What the hell does “after dinner” even mean?

I was texting (very briefly) with an attractive 35 year old man from OLD. I said to him “It’s so cold today!!” And he replied “HAHAHA. Your blood has thinned out since you moved, you pussy.”

Over 50? I would avoid age- gapping "up." Older men are not higher value. They were generally raised with even more retrograde values and-- if they're on OLD-- are availing themselves of all the modern character-melting fuckery like streaming porn on top of it.

If he's more than a few years older than you, it's a negative filter letting in pervs. If he's actually high value, he's dating exclusively in his own age range and is widowed, not divorced (unless he was cruelly cheated on-- rare).

It’s not FDS to take a guy’s number, and it’s also not recommended that you text with your private phone before the first date. If you met on an app then message there until the first date at least.

Also, there’s no need to text back once a man sends low effort or mixed messages, just ignore or block. If it was a mistake, a HVM will clarify that and apologize quickly. Once he’s been established as a LVM, there’s no need to waste time or energy on him.

They do, and you just proved it.

We need to realize that for guys, success isn't always about getting a date. They're perfectly happy with the occasional text, orbiting behavior, or even the knowledge that they pissed us off. It's not about an "endgame" for a lot of men, it's about knowing we exist in the periphery whenever they're lonely, have no "better" options, and feel like reaching out for a minute.

You broke the cycle by blocking him, but he still feels the "win" knowing he got under your skin. Because the anger of a woman who doesn't play their game is like a secondary prize to them.

Side note: The blatant ignoring your texts and insisting on waiting until "after dinner" implies he had someone with him at dinnertime. Possibly a wife or girlfriend. He could've been polite with "hey, I'm busy at the moment, I'll reach out later," but it sounds like he only had time to get in a quick text before his companion caught him on his phone.
