Every single time I post here, I get DMd by some angry scrote who is snooping around. Listen, dudes, I don’t care about your low value bullshit!!!

True conversion I had yesterday: Me: Today is International Women’s Day! Him: Oh yeah? Is there an International Men’s Day? Me: Yes, it’s November 19th... not like it’s well deserved. Women have to worry about being followed, raped or murdered when we do something as simple as go out for a walk, or use a public restroom. We work just as hard as men and statistically earn 23% less. We’re just as smart as men (if not smarter), and can do anything men can do, AND we do it in heels! 👠 Him: Happy Int…

After two months of dating, a man once told me that he paid a dancer at his friend’s Bachelor party so he could have his way with her. He also said, “she wasn’t too happy with that but took the money and did the deed.” I DUMPED him quickly after that news. Disgusting!

Where does the original post say, “no man can make a woman cum”? This is just another LVM making excuses for the fact that he can’t. I know the HVM are confident they can take care of their woman!

Ha! I love “flirting for sport”. Can we advocate to make this an Olympic event?

Telling him you’re dating other people won’t make things better. Date other people for yourself, not him. If he’s not stepping up, just move on. Spend your time and energy on yourself - not some dude, who isn’t giving you the attention you deserve, jealous.

To add to this- I bring a notebook when I go out to the bar. I’ll doodle, write out a grocery list, or just write what I’m feeling at the moment. I don’t usually even write full sentences, as I still want to look approachable. Write a bit, put the pen down and look up a bit. Having this to do definitely lessens the anxiety of being alone at the bar.

My ex husband was entitled to, and took a huge chunk of my 401k. I will never get married again without a prenup. Edit- ...and oh yeah, I paid HIM spousal support during our separation (even though I had full custody of our child). Figure that one out?!

I knew this was going to end up here! What did he think was going to happen? I’m so annoyed at the comments that say she was in the wrong.

When my last relationship was still new(ish), he was obsessed with this specific brand of pita chips. For Christmas, I got him 10 bags. He loved it. Maybe you can think of something inexpensive and thoughtful like that.

I agree. I always swipe left on dudes that say, “No drama.” I strongly believe that a man brings on “drama” from women because he isn’t treating her the way she deserves, and she decides to speak up about it.

Yep, I’ve found this is very common. I shut it down quickly. Such a turnoff.

That was seriously over the top. I would have blocked him, too. Generally, I find that a lot of guys want to bring up their ex’s on first dates. I mitigate the situation by smiling and politely and maybe even flirtatiously say, “Hey, I’m here to get to know you, not your ex.” I’ve never had a bad reaction to that. I don’t know when talking about ex’s so soon became the norm. I think it’s tacky.

The your/you’re thing gets me too. Ha! Right, he should be man enough to pursue, not give up. I’ve been almost tempted to text him back and tell him that I was actually looking forward to this weekend, but I don’t think it’s worth it. Low value, for sure. Major turn-off.

Would have been funny if you just wrote back, “*you’re”. What an entitled prick. Block and move on. You deserve way better than this shit.

Hi Ladies! I matched with a guy OLD 2 weeks ago. I was definitely interested in meeting him, but I have had a lot going on the last few weeks. We have been texting each other intermittently, and have sent a few snaps. Friday night, he was texting me about some stress at work. I texted him back some sweet encouraging words. He responded Saturday afternoon thanking me for caring. Saturday, I was busy with finishing last minute details for my sister’s bridal shower. Sunday was the shower. Frankly, …

I don’t think you should scrap it. I think you should work it into conversation. Say, “I was feeling impulsive and bought my ticket to Cancun. I’ve since realized that’s not something I can really do.” If he’s a high effort dude, he’ll take over the conversation and all will be ok. Even if he decides that he can’t afford trips often, but still treats you like a queen locally, you’re all good.

I think genuine connection comes with time. A lot of the content on this sub is to help remind us ladies that we need to differentiate that initial physical connection from a genuine one that may be built later. We need to protect our hearts from low value, low effort men. We may be attracted physically to someone right away, but if we give them our hearts and our bodies just to find out they aren’t willing to invest their time and resources in us, they will just string us on and ultimately leav…

Thank you for creating this alternative sub. Let’s get that dumb bullshit these idiots are posting off of here and keep using this platform to lift each other’s up! Mods, kudos to you. I’m so sorry you’re being DMd such horrible things.

This dude is explaining my life for the past THREE YEARS! I haven’t talked to low effort guy in a few days thanks to this sub. Every time I want to text him, I come here for a little empowerment instead. I’m trying to stay strong so a few days will ultimately turn into bye boy, forever. I (we all) deserve better. You ladies are amazing!

Don’t be afraid to vocalize what you like and don’t like. Most guys appreciate when you give a little direction when needed. Also, be sure to tell them when something feels good, too! Enjoy and use a condom!

Thank you for your kind words and advice. I’m really dreading the dating app, but I’m going to do it. I’ll definitely post about how it’s going. Ladies on this sub are so supportive and I’m going to need all the support I can get.

You’re very right. I do get angry and he just says I’m tripping for no reason. He honestly believes there is nothing wrong with his low effort. I deserve better.

Thank you. I know I need to let him go. It’s definitely not going to work between us. I dread getting back on dating sites. But, it may be a necessary evil. I work from home, all my friends are married and I’m a full time single mom. It’s very difficult for me to get out and meet people. I’m currently going to therapy, working on self-care. Wish me luck. I just need to toughen up and follow through.

Yes, my fwb. I say (hardly any) bc I feel like I’m not getting much of anything I need from him lately. He says he wants a relationship, but he doesn’t want it to be with me because he needs me to be more chill. It’s a word he uses on almost a daily basis. A good example of what he means is he that I shouldn’t need him to bring me soup and sit with me when I’m not feeling well bc it’s not convenient for him. He only carves out time for me when it’s convenient for him, but I’ll jump through hoops…

Just sent this list to my fw(not very many)b of the last 3 years. He’s always telling me he doesn’t want a relationship with me bc I need to be more chill. Needless to say, all hell broke loose. (https://imgur.com/a/UY9SAo8)
