I have all of these with the exception of The Rational Male. I second this list. Get No More Mr. Nice Guy first though. That book will really open your eyes and teach you assertiveness and how to reclaim your masculinity, if that is something you struggle with. I can't recommend it enough.

Why does she get to keep the dog?

Just asked this question the other day. The answer is yes. Be a mature adult about the situation, overcome your feelings, and everything should be fine. I was in the same boat, and the situation gets better with time. Edit: To OP, since you don't have to see her within a social circle, I don't recommend seeing her at all. It's just not a good idea.

Got it. Thank you. Out of curiosity, how do they react when you ask them?

Obviously. That is what I am trying to do. My last girlfriend was 24 but didn't look old enough to drink, to put it into perspective. I am not interested in going to jail or worse.

Thank you for your reply. Makes sense. I was confused because I thought it was super beta to be her friend and be in the friend zone...that's where I was struggling.

Thank you for posting this. I'm going to a club for the first time this weekend. Any more pointers are appreciated (especially with dancing, because I can't dance for shit). Wish me luck.

Guys who are anti drinking while simultaneously playing bar game are the lowest form of loser I can think of. As a guy that doesn't drink (not against alcohol, I just don't like to drink) or go to bars, I'm genuinely failing to understand this one. Care to elaborate?

Never been to a club, but if it were me I would just approach another girl and then go back to her later if things aren't going well with the second one. I wouldn't just stand around and wait for her. If this isn't the correct way to go about it, someone feel free to chime in.

I generally don't, but a lot of women go there to be seen (guys too). If they have their headphones in, don't approach. If they don't, go for it. You really don't have anything to lose anyway. At worst you gain experience. There really isn't a right or wrong answer.

Sure thing. I will later, at work at the moment. Thanks.

That's awesome. Most of the time I see a Tinder thread on this subreddit its about how you shouldn't use it. I've downloaded it but haven't had any luck, personally. Any suggestions?

I don't really have much to add except for thank you. I really don't feel like going into my own story, but I needed a post like this, so again, thanks.

I would seriously just drop contact with her permanently and move on if she is treating you that way. No one worth your time should be doing that to you.

Not entirely relevant to the thread, but I am sorry for what happened to you. That fucking blows, especially her introducing you to that guy.

Anti-Slut Defense. I don't know how to explain it very well, but it should be in the sidebar.

Models by Mark Manson and No More Mr. Nice Guy by Robert Glover. Edit: the second one is more about reclaiming your masculinity, not necessarily game-related. Models is more about how to interact with women.

I have to agree with this. It's one thing if he just made a move and didn't know your interest in the girl. If that is the case then you (OP) made the mistake of not pursuing her before he did. Now if he made a move, fully knowing how you feel in regards to this girl, then he's a dickhead and I certainly wouldn't call someone like that a friend. Either way, you need an abundance mentality. There are more women out there than this chick you have a crush on. Pursue other women.

Thank you all for your input. Your step three resonated with me the most. I think that's the core of my issue. Thanks again.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
