Wise words. I got told the same by an ex whenever I refused him to pay for me. He was a mega player so he knew what he was talking about.

She couldn't be any more on point. Many times, once a guy gets the woman he wants, he tends to drop any effort and he's now someone else.

Yeah it's just not logical, it's like he's texting a pal of his.

I just searched it and some messages he sent her are extremely disturbing. He literally told her he wants to chop her in pieces and have sex with the pieces & some other cannibalistic stuff. Some men's fantasies have no boundaries.

How dare she? he can't take her for granted anymore /s

His messages are kinda low effort, at least he should have asked the reason or be more well thought if he decided to text again.

When guys do that they want to make you pity them and to make you feel like they think you're special to them. In return, you are more easily to give them intimacy and get tricked into forgiving his wrongdoings with the excuse that he's traumatised so it's "not intentional"

This reminded me of when I got sexually harassed in the bus. I wanted to start screaming but I was scared people would call me crazy or ignore me. This hits home

Many women nowadays end up in situationships and they give sex just to please the guy they like, in hope of having more chances with him. Hookup culture has made it easier for men to get what they want and drag women along and take them for granted, while giving minimal effort and only viewing them as sex dolls.

Lol exactly ! had a friend who dated a disabled older guy and he isolated her. He wanted her to leave everything and take care of him exclusively. He made her cut off with me. In a few months, she had changed a lot as a person (for the worse)

They're using false facts to promote certain beauty standards which are unhealthy and unrealistic. I'm tired of hearing "men are visual creatures". So are we, but society supports a good looking girl with a bad looking dude, the opposite is rare and criticised

The last one seems very abusive. Isolation is done by abusers almost every time. I hope she didn't have any bruise marks on her, next time you see her please try to look on her uncovered skin areas.

Try to work on your trauma and self esteem first. If you consider dating again, get educated on manipulation tactics and red flags. Take your time. You deserve the best

This. I gave my number to a dude from an app, he checked my number in my phone provider's catalogue and found personal info about me that I didn't know was public, like my exact adress, my full name and my father's name. Beware.

Yeah in my old school guys could take their t shirts off in class to change after PE. But during an event, a girl was wearing a costume that had a crop top that wasn't even revealing and the teachers scolded her.

What was a good catch about him? I've had pick me friends encourage me to be a rebound to a guy because "I shouldn't be alone". What's up with that logic

They also use this as an excuse to belittle women's bodies. "Science proves that men like this x body type cause it's more fertile"

It is hard to put it in your subconscious cause our whole lives we are programmed differently every single day. I got advised by a kind older woman to write positive phrases on the mirror and read them when I walk by it.

Yeah they call us "the weak sex". They were raised in a society where they were taught to be entitled and to have high standards and we women have a duty to obey. I see so many families who have boys and girls as children and the girls are treated like maids or are considered stupid and inferior. The girl isn't allowed to date but the boy is. The girl is supposed to help with the housework but the boy shouldn't cause that's not a man's responsibility. I had a friend who went to study education i…

Thank you. I also have given up on dating apps cause I only met guys who use flirting methods like negging etc. And they mainly want casual stuff. I got played a billion times. One guy had a girlfriend but was on the app, another one kept telling me we will go out and he suprisingly never had time for me but he was always up for sexting.. I found myself putting up with lots of things that looking back, no woman should.

This is insensitive. If a woman does that she'll be considered crazy and inappropriate.

I eeked when he said "some guys would have an issue with that but I won't judge". He basically said "other men won't date you for that cause it's horrible, but I would tolerate it" It's like saying "you're ugly but you're beautiful to me".

This. Hating each other makes it easier for men who want to treat us like trash. I'm tired of seeing ladies fight for men who aren't even worth a potato

This. BDSM is very trendy. Many in these generations will most likely not experience romantic intimacy. It's not what they've been taught.

I am a Christian orthodox and I think every person is valuable but not everyone's path and morals match mine. I got advised by a nun not to trust men cause many of them tend to play games and then leave. She said she and her childhood friends decided to devote to God from an early age and they didn't want to get married and start a family.

That's what I was about to comment. No love bombing or pity trap ,which means if he opens and over shares traumas early on it's a red flag that he's trying to make you feel sorry for him. He targets your empathy and you will feel like you want to fix him and you will be willing to blame his trauma for anything bad he does to you and forgive him.

I think they feel like a good looking woman would have more competition, so they fear losing her. Most of the time they want her in order to brag to their friends. In the end they will manipulate her and neg her in a more subtle way.

I had a guy in a class who spoke about his girlfriend like that. He thought nothing was wrong with it and he even considered himself a great boyfriend for dumb reasons like "I post pictures with my girlfriend, most guys don't do that on social media, it means I show appreciation"

Just try to actually better yourselves. If a guy has a bad past but has decided to change it, it will show and it will be forgivable. If you just try to hide things, at some point something will slip.. Also the 6 rule isn't much realistic. A guy can be HVM and still make an average wage, have an average appearance etc.

They brush it off as "it is inequality" but they don't say anything when it comes to inequality in sex, where it is often the man who only cares about his pleasure. I'm tired of hearing "Women have it better cause they can get free dinner and free drinks, this is unfair, we live in the 21st century, we should split the bill" Well, it is socially acceptable to only care about your pp when it comes to sex, I don't hear any complains about inequality now.

Sex has turned into a stress and violence relief thing because it is trendy to do so. Where's the love? The romance?

In my high school, every girl who had an older boyfriend was considered cool and mature. When I reacher those guys' age and saw the real reason they go after younger girls I was like meh. The younger, the easier most girls are to manipulate. Especially if they have issues at home or their parents aren't that close with them.
