna say that you should first forgive yourself for getting plastered, it numbed the pain a bit. But you wont heal while drunk. Get sober man, she may be hot but no woman is worth dying or destroying your body for. She sure is not destroying her body for you. Ur not a loser bro, so stop acting like one lol. I did the same if not worse so I cant preach. Just if I could go back in time I would have …

Anytime man. It sucks at the time but always always gets better. Life is worth more than worrying about an ex that does not give a single shit about how you are feeling

Never say never brother, saying you will never trust again is like eating a bad egg and saying 'I will never eat again'. Dont let one bad egg destroy the rest of your life. There are many many many good women in the world and you will find one, faster than you think. But you have to learn to get out there again. That means trusting and exploring. It worked for me, God knows. Prayer and faith helped me on this journey. My 2 cents worth.

Brother dont overthink what u may have done wrong. 90 percent chance she has met someone else. Her brain has left the building so dont try reason with an idiot. Best chance of affecting her is by stopping all conversation with her and ask her to move out ASAP. It will make her question everything. Believe me, nothing u try to keep her will work. Sorry bro

Awesome brother it sounds like ur definitely on the right track to happiness, we all deserve it and no one woman is allowed to steal all future joy from us. Love hearing good news stories! 🙌

OR does 'I'm done' perhaps mean "I'm done with your penis and I want to put a new penis inside my bored ass vagina"?

No no no bro! Sorry, in my opinion, if there was the slightest chance to save it, you are destroying it by living with her ass. You are enabling her to have her cake and eat it. She gets all the perks of being single along with all the perks of a stable home life. If I was you, knowing what I know about my divorce, I would move out THIS WEEK. It will also shock her, she wont see it coming. And this will make her think. Please, for your own sanity and self esteem move out brother.

Hi, valid questions. I honestly married the first wife as we were more friends than anything else and it seemed the right thing to do. But the cracks showed from day 1 of the marriage. My current wife felt the same with her ex. But what we had in common was both our spouses cheated and we tried to hold.on and fight for our respective marriages. We also have an awesome daughter together (I have 2 kids already but it is her first). I feel very blessed to have this new family but I must agree with …

Brother what I can say is, you tried your best. Anyone in your situation would have had suicidal thoughts, I sure did. What saved me from the same situation was literally.....God. not bible bashing here, just stating the facts as I experienced a total restoration of my legal and financial situation and then found love again. Humans cannot fix these things. Pray and one day at a time you will experience the small and big miracles. The kids will always come back in time, they never forget their da…

Thanks bro. I went to a friend and there were a bunch of people there, and started chatting with her and she said she is getting divorced. By the end of the night I knew more than anything I was going to marry her. I met many girls before but this was just a perfect girl in all aspects (kind, caring, funny, intelligent). I told her about a month later that I want to marry her and she agreed. It was risky but the risk paid off. We have a beautiful daughter together as well. I prayed hard for the …

I almost had a vasectomy, then met the girl of my dreams and married 1 year after my divorce. We have the CUTEST little girl, she is our joy. I recommend holding back on a vasectomy unless you are 100% sure.

There is a God bro, and He forgives all our evil deeds, but you need to forgive her and then yourself. She is still controlling your mind even tho ur the one hurting her. She made a mistake, we all make mistakes, maybe it is time to show her some kindness. IMHO

It gave me a brand new angel of a wife. But it took my 2 little girls'sense of safety and family. I won in the end but they didn't. I fought hard to save the marriage tho. But someone always loses most, and it's the kids usually.

Bro you said a good thing there - God IS teaching you something, when my ex cheated and left I was dead inside for 8 months. BUT then I met an absolute angel and we got married and have a the cutest kid now. I can't even imaging touching my ex now. ALL WILL GET BETTER.

I would suggest making the most of it. Invite random girls over (even if you pay them to just sit there and look pretty), hide her toothbrush as she is about to leave on a hot date, unplug her phone when she puts it on charge the night before, play loud music when she needs an early night...have some fun with it bro!

Bro, since you have quit drinking, your mind is clearing and your thoughts are more real, but also more brutal to deal with. She is still floating around in a daze. Use this to your advantage. Stay sober, get the kids back on track (since she is probably unable to). If you feel bad for your kids, BE THERE for them. You will sleep easy knowing you did your best at the end of each day. See yourself as the single dad now and step up your parenting game. The kids will forget the divorce but will nev…

This is the WORST time, worse than death, but it gets ALOT better. Also you could not have messed it up alone, it takes 2 to sink a marriage. Perhaps she should move out if she can't respect the process

This is a common temptation - you feel time is running out and want to enjoy the last bit of togetherness. But it is not a good idea bro - all the time you spend together once she has decided to leave only makes it easier for her to leave and harder for you to let go. It sucks but if I could have gone back in time, I would have absolutely not spent a second more with her than necessary. The good relationship only comes much later on, after the pain and fighting - now is not the time for it. Also…

Bro, I see my kids every second weekend. We chat once or max twice in the week. A phone call is not at all like time spent together. Its basically a little formality, to say 'oh I spoke with the kids' to all her friends and family. The kids get absolutely zero from it. I have 3 girls, from 5 years old, to 16. I know kids (I honestly believe) and I need to emphasise this: fuck that b****, this does zero for ur kids, its YOUR time. I actually got annoyed so much reading this that I had to comment …

Bro!!!! NO WOMAN IN THE WORLD (except Margot Robbie) can cause 3 years of pain. You need to demolish these thoughts man. Go out and meet strangers, hell, even pay for it but you need to get laid ASAP. I fear that it's the only way (since I don't advocate for the use of drugs, which would also work tho). Once your mind is clear and ur body starts functioning again (sexually) you will see how pointless it was wasting 3 years being sad over that cheating ho.

All I read here is "my wife has a boyfriend and wants to sleep with other men". Sorry bro, I am 90% sure about this (gym, tattoos, not keen for marriage counselling). Pull away TOTALLY, do not be mean, in fact be super polite when you do see her. Do not ask deep questions, do not ask where she has been, do not take notice of her tattoos, do not attempt to woo her. Step back, politely, and get out. Do not call her, message her, only reply when she asks you something. I know it's hard, but she has…

I did the same thing years ago with my ex. She then found someone else when I was ready to commit. Sadly once the walls are built by our mistakes, they become impossible to break down. But there is hope, I remarried and have a new perfect family. In addition to my new daughter my 2 daughters I had with my ex are 100% secure and we have a great relationship. Interesting post! I think guilt is our moral compass telling us we are hurting others due to some action we know to be selfish and wrong. Interesting thing is that guilt comes after the action. Guilt and shame are not good to hold on to for too long tho. I guess psychologists are being paid by someone to alleviate that person's negative emotions so they will say whatever they need to for that person, since third parties don't matter to them. But a genuine marriage counsellor would point out both…

Oh man I was there about 9 years ago. Hated and being hated by in-laws. I considered suicide every day multiple times but was worried the kids wouldn't have a dad and that the life insurance wouldn't pay out for suicide. But only a year after that I was remarried with a literal angel. And still am. Plus we have the most beautiful special little daughter together. When we got divorced she was 36 and him 55 lol. I think she wanted stability, I was partying alot and she got tired of me. I wanted to get a vasectomy right away but for some reason never got around to it. I'm glad now I didn't. My new wife didn't have any kids. I almost didn't want to try but so glad I did, our marriage would not be as awesome if we didn't have this little girl together. But don't feel forced lol an extra kid is a fulltime thing, depends on how bad ur new girl wants kids.

My first relationship after divorce went great bro, it was my first true love and we have the best little daughter now, 8 years married and wouldn't change a thing. Also got married within a year of the divorce (for all the nay-sayers out there). Also am now on great terms with my ex, plus my kids from previous marriage adore my new wife. Pretty much nothing is impossible with God

It's a blessing that she is such an idiot bro! Basically, she's not even pretending to care, which draws it out forever (the hope u still have while u think she's still a good person). Ur going thru the worst part now already, it only gets better from here on. Can't get worse. Endure it, and don't move out but spend zero time around her if that's possible

Imagine YOU loved ur wife apparently but wanted to see if u would miss her so u then divorced her cos she didn't leave the house LOL sounds like she's an idiot and also not mentally stable. Oh! I had my first Christmas without kids and wife in 2016. Literally in January 2017. I met the girl of my dreams, we were married in November 2017 and had our baby girl in November 2019. Yeah, it sucks at the time but staying in that marriage will kill u!

My divorce felt (to me) like the end of all joy and happiness, and then I get a woman 7 times the person my ex was. Sounds cheesy but it's true. Every day I am thankful for this new life. And don't settle for girls that u know aren't your style. Wait, and watch what crazy cool things will happen. Peace

This is actually Day 1 of your actual best life. It's a low point mentally and emotionally due to us men actually still loving the woman who doestnt love us anymore but in the grand scheme of things u need this pain to break that love. The right woman will come, and you won't be able to stand even talking to this ho. And it happens just when u don't expect it. Also pray man, it works

I literally begged for death daily, and in fact tried and it failed twice, I won't even get into how damn lucky I was. And a couple months after that I met the greatest wife in the world. The time is right! She's insecure, untrustworthy, doestnt care about your family, selfish, immature. I mean what more do u need man? Also lazy....the worst part for me. End this shit and find a real wife

Why can't these bitches be honest. "I don't want to fuck you anymore even tho we are still married, but instead I want to fuck this new simp I met at work. I don't want to wait til we are divorced, I want that sex this week already. I want to sleep over immediately so that he can fuck me all night. I am doing this for my pussy.". Instead, the bitch says "um, I need space, I don't want to be with anyone for a long time, and you are the problem".

The literal only thing that helped me was meeting someone else. I was dead inside until that happened. And then my mind shifted to living in the present and the future. But you can't see a future in the past. Move on man, God is all over, and there are plans for u. Don't let an unfaithful woman be YOUR god

It gets easier with time. But what starts the process is accepting that there is nothing u can do to get her back. Don't be a nice guy. Be yourself. And don't put her on a pedestal. She's one of billions of women. Nothing more.

A good wife would have not moved her shag buddy in as you moved out man. I also messed my marriage up with various substances but through it all I met my absolute angel soul mate best friend. I would still be stuck trying to fix that old dead marriage. Don't focus on ur mistakes, focus on God and new beginnings bro. Miracles do happen daily. Mine did so why won't yours. Forget that woman, she's not your concern now

I can recommend seeing a doc and getting a month script for actual legit sleeping pills (not over the counter rubbish). Get one that takes a bit longer to work but keeps u asleep longer. Doc will know. U feel great the next day too. Don't mess with silly sleep aids use the real thing. It resets ur sleeping patterns.

U sound like she got u where she wants you! Broken and confused. She's not stable, it sounds like she wants attention from other guys and is not getting it so she takes it out on u. Be a man and tell her to sod off. She doestnt want you to move on either, so she's selfish. Immature also by the sound of it. If u stay with her, this will be the next 5 years of ur life. Stop trying. If she is playing games, she will want u back once u delete her. So ending it with her will either make your life bet…

Wow man even I hate ber now lol! Yeah ur kids will be fine cos u will be a better person without her man. Also for me God sorted it all out with a brand new wife, 1000 better than the first. Literally I cannot stand to be near my ex for long periods now, and I thought I loved her. Yeah....don't give up, not for that cheating bitch, not worth it.

Why do women post here, is it not enough to fight with your husband alone....why include all of us men

No u don't wait for her man! What about you. She can't make the rules. I let mine do that and I became a pathetic shell of a man. I would recommend u move out completely and stop talking to her except about kid related matters. If she wants space give her too much space. Get a life and hobbies she should clean now and if she can't, she will realise all u were doing. Give yourself space now. The more u beg and plead the more she grows and the more u shrink. Don't do it!

I believed I would never be able to handle my ex with someone else. Then I met my dream wife. She is so beautiful to me that I actually was shy around her for the first months after I met her. Now the thought of sex with the ex repulses me so much I would not be able to sleep with her for any amount of money. She was a season that's all, you are just used to her. Believe me, when she wants to leave, your mind tricks u into thinking she's some sort of goddess. And u see all these perfect men lini…

It's not about being good enough. Divorce is simply a season. If us (men who's wives left) were not good enough why is it the women that leave who go on to improve themselves in every way possible, from new hair to new hobbies....we know what and who we are, they don't know shit about their actual selves

Yeah man that would drive me crazy. U only live once and u are losing your best years with this insecure child. End it and let her do the work if she wants to fix things.

I don't regret the divorce, even though I was the problem and she left me for someone else. I met a girl I have vaguely known my whole life. After the divorce I attended a barbecue and she (new girl) was there, and told me she just got divorced too. She was so perfect to me that I was totally shy around her and could hardly look her in the eye. We got married a year later and had a beautiful baby girl a year after that. I regret nothing, in fact the thought of being married to my ex fills me wit…

These things are good in themselves but could not save my marriage. I destroyed my second marriage (and it was to the love of my life, which in itself was a miracle) due to online trading. I lost altogether 2 pensions as well as my permanent job due to it. Also I am now filing for bankrupcy. Managed to restore it ONLY because God became centre of our marriage. Some manage fine without faith, that's great, but for us ONLY God was the ultimate way to happiness and a solid marriage. Trading and oth…

Please stop trying to fix this mess SHE created, for a start. Then, stop trying to be the best you can be FOR her. Stop all effort, give her the divorce. Be indifferent, don't tell her she messed you up, don't call her to chat, don't kiss her sexually. The kids will be FINE they are stronger than we are. All you need to do is get a good lawyer and be civil. A shell of a husband does not make a great father either. Your life lies ahead, and you will find a loyal loving wife. Come on man, if anyon…
