Thank you. I value grounded discussions over slogans, so I’m glad it came across that way.

I think all work deserves respect, regardless of where it happens. If one partner stays home, that does not make them a live-in housekeeper. It means their labor at home deserves the same respect as paid work outside the home. Basic respect still applies. If you live in a house and make a mess, you clean it up yourself. That is not negotiable. The real problem is when people turn everything into a competition about who is more tired or who does more. That mindset ruins both relationships and mut…

You’re arguing against a position I haven’t taken.

Nothing I wrote argues for control over women’s bodies. I am questioning how empowerment is framed and monetized, not women’s autonomy.

Being asked for responsibility and emotional maturity is not oppression. It is part of what adulthood requires. This constant framing of men as victims of modern society often seems less about real suffering and more about discomfort with accountability. Women gaining autonomy is not what made life hard. Avoiding effort, discipline and self reflection did. If basic reciprocity feels like oppression the issue probably is not feminism. Life is not hard because of your gender. It is hard because yo…

Lol. Not all sexual stimulation produces the same dopamine patterns or conditioning as porn. Context matters.

I agree that discomfort alone is not a reason to walk away. Relationships do involve compromise, adjustment, and sometimes putting another person’s needs first. My point is not that women should leave whenever something feels uncomfortable, but that patterns matter. There is a difference between temporary discomfort that comes from growth or compromise, and recurring behaviors where effort, accountability, or self correction are consistently avoided. What I am emphasizing is selection, not perfe…

My point is not about moralizing, but about selection and outcomes. What I’m arguing is that behaviors often framed as "normal" (low effort, avoidance of responsibility, rationalizing instead of correcting behavior) are useful early indicators when vetting for long term compatibility. From a practical standpoint, women who select for men who demonstrate discipline, accountability, and willingness to self correct tend to experience more stability long term than women who accept explanations witho…

I don’t really have advice in the “do this” sense. My point was more about awareness, questioning narratives, and choosing intentionally rather than reacting to pressure.

I’m talking about cultural narratives and language, not human value. My point is about selling something as empowerment that may actually be unhealthy, not about judging women.

Right! Womens validation chasing has gone way over the top 😂 Was actually thinking of making a post about girls next time. Totally agree with your points tho! 😊

Like I said: integrity. Not the "everybody does it" mentality.

You're 22, so technically an adult. But still very young. From what you write it sounds like you've got a bit of a "yes is yes" mentality without really reflecting on the consequences for the girl, her maturity, her mental health, etc.

Its not that black and white of a question, it depends on your age, the girl's age, their mental health, etc.

Yeah, porn was just my example, because it’s one of the most obvious ways something sick has been normalized. My point is bigger: why can’t people just see how insane it is? We live in a world where: Porn is “normal.” Celebrities like Leonardo Dicaprio can openly date teenagers and it’s brushed off because he’s rich and famous. People accept that we’re all supposed to be addicted to our phones now. (Including myself with my phone) Money and status excusing anything. And nobody calls it out. Peop…
