I remember my ex lied to me for YEARS about how much porn he watched and the fact that he watched port. I couldn't trust him and even til the end I couldn't and he couldn't understand why I didn't trust him. Like you lie to someone for so long and expect them to just be ok with everything. Nah dude.

Ugh this is legit why I've had to stop cOmMuNiCaTiNg with men. There is no point. They always ALWAYS play the victim card. And what's worst is that they look for comfort because "YOU HURT ME". Just no. Communication is useless.

My parents didn't say anything to me other than give me a pad. My school actually taught us this towards the end of primary school. All the girls were taken to a class and spoken about the different methods and all given a free sample of pads and tampons. I think I was lucky to have that and the teaching continued in high school as well, talking about the diva cup and how birth control effects our periods.

This concept was proven to be false anyway. I honestly think it was made up and used now to create an idea that women "expire". Meaning that we only have an amount of time to be a useful broodmare and pop out children to whoever can come get us before the "clock runs out". I know that by 37 eggs become less in quality, but there are always other ways and methods. I myself don't want kids, but it's ridiculous to be told this because it shows that we are only used for breeding.

I feel this so hard! I used to feel like I could be with someone and never marry them and told myself I can wait until he's ready. Now I'm like wtf man, if you ain't wanna marry me, then we are DONE. BYEEEEEE

A red flag for me is being mad at you for small petty things and making you feel bad for it the whole time you're spending together. It's happened too many times and still now at times and I let it affect me so much.

YES YES YES! YOUR TIME IS PRICELESS! TIME IS THE MOST EXPENSIVE THING EVER! So don't waste it on some scrote who can't be bothered to give you a real date.

I feel the exact same way. At first I thought it was me just wanting to pleasure him and make him happy. But now I realise that to do that meant making me not happy and not enjoying sex. It's not that I don't enjoy sex, I do, but now I need to figure out what about it I enjoy. It used to be all about him and now I know that's wrong and I need to work on myself.

Thank you for this. I really needed to hear this right now. I'm still going through the process of ridding myself of the pickmesha habits, but i know everything takes time. I know that we should do things for ourselves, but I'm still in the habit of saying yes even if I want to say no. But I know if I keep going with this I'm not going to get any better.

omg i feel this so hard! It's not even about pregnancy either. Like some of us get period cramps to the point where we pass out from the pain. Should we just go through that because some decides that MeN aNd WoMeN sHoUlD Be TreAtEd tHe SaMe?

I was about to say the same thing. Also relapsing at times is a real thing. A habit is so hard to break when you're still learning the ropes. But with the support of everyone here, it helps to just know that we're all human and we all progress at our own rate.

Yea someone's fee fees were hurt obviously. They just want to silence us into submission because their porn minds need us to be ok with everything they do.

That is disgusting and I hope that more women will come out and tell their stories to increase awareness. Porn is destroying society and it is so sad that men and pickme's are actively promoting this shit. It's destroyed relationships, families and the self esteem of so many women. My heart breaks for your cousin and I hope she gets the help and support around her.

Thank god you're getting away from this LVM. It's disgusting that he did that, and on top of having daughters, he should be ashamed of himself. But obviously so many men will say "OH AS LONG AS SHE'S LEGAL" like fuck off with your paedophilia tendencies.

The thing is, sooo many men on reddit always say ComMuNiCaTe, but I think they don't actually know how to communicate. When we rationally and logically point anything out to them, they take it as a personal attack on THEM. Even in relationships, we can say what boundaries we would have and they would just react. We CoMmuNiCaTeD like they've told us to and where does it get us? Advice like communication is useless unless it's productive, which most of the time with LVM will never be.

I've been working in the corporate world for some time now and I definitely feel this. When pay is spoken about and men find out I earn more, they are so bitter about it and it's so obvious. They start putting down my efforts and my work, and start making it about them. Like honestly, just work harder/better. The worst ones are the ones who either say I slept with the boss, (which holy fuck no you unprofessional dickward) or that WoMeN HaVe An UnFaIr AdVaNtAgE. They think that because there are …

That's so good that they warned you about it! My parents were always worried about whether I looked "good enough" for boys or "I was acting womanly so I can attract the right man." It felt like I was shown that my value was based on what a man thought, not what I thought of myself. On top of that, Instagram models and what you see on TV is just so sexualised and it makes girls think that they need to be "sexy" too, and for me, it made me feel like I needed to be that way to get a man's attention…

This is just ugggghhhh. I have a friend who is absolutely gorgeous. She is one of those girls who love to work out and does a whole bunch of different sports. One day she posted on her isnta story of a guy trashing her and saying she looks like a tranny, and she should "slim down" to be more "sexy". Just ugggh

It's disgusting how society actually grooms girls into thinking that sex work is empowering, let alone ok. It's sad to see that girls really do think it's a world where they think that being the pleasure of men is their value, on top of the fact that this is seen as "easy" money.

Ugh the hobbies thing. I swear, when I tell men about my hobbies, not even OLD, just in general, they completely dismiss it at times. Either that, or just seem like it's so strange and make comments about it. Like, you asked me wtf man.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
