Visibility has to be the strangest thing ive ever heard considering I like keeping my shit private. What does liking to keep your stuff private have to do with anything? Are you saying you don’t share anything with anyone? Or maybe you have nothing worth sharing with anyone? Also why do you care about affirmation from other people so much, I explained that. The affirmation of your values from people who share your values is an affirmation of your values. Knowing they are worth pursuing is helpfu…

Why do men and women get together? Visibility. Basically, being chosen for your highest values for sex by someone who has also chosen your highest values and experiencing sex with them is a confirmation that you, your values are good or worthy etc. I've never been in a serious relationship myself and honestly I don't want to try. keep reading about so many horror stories of cheating, opening relationships when issues start only for things to get worse, women baby trapping men, deadbeat father's,…

Thanks, your comment made me realize I need to focus on shared values and being secure in the relationship.

Really learn and understand that healthy long term relationships are primarily based upon shared values, upon personality, not upon physical appearance. And that as long as you’re physically attractive enough to the other person, like you have a healthy sex life, then that’s fine. And then find a guy who understands that. Even beautiful women worry that a man is settling on shared values or personality. They also worry that a man is going to leave them for a younger woman when she’s older.

It depends on the context. Maybe a woman going to a particular college was as important to her as your excavation business was important to you. But, she should then be willing to have a LDR and acknowledge that you can’t see each other in person often.

Fundamentally, start enjoying life and doing what ever you reason is best for your life. There’s stuff you can learn to make that easier, but you’ll still have to do that.

If you’re just a thirsty dude unworthy of romance then you probably shouldn’t pursue romance. If you’re not willing to pursue romance because you might upset some irrational woman, then you probably shouldn’t pursue romance. Reasonable women know they are going to approached by reasonable men, particularly at conventions. That’s part of life. Basically, you get over it by pursuing women who share your values, so you’re not just looking for a warm body, and by learning from first hand observation…

Why is approaching a total stranger, who you usually have pretty much no idea whether you’ll even like her, so important to your life and happiness?

Seems like it would be better than ghosting, or by being honest with “hey I’m kind of repulsed by the fact that I fornicated with you while heavily intoxicated, that’s the reason why I’ll never reach out or make an effort to never see you again” like cmon man. It might be better than all of those things, but those aren’t the only alternatives. Women lie all the time, some would say all is fair in love and war This is a retarded justification for lying or doing anything.

What is your policy on texting one night stands if you don’t intend to see them again? Don’t text them. Don’t ask for their number. You don’t need to ask for their number to make it not awkward. If you’re only after a one night stand, don’t ever imply otherwise from the start to the end. Pretending that you’re interested by asking for their number is worse than not asking for it.

White lies are bad. They aren’t harmless. Your case is an perfect example of the harm. There are very limited circumstances when a temporary white lie is acceptable.

Yes, it does. A woman who’s interested enough to go out on a date with you if you ask is normally going to be turned off if you just play pen pals with her.

That’s a different question than your original post. Rational women, which includes that they are pursuing a long term romance, are going to prefer someone who is actually good looking over not, but it’s not as important as someone’s values and virtues.

Non-neediness vs neediness is not a good way to look at it. Basically, it means having self-esteem, it means pursuing the values you reason are best for your life and happiness in your career, the arts, hobbies/entertainment, health etc. and regarding yourself as competent at life and worthy of living for doing so. With regards to romance, it means pursuing women who share your highest values. With regards to friendships, it means being friends because they share your values. Neediness is when y…

Are you sex obsessed? Well it partially depends on what else you’ve got going on in your life. Besides that, it’s generally better for living to have highest or most important values for living and to pursue romance, not just sex, with women who share your highest values, not just women who are young and beautiful.

PSA: This doesn’t prove anything. Yeah, being an “8” doesn’t mean that a “6” is automatically going to swipe right on you. And yeah, you probably shouldn’t completely or primarily rely on dating apps.

Your third sentence is unclear. Would you explain it more fully? Are you saying you want to move your causal relationship with the emotionally unavailable girl to an exclusive FWB relationship? But anyway, for living and achieving happiness, you need to achieve the most important values for that, which are thinking and productive work. Romance is almost as important for achieving happiness. For pursuing your most important values, it’s important to pursue a romantic relationship with someone who…

The person who should keep his subjective morality to himself is you. You’re morally condemning others or imposing your morals on others according to your own subjective morality for what you yourself are doing. Learn to think better.

If your goal is a serious romantic relationship and you are in a such a relationship, you can improve the skills necessary for that goal. The sort of skills you’re talking about are relatively not important for that goal or might even hamper your ability to pursue it.

Though Manson doesn’t explain his principle very well, partially because he doesn’t have a objectively formed morality, he doesn’t advocate for absolute vulnerability regardless of context, of what you feel and why you feel it. The real point of what Mark calls being “vulnerable” is that you pursue the rational values that are objectively necessary for you to live and achieve happiness and that the opinions of jerks or “haters” don’t matter for that. Since their opinion doesn’t matter, then you …

Being genuinely nice and caring for people is often immoral in the way people usually mean it, but is she interested in you? It’s not necessarily the case that you’re being needy.
/r/seduction30/06/22 11:48 PM

Being needy is when want something from women who aren’t worth it, who don’t share enough of your highest values. So learn to want intimacy from women who are worthy of intimacy.

I am torn between what I want, because it seems most women today will just do any guy within the first couple of dates if there is attraction. So why would I wait? Well, it depends on what sort of woman you’re looking to have sex with. I sincerely doubt that you have the evidence to support the assertion that most women will do any guy within in two dates. Yet at the same time, I wonder if waiting, as a virgin, will make things more intimate? I don’t know what you mean by waiting. For achieving …

What I realized is that if a girl is thick and has a fat ass she's going to get hit on by A LOT of guys. I just can't compete with that. I just have a feelign that women that are thick get hit on so much that their standards likely become super high which means my chance of being with one gets lower and lower and is basically 0. You tell if she’s interested by taking the initiative to show you’re interested, by asking her out on a date or something. You don’t have to call it a date. You can just ask her to do X with you at time Y. Or you can spend more time letting her get to know you, seeing what she thinks of you, and getting to know her as well. You can tell her you’re single and ask if she’s single. How is she supposed to know you’re interested in her?

Well, the other guy gave some good advice. But I don’t know if you can eliminate the risk. But as long as you incrementally escalate, then if you make a mistake it won’t be too bad and you just apologize or whatever. If you don’t see yourself as a sexual being, then maybe you could use to learn that you are sexually desirable to the right woman or how to become sexually desirable to the right woman.

I don't know whether I should text/call her within these 7-days to maintain rapport, or just not contact her until the day I schedule the date? What do you mean you feel like you have to prove something? It’s masculine for men to initiate in romance. That means introducing yourself well and getting to know her, so that she can get to know you, you can get to know her and go from there. Well, she was possibly asking because you were pursuing sex with her that night, which usually means you’re after sex and not her, ie her personality. So she was, in effect, asking if she was special to you or just another to add to your body count. Generally be honest somehow, women who want you to be dishonest, who don’t like you ie don’t like you for who you are, aren’t worth pursuing for your happiness.

Well, it’s necessary for man to pursue happiness to pursue the values he thinks are best for that, not to worry about status because it’s status. So from that perspective, no one can really know how you should best spend your money. Without thinking about it much, since I’d be buying new furnishings, then it’s probably good to buy what I like now instead of having to get rid of the old ones and buy new ones later. But maybe not. people in general too, I know it's important to be able to talk to any and everyone Not literally for pursuing happiness, no. The problem is if I try to talk to women now I feel uninteresting and I don't even know where to begin or what to say. What are your interests? Do you do stuff you find interesting? How do you get more comfortable with it though? You start doing it and get used to it. It also might be helpful to understand why you find sexual and romantics feelings uncomfortable, why you’re scared of rejection and deal with those beliefs from there depending on what they are. Well, it could mean a number of things. It could be that she’s putting on a front for you, she’s putting on a front for others, she’s putting on front for both you and others, she wants to act differently in romance vs than with others, she’s nervous etc. But what it really means is that it’s an interesting thing to talk to her about.

I want to have a serious relationship or at least not have to wow a girl with my money before I am able to get her attention. Same. Wowing a girl with money is not useful for pursuing happiness and a serious romance for happiness. I want to be able to approach ladies in any way environment or situation. I think that’s unhelpful for pursuing romance for several reasons. One, you’re going to have the best chances in better circumstances like on a dating app or at place where people are looking for…
/r/seduction10/06/22 07:55 PM

Yeah, like others have said, you’re approaching the women platonically and not romantically. Men are expected and properly the initiators in romance, so that means if you’re not initiating then she probably thinks you’re not really interested in her or worth her time or too inexperienced etc., so she’s probably not going to initiate body contact etc. Also, if she doesn’t know you because you don’t tell her about yourself, then she’s probably not going to start liking you.

So I am a very introverted and shy guy and I don’t know what to say to a lady to capture her attention and make her want to talk to me again. I don’t think anyone knows what to say to every stranger to capture their attention or make the stranger want to talk to them. That’s not a helpful goal for pursuing romance for yourself. The reason I'm asking the question is originally I was reading a philosophy book and it talked about Deontology - Essentially one way to determine if something is morally okay is to say "What if everyone did this? would the world be better or worse" If the world would be worse, then it's probably immoral. Ok. For one, do you think that’s an objective approach to morality? If so, why? Two, there’s moral assumptions within the question. Would the world be better. . . better according to what moral…

That’s great. Good luck. Also, you’re more likely to repel the better women, particularly the ones who are attracted to you, by not wanting intimacy and sex with them.
/r/seduction09/06/22 01:53 AM
1

That clears up a lot. I’m curious. What word did they use in what language? Well, it’s a concept that Mark made up in English to describe what he’s talking about, to help him explain himself. It’s not the standard meaning of the term for sure. Anyway, pursuing romance, with a woman worthy of it, is necessary for man to pursue happiness. You can’t get rid of that need and be happy. You definitely can’t get rid of that by being vulnerable.
/r/seduction09/06/22 01:41 AM
1

Also from Mark A needy man will be more invested in the woman he is with than in himself – he will be more concerned about her opinion, about him, about the weather, about everything other than what he actually thinks and feels. A non-needy man will be more invested in himself than the woman he’s with. By investment, I mean the degree to which you sacrifice/alter your own thoughts, feelings, and motivations for someone else. By less I mean that as a man, you should not be willing to sacrifice yo…
/r/seduction09/06/22 01:36 AM

From Mark Neediness is when a man places a higher priority on others’ perceptions of him than his perception of himself. A needy man’s actions and words will therefore be primarily motivated by impressing and winning approval from others. Non-neediness is when a man places a higher priority on his own perception of himself than the perceptions of others. A non-needy man’s actions and words will therefore be primarily motivated by embodying his own values and desires.

I appreciate your response, but let me counter argue. Sure. For years I've been hearing this talk about people saying they don't need women, and are happy just seeking their own approval. Okay. Then why do you even date? Fair point. So what that can mean, in the best sense and not necessarily what they mean, is that you live, achieve happiness, gaining self-esteem primarily from yourself, through your own efforts, for yourself. You don’t need to mooch off of others to live. You don’t primarily n…

If you've red his book "Models" and agree with its concepts, can you please explain how does being vulnerable reduce non-neediness? Well, the thing is that you don’t want to be “non-needy”, you want to have real self-esteem, you want to approach romance by putting yourself first or with self-esteem. You morally put yourself first, never sacrificing what’s best for your life for anyone or never putting anyone above yourself. Your primary source of happiness is from your career, romance is second …

Some people just aren’t compatible, and she still liked her ex apparently. She’s not interested in you. You don’t have to explain to be honest. If you were rude, you could apologize and then leave it at that. Too much information isn’t good, like if some stranger comes up to you and starts talking about their deepest hopes and dreams or their mom’s death. From what you’ve said, you still have a chance.

Generally I think it’s better to pursue what you want, and then you can judge how receptive she is to that from her reaction rather than trying to figure out what she wants. Since you and she don’t want a serious romance, that seems good for you two. Have fun.
/r/seduction06/06/22 09:25 PM

Well, it seems like you’re jumping to conclusions without enough evidence. She doesn’t want anything serious. What that means for her exactly depends. It sounds like she’s up for a more casual relationship. But she could reasonably change her mind in the future. Rather than thinking so much about that, I’d think about what you want from her and whether you can get that. Do you want a serious romance? A FWB? To get to know her better? Someone to have some fun dates with?

r/seduction is for dating in general, not just guys looking for casual sex. There’s not much of yourself involved in causal sex. It is like acting like a mindless, choice-less, valueless monkey doing what monkeys do. An important, or the most important, part of yourself is your important values. Having sex based on yourself, your important values, would be two individuals, as part of pursuing their happiness, choosing to pursue sex and romance with each other based on theirselves, based on their…

The thing with women and lying is that they lie in an interesting way. They don't lie directly, they twist the truth just enough so it isn't the truth, but it isn't a lie anymore either. "I didn't lie, I just didn't tell the whole truth." Her is an example, I once asked a girl how many guys she'd had sex with before me. She said she had been with 5, ok whatever right? However, it later turned out that she was only counting the guys she'd seriously dated and not one night stands, see what I mean …

Furthermore, at one point in the book Malcolm X explains that you should never ask a woman about the other men she is dating or has dated. She will either lie, which will make you unsure when you can trust her again. Or she will tell you the truth which will just make you insecure. If she lies, then you’ll know that about her which is good for evaluating her. Why would the truth make necessarily make you insecure? It won’t, particularly if you have proper self-esteem. I don’t think your numbers are right. And you’re definitely not right about the more reasonable men. But, when it comes to biological differences between men and women without factoring in the choices men and women can make, men are more in control of achieving their pleasure during sex than women and more in control of not being raped, assaulted or impregnated. This makes it easier for a man to approach a women than vice versa, which means a man needs less of a reason to approach than a woman. …
