As a woman, what's the benefit of marriage? Well, shit, ask my ex-wife to whom I'm paying thousands monthly while she makes as much as I do and she's living in the house I bought.

What do we want for my romantic relationship? See, here's what you're not getting. Doesn't matter what we want. And there's probably a wide variability of what the men in this sub want. But all the men in the sub are subject to the ridiculous laws of marriage. All of us. We can't escape that, and you can't escape it by making choices in your individual relationship in any particular man. So until you change all of those laws, shrug, we just don't care.

Well, our ancestors were also only like 4.5 feet tall. Just because they survived doesn't mean they were getting the optimal nutrition for building muscle/strength as rapidly as possible. There are a zillion supplements sold for bodybuilding, only one is worth a damn: creatine. You don't need it though. All the protein powders, I don't even consider those "supplements": they're just food that happens to be high in protein. Whey protein powder... it's just whey. From milk/dairy. Dried up and powd…

For calorie amounts, go here: https://www.muscleforlife.com/macronutrient-calculator/ Recovery literally takes time. 48-72 hours is a good guideline for novices. So if you trained arms on Monday, don't do arms again till Wednesday or Thursday. Twice a week is sufficient for where you are. So train different muscles on Tuesday, not whatever you did Monday. It's likely you need more protein. I say that because most people that aren't specifically focused on protein don't get enough for building …

Eh, I don't know how scammy that aspect is. To a degree I think entering a contest would be a great motivator to work out and diet and be healthy. Now... all those supplements they sell.... that is something that is pretty scammy!

No, if you worked hard enough, you would not look like the Hulk. He has a FFMI (fat free mass index) over 25 and that's generally not possible without steroids. The main way genetics restricts you is your "insertions". This is where the tendons insert themselves into the bone. A centimeter of difference vastly changes the moment arm / applied force. So this changes how strong you will be, but not the size of your muscle. As in, two dudes with exactly 4 pound biceps might have very different maxi…

Losing weight, in a way, is easier, because even if you do nothing your body is going to burn 1500-2000 calories all on its own. (Depending on your lean mass quantity / weight.) So if you control the input and do jack shit... you'll still lose weight. Gaining muscle, on the other hand, means you have to 1) Eat enough to be in a caloric surplus 2) Get 1 gram of protein per pound of bodyweight, maybe a bit more. 3) Get to the gym often and lift heavy weights. So... there's the three things you hav…

You can swap the search terms around if it tingles your political fancies. If we define the GOP as "low taxes and build a wall" I don't think that correlates very well with MGTOW. Seems like you would see more feminism with Democrats, but then again, 52% of women voted for Trump, he wouldn't be in there without that female majority. Neither side is addressing divorce/custody in my view.

You don't have a lot of options while jobless or low paid. You're stuck there. So you need training for a better job. Welding is a good one, because it has certifications that are recognized in other countries. So get that, get a job offer in Sweden, then ask the court to give you full/primary custody on the basis that you can provide a better life for the child.

I see that you don't understand. Because the laws are what they are, it DOESN'T MATTER if any particular woman is good or bad, as the risks are too high. Who wrote the laws: immaterial to the argument. But still bad faith, of course men wrote most of the laws if men also founded the country. More relevant would be "percentage of laws related to child custody and support advanced by women since they could vote".

From a web site on the birth process: " When you face stress or pain, your body produces calming and pain-relieving hormones called endorphins. You may have higher levels of endorphins near the end of pregnancy. For women who don’t use pain medication during labor, the level of endorphins continues to rise steadily and steeply through the birth of the baby. High endorphin levels can make you feel alert, attentive and even euphoric (very happy) after birth, as you begin to get to know and care fo…

Here are your current priorities: Top priority: I desire to be with a christian man Lower priority: I desire to be a wife and a mother You are complaining that you have not achieved a goal that is secondary to you. I'm saying that it's clear why, as it's obviously not your top priority. If it was, then you would compromise on other things that were less important to you.

You said it yourself: "I don't have a problem attracting guys". Given this, it means that whatever is driving your decision making process for screening men is out weighing your desire to be a mom and a wife.

Data from the CDC: https://www.cdc.gov/nchs/products/databriefs/db329.htm "rates were significantly higher for males than females. For males, the rate increased from 8.2 in 1999 to 29.1 in 2017. For females, the rate increased from 3.9 in 1999 to 14.4 in 2017. " So there was a 3.69x increase for women slightly higher than the 3.54x increase for men, who were ALREADY dying at over twice the rate... but let's not mention that AT ALL in this female-authored article.

# the data from dating apps has quantified women's true nature Before, one could argue about what some women were like, but there was always the escape of "oh, no, that's a rare case, average women like average men and really, trust us, the whole thing is fair for everyone". Now that the data exists on the actual behaviour of women, it's no longer possible to avoid the rational conclusions.

Do we even have to guess? Just look to Japan, where they already have men withdrawing from typical expected behavior (although for different reasons). Are the women there changing anything?

I know a lot of women who find being "right" very important. I bet if you ask yourself, prior to voicing your opinion, "is this mostly about me being right?" and when it was, not offering that suggestion, that would go a long way to "being or appearing to be more submissive". Example: the two of you are driving somewhere. You get to a stop sign and he puts on his turn signal to turn right, indicating he's headed toward the highway. You believe (and you could be 100% correct) that turning left, t…

At least one answer: no, it's not natural. This falls into the "you'll get used to anything in enough time". Look at enough weird stuff, and you get used to weird stuff ,and once you're used to it it's not strange anymore and suddenly it's normal. If weird porn is causing trouble, how about you collect some of the most vanilla porn possible, like simple naked women, and view only that for 6 months. Get your brain used to something new.

Pretty sure, yep. The next vehicle (the truck) is _way_ back and trust me, modern motorcycles of nearly any displacement have acceleration potential that would astound a car driver. Car driver is legally wrong, no question. Biker screwed up and brought this on himself through his own risky behavior: 1) Chose to install under-bar mirror (less rearward visibility) 2) Comes to a stop in what should be a free-flowing road 3) Doesn't check his mirror (you would expect a slight head dip in the video) …
/r/MGTOW07/01/19 06:51 PM

The thing about riding a motorcycle is you have to be way less concerned with "who's fault is it?" because usually by the time you're asking that question, you've got some crushed bones. Yes, she clearly is wrong because she hit a stopped vehicle. But just because she is legally wrong doesn't mean the motorcyclist didn't make a stupid mistake.

As a rider... I'm gonna call out the rider on this one. It appears the dude STOPPED in a yield-marked merge on ramp. Is that "illegal" probably not but as a motorcyclist your job is to make damn sure you don't put yourself in a bad spot, as you will lose every vehicle to vehicle confrontation.

A tub of protein is great... but there's nothing magic about it. It's protein, of the the three basic macronutrients (protein, carbs, fat) that make up all food. So, if you're trying to get to a certain level (and you should be) of protein, it helps. Basics: get at least 1 gram of protein per pound of body weight a day. Tell someone the name you picked for your unborn son? You'll immediately hear about the horrible guy they dated with the same name. Tell them you got a nipple shield and it's made breast feeding easier? You're about to hear about how they had a friend who got a weirdo infection from one of those...

Take an interest in cooking. At least have a few things that you can actually cook and know how they work. I'd recommend things like a really good pot of chili, a good chicken soup, and a spiced up chicken breast with some peppers. because no matter what happens in your life you're going to have to eat. In fact... shouldn't we expect even MORE sliding till an equilibrium is reached at like 97/3? The women will become more and more selective the longer online dating has been in their life. Once Tinder has been around since you first noticed boys at age 10... Currently we're in a place where there are still some adult women who are trying this for the first time in 2018. That won't be the case five, ten years from now.

The wonderful (or horrific) nature of the event, even if rare, is sufficient. Ask yourself this: if one out of 1,000 cups of coffee was in…

There's a big difference between "hating women", which is misogyny, and just wanting to go do other things. You can choose a side of mashed potatoes instead of brussel sprouts without hating brussel sprouts. You can choose whatever role you like. That's actually what folks here are proponents of. However, just like all people, male or female... every choice is a compromise, and no one can have it all.

Those are some large paragraphs... that 100 percent avoid addressing my statement. Secondarily, issues related to reporting, conviction, post incident interview procedure, as unsavory or unpalatable as they may be, are unrelated to avoiding the act itself. It's like you're afraid of a bank robbery taking place in an ice cream shop.
/r/MGTOW217/08/18 10:18 AM

The rape scenarios you describe above are not the ones that are statistically likely. It is of very little used to be afraid in those situations, when you're much more likely to be raped by someone you know, in a place that you are comfortable.

Reference tools like a library are best when you're trying to solve a problem. So... pick a problem. Like "should I rent an apartment or buy a house?" Finding the answer teaches you about loans and finances, so, win. Or " I want to learn about the various military branches." Or "how can I get a job fishing offshore?" Here is your answer, it's the classic snake comparison: You only ever hear about snakes when they bite people. You never hear about the millions of snakes that don't bite people, there's no news there. However, if the snake's venom is poisonous enough, you still fear the snake, because just one bite could kill you. It doesn't have to be all snakes, because ONE SNAKE IS ENOUGH to seriously damage your life.

Research the statistics on happiness of married couples with children versus without. The sign says you'll be happier not having children. More life enjoyment, a better life. In fine with gay men as MGTOW. They've certainly gone their own way from women. If they're on board with "never marry a woman never cohabitate with a woman" it seems fine. After all, while I have no romantic/sexual interest in other men, MARRYING ONE (as a man) does avoid the court bias and societal pussy pass that is one of the main drivers behind the MGTOW philosophy.

There are fat people who are getting fatter with "I have (insert problem/condition) that's why I'm fat" and there are fat people getting skinnier who weigh their portions, track their macronutrient intake, have calorie targets, research diet/biology, and accept slow change. These groups generally don't overlap. If you're fat and you don't know the above, yeah, it's your fault: you're trying to control a process that you don't even care enough to learn about.

All of my admittedly anecdotal evidence (online dating chats) is that the man is writing paragraphs and getting 3 words back. Or more often, ZERO. I'd love to see the actual data released, I'm sure my observation is very universal. HOWEVER, what's not explicit in this video is that she's only attempting to converse with Chad, having already fully ignored 9 other vebose conversations, and yeah, that's an accurate depiction of the amount of effort Chad needs to put in.

You'll probably find that "holy crap, hitting this protein number means eating very differently!" A 200lb guy trying to get 200-260 g protein a day.... a couple cans of tuna and bunch of eggs and some protein powder is gonna be where you start and then work in your "real food". Compared to USRDA of 56 g protein/day for a male, and you'll start to get a sense of the scale of the task.

There's no magic supplements to do what you wanted to do. You'll need to figure out your lean body mass, come up with your base metabolic requirements from that, then look at getting around somewhere from 1 to 1.3 times your bodyweight in pounds in an grams of protein per day. match up the remaining two macronutrients, that is, carbohydrates and fats, to hit your calorie goal. To me, this one of the huge failings of modern feminism, in that it's commonly espoused "You're a woman, you can have it all!" when that is not true. You can have any of it. Not all of it though. Bingo! Mgtow is a cold calculation that says with the current conditions, the current laws, the current setup, women are too dangerous to get involved with compared to the benefits their company provides. There's certainly a quantity of ill-will Within people that are part of this community, but that doesn't mean that the philosophy is driven by that. I know the sun will burn me, that's just science, I might hate the Sun, or I might like it, but that doesn't change the analytical aspect of me kn…

Couples like hanging out with couples. Single people generally desire to do things that are more spontaneous and require fewer anchors holding you down. So even if you leave mgtow entirely out of it, it's very common that people that are single, they're married friends go off and do cutesy whatever on the weekends, while the single people are out having other different kinds of Adventures.

As far as I know, any Reddit user can up or down vote any Reddit thread that they can get to. So I guess that excludes banned people, but fair game for everyone else. Ridiculous pillow. It is impossible that it was designed, manufactured, transported, sold, inventory, and had its base materials fabricated and delivered without multiple men involved. Well, unless it's some weirdo hippie cult pillow from an all female cotton plantation, but that seems exceedingly unlikely. The available text: Women are backing out of divorce cases because settlements are becoming less generous, experts have said. Fewer wives are being awarded income for life and they are increasingly having their divorce settlement limited to a few years. This is making some of them back off from going through with a split, law firms say. In a landmark case in 2014, the High Court ruled that judges should prioritise a "transition to independence", even if this involved "a degree of (not undue) har…

When my father was sick and dying of cancer my mom literally said to him "I'm so tired of this. Why don't you hurry up and die already?" A week later he was dead. She was messing with his will even before he died. I went home for a memorial (because he was my dad) and didn't speak to her ever again. She died a couple years later. When we were kids, she would always jokingly say "You'll miss me when I'm dead!" She was wrong. Fuck her.

Well, it's a lot easier if the woman is ugly but competent. So the man isn't interested in her sexually, but enjoys some particular activity that they both share an interest and competency in. That can work.

Interesting note also on the disparity of strength. I've been going to the gym for about 5 months, so I am a beginner. I don't have a particularly physically demanding job, so no unusual head starts as far as physical strength. Compared to the women I see there, I am using somewhere between three and five times as much weight as they are. They might have 30 or 40 lb on a machine and I'm doing 180 or 190. And I am not a strong guy at the gym. And, to add to the selection bias, these are the women…

So correct. What does intimidate me? Another man 4" taller than me with 20 more pounds of muscle. I've rarely ever been in fights but that process of estimating the potential strength of other men is automatic. A smart woman? No, you don't intimidate me. You know more about some particular topic than I do? Neat. You're actually smarter than me? Cool... but my non-statistially valid anecdotal evidence is those women end up believing that gives them a license to boss everyone around.

I agree that your observation is correct (that career women are often single). I don't think has much to do with the man's preferences. Female nature is going to say "Well, if I make $120,000... then I deserve a man who makes $180,000. And I'm obviously a prize, my statistically above average salary proves that, so I won't settle." And in doing this... they've just eliminated about 97% of men from their pool. So, surprise, they're not moms. How to achieve marriage when you are a career-oriented …

Ask yourself this: would you bet whatever half your net worth is at 40 years old.... on a coin toss? That's divorce. It doesn't matter that examples of people winning the coin toss exist. The odds of playing the game are horrible. And even winning the coin toss comes with a fairly high price involved with dealing with another human forever. And not playing that particular game ends up giving you pretty much everything else you want. So why play?

Some say yes, some say no. Likely the trouble is that many women don't enjoy the dynamic when men treat them like men (that is, being entirely indifferent to the fact that they're women, so, treating them equally).

Let's say men are strawberry ice cream, and women are a chocolate chip cookie. Sexism would be "pfff, strawberry ice cream is clearly better than a chocolate chip cookie". MGTOW is "Look brothers, you eat chocolate chip cookies, you're gonna get fat. Don't do that, you'll be healthier." The statement has nothing to do with whether chocolate chip cookies are delicious, or whether it's better or not than strawberry ice cream. Higher bandwidth absolutely is better, if you need to listen to sounds that are very high pitched. If all the frequencies are below around 5000 Hertz, then you need none of that. So the answer is yes, the higher bandwidth is better, but not for the particular content you're looking at. Or more accurately, listening to. The human voice does not use a very high bandwidth. Music, with high hats and whistles and symbols, that does. So use lower bandwidth for voice products and content, and it will b…

I believe my husband having a stable, relatively high income is essential for my biggest goal Although it may be distasteful to you "I have things I want to do and I will chose a man who can pay for that" is pretty much the definition of gold-digging. The things you desire may ultimately be noble. The man may want them as well. Society may look favorably on the result. You'll have less cognitive dissonance if you accept that part of your selection criteria is "how much money can this man get me?…

But those are things that don't make us who we are, so you mean to say that men only love us for what we offer to them as opposed to who we are?. Plus that's something anyone can pretend to offer too. From a philosophical point of view, there's no difference to the man. If you spent your life "pretending" to be a kind and happy woman, but internally, you really thought "I am actually an grumpy tomato plant", the man, who never knows you think you're a tomato plant, experiences a kind and happy w…

Be cautious about valuing efficiency. Productivity is, literally, getting things done. So you may have to things to do, that could efficiently be combined, if you wait and do them both together 2 weeks from now. Or you could inefficiently get them both done today. There is a value to having them accomplished to work on the next thing.

If you want to look at just the graph of the search term "MGTOW" you can do that here: https://trends.google.com/trends/explore?date=all&q=mgtow It's more dramatic as it's scaled, but I thought that showing the amount of interest relevant to a similar topic would be more useful. I'm actually surprised that "mgtow" searches are even near 20% of "feminism" searches. That's surprisingly large.

I've been hanging around the MGTOW forum for a while, there's certainly a spectrum of opinion with the group. Just about the only thing that's universally agreed upon there is something along the line of "given the laws in US states in 2018 and statistical probability of divorce, it's not worth putting half of the assets you've accumulated as a man on the line for the experience of marriage". Just from context, I'm going to guess you're 17/18 years old. I am a failure when it comes to cleaning, cooking, etc Compared to going to college, this is not a hard thing to fix. Your point number 2 about condensed conversations resonates with me. Often with my ex, I would have like four sentences that I wanted to say. I would get through sentence 1, start on sentence 2, and be interrupted by arguing about sentence one. Sentences 2, 3, and 4 would explain how sentence one worked. But I never got to those, because an argument was already starting. After three or four attempts to complete the four sentences that I wanted to say, I just gave up and walked away.

It will be a while, so no breath holding. I can tell everyone this though: pre-nups (at least in my state) are filed at the county court house. If a partner of mine wanted to make a sex tape.... I'd insist it was actually that: tape. As in "go find yourself an old VHS camera". Yeah, I know one can convert anything, but having it be analog would make the duplication of it slower. And I actually don't know any women who have ever managed to get analog stuff actually converted. They had men do it for them.

If you want a compromise, just do audio. Put the phone on record, and just set it down. Ten years from now, you can play it back and remember how you felt, the sounds of the voices will trigger all the emotions. That will allow you to experience it without f'ing around with a camera.

Example: A child goes up to another child at the playground and pushes them. The parent observes, without evaluating. Does not deem the behavior positive or negative, and does nothing. End result: the world gets a little bit crappier.

Perhaps step one is realizing that the worst/loudest crap comes from the most upset people. The majority comment much less, and have positions less extreme. For instance, I feel that the core tenet of MGTOW is only "For men, in 2018, in America, the risks of marriage, combined with the large failure rate of marriages, far exceed the possible rewards, and thus men should opt out of marrying." If I posted that, though, it's pretty much too bland for anyone's attention. What rises to the top is the…
