Op here, I am with you 100%. As much as I disagree with the overall approach, the fact that men as a demographic are talked about at all is a step forward. Scott even says himself that just talking about men a year ago made people want to gag, and now he's on Oprah. If this is controlled opposition, then they shot themselves in the foot at least to some degree. If we have to get facts about whats been going on inch by inch then so be it.

it is a funny thing isn't it. Women get to live in 2025, but you and I are still chained to our strict gender roles and must exist in 1950.

She's not talking about "Guys" either. Hordes of men would be grateful for a fat woman. The fat acceptance movement, at its core, has always been about using post-modern jutsu to make hot guys start liking fat chicks. Anyone doubt me? Go make a fake profile with the photos of a fat chick. You will STILL get hit on, plenty. It just wont be by guys who look like Channing Tatum.

How you can be so dumb as to not see the connection I can’t fathom. 'cuz women don't benefit from making logical straight lines. It's emotional manipulation that get them what they want until it doesn't.

Oh I assumed you live in America. All those things are true in the US and rights disparities like this are among us men's biggest complaints, but the laws may differ in your country. And you asked where we are getting our info. It's not surprising this is all new to you, most people just simply don't know. For a good starting point for such kinds of information, I suggest watching a documentary by feminist documentary filmmaker Cassie Jaye called "The Red Pill" about the men's rights movement. S…
/r/MensRights08/04/18 06:49 PM

Correct. If it's a right a woman has that a man doesnt, that would make it a men's rights issue. After conception, a woman can choose to terminate, give for adoption, abandon at a safe haven, or just leave with the father without paying child support. They can do this for whatever reason they want, and men have no such options, even in emergencies.
/r/MensRights08/04/18 05:03 PM

When we have the "gay dollar". Gay's in the late 80s in the city were often affluent and had no family so they were loaded and we're able to threaten consumer loyalty and alike. When men's groups can make McDonald's fear offending men and lose business then we can talk turkey.

Feminism has never addressed, let alone solved, any of the endless uniquely male problems in society. It only helps women and men are urged to just simply enjoy some form of "trickle down" effect from addressing women's issues only. But this goes against actual equality, which leaves you only with that they are going for female supremacy. All fascism is cancer, and so is feminism.

Yes thank you! Too often I come here only to see "trump will save us all!" Could we please just not. I want MR to be a-political. With more and more trump's people pleading guilty in court it will just get easier and easier for feminists to tie us to all that and convince others to write us off. Don't just hand them the win people.
/r/MensRights02/12/17 12:22 PM
1

No that's aggressive sexual harassment. But we do see a lot of social media and in person comments between women basically stating that it should be illegal for a man to approach a woman if she's not gonna like him. So he has to know beforehand. Men never really got a straight answer to the "how do i get a girlfriend?" Question before, and now all this is even less helpful.

You can really only give yourself hope as you can only change you. Good thing is you may be close to the point of resignation where it feels alone but peaceful and then you're free to do as you like. Your freedom from these bad feelings will ultimately come from being okay with uncertainty and not being emotionally invested in the outcome.

People see what they want. They're clearly taking the piss out of both parties, they made the gay, Lezzies, and fag had all look ridiculous, especially the hilarious "son you know we don't allow cisnormative names for pets in this house. Calm down not everything is against you. And to their credit, trp seems to be ignoring this anyway.

Great work. It is indeed tragically hilarious that when asked "how do I?" The answer is "be nice". So now they each want a crop to choose from of successful men. But instructed generations to focus on being sensitive and holding doors. Good going.

As others have said, it's not gonna work out how you want. Once she locked onto the scent of something that gives her power over men AND disguise it as equality she's going to give her life over to it. Expect last night to be an example for the future of an extremely light debate and only slight tension compared to what's in store.

/r/MensRights28/08/17 05:38 PM

Step one, run screaming away from anything alt right and trump related like we keep saying. It's easy to be tied to fascism if we're, you know... tied to it.
/r/MensRights19/08/17 09:06 PM

Funny thing is we can't just shout "virgin shamer!" And get results as we don't have the vagina to give the accusation weight.
/r/MensRights14/08/17 11:59 AM
1

Yes, that's exactly, positively what I said. We need to do something about it, or there's no escaping needlessly shipping boatloads of ammo to feminists to use against us, and that's not how you win a war. So it is essential to stop allowing alt-right rhetoric to go unchallenged among ourselves. That shit will ONLY hurt the cause, not help. The movement needs to be purified and streamlined if it's to go anywhere. That means no slowing us down with baggage by unnecessarily including unrelated mov…

I like the word supremacy.
/r/MensRights13/08/17 01:02 PM
2

And we deserve it every time we allow alt right rhetoric to go unchallenged in this sub. The movement will go nowhere until we ourselves remove the racial and backwards thinking in our own community. "Libtard" shaming don't help us when I know some fellow Bernie supporters who want MRM to succeed. We will be easy to marginalize until then.
/r/MensRights13/08/17 11:53 AM
6

It doesn't help that so often even in this sub users will extol the virtues of the alt-right as if MRM was inherently so, and rail against "libtards" and chant Trumps name. Until those idiots knock it off the movement will stagnate from being easily discredited as "just more Nazis"

Sure there's far left and far right. But after Carter there was a shift in both parties to the right, spawning what historians refer to as Blue-Dog democrats. So yes, looking at the actual spectrum of what makes conservatives so, and progressives so, the Dems are weighted firmly in the middle, and the GOP firmly in the far-right. Just saying "nuh uh" isn't enough to make something not true. I mean I could have done a whole "Generally speaking" or "most but not all" when I made my statement but t…

I'm sure he has. I have too and the news shows how much of a top to bottom epic fail trump and GOP are. Can't go a day without lies, fails, and new Russian ties. Even when you go on aggregates that take news from everywhere it's still the same story. Sorry bro, MAGA died and that's a good thing.

Yeah, I get the idea of equality everywhere but charging women less means more women in the club for men to talk to which draws more men as well. It's not equal on the face but there's a point to it. Similar thing was talked about here in FL in 1998.
/r/MensRights03/07/17 08:26 PM

No. I was referring to what you said as delusional. That people think voters rejected the dems... even though Hillary won the popular vote, they think 3 million illegals voted for her because someone on the net told them it did. 100% with you. But it's because you seem to be one of those OG feminists who are after equality. Your type is not the loudest these days. Many are after power and supremacy and actually get sexist laws on the books somehow. You said "There is no reason for women to be upset..." and it's true, but when reason goes out the window, we gotta discuss how to fight back against a predictable battle that hasn't happened yet, just to get what women have had since the '60s

I know the scene. It seemed odd that the gentleman behind the megaphone was so ardent in his stance, seemingly ignorant of what MRA is about. Seems to me he may have more reason to be an MRA as women would play less a role in a gay man's life.

Wow. Hope this gets a lot of play.

Because in that gap between women's and men's body strength women too often close it using lethal means, there as a man could just pin a perm by himself. Fems don't wanna recognize difference. Needless death. Saw a video of a woman officers body can once, she taxes him, and then opened fire withe her pistol as she was shocking him. All at a distance, because he kept moving his head to look at her to talk iirc.
/r/MensRights29/05/17 06:46 PM

Now we just need Big Red on our side. How do we do that?

I'm with you there. Also difficult to design a robot that has leadership skills, has more money than her, higher status than her, etc. On a lot of things, they'll have to settle for "is tall".
/r/MensRights23/05/17 11:23 AM

I wonder if women engineers could design a male bot that is shaped up in the feminist ideal image of a man, but accomplish also turning women on. "He's everything we keep talking about, but I feel like I'm buying a brother..."
/r/MensRights23/05/17 11:15 AM

Yeah someone must havevtaken my male privilege platinum card away as a child. I can never leverage my maleness. "But you are still contributing to the patriarchy, the good old boys club just has you fooled!" In 3, 2, 1...

Knowing their own selves/nature. I feel like men have gained a level of self awareness and introspection the female culture resists embarking on for themselves. I almost feel like its related to our old power moves; ancient man got his way directly with fist and iron, women got their way indirectly with seduction and emotional manipulation. Your average guy doesn't carry the old power of violence around like his father's did, but for some reason too many women are still indirect. I think because…

Awesome, thanks for adding that. I feel I know the cause of the confusion you mentioned. Much of these things come down to the fact that feminism is a power movement. So any notion that focus be on the other side is at best unwanted, at worse, feared. Your friends may see your comments on men's rights as having negative impacts on women.

I kinda thought this too. I consider myself a descent person and have a great reputation at work. But if I were here witnessing this, nobody knowing me, this would so inspire the troll in my heart. I'd ask the person in line behind me to hold my place and I'd slowly approach her and just start staring blankly and making pig noises. No responses in English, only oinks.

Serious question, did people act like this 50 years ago? 100? I don't know what kind of kiss the couple engaged in, but clearly they weren't having sex in line. I just can't picture this behavior flying at a delicatessen in the '40s. I imagine any attempt would inspire a nun or an old tiny baptist lady slapping Christ back into her life from the 3rd sentence.

your story rings true. I've seen this as well. I was thinking just today, about how girls in middle school, unless you're a jock they wanna get with, have a certain kinda bite to their personality. It almost seems like they take those years to test the limits of their power/sexuality, to the detriment of boys who are merely trying to be chill and grow up.

This is so often a point of contention. Like lighting a fuse on a bottle rocket. Start talking about females having any advantage and there's a passionate backlash with many. Makes me wonder, as lovely as she may be, if she saw the perception of her power as a female slipping from the eyes of society, like she thought she had it but a veil lifted. Or perhaps it didn't jive with her daily musings, "guys have everything" thoughts in her head as many have.

The answer to your question, from where I'm standing, is the answer to many questions on this... it's a power movement, not an equality movement. Power movements require obfuscation, subterfuge, seduction (in a manner of speaking), drama, passion, spectacle, pizazz. Logic, consistency, analysis... these are not necessary to a power movement, and in fact, do much to harm it.
/r/MensRights28/03/17 03:59 AM

Yeah I really wish MR was not diluted/skewed at all by alt-right ideology. Just because I believe in father's rights and equality under the law doesn't mean I want "Libtards" torched to death by ISIS.
/r/MensRights28/03/17 03:21 AM
3

Do it. It's been commented that MR won't hold much sway until our dollars do the talking, much like the affluent gays in the late '80s were able to do, what with not having a wife and kids to spend money on. They boycotted and it changed the world.
/r/MensRights28/03/17 03:07 AM
3

I couldn't go near one of those. I'd be too tempted to take the piss out of the whole thing. "Hello, my name is swiss_ch... I can't do this! okay, okay I'm good, I promised I wouldn't fall apart, okay I confess. I have the largest cock ever and it makes girls do whatever I tell them to. What is my pennance?! I must repent!!!!"
/r/MensRights28/03/17 02:51 AM
1

I'd say it's more of a power movement. The passion isn't in and of itself, it is to entice and energize others to the cause, which is simply taking more power, if only in moral superiority, for the time being.

Change would and could only come after men leverage what is called the "gay dollar". In the Gay Rights movement in the '80s gay men had no children and tended to be over-achievers and used their money to boycott and alike. What's difficult for straight men currently is so many women are using their own dollar, as well as their man's to complain/boycott us into this situation. Guy wants to see a dirty harry like movie and she wants to see The Vagina That Saved Manhattan means their seeing her mov…

Sure it does. This is one of those little indirect power plays women use at large to gain power for their side. This is one of those things that end up on lists feminists read into a megaphone when protesting men's rights meetings.

I'm with you on this 100%. As a 35 year old male who has been around the block at least a couple of times I have a few things you should keep in mind when pondering these things. Men have to pursue women: This is only half the story. Truth is, any woman who says she wouldn't ever pursue a man, or that women should never are lying. When a man displays certain fitness indicators it can give the woman tingles and she WILL pursue, but in an extremely indirect way, like touching his arm when talking,…

/r/MensRights02/01/17 08:34 PM

I actually agree with this a lot, but with context. If I meet an average to decently attractive woman right now I wouldn't do much, as I'm not in a position for a relationship and whatnot. So when a woman pursues me I calculate how attracted I am Vs how mature she is. I'll have a FWB or a fling with someone less than ideal in both, but a woman who is both attractive and she has her emotions in order then I'll take a more active role, inviting her to this and that and whatever. Also this bit of t…

Glad I'm not the only one that sees Tyler Durden as kinda sketchy. Manson sounds like David DeAngelo.

What exactly is the mechanism in a woman's head that fires off between her leaving and her coming back all hot and bothered? What is the catalyst that occurs between her hating the man and wanting nothing more than to boink him in a situation like this?

The number one way to increase your attractiveness is to be thin. How does only such a small percentage of women actually get this and face the fact? I would safely assume if I were unemployed and fat and whatnot that no woman is going to seek me out and then find the "beautiful me" on the inside. What's really there instead is a man who had made really bad choices for a really long time. Being fat while pregnant is bad for your child. You should gain a healthy amount while pregnant and not eat …

The best ways for you to help are to use your privilege to amplify women’s voices As a white, blonde, blue eyed male, I have never felt privileged. It makes no sense to, there's so many of me out there I just feel common. And who gives a shit. I don't have some kind of white male card I can swipe that gets me free shit. If there is such a thing people have been hiding it from me well.

The funniest thing is how many women can't stand eachother. I hear the phrase "I don't get along with other girls, never have." more often than I would expect.

There's no difference between cats and dogs. All perceived differences were established by dog dominated society. I hate that I'm told from birth I have to act like a cat. If dogs and cats weren't told what to be, humans couldn't tell us apart. I can prove this because I wrote 5 essays on the topic.

As you say, the real question is, is the rejection in question REAL rejection? As in "I just want to be friends" or is it "I can't go talk to her"? Many men confuse the two.

I'm wondering if she figured you "were a guy" and that you should just handle your shit, and that it wasn't a "real" assault because you could have just body slammed him, and that these kind of complaints should be reserved for "real" Assaults. I wonder if she felt your claim somehow watered down the seriousness of assaults on women. Sorry this happened to you. I wish it was taken as seriously as if a woman claimed it.

OMG, the comments on another article that blog: Stopping the emergence of any more male human beings is essential to the survival and well-being of all females, human and otherwise. Until such a conscious collective (and successful) action is taken, women are spinning their wheels, and the emergence of any more female “cannon fodder” is a tragedy. If we lived on a female planet, I’d be delighted to see my daughter have a precious daughter of her own. As things stand, I can only imagine the horro…
