2 hour sessions are not necessarily better than 1 hour workouts. You may "feel" like you're getting more out of your workout, especially since being at the gym is fun! However, if you want optimal results, shorten your workouts to that of around 1 hour, and take rest days every so often. Your muscles do need rest to recover and grow properly. Many gyms run promotions. Like /u/ek1995 said, sell your games/systems. That way you won't be tempted to go back to them. Once you get into the positive feedback loop of improving your body and seeing results, you'll notice it's much more rewarding than the instant gratification you get from video games.
