Try living with your parents at 39 because it's the only way to save up for your own house... I do have a good job, but houses are insanely expensive, and I don't want to rent anymore. Exactly. Even without a partner you'll be fine if you have a large enough social circle around you. It's not lack of sex, it's social isolation and loneliness that gets you. And this is not necessarily tied to economic status, you can be very successful in your career and then fall into a black hole at the end of the day because you don't have a single person to talk to outside of work.

They sold it as a perfect method for stopping the clock and you could delay having kids for as long as you want. If you want to protect yourself from this, the only way is to get a PO box and have all mail addressed in your name get rerouted to the PO box. Migrate to another country, the US is insane. My sister blew up her marriage and her ex husband pays about €150 ($180) a month in child support. No alimony. Not at all. I did the same thing to get my weight back on track. Now I do OMAD to keep the weight off. From evolution standpoint of view, why would your body eat your muscles first when food is in short supply? You need those muscles to obtain more food. Your fat is the preferred reserve tank. If you plan do to longer fasts, I would recommend taking multivitamins and extra electrolytes (magnesium, salt) like OP says, you are going to feel dizzy and miserable if you run low on these.

I did get a job after high school and did evening classes in college for 3 years to get my degree in computer science. While working a full-time job... You have to be incredibly lucky to get a decent job that doesn't require a degree. Most places won't even invite you over for an interview without it. Even if I make the big jump to become self-employed, any potential clients will be looking up my name online to see what education and experience I have.
