That is basically what Mark Manson says about showing vulnerabilities and not being afraid of yourself. Women get emotionally excited if you expose your weaknesses. But you have to own it.

I agree with your main point but this:
Mike was hesitant about this approach because it felt like he was admitting that he did the wrong thing. That he would be exposing a weakness... thus making the others see him as a weak person.
Makes no sense. Where was he wrong to divorce his ex?

I’m with you this post is stupid. So much unnecessary writing when you could just simplify it to this - never lose your cool around women/people in general even if your mind is telling you to be defensive. Handling a person who wants you to get defensive with calm is not only impressive but women love the confidence and calmness and will know if shit ever hits the fan you’ll know how to handle it properly.
