Does she really think having lots of sex guarantees she is better at it. A had a girlfriend who was an escort for a while (long, awful story). Anyway she was beautiful but really nothing special in bed. For the most part very vanilla and did not want to do certain things (e.g cowgirl position) because it reminded her of 'work'. I have had far better lays from normal women.

Telling people you don’t know to smile is not ‘spreading positivity’. It’s ridiculous behaviour.

You're only 'creepy' when you're uncomfortable. Think Russell Brand talking about sex. He completely owns what he is saying and is comfortable with it. Try and own it in the same way when you're flirting with a girl or telling her how you feel.

Even after a great interaction, you're still a stranger that the girl talked to for five minutes. You need to remind her that you're fun and that you shared a good moment. Texts can help to do that.

Firstly, it's pretty normal for girls not to text back - even after a great interaction. But you should be getting some responses at least. Sounds like you really need to work on your text game. You need to make your texts, fun, playful and a little mysterious. The example text you mentioned is boring as fuck. Try referring to some joke you made when you were with her, give her a nickname and use it in the text, all the classic flirty stuff. Secondly, maybe they're not getting attracted to you e…

If you're getting reactions like "go away", you're doing something wrong in your approach. How are you approaching girls?

The best way is to actually stand in front of her and block her path. A lot of the time Her natural instinct will be to just keep walking. The other thing you can do is walk by her side, get in front of her and point backwards behind both of you while you're saying "I was just over there and I saw you..". When she sees you point, she will naturally stop and look back because she thinks you are going to say she dropped something. The first method is more effective. Both of these need confidence t…

You can have the coolest life, great looks, and all the talents in the world. But if you don't have confidence and approach skills, it's like having a Ferrari without an ignition. Take it from me, I've been there. I was always a cool, funny guy with a good social life, hobbies and stuff. But until I got confidence with women, they didn't give a shit. When I did get the confidence, magical things started to happen. I know the answer is inner game and I've read a lot of posts about that This is tr…

I had a first date with a girl the other day. She's a bit of a princess but I kissed her half way through. She says 'I don't normally kiss on the first date'! So there you go. It doesn't matter what the girls say, just do it.

Chances are you're doing something to give her 'I like you vibes'. If she really keeps bringing her non-existent boyfriend at weird times, bust on her for it. "You know what...call me crazy but I'm starting to think you have a boyfriend". If everyone laughs, she will look stupid. If no one laughs, you're the only one she is saying the boyfriend stuff to.

Run up and say 'hey you're so cute I had to say hello'. Then just start talking before she has a chance to think. That's very important. Make statements not questions if possible : "you look like you are really enjoying the sun today". If you haven't done this before you are probably going to be awkward and creep them out. Just keep doing it, it gets easier.

Used to happen to me a lot when I was younger due to nerves/drunkenness. To be honest, girls don't really care. If a girl like you enough to get naked with you, she generally likes you as a person and will be understanding.

Women will never stop using sex to get love. That's their natural instinct too. I don't mean that in any kind of judgemental way - but women instinctively know that they have to show their value as a sexual partner in order to get a man to stay.

Complaining never helps. Just take your attention away from her.
/r/seduction02/04/15 12:09 PM

Many newbies make the mistake of reading loads of seduction material. This is actually harmful to you. You want to learn a little bit at a time and then go and apply it. No 'seduction technique' will work until you are comfortable talking to women. So work on that first. You need to gradually desensitise yourself to approaching until it becomes normal for you. This is a really hard thing to do - it took me nearly 2 years to get comfortable. But it's totally worth it.

Totally agree with everything you say. Online the odds are against you. In fact, in almost every situation, the odds are against you. The exception is in the day time in public. Work on your cold approach skills.

Glad you agree. I have heard people say this before, but I never believed it until I experienced it myself. You really can be attractive to women by saying a single fucking word, if your energy is right.
/r/seduction01/04/15 12:52 AM

Women are emotional mirrors. If you are uncomfortable, they will be uncomfortable. If you are comfortable, you can say almost anything. I have told women within 15 seconds of meeting them that I saw them and I was imagining making out with them - and I have walked away with their number. The normal guy doesn't believe this is possible because he thinks women work the same way he does. He thinks it's all about looks. Women don't work like that. They are tuned into confidence. In the same way you …

No offence but you are just like the writer of this article - you don't know what you're talking about. If you actually put the work in and do hundreds or thousands of approaches, your results are very different. It's all in your energy. 9/10 women I talk to are happy to be talking to me because I am comfortable and I give off the right energy. You think it's about looks? It wasn't too long ago that 9/10 girls walked away from me. So it's not about looks. It's about behaviour.

Another fucking useless article on approach anxiety and approaching, probably written by someone who has never done it. "Approach when it feels natural"? Newsflash: if you're not comfortable approaching it won't ever feel natural. "Cold approach is emotionally draining"? Yes of course it is, at first. So is going to a job interview. So what? Being lonely and frustrated is pretty draining too, that's why guys decide to start approaching. I approach girls in the day all the time and let me tell yo…

No, men do not have a bigger sex drive than women. No, men are not looking for relationships by default. It's in our DNA to seek sex primarily. Crap article.
/r/seduction31/03/15 05:57 AM
2

You can learn from this. Try and figure out what he did that you didn't. It sounds like you were trying hard to impress this girl, while the other guy didn't seem like he was trying. So he looked higher value than you. We all get caught in the trap of trying too hard some times, but maybe that's where you fucked up. Go and attract more girls, then you can concentrate on the ones who see your value and are coming after you.
/r/seduction30/03/15 07:47 PM

This is a great example of how women see an interaction: they don't really register the information exchanged (even though they are taking it in), but they do register how they feel when they are talking to you. If they feel good when they are talking to you, they will feel a connection. This is the most important thing to learn: it's all about your energy when you are talking to a girl. You can say the stupidest things, you can fuck up, you can switch topics at random, you can talk about sex, y…

You can totally interrupt people. I talk to girls with headphones on all the time. You can actually say to a girl 'you shouldn't wear headphones in public, it makes it really hard for guys to hit on you'. Gets a nice smile out of them.

You should try taking an improv class. Am doing this at the moment, it's great. It will loosen you up to playing along.

Other people in this thread are wrong when they say you're flirting just by making her laugh. Flirting is a power play. It involves sexual sub-communication. If you tease or say something sexual to a girl and she goes along with it, she is being submissive to you. This is often funny because you have to do it by saying things that don't really make sense. Look up David DeAngelo's 'cocky funny humour'. That is everything you need to know about flirting.

Asking for the number/date before you know anything about her makes you look low-value. You might get lucky here and there but you will do better be actually stopping and talking to her. Having said that, this might be good as a confidence building exercise.

I watched the start of it. The guy had instant attraction from the word go. That happens sometimes, no matter how good or bad you are. And when it happens, it's just a case of not fucking it up. An honest compliment can sometimes get you into conversation with 'yes' girls but it's not the best opener. OP, using compliments is good as an exercise if you want to get used to saying stuff to strangers. You can always give a compliment and walk away.

Dress up kinda slutty. Wear some tight jeans and heels - even if you are not hot, some guys will think you are DTF and that will be enough for them. Go to the bar, preferably alone or with a less attractive friend. Do not sit down or stand in a semi-circle of girls with your back to the crowd. Have a couple of drinks to calm your nerves. Try to avoid standing there looking at your phone, as some guys will assume you're busy texting. If you can, look out at the crowd - you can even look above peo…

I'll tell you something I used to do years ago, it's kinda lame but it does work. Get a bit drunk with her. Start taking selfies of you and her on your phone/camera. Take one with you kissing her cheek. Then point to your cheek so she kisses it for the next photo. Then point to your lips for the next photo. It's an easy way to escalate with an 'excuse'. But it is a pussy move. Now when I go for the kiss I just grab the girl and pull her into me. Works every time and it turns them on.

I've read it. I don't think there's really any practical info in it that the newbie can apply. David is obviously something of a natural that genuinely does not give a fuck and sees himself as above women. We would all like that mindset but it's not gained easily. That said, this book is great if you basically want to see inside the mind of a 'badboy'.

I'm not sure what you mean. You have said you don't want to see her but she doesn't believe you? I would just tell her that you honestly don't like her in a romantic way. I would back off from the texts but don't have to ignore her unless she genuinely won't leave you alone. Let her down gently.

The reality is that, as men, it's in our DNA to objectify women. We see an attractive woman, we want to fuck them. It's no different to seeing a sandwhich and wanting to eat it. People just don't want to accept this is fact, but at the end of the day, we are animals. And we live in a culture where sex is thrown in our faces 24/7, which doesn't help.

You're right. You're not shallow. It is perfectly fine that you want to be sexually attracted to the people you date. And yes that is the point of Tinder - people are judging everything based on looks. Don't take it personally. Experiment with different photos, bio text. It does make a difference. Even better, get out there and start talking to women in real life. Personally I quit Tinder because it was far too easy to date mediocre girls on there, but never any really hot ones. /r/seduction05/03/15 10:50 PM

Disagree. I think there are plenty of men that get into game precisely because they aren't good with women, despite living attractive lives. To quote Mark Manson, who everyone on here worships: You can have the coolest and most successful guy in the world, but if he doesn't know how to pursue a woman than he'll get no results. Lifestyle makes everything easier but it doesn't get the job done for you. It gives you opportunities but you still have to learn how to capitalize on those opportunities.

I mean your body has a reaction similar to if you were in mortal danger, like you were being threatened by a wild animal or scary person. When this happens, the blood flows to the 'lizard brain' part of your brain, it is not flowing in the 'higher reasoning' parts of your brain. And although I'm not a scientist, I think that is why trying to think your way through Approach Anxiety doesn't work.

First, it matters internally. If you are in shape, have money, a good education, an impressive social life, interesting hobbies, you will radiate happiness, security and confidence. A successful man will behave differently than an unsuccessful man, and his behavior will be much more attractive to women because of what is happening internally. I'm sure there's some truth in that. And yet I see posts on r/seduction every day from guys who are in shape, good looking, social, have a good job etc and…

Beating approach anxiety is hard. Your brain and body goes into 'survival' mode and there's really nothing you can think that will help. The only way to beat AA is to gradually desensitise yourself in small steps. I've done this myself and it works. Here's roughly how you do it: Step 1: get next to her Step 2: same as above, but ask an innocent question ('how is the food here?') Step 3: same as above but stay longer by asking follow up questions ('is it worth the money? What would you recommend?'…

Well, I'm not saying completely ignore her. You don't want to look like you're annoyed. Just go quiet, reply to texts sparsely. And don't meet up with her. There's always a risk it won't work but you have to try something. If girls see you as friends you're pretty fucked. It's just the way they work. Don't let it go down that road.
/r/seduction04/03/15 07:26 PM

I think she is friendzoning you and just using you for validation. Though it's quite possible she does like you a bit. If I was you, I would suddenly go off the radar for a couple of weeks. Dont meet up with her. Communicate very sparsely. Basically make her wonder if she has fucked up and has lost you to someone else. You need to regain control. Being easily available will not help you do that. Be a challenge.

This girl sounds very motherly (which makes sense if she is a mother). I dated a girl who was like that for a while, she is great. It does sound like she sees you as a potential boyfriend but Im still worried you're heading for the friend-zone. Please tell me you made a move physically!

Dude, you sure are a magnet for some crazy chicks! I agree people do have trust issues but this was a flat-out friendzoning. Those were undoubtedly some strong signals she was giving you before though. Did you try to make out with her or anything? /r/seduction25/02/15 08:57 AM

Yeah. Remember your intentions are actually good so if you are creeping a girl out its only an accident. It's not your fault that some girls will get creeped out over absolutely nothing. Another thing you can do is be open about your nervousness. Say 'I feel really awkward saying this but you are so cute' etc etc.
/r/seduction25/02/15 08:13 AM

Again, this is specific to direct approaches. I don't have a problem talking on dates etc. I guess I'm talking about getting the set to 'hook' or maintaining the attraction I get with the initial approach. It is so easy to lose the energy.

I wouldn't say that's my problem, I've been a very social guy all my life. But the dynamic of a direct approach is very different to a normal interaction. Anyone who has actually done it knows that.

First of all, I would read some of the threads where women have been asked about this in askreddit.. There are plenty of women who say they like it when a guy has the balls to approach them in the day. In fact, I think someone posted a Vice article here last week where the female author said exactly that. You also need to bear this in mind: you are approaching women in broad daylight, in a public place, surrounded (sometimes) by other people. There literally could not be a safer scenario for the…

Dude, you just need to start off by treating the girls that you want to have relationships EXACTLY the same as you the ones you fuck. Girls you are fucking always want a relationship eventually. But when you say to a girl early on that you want to take her on some 'proper' date, it can feel like you're moving too fast. Just bang her a few times and then ask her on the salsa dates etc.

You can tell them that you like them - it's not giving away your power if you do it in the right way. If you see a girl sitting on a bench and you say 'hey you are so cute I had to meet you', that is not giving your power away, it's being bold and shameless. However, I wouldn't do that in the middle of a conversation (or in a bar/club). Girls like guys that have social intelligence, i.e guys that can read sub-communication and use it themselves. So often the best way to show a girl you like her …

Dude, here's a really important piece of advice: do not spend your time studying lots of pickup material. Learn ONE new thing at a time and then go try it out. Doing lots of studying makes you overthink and actually makes everything harder. You should spend 3 hours practicing for every 1 hour you spend reading.

All the talk of mindset in this thread is pretty useless. You can think all these great thoughts about your mindset, but if you have bad approach anxiety, they all disappear when you need them the most. Approach Anxiety is a physical reaction in your body. You are experiencing a danger response in the most primitive part of your brain that says 'GTFO now!' That is why logical thinking makes no difference at that point. Your survival instinct has taken over. OP, what you need to is gradually dese…

Yeah I'm not taking about catcalling, I mean a legitimate 'pickup' conversation. I should have said 'daytime' not public. If you think about it logically, the day time is the best time to meet women. Unlike at nighttime they are usually alone, so you don't have to deal with friends who might cockblock you. Women don't have their guard up from being approached by drunk idiots all night in the day. You can hear what girls are saying unlike in loud bars. You can get close to proper hotties in the day time. Think of the hottest girl in the bar or club. She is surrounded by guys all night and you can't get near her. Wel…

It's not really shocking that you can meet someone you like without 'game' - all of our ancestors hooked up without it! Its good for you that you hooked up with a girl without trying. There's no question that people are attracted to positive energy. But if you don't get that luck again, or you're one of those guys that doesn't enjoy being in clubs, you're gonna be right back to needing game. Personally, this is why I don't like clubs. I really think the fear of asking for numbers is like approach anxiety - the only way to get over it is to keep doing it. I often ask girls for numbers even when I don't want them, just to make sure Im never afraid to ask. Here's the thing: you don't need to worry about getting rejected. If the girl doesn't want to give you her number, she will either give you a fake number or say she has a boyfriend. They will very rarely say no.

That's interesting, good to hear a female POV. I like to think when I tell a girl 'hey I thought you were cute so I wanted to meet you' she knows I am just curious about her because she is attractive. Does that thought ever occur to you, or do you always think they are propositioning you for sex?

You sound like someone who has studied a lot of 'pua' material without every trying it. In a sense you are right. But on the other hand, women can often sense when you are trying to impress them with game. All this says about you is 'this guy doesn't think he is good enough to get me'. Direct approaches are good because they show you are honest, no-bullshit and not afraid to take a risk. They don't give your value away - but repeatedly complimenting her does.

Lol remember my first tip - don't try and do too much at once. Actually the most important thing on a date is to be present. If you are continuously thinking about your next move, you won't be good company. So just pick one thing and evaluate how well it worked afterwards. Looks like she is interested yes. I have loads of tips for you. First tip is this: don't try and learn too many techniques at one time. Lots of guys in this community think they have to study PUA material a lot before they use it. This is actually bad for you. Try ONE of these things next time you're on a date: 1- Being dominant This is subtle but just be very decisive throughout the night and tell her what to do.Say 'ok I'm getting the drinks, you go find a table for us to sit at'. This girl knows nothing about you except you don't have a date on Valentine's day, and you're not interested in her enough to stick around and talk to her. Cool. You can combine it with meditation - I do 5 minutes meditation followed by 5 minutes of the above. Another thing you can do is make a list of attributes you think a person should have. I.e the kind of attributes you would want to see in the person you want to be. My list says things like 'somebody who works hard on his goals' and 'somebody who does things he is afraid of', and 'somebody who is kind'. You can then consciously go through that list every day and see how many things you are do…

There are still things you can do. Hit the self help books. You also need to train your mind to look for the good in yourself. I think that's really important. People train their bodies religiously but dedicate so little time to training their minds. But your mindset is what is going to make you happy. Take 10 minutes out of each day to stop and tell yourself you're awesome. But look for specific things that show that you are awesome. Do this for 5 mins in the morning and 5 at night. It helps.

If your confidence and self-image is that bad, you definitely need to work on it. I highly recommend therapy having done it myself. In order to fix your self esteem problems you need to challenge your faulty beliefs. This is where therapy comes in, because you usually cannot identify them yourself. However, you also need to keep confronting your demons and pushing through your comfort zone - not just in pickup but all of life. That helps you challenge your faulty beliefs. That is how you develop…

The need for validation is a hole that can never be filled. Don't give up love for some un-ending series of meaningless ego boosts. But here's a reality check: dude, 4 dates is nothing. There is nothing creepy about a guy who asserts himself with women. It is our job as men to make the first move. Creepy is when the guy isn't comfortable with what he's doing, when he is awkward or embarrassed and he speaks quietly. So once you gain some confidence doing this, it's very hard to be creepy.

Being 'safe' with women gets you nowhere. It is better to have 5 women hate you and 5 women love you than have 10 be 'meh' about you. Start being bold. So in an ideal world you want her to see you with a hot girl. Other than that, all you can do is make yourself scarce, wait a while and re-initiate. When you re-initiate, either send her something fun and flirty or just go balls-out and ask her out again. You want to avoid doing anything that a guy with no options would do. Two options: Go and make nice conversation and try and flirt with her. (low risk but probably lots of guys will do this) Go balls out and just tell her straight off the bat she is sexy as hell. (high risk of rejection but high reward) Option 2 is better in some ways because probably very few guys there will have the balls to do it. But you have to do it loud and proud and cool and confident, otherwise you will look creepy.

Teasing can be great for amping things up. But be aware: trying too hard to tease can make you look like you are trying to win her over. Plus, every guy with half an ounce of game will tease girls. So pretty girls get flirted with constantly. So teasing is good but it's only one string in your bow. If you really want to stand out, be bold and take risks in conversation. If you only kissed at the end of the date, you need to brush up on your dating skills. When I'm on a date I usually make out with the girl half way through the night. I will do my damnedest to get her turned on so we go home together on the first date. Girls like a guy who can lead - so you should do this whether you want a one night stand or a relationship. I think it's quite possible this girl was just horny - you met her on Tinder after all - and you didn't move things along quickly enough.

Playing games is always risky. In this hypothetical situation, you could have also made out with the girl, taken her home and slept with her. Sex and intimacy will get you ahead of the other guys way better than any mind game will.
/r/seduction09/02/15 03:57 PM

Fuck that. Women know what they are doing when they blow you like crazy at the start of a relationship. They're playing their strongest hand when it comes to keeping a guy they like. And it works! Don't get mad at a guy for being a guy.

Good for you man. This girl sounds like a pain in the ass. Why would she ask you to get in bed with her like that? She has issues.
/r/seduction09/02/15 11:35 AM

You're not failing it. You're still in the game. If she really didn't like you why is she texting you still? Play her at her own game. Make her worry that she has lost you. Complaining to her, getting angry, trying to talk her round will not work. The other possibility is she just wants some validation. I would keep looking for other girls, this one sounds like hard work.

Girls will say on the surface that they don't want a player. But actually what women are attracted to is the traits of the most attractive men, ie men who are successfull and good with women. I've had this happen before - it's actually a good sign. The correct way to deal with this girl is to show her that you don't really care what her opinion of you is or whether she fucks you or not. And you also have to show you're willing to lose her. 'Ok if you don't want to sleep with me, that's fine. I l…

Either she was trying to gauge your interest, or she was trying to show you she wasn't interested beyond being friends. Getting a lot of smiles and laughs from a girl isn't the be all and end all. Every guy does that when he is hitting on a girl, so pretty girls get flirted with all day. It doesn't mean she's gonna fuck you. Maybe this girl likes you a bit, but you've got to play a weak hand here. You need to do something bold if you want to date this girl. Fuck the skiing. Show her you're inter…

I replied to this argument in another comment. You are sort of right, but OP doesn't have to keep swiping 100 guys a day. This one has 'ego boost' written all over it.

I understand why a women is looking for a guy that stands out. I'm just saying she's not doing herself any favours filtering men in that way. Let's look at two hypothetical men. Man 1 is an attractive guy with genuine confidence. He can meet women in real life, but he dabbles with Tinder for fun, or to see what all the fuss is about. Man 2 is a guy who struggles to attract women in real life. He doesn't have the confidence to approach, so Tinder is his only way meet women. Which one of these guy…

The point of Tinder is to meet someone you like. You saw a guy you think is attractive, you liked his profile. Why not give him a chance instead of writing him off over something completely trivial. I mean the 'not standing next to an object' thing is just weird. I'm a 6ft tall guy and it would never even occur to me that I need to prove my height, I would just choose the best pictures of me.
/r/seduction07/02/15 05:39 PM

More fool you if you are really like this, OP. One of these guys could be the love of your life, the perfect man for you, but you blow the opportunity because the guy only said 'hey'. Have you considered that maybe it's a good thing that the guy isn't a 'Tinder pro' who spends his time writing the perfect opener?

That's cool man, you did the right thing taking her home then. Try her again then. Sometimes these shy girls are really not worth the effort though. I got with the shyest girl ever a little while back, and it was the worst sex of my life.

No, you should have got her number. Sometimes girls will initiate contact, but it's pretty rare.
/r/seduction07/02/15 09:55 AM

It's quite possible she did mean it in that moment, but I think you turned it round. The reason it you shouldn't ask her is that you shouldn't need to. You can tell if a girl likes you by the way she acts with you. It also makes you look a bit needy, like you are trying to win her over. Why were you walking her home anyway? I would leave it a week and ask her out again.

You should always try to move things along quickly. Whether your goal is just to get laid or make her your girlfriend, moving things along physically is the way to get ahead of the other guys. But at the same time, you don't want to seem desperate and you have to understand that not every girl will bang on the first date. Women will forgive you for moving too fast, but they will lose attraction if you are a pussy. So take a risk. Try the caveman move I talked about. I can't remember the last tim…

Yes I think she does have some interest. To be honest, you probably would have been better not replying to her text at all. You want her wondering if she has fucked it up with you, not the other way around. This girl is a bit of a player - you might have turned it around but you have to proceed really carefully here. 1 rule to follow with this girl: the moment you feel yourself losing power, sit back and wait for her to come to you. No matter how much inner game I try to use, when that moment finally comes the fear takes over and I waste the opportunity. Don't know what to do, but this is fucking with me hard. Take her to a bar. Simple as that. Anything that requires more thought or effort conveys that your mind is already mind up about the girl. And that is a sure way to lose - unless her mind is already made up about you.

Sorry to say this, but you've already lost the game. You are so invested in this girl already, before you know anything about her. It's a recipe for rejection. Of course you should fix it. Because women are programmed to be attracted to risk-takers, leaders, alpha males. If she approaches you, it tells her nothing about your ability to take risks, be bold and display confidence. Women are not aware of this consciously but it is absolutely the reason why they want you to be the one who approaches. They want you to lead, to be dominant. They will never help you do it, but they WANT you to do it. And when you do it, they love you for it.

She wasn't into you. She could still have given you her number. If her phone NEVER worked she wouldn't bother bringing it with her. Here's the lesson. If you ask a girl out knowing nothing about her, i.e just based on her looks, it lowers your value. This is because it makes it look like you have low standards - her beauty is enough, which implies you don't have many women in your life. Next time find out something about her, and let her find out something about you. Well done for trying though.

The way to beat approach anxiety is to conquer your fears in small, gradual steps. This has worked wonders for me and I can do things now that I was once terrified of doing. Check out the book 'she's six steps away' by Eric Disco. (I have no affiliation but it helped me a lot.)

Anybody who has done this for a while will tell you this: numbers don't mean shit. Girls will give you a number just to get rid of you. You want to see how well you're doing, text the girls and see how many actually reply. You want to REALLY see how well you're doing, give them your email address and see if they contact you. It sounds to me like you're already confident, and you don't actually need to improve your success with women. Are you sure you're not just doing this for the ego boost? Eit…

This is great advice. I know that in my own attempts to meet women, I often blow opportunities to approach because I want the perfect situation. To the point where I sometimes go "crap, she's moved 2 inches to the left, it's too late to approach". The perfect moment almost never happens.

/r/seduction01/02/15 02:08 AM

My gut feeling is that you are a bit of a 'nice guy'. I say this because of the text you sent, and her response. Being nice, caring, etc in the early stages of dating does nothing for you - it's a turn-off. That is why you sent the text you did, and that is why she isn't into you. If you have the attitude that you have to win this girl over by being nice, sensitive etc, it will poison your whole game. So you have to unlearn this mindset. So my advice: 1) Don't text straight after a date, unless …

Keep approaching. You will sometimes meet girls where you walk away going "wow, that girl was so nice, what a sweetheart." Eventually, that thought starts to stay with you. And then you can remind yourself of it when you are about to approach - I sometimes say to myself "girls are nice" before I open. It helps. I would also recommend making friends with some nice girls. 1) Stop reading TRP 2) Start looking for the good in women. Confirmation bias means you will see what you wanna see. If you go in expecting women to be assholes, you will probably get negative reactions from them. Expect nice and you'll get nice. There are so many sweet, kind-hearted women out there. When you start seeing women as nice, approachable people, it makes talking to them a lot easier.

What should I have done differently? Nothing. She either legitimately has a boyfriend, or she just wasn't interested. You did fine. Pickup is not about being able to seduce any girl. It's about increasing your odds, and polarising girls you're interested in into either a 'yes' or 'no' category. That's precisely what you did.

I approach girls in shops a lot. The easiest way to open is to pick up something slightly weird and say 'have you tried this?'. Then if she's talkative you can transition. Will it get you into conversation every time? No. But it is easy and doesn't require much thinking. The less thinking and analysing you do the better. The direct approach can work great in the supermarket too. Show her that you've got balls.
/r/seduction26/01/15 12:22 AM

Cockiness means being bold, which is very attractive. If you demonstrate that you are not afraid to take risks, that can win you a lot of points. Women are attracted to risk takers and leaders.

How about learning to look for signs of attraction? That's a lot better than saying socially awkward things (which is a sign of low value). If you want to filter so badly, give them your card and wait for them to contact you. You'll lose anyone who isn't seriously interested.

I disagree with what g_gggg said. A one-liner can do a lot. It takes a lot of balls to say what you said, and it's a risky thing to say. Risk-taking and confidence is very attractive. I would have gone with "you'll have to use your imagination..for now".

Things definitely get better in your 30's. I've recently turned 32, and the preceding year I slept with more women (and had more opportunities for girlfriends) than I have had any other year. Personally I don't think the gym is great if you are just starting. 1) It's not a great idea to try something new with someone you might see again. If it goes horribly wrong, it will be embarrassing every time you see them. 2) Like you say, people at the gym are focusing, a lot of them have headphones on. It's possible to open those people, but it takes balls and it's pretty hard for a beginner. YMMV of course, but I think parks and shops are better.

I'm a daygamer. I do about 80% of my approaches in women's clothes shops. The rest are in supermarkets (especially Whole foods), pharmacies (where girls go to buy makeup, shampoo etc), and random places like bus stops. If you live in a big city with lots of shops, I reckon clothes shops are by far the best place. If you're starting out, you want to go somewhere with lots of girls so you can warm up quickly and do your next set quickly if you get blown out. Lots of sets is the key.

Johnny Berba is at best a hack, at worst a scammer. I've checked out his videos before, because a friend of mine got some (very expensive) coaching from him. The guy has no idea what he is doing. He walks up to girls and has lukewarm conversations with them where they give no signs of attraction. They seem uncomfortable and look like they are just being polite. Then he walks away with a probably fake phone number. And somehow this guy has the balls to charge people for coaching. Anyone who's goo…

This girl dumped your ass because you were letting her be the boss. You gave her way too much power and she could tell you were already sold on her. 'Making it up to her' when she was upset that you couldn't hang out one weekend = bad Buying her a present when you aren't in a proper relationship = bad Caving to all her demands = bad Asking her to be your girlfriend in a really cowardly way = bad These are all low-value behaviours and you are coming off as a classic nice guy here. This is what gi…

I'll disagree with what Squand said. It is fine to not ask a question - if anything it's better. It shows less investment on your part, but it is enough to get a response if she likes you. This girl simply didn't like you enough (she probably gave you a fake number). Fighting for her attention is low-value behaviour. So is being persistent. My issue with your text is this: it makes it sound like you usually get rejected. You should have said 'thanks for swiping right' instead. But I think you wo…

I just don't know what I'd say if the answer is no You will almost never had a girl say 'no' flat out - it's too uncomfortable for her. They will either make some excuse (e.g I have a boyfriend), say yes but then not reply to your invite later, or give you a fake number. Pretty girls get asked out a lot. It's not a big deal to them, so don't worry about it.

You always want to be thinking 'what would a high value man do?' The answer is he would have a strong belief that his needs and desires are important, so he would not feel bad about chatting up girls. He would also not be worried about what others think about him. Self-improvement is a jigsaw puzzle. It doesn't work the same for everyone as we are all different. The insights we gain from these books are all tiny pieces of the puzzle - but you have to figure out how to put them together yourself. Regarding your end question, I would perhaps start by making a list of the values you like to see in other people. This will probably be a reflection of what your real values are, and it will help you figure out what is important to you. Not being a 'nice guy' is …

Wasn't impressed by this article. Guys need to get over their approach anxiety before they can be ready to meet girls as they are going about their day-to-day life. The only way to do that is to set time aside to go and approach girls, so eventually you get comfortable with it. Don’t go out “sarging”. If you treat daygame as an activity or hobby, there is too much pressure on you to obtain results, making it harder to relax and act naturally around women. Better advice: go out and practice speci…

The fear of the judgement of others, including your friends, is just another thing you have get over in the process of getting better at this stuff. Do what I did: start telling people about what you're doing. You'll find they aren't judgemental like you expect - if anything, people think its cool. I've told my friends, female friends, family members and even colleagues about my endeavours to meet women in the day. They were all surprisingly encouraging.

If you give out a card like that, one that shows off your achievements, it's a bit try-hard. Lots of guys do that. Go the other way - a simple card with just your email address on it. Throw it all out and start again. Too much 'PUA knowledge' will harm you rather than helping you, as you're learning. Learn something small, then go practice it. 3 hours practice for every 1 hours reading. But just try and remember that girls aren't the enemy and it's not like everything they do is meant to test or trick you. It sounds to me like this girl was feeling a little objectified, which isn't nice for anyone. Sometimes girls DO do things for power in the relationship. You need to have g…

Why should having confidence mean being an asshole? There are some people who are assholes who appear confident because they are loud and agressive. These people aren't confident on the inside, so they are overcompensating on the inside. Being confident doesn't mean being a dick or undermining others. It means having a strong sense of your own self worth and a belief in your abilities. If you want to become more confident, keep pushing outside of your comfort zone in every aspect of your life. E…

I would recommend deleting Tinder. As for reading, too much reading will actually damage your game. You should learn ONE thing then go and practice it. When it comes to PUA stuff, there are people out there giving both good and bad advice. Just like there are religious people or feminists saying equally good and bad things. I think a lot of women dislike 'PUA' because they think it is manipulative. But most guys studying this stuff aren't predators trying to trick women. Mostly it is just shy, nice guys who want to learn how to talk to women. Plus, I don't think there are many women who wouldn't want to meet a guy who is confident, fun, and sex…

Confidence doesn't help you much if you're not meeting women. Or if you're insecure with women. For some people, 'living life to the full' means being stuck in their room working on their art, hanging out in a basement playing poker every night, lifting weights in the gym, or playing music that appeals to a male audience. Point being, there are plenty of 'full life' scenarios that don't help guys meet women.
/r/seduction07/12/14 08:55 PM

'Stop putting the pussy on the pedestal' is good advice. Telling guys that women will come to them if they 'just live life to the fullest' isn't helpful. There are lots of guys with great lives that suck with women.

The problem IMO is that in day game, you're rarely going to get IOI's from someone. In the places I go for day game (clothes shops, supermarkets, the street), women are minding their own business not looking at guys. I guess YMMV. You can definitely go direct on girls who haven't given you IOI's and get great results.

When watching guys pick up girls on YouTube, I feel like they're just selling bullshit. You're correct. Most 'PUA' videos are total scams. Stop apologising for your presence. That's a real turn-off for girls. It's ok to be sensitive to her and her body language. But you don't need to apologise for going over to her. Again I ask her again the same question. About the same response. What was the question?

It can be a great opener. Yes some women dislike it - but some women LOVE the boldness. It gets you into personal conversation very quickly. It's also the only opener to use if you want to stop a woman who is walking down the street. However, strong delivery is vital. If you don't say it loud and proud it will come off creepy. Here's how I do it: Warm up by telling a girl she's cute and then just walking away (say 'have a nice day' after or something). This takes all the pressure off you because…

I would do two things. Make a list of three qualities/interests that are important to you. Then start screening every girl for those qualities. If she doesn't match up, walk away from her. Obviously this will be painful at first, but you are teaching yourself that the girl has to be worthy of you. Just try and be in the moment more. When you're dancing with the girl, admire her beauty and think about fucking her. You'll be less in your head.

Be warned: motivation is a 'spike'. It doesn't mean anything. I can promise you that if you are new to this, you are going to get knocked back and feel like crap sometimes. Motivation isn't what matters. Consistency is what matters. Be consistent - get out there 3+ times a week, whether you feel motivated or not. It's like going to the gym. Sometimes you just don't feel motivated, but you force yourself to do it anyway, and the work pays off.

A girl will forgive you for moving too fast. She won't forgive you for being a pussy or for not being able to move things forward. For that reason, you should always take risks. So go for the kiss, go for her boobs, try and fuck her. Don't be disheartened if girls don't want to go home with you on the first date. Some girls will, some girls won't - it's a matter of personal ethics. But I don't think I've ever had a girl who didn't see me again just because I tried to fuck her. They expect that f…

You actually mentioned two sticking points here. Let's look at possible solutions: One - You talk too fast Firstly, practice talking slowly before you go out. I read a couple of pages from a book out loud and it helps. Secondly - Focus on saying your opener slowly and powerfully. Practice it before you go out. If you say your opener slowly it sets the scene for the whole interaction, for both you and the girl. Thirdly, just keep doing the approaches - eventually you get more comfortable and you …

I agree with this. OP, make sure you are thinking about completing the task, not some bigger goal of fucking the girl. If your goal is to open her and ask her a personal question, as long as you do it, you succeed- regardless of the outcome.

You're not always going to have something to say to a stranger, but pick something in your environment to spark conversation. I was on the train the other day and there was a newspaper next to the woman sitting adjacent to me. I asked her if she was finished with it and she said yes. /r/seduction20/09/14 11:26 AM

Why stick to one style? I think there are always going to be situations where one is better than the other. If I am walking up to a girl on a train platform from 50 metres away, there's no point in using an indirect opener because it's obvious I want to talk to her. On the other hand if I approach her on a packed train where we are going to be standing next to each other for the next 10 minuts, a direct opener could make things very awkward if it doesn't go well.

IMO holding hands is quite an intense 'couple-y' thing to do. Personally I never hold hands unless I have been dating the girl for a while. Maybe she thinks you want a relationship. At this point she might just wanna get laid, who knows. But it doesn't sound to me like you are being too needy so maybe you just didn't amp up the sexual vibe enough. It's ok…

Look at it this way. Girls expect to be hit on a night out. So don't worry about being 'out of place'. It's better to stand out. Be the guy who is different from the rest. Have the balls to approach that 5-set on your own. Don't compliment them or offer them drinks. Just go up there, make a statement as an opener, and try and have fun. That said, I agree with other posts in this thread - bars like that are a shitty place to try and pick up in. If you have to do it, treat it like a numbers game. …

Better still "that's true, but don't worry, we'll work on your personality". Unfortunately I think OP just over-gamed in this situation. He was trying so hard to ignore the girl and act like he was very choosy with girls. But the girl tested him and he showed that he wasn't so choosy.

Well, I don't know without seeing you on a date. But for one thing, why not wait until she texts you sometimes? When you're talking on the date, drop the conversation every once in a while and let her start up a new topic. Disagree with her on a few things. Look at your phone every now and then. Talk about the things you care about and see if she knows about them or cares about them. You just basically want to be giving her the impression you're interested/curious in her but not won over yet. Be…

You fucked up by going from hunted to hunter. I know hindsight is a wonderful thing but when she said "I'm gonna make you wait" you shoulda just left her to it. This girl wanted validation from you.

Mine are good (even when I was new) when I use "indirect playful" openers. I am NOT talking about "classic opinion" openers. Can you give some examples?

I approached 3 girls on the street today. Got smiles and awkward conversation from two of them, the third stopped and seemed happy I approached her but said she had a boyfriend. I wouldn't expect many direct street openers to go well. But when they do go well, they'll go REALLY well. Practice doing it with confidence. I say my opener really slowly with some big pauses in it ("I just had to say...you look....REALLY cute today"). That helps you to open with some impact.

So what happens after they chase you down?

It's pretty unattractive to just directly tell a girl you like her. It makes you seem inexperienced. Show her by flirting, with your body, with the way you treat her. Girls WILL pick up on it, believe me. Girls want a guy that knows the dating game, that knows how to read the signals and give them. Not some awkward guy who keeps narrating everything.

Do NOT text her again for at least a week. Don't chase her. Wait a week and send her something flirty, but don't ask her out if she isn't giving you interest in response.

If she's asking you personal questions, that's a good thing. She wants to get to know you. You should be getting to know her in the process. If you make an honest to god connection you are way more likely to sleep with her. If you are uncomfortable answering personal questions, she will be too. I sleep with every girl I go out with, I've done 12 this year so far. The main things to remember are to make a connection, be sexual, but make sure you are a challenge to her too. Be funny but don't try …

It's not too late. But you have a lot of work to do. Let me advise something that the seduction rarely talks about: consider going to therapy. You need to tackle your self-esteem and depression problems head-on. After that I would look at finding a new job as your next main goal. If you get belittled somewhere place you spend most of your time at, that's not going to do much for your self-esteem. Next priority, start working on your physique. Start working out as soon as possible. Shave your hea…

That's unique enough for most women, provably because most other guys act like OP suggests. Exactly. How many other guys are gonna walk up and start asking her boring questions like 'what do you do'? You'll lose a few girls straight away with that. Plus in a bar/club you're really dealing with a group situation 90% of the time, so I don't see this working too easily.

You can be confident, funny, handsome, and still fuck it up pretty easily. Why don't you walk us through your last couple of pickup attempts?

4 days a week is still a lot man! Plus all your other stuff - you're a full time sports man! Good for you, I think it's great to be passionate about stuff. But you might have to make some sacrifices if you want to get better social skills.

Bartenders are hard to hit on. But it's possible. I made out with a bartender during her shift once. I have her on facebook and she is a pornstar now, so maybe not the most 'normal' example. Loads of guys will try and hit on the cute bartender. You can stand out by not being a tool about it, because most of the drunk guys in the bar will act like idiots.. Don't shower her with compliments. Don't say pervy things to her. Just chat to her, make her laugh, but be a challenge. If you start getting o…

Read 'She's Six Steps Away' by Eric Disco. That is the Starting Strength of pickup. (disclaimer: I have no affiliation but it has worked wonders for me in getting over approach anxiety) It sounds like you have a lot of issues, as most guys who come to pickup (including myself) do! You don't have any confidence and you put all your energy into bodybuilding. The two go hand in hand because you want people to think you are tough. You want people to notice you, but not fuck with you. I know, cos I'v…

I'm gonna say a big fat no. And I've had a bunch of one night stands with girls from Tinder. Going from 0 to making out is almost always very awkward. It can be a ballsy move if there has been a lot of flirting beforehand. But that will not be the case if it's the first thing you do when you meet her in person. What's the rush? Are you that desperate/horny? Girls like a bit of buildup and they like to feel comfortable. So invite her in, flirt with her, start with a kiss on the cheek and build up…

Yes exactly that. Ask people for directions, then whatever happens say thanks and leave after (even if its a good response). Give people a compliment and do the same thing. Then start staying in longer. You can also practice telling girls they are cute and then leaving - or what I do is not to leave but just turn around and look at my phone. If you do it that way you train your body to stay physically present. But by taking off the pressure of 'what will I say next' you can focus on just getting…

I get rejected all the time. But so what. To quote the book Think and Grow Rich, "Every failure is the seed of an equal and opposite success". FWIW that girl is an asshole. There is no need to treat another human being like that. However, I will say that 'hey, what's your name' as an opener will probably get you blown out more often than other openers will. Try making a statement when you approach girls in a night situation. Just say what you see. "You guys look like you're waiting for something…

Ok as someone who has been working hard at day game and seen big improvements over the last year, here's my advice. 1. Chat to the person behind the counter in EVERY shop you go to. You'll have good and bad interactions, but you'll get more comfortable with it. Sometimes they are bored, so they are thrilled to talk to someone. And sometimes you'll find that the conversations are awkward not because of you, but because THEY are shy/awkward. This is very helpful because it teaches you that it's not…

Simple. You tell her with your actions. She will judge what you want by how often you see her, text her etc. If you want a casual thing just see her once a week tops. And if she does ask you what you want, just tell her honestly. Women respect honesty and a lot of the time will go along with it. Just say you like spending time with her but aren't ready for a relationship in your life. As for building a connection, that should be easy. Just be a good listener and take an interest in her life. Sha…
