Depletion of glycogen helps induce loss of water weight - that's why the illusion of higher reps sticks around. If on a diet, the highest priority is to maintain strength.

You can be intimate with a friend without it being sexual, if that's what you're worried about. Being vulnerable with another person is incredibly powerful and healing and it's great you've found that with Jeremy.

I was born with a stutter. I used to let it affect me significantly; avoidance, etc. But you'll come to a point where you need to make a decision, if you're unhappy with your inability to speak fluently you can do one of two things: accept it as other users have mentioned or work towards gaining some control. Feel free to tell people if you wish (if it comes up), most initially don't know how to react to the information but you can dictate how they should be acting with your own behaviour. A stu…

tl;dr avoid excessive insulin spikes. Avoid high GI/refined sugars. Basically what has always been said, eat your greens and meats and avoid shitty foods. If you're going to be limiting carbohydrates to ~100g a day, then you'll need to replace the remaining energy requirements with fats after fulfilling your quota of protein. edit* Yeah avoid high GI my bad

Strength gain and weight loss for newbies is what people call 'noob gains'. It's mostly due to the rapid adaption of the CNS to manage the much higher level of muscle activation versus what was done previously. Their muscles may or may not be getting larger, but they are definitely getting stronger! I am not a doctor.

If you don't find yourself attracted to her, then don't. If you just want to get it out of the way, perhaps you could - but it won't ever be as good as it could be compared to someone who you're actually attracted to.

Always take note on whether you're truly feeling neutral to a situation (or in a context) or whether you're actually just numb to a situation. I find I have to take a step back and reflect sometimes.

It's funny as hell. What this guy teaches is solid underlying principles through a very showy medium. It may take a student a while to learn these principles, but they're there. What these women don't realise is that for the men that were not born as 'naturals' there are ways to learn how to get the pussy they want - learning PUA is one of those ways. They don't even realise what men go through just to get some puss.

Just decided to sort this shit out for good. I'll be honest I'm pretty sick of it. As Epicureanist said, I can't prevent myself from stuttering/blocking when the urge is there. But I can prevent myself from experiencing those urges as much as I do currently. The solution is threefold: * 1: Practice the necessary speaking patterns daily and gradually apply it more and more each day. * 2: Begin to catch myself on all the subtle validation-seeking behaviours in my day to day life. * 3: As Epicurean…

I've experienced great success when limiting my speech. That's why I suspect that when I sort this out it will help me immensely. You are correct about owning it. That is something I've struggled with, but it should be done.

I previously had a stammer, but it progressed into a silent block a year or two ago. Are you familiar with the naturalness/severity scale?
/r/askTRP20/10/14 12:44 PM

I feel ya. but you can prevent yourself from stuttering because you stuttered. This is key. Getting flustered over breaking fluency is a definite killer. I'll begin with meditation too, it's been one of those things that I've been thinking about for a while. I've experienced increased disfluency when I'm basing even a minute amount of self worth on an interaction or when invested in a specific conversation. It's funny, when I'm not seeking anything I experience complete fluency. I still feel lik…

That's what I was asking for! Until I get it under control - assume I won't be changing my speaking patterns.
/r/askTRP20/10/14 12:27 PM
1

Technically speaking, stuttering is a neurological disorder. It can be addressed by practicing certain speaking techniques and the stutterer will experience varying levels of relief/fluency depending on their predisposition. I'd say currently it can't be cured easily, only medicated with therapy - as you'll always have that predisposition there even if no urge to stutter is felt.

It should be amended by saying that following the PHRASE "happy wife, happy life" is not a good way to handle things. As Patrice said, it trickles down - if you get the king in order the kingdom will flourish.

He's simply stating that the level of violence capable by the average woman vs the average man in this scenario is not a 'level playing field'. He's not adding much to the discussion.

Young girls can definitely be leaders. I remember when I was younger (primary school years) that I recognised a definite distinction between a bossy girl and a 'leader'. The bossy girls were called as such because they were generally smug cunts about it. Also the phrase found on the website: "Between elementary and high school, girls’ self–esteem drops 3.5 times more than boys’." How can they possibly prove this?

It's almost irrelevant whether she wanted to teach you salsa or not. The more important thing here is that she was aware that she didn't respond to an offer you put out and flippantly dismissed it. By saying "it's okay, really", it communicates to her that you don't mind her disrespecting you or your offers.

Both TRP and NoFap encourage their users to view and interact with women much more clearly than they may have previously. That is the only direct connection. NoFap teaches you discipline. NoFap can be a catalyst for change once you see the initial improvements - it kick starts many people into self improvement in nany more aspects of their lives. And think about it, if you no longer have the option to fap, you HAVE to go out and get laid. The major physiological changes that people sometimes ref…
