She's clearly never taken a boy shopping for clothes or shoes. Girls easily have sections that are 2-3 times the size of the boys section. Last time I was at Kohls, 4 racks of girl shoes to the one rack of boys.

I can only think that if the genders were reversed, a male perpetrator would probably get decades. And rightly so. She'll most likely get the recommended 18 months, and it'll probably be credited with time served.

2nd degree manslaughter, which was a plea-down from a murder charge. Yeah, one of those "Who the fuck did I marry?!" scenarios.

In theory, I agree with you. In practice, that avenue didn't work for me. I was told to "pray harder", and "what do you have to be depressed about when God loves you so much?" Granted, these were my experiences as a believer, and hopefully the exception to the rule. Normally, I encourage faith-based counseling over secular.

"Just get help" they say. It's 100% not that easy, nor is it cost effective, and that's a real tragedy. I struggled with depression and suicidal thoughts for many years, but I was a single father with sole custody of two children and for me, getting help would have resulted in exposure that I wasn't ready for. My fear was that if I was honest with an analyst, they'd see me as a risk and then I'd potentially have my kids taken from me while I was placed in some sort of clinic. I went to a couple …

It's voluntary. Currently the birth mother doesn't have to list a father. This gives him the option to be notified if she plans on giving the child up for adoption.

"The 120-page proposal would allow birth fathers to register their information with the Cabinet for Health and Family Services after having sexual relations with a woman who he may have gotten pregnant. He then would be notified that she is pregnant is entering into an adoption plan if the mother chooses. “[The birth father] is notified that she is pregnant and is entering into an adoption plan, and it’s a ‘speak now or forever hold your peace,’” said adoption attorney Waverly Townes."

My insurance plan covered 12 visits a year, and only a $20 copay for each visit. After those 12 sessions were up, it was full-price (over $200 a visit). That was pretty awful, but the worst part was scheduling. They only saw clients M-F, 8-4, so I'd have to hustle on my lunch hour, or take time off. Can't really focus on a helpful session when I'm in the midst of a busy work day. Saturday appointments would have been ideal, but none of the local practitioners had them. So I just quit going, it w…

For the men: The men who turned away from Trump after the media circus are probably either white knights, or may feel some level of guilt over their own sexual urges / thoughts - and seek moral absolution by shifting support to a woman. Or they're Betas and are jealous that Trump can grab pussy whenever he wants - so they resort to Alpha-shaming.< I'm sure that's a part of it. I'm also thinking that a number of them just won't publicly admit to supporting Trump. But, once they're all alone in th…

The last three years of my recent marriage sank me into a massive depression, to the point of contemplating suicide. Initiating the divorce, and following through to the final sign-off, the clouds started to break. It's been 7 months since, and I've not had a single depressive episode. Just the opposite, in fact, I'm happier than I've ever been! Marriage sucks the life out of men.

lol...I've been going on about this for years. Take a look at the selection of cards, too. Mother's day cards are flowing worshipful literary masterpieces...while Father's day cards are about laziness, golf, and beer. My kids and I do movie marathons on Father's Day (Interstellar, Big Fish, and Tron Legacy), and my kids do the grilling. I look forward to it every year, it's awesome.

I'm a heavy sleeper. My ex gave me a hickey on my neck while I was asleep, then started a screeching argument with me the next morning about why I had a hickey on my neck. We'd been talking about divorce the week prior, and I guess she wanted to accuse me of infidelity (her infidelity being the reason I was filing for divorce), to soothe her own guilt.

I've spent my whole life doing what was expected of me, doing for others. In the same boat as you, brother. Two marriages, for a total of about 17 years. Recent divorce woke me up to this realization. Existential crisis at nearly 40 is a bitch, but the freedom is glorious. I just want to put myself first for once. Don't feel ashamed of that, and don't let anyone else make you feel ashamed for it. So why is it so hard? We're conditioned from birth to be noble providers. It's a hard mold to shatte…

Your daughter knows she can use the grandchild as leverage against you to get what she wants, eventually. She knows you're likely to give in if the situation gets grave enough. Basically, she paints you into a corner. It's a shit situation, but 'tough love' is in order here. Otherwise, it won't get any better. My ex-wife had an adult daughter, who had small children, and I saw this exact strategy play out time after time. My ex was soaked for tens of thousands of dollars over the course of the 6…

Marriage means better sex Nope. Girlfriend sex is 100x better than Wife sex. Girlfriend will put in time and effort to her appearance, and will take great pains to hide the nasty parts of biology. Girlfriend will be an absolute freak in bed, and willing to do just about anything to make you happy. Girlfriend's goal is your joy. Wife will take a dump with the bathroom door open and leave period-stained panties on the floor. Wife stops working out, eating right, wearing perfume, and looking attrac…

Married twice here. Recent divorce about 6 months ago, now single for the first time in nearly 20 years and loving it. First marriage really wasn't that bad for the first 7 or 8 years. We were in our early 20's, so there was a 'magic' about being a young couple and having a child together. Everything was new, and sure there were pitfalls and times of stress & arguing, but overall it really wasn't bad until the end. Discovered MGTOW about two months prior to filing for divorce. Out of town on a business trip, dealing with all kinds of BS from home, stumbled on the "Conversations with Married Men" portion of the mgtow.com page. Holy shit. I read all 9 pages of comments, and realized: 1) I'm not the only one going through this Blue Pill shit. 2) I don't have to put up with it "just for the sake of the marriage". I obtained proof that my ex was cheating on me. Filed for divorce. Profit. It was wonderful.

Because our goalposts are pretty well fixed. We know what we like, and we're usually pretty consistent with it. 'Goal-Post Moving' was an Olympic event with both my ex's. As Indiana Jones said, "It's not the years, it's the mileage." I'll be 40 this year, and I look older than it. Two marriages (totalling 16 years), the death of one child, raising two others, primary breadwinner for all those years, it takes a toll. I started going gray in my late 20's from the stress. That's because it's free. Just think about what sort of people "free ____ " attracts. The free rifle range in my county attracts all sorts of drunks and low-life wanna be cowboys. The paid membership range, however, attracts a more sensible clientele, who know what they're doing and take it seriously. Free admission day at the zoo attracts all sorts of low-rent scumbags. Any tips/"final conclusions" concerning (not only) MGTOW from older/more experienced guys? I'm 22 years old. Don't think of this philosophy as some sort of religion with a set of rules. The core fundamental to keep in mind is to just simply do what you want, seeking validation from no one. Literally the "go your own way" part of MGTOW. How do you cope with the lack of touch/intimacy or loneliness in the long run? Probably a little different from my POV, since I'm almost 40 and have been married …

Neither of my ex-wives will admit that their lies, deception, and adultery lead to the divorce. I've been divorced from my Starter Wife for over 6 years now, and she still says it's because I wasn't "meeting her needs". Wife #2 blamed it on her need to "find herself". They both tell anyone who will listen that it was all my fault. Zero accountability. Must be nice!

From my point of view, it's not grief, but rather a disappointment. Not that I'm disappointed that I'm single after two failed marriages, but more like "this isn't what it was supposed to be" kind of feeling. It's a bit of a lament. In a normal world, two people SHOULD be able to partner up and make it work. Love SHOULD be worth it. But, alas, the feminist movement destroyed so much, and has made women so toxic and disordered, it's an impossibility. Just a shame, really.

Classic. My recent wife would shit-test me all the time. Finally when I'd had enough and told her I was filing for divorce, I thought her head would explode. She was incredulous, couldn't believe I was serious, didn't think I'd be able to make it on my own with the kids. Tears quickly turned to hate once she realized just how serious I was. A little dose of reality popped her fantasy safety net. Best decision of my life so far.

Took a while, but I finally got to the root: Maybe it had to do with our 17-year age difference. At 35, I was a completely different person than I'd been when I got married. Still, I was stuck with the partner 23-year-old me had chosen. Meanwhile, my husband was the same guy he'd been since we met. He was 40 when she met him at 23. Now she's 35 and he's 52. There's been a few. Mostly female friends that I've known since high school, and a couple of work colleagues. I think the main part is that neither of us are trying to land the other. Completely platonic relationships between men and women can exist, provided neither has the motivation to bring the relationship to any higher level. All of my most successful relationships with women have been the platonic ones where we've kept each other at arms length. Only then, once all the pretense is elimina…

I have full custody of my kids, so 'free time' is defined a little differently for me. The cool thing is, they're at ages where we have the freedom to do pretty much anything we want. When they're younger, it's kind of a drag because you're so limited in what you can do; but now it's different. Road trips, hiking, camping, fishing, museums, etc fill most of the free time I get. When I have true solo free time, I'm usually reading, fixing things, or building my latest woodworking project.

or I'll make up some stuff about financial abuse" My first wife tried this one on me during our divorce. I was 'financially abusive' because she chose not to work, and I wouldn't take her on the vacations or buy her the pretty things she thought she deserved. Thankfully, both lawyers had a good laugh over it. Country lawyers, country judge, in the south. Had we been living in a major city, I could see it having traction.

Exactly. My ex used to drag out the housework and make it seem such an awful, soul-crushing burden. Now that I'm single, and it's just me & my kids, I can bust through a weeks' worth of chores in maybe half a Saturday. There's really not much to it. Plus, I run a tight ship, so the kids pick up after themselves. So, no, I don't need to do laundry "allll daaaay". Put it in the washer, it does it for you. Put it in the dryer, it does it for you. Dishes in the dishwasher, does it for you, etc. I'll…

I don't want to sound arrogant, but I'm the best guy she's ever had. Every single one of her exes (and there's many) were total losers. All low income, abusive, drunk, problematic guys. Then she met me, a handsome younger guy with a decent job, money, house, car, well educated and level headed guy.... I honestly think she didn't know how to handle a "normal" relationship and she sabotaged it Well stated. Went through the exact same thing recently. What you described suits my ex to a 'T'.

Nope. Just a matter of perspective. Some people become pacifists because they've studied history, read about the after-effects of war, and have a strong moral aversion to violence. It's natural that pacifism fits them. Meanwhile, others become pacifists because they've been through several tours of duty, have seen the carnage up front, have PTSD, and realize they want nothing more to do with it. Same conclusion, just two different ways of getting there.

Just so they can post it on facebook for the admiration and jealous stabs of all their friends. Of all my FB acquaintances, ONE guy posted something that his gf got for him. You want to see a woman's sex drive dry up like the Sahara, wait till her identity is "Granny" first, "Mom" second, and "Wife" somewhere down towards the end of the list. You speak the truth, bro. Experienced this first-hand with my 2nd wife. I lost a child during my first marriage (daughter - 4 years old). My 2nd wife had zero empathy for the intense bouts of depression that I'd slide into. Whenever I tried to talk about it, she'd either 1) change the subject, 2) avoid me entirely, or 3) try to relate by saying, "Yeah I know how you feel. "Hiding the Joy"...I love it. I got quite good at it in my recent marriage. My job would take me out of town a few days a month...all solo travel. I had to act like it was a major hassle, but inside I looked forward to the trips more than anything. Being able to have a full meal at an Outback and not utter a single fucking word. Total silence. Hotel rooms with king-sized beds all to myself. Complete silence for 10 hours behind the wheel. Oh it was bliss.

Don't get me started on the wives who find pleasure being the "distraction" in the room. The worst is when all they do is berate their husband/boyfriend to where he becomes the brunt of her jokes. Totally dress the guy down in front of his friends and he just sits there, taking it.

Age and shitty relationships will take care of most of this naturally. By my mid 30's I was on my 2nd wife, and my libido dropped considerably. Now in my late 30's and single again, I simply don't care about it anymore. Been to the circus, seen the pretty pony show, got the t-shirt. It's just not worth the effort anymore. I don't agree. Most women have no concept of long-term consequences. Some have a bit of a window in isolation to see it coming and act accordingly. A few, just a few, appear to really understand what decades of their lives will become from doing or not doing one very important thing that needs a lot of thought. Agreed. Independence mostly meaning financial and home-building independence. True independence, not the feminist "i am woman hear me roar" bullshit. I teach her to become independent in that she doesn't need to rely on anyone else in life. I feel this will lessen the likelihood that she'll look for a man to take care of her, if she can adeptly take care of herself. 1) Ongoing. 2) She slants conservative in her thinking, and we have great many discussions on media manipulation & motivations. Also with 3…

I have two kids, so the free time I had when I was married is about the same, but I'm free to use it differently. My kids are old enough to where we can do just about anything and it's not a major pain in the ass. Ever try to go camping with toddlers and a nagging wife? I'd rather take a shovel to the face. But now it's completely stress free. The kids (teen and pre-teen) love it, and we can literally do whatever we want. They're nerds like me, so there's no complaining if I want to do a Star Wa…

Yet, I think must of us come here because of our failures and despair from women. There's a contingent (myself included) that aren't in despair or failure mode from women. Those of us that have been through the war of marriage, and have come out the other side with some horrific battle scars. We've been to the circus, seen the elephant show, and know better than to buy another ticket ever again. The Bible is very clear on the hierarchy of family, society, the church, and relationships. But, today, you have to go to a more fundamentalist church in order to hear things preached the way they ought. The feminist movement neutered most of the contemporary churches you see today. Let the women lead your church, sunday school, music, etc, and it becomes an estrogen-fest. You can also see this in the type of music played during worship services. Most of your contemporary "praise & worship" musi…

Nor I. Thing is, she was clever about hiding the thug rat nature. Literally within the first 6 months of the marriage, it started to come out in small doses. By year 5, it was a 24/7 toxic mess. I took the Ho out of the Hood, but the Hood never left the Ho.

This guy doesn't realize just how replaceable he really is. She wanted a fantasy proposal, she didn't care from whom. Her goal was to compete with her friends, who had similar proposals, and one-up theirs. In truth, he was irrelevant to the proposal...and that's royally just fucked up.

Conditioning. I think we're conditioned from early youth to just accept these things, that it's par for the course of being a husband. We're conditioned to be faithful to the unfaithful, loving to the unlovable, and obedient to the disobedient. I went through it in both my marriages and just kind of brushed it off like, "well, all husbands have to deal with this", sort of eye-roll and soldier on sort of thing. In the Bible, it says that the husband is to be the leader of the family and the wife should submit to him. Modern Christian women are not looking for this type of marriage. They want a husband that they "love." And, they have no desire to submit to him. Came here to say exactly this. Both of my ex-wives would call themselves Christians, but both were dishonest and unfaithful, so go figure. Loneliness is a myth, by and large. I know a few single guys and they will occasionally make comments about missing out on relationships. What you are seeking simply does not exist. If you want a relationship, be prepared to jettison several, if not most, of the above criteria. It's a mental deficiency, wherein they're not able to think long-term happiness, and can only focus on the immediate gratification. Men, in general, view things from a 'wide-angle lens' - we'll look at the totality of a situation - the whole forest, not necessarily the individual trees. Women, in general, are the opposite, and that causes a lot of their bitterness. "What can he do for me today?" becomes the daily question, not "What has he done for me the last 5 years?". In fact one can even go further and state that -- for the most part -- women do not LIKE or WANT, and in fact FEAR and AVOID men who are "too intelligent" (too smart + savvy) ... that is the men who are capable of seeing through the various games and bullshit that women themselves invariably engaged in -- they will tend to actually LOATHE that form and degree of intelligence, because it undermines them and renders all of their "tools" rather powerless and pointless. Yep. She grew to resent my vo…

No, they're not, at least in my experience. It was 10x more frustrating than usual when my ex and I would argue, as I'd have to stop and define a lot of the "big words" I was using. "What does 'detrimental' even mean? SEE!? You just try to confuse me!"

And subsequently, 9 times out of 10, it's just not worth the bullshit that will come with it once the shine wears off.

The Apostle Paul sums it up pretty well in 1 Corinthians 7. Basically, if you want to get married, do so. If you don't, then don't. Solomon had a few things to say in Proverbs about how it's better to be alone than to live with a nagging wife. I'm a Christian, and my conscience is clear about going my own way.

It's also diagnostic of a child's mentality. I'm convinced that most women suffer also from arrested development. They stop maturing emotionally/mentally somewhere in their teen years.

Nope. They've had their heads crammed full of decades' worth of "Follow your heart", and "God wouldn't want you to be so unhappy" bullshit.

To me, this woman just sounds like a stereotypical spoiled child. One in the same, bruh.

That's precisely what lead me to start getting suspicious, and eventually finding my ex-wife's "burner phone" hidden in the closet. Chock full of contacts - male co-workers, high school 'friends', and two former boyfriends. Hence why she's now my ex. I noped the fuck out.

It really is awesome. We're having the time Of our lives and it's only been a short while so far since my ex moved out. Men are equipped to handle these things far better than women are. I look at it sometimes as a business transaction. What my ex brought to the table was very little. Anything lacking from her absence can easily be outsourced. I did 90 percent of the cooking, cleaning, fixing, ironing, even sewing. Her biggest contribution was being here when I had to travel out of town on busin…

In a lot of ways, it's a benefit to the MGTOW movement. Being able to experience the full spectrum of marriage & family, see the inherent danger in shackling yourself to a psychopath, and live to tell the tale. Young men can take warnings from other MGTOW fellows who've never been married, and can also take warnings from those who've 'been there, done that, got the t-shirt'. If I were contemplating shooting heroin, I'd rather take a warning from a former addict than from someone who never shot u…

I'll be sure to check it out. I'm one of the rare few that came out of 2 divorces as the winner. I'll not tempt fate again.

Proverbs 21:9 - Better to live on the corner of a roof than to share a house with a nagging wife. Solomon was the man...hahaha I agree 100% with your post, and would echo the fact that no amount of small temporary satisfaction from a woman is worth the mountain of bullshit that comes with it.

Yeah...I'm a slow learner apparently. This time, I've given everyone I know full unbridled permission to kick the ever-loving shit out of me if I start talking about getting into a relationship again.

It took a lot of heartache and pain to get here though, so don't misunderstand. I was a single dad when they were 8 and 2...that wasn't much of a picnic. Got married a 2nd time, now divorcing again. They're 15 and 9 now, so it's a little easier.

Being a single dad is awesome, just for the record. I've got full custody of my kids (no child support, no alimony, none of it), so we literally do whatever the eff we want.

Finally taking the Red Pill, after years of being bled dry and watching my treasury dwindle to nothing, supporting her loser adult children from her first marriage.

Took me two marriages to realize this, and there will not be a third. I have my kids, no child support, no custody issues. Just us 3 from here on out.

I don't have any pets, but have thought long & hard about getting a dog. I've got two kids from previous marriage (sole custody), and will soon be GMOW once divorce from 2nd wife is complete (walking away from this one with no major issues). So, kids keep me busy enough already.
