Hey man try and keep your head up, just came here to say i lost my job going through a nasty divorce but at the end of the day life is still good. Any number of bad things can happen, all you can do is mitigate the risk and make smart choices from here on out. But don’t worry about all the catastrophic things that could happen that shaves years off your life chin up man if ya ever need to vent shoot me a message bud.

Yes North Carolina so then my video of her admitting to accessing my iPad wouldn’t be admissible? Just trying to see if said texts would be admissible since she obtained them illegally. Whole goal is to settle but just planning out worst case here

It states in my post that she stepped out on me first have her admitting it on camera but i did take her back so pretty much legally wipes the slate clean. But emotionally never got over it. Not saying my actions were appropriate by any means but am curious on my legal recourse now.

Yes i intend to pay off her portion of the debts 27k and keep the house her portion of the equity there would only be like 7/8k so its a net win for her.

So we both did that however she has texts from it on a text free App i have her in security camera openly admitting to stepping out but no sexual behavior was mentioned on either side.

Hey so reasoning here is i intend to file chapter 7 after and my equity is low in the home and have some non priority tax debts before the marriage as well so i can wash all this away and are debt and despite my high income i actually qualify for chapter 7

Appreciate it man I am glad it’s over honestly we haven’t been happy in some time just mainly concerned being able to keep the house and my retirement at this point.

I am hoping so, we owe like 57k together debt equity is about 40k so hoping i can assume all the debt and she just walk away and not have to do a buyout because that 40k of equity 36k is all gone if we sold after real estate commissions and closing costs. So my proposal is you either get 2k and pay 28k of debt or give me the house and i pay her 28k of debt. Like that seems like a no brainer

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
