You can listen to audiobooks while just about anything is going on, with a bluetooth headset (you know, one of those one-ear things for making phone calls that old people wear). Yes, in that case it's social proof. Honestly, I recommend a therapist. MGTOW isn't practical for people who are depressed (mostly because there are no MGTOW-friendly therapists). So get therapy, and get that depression kicked.

I have found the very best urban camouflage to be Cocoons. They're excellent sunglasses to put over your eyeglasses. They're also something that never and will never be fashionable. If you have these hanging on your shirt, or on a magnetic sunglasses clip, let me tell you, you have yourself some serious camouflage. Honestly, it grants one social invisibility, though some may look at you and give a smirk, like "wow is that guy (socially) dumb". Ah, proof it's working!
