I'm confused. If an ugly guy is the opposite of that, is he not ugly anymore? Women date attractive men because they are attractive, nothing more.

Oh, I don't hang around with anyone like that

So, I guess that I'm on the right path?

And I need both of those to get to know people, and for people to know me

U aren't, but I know the solution isn't to stop trying. Everything in life requires effort. If you want something, you put effort into getting it. I'm not saying that you shouldn't give different advice, but this advice sounds contradictory. Besides, I just want to solve this dilemma I'm in. I know that I need confidence and charisma and what have you.

OK, thank you for the advice. I find it really useful.

How is not trying gonna help anything? Wasn't the general advice to actually try until I succeed?

I said it's like one, not that it is one. I have to keep doing it over and over again in order to get one of them to say yes.

There were too girls I knew, and both would say shit like this. One was pansexual, and the other was omnisexual. They weren't good people themselves, but it's the same mantra. However, if you were like those Asian men they were obsessed over, you got a pass.

Fuck it, I'm just gonna try until sumn just works. What I'm getting at is I just keep doing it until someone says yes.

That sounds like a numbers game.

It's not about me, but wouldn't it include me? In their framework, it wouldn't matter if I'm somehow different than other guys; I'm still a guy, so they avoid me.

And I understand that! What about women who have a lean toward men but don't bother spending time to find a good one?
/r/ExRedPill23/04/24 11:53 PM

Nah, I included the bisexual part as a pot of them just realize that they can just date women instead, so they don't have to stress about finding good men.

I know that, and it causes me to lose hope. I'm not even attractive enough to even be tolerated.

So if there's no formula and no algorithm, what can I do? Just keep doing it until it works?
/r/ExRedPill23/04/24 11:22 PM

That's not what I am talking about. I am saying that these shitty men cause women to believe that dudes are like that in general.
/r/ExRedPill23/04/24 11:07 PM

I am not talking about their decisions. I am talking about how some men would give the impression that how they act is how men are.
/r/ExRedPill23/04/24 10:23 PM

Then how do I get a girlfriend if there's no formula? Is it just thoughts and prayers that the girl is impressed by me?
/r/ExRedPill23/04/24 08:39 PM

You should also learn to get your mind off of stuff. Why do you care that some shitty dudes get dates and have sex? It's a breach of firmly placed ethical codes of conduct. Imagine you're told this is how you treat women for them to like you, which all boils down to kindness and respect, and then you have this guy who does the opposite and still gets results. That's pretty fucked. What's worse is that now there are more women out there who refuse to date men because they think that there is a ch…

That sounds like a happier life than putting dating at the center of your life. I think I'm doing better now with talking to women by just not focusing on results (I even got two girls' numbers today). When I'm telling jokes or having discussions, I'm doing it because I like it and I want to have fun with people. If there's a girl I'm interacting with who I like and the convo is going well, I'll just say that I like her and I wanna save her number. I noticed that it's much better this way than b…

Well, what I know now is that if you like a girl, just ask her for her number and be clear with your intentions; if you seem to click with a girl, go for it.

Chaos theory can help with observing social behavior in a collective manner and understanding why even distribution happens.

Yeah, I take all of that into account. To me, if she says no, it's no problem, and I will let her know that it's no problem. Sorry that I didn't say this sooner.

Ahh OK, got it
/r/ExRedPill02/04/24 01:01 PM

Yeah, you're absolutely right. Which is why, in most cases, I would be blameless for any girl not liking me for some physical feature I can't (normally) control. I need to be less attached to the desire to have a girlfriend, as I'm not gonna get what I want via craving. Women are humans, too, and humans are fleeting and impermanent. I just have to be honest about my intentions and whatever happens, happens.

I know my worth, and I know what traits I have that are likable. I know what I can provide and what I deserve. I'm not going to let anyone define who I am, as I am deeply undefined. Thank you for the reassurance, I am quite charmed!

Thank you! Of course, this is easier said than done, but luckily, I'm in therapy.

Yessss! We love a king who decides to be people! <3 Thank you, I'm charmed! If she acts mean about it, she wasn't worth your time to begin with and you dodged a bullet. Not only that, but she also missed an opportunity to have a great time with me!

Are you actually short or average? I notice a lot of guys who buy into red pill think they're short if they're not like 6'0 or taller. I am 5'4", so I'm definitely short. Regardless, it's not your job to walk around on eggshells over things you can't control. Ask women out, some will be happy, some might not be, either way you did nothing wrong. Yeah, that's kind of the mindset I'm trying to build now. If I ask a girl out, it's a compliment. So if she feels insulted, that's her loss.

Yeah, I understand this clearly. Thank you for this. Therapy is not a quick fix. Any progress you make will probably take time / many visits. That's what she told me too; she told me that I'd benefit from multiple visits.

This was an interesting read. Thank you for this. Also, I am pretty sure that I am schizophrenia, but it does contain depression as a complication.

I live in Jamaica. It's pretty americanized, tho, in some respects. I'm saying this as this height thing is likely of US origin.
/r/ExRedPill28/02/24 08:56 PM
1

Ohh, I see. It's something else tho, cuz I can't find any girls in my age group who don't give a shit about height. Either I try to date someone shorter than me or date in my 30s.
/r/ExRedPill28/02/24 08:37 PM
1

I know that quite well. Just wanna make sure that I date whoever is comfortable with my height and not bullshit me later on.
/r/ExRedPill28/02/24 01:31 PM
3

Well yeah true. I've had women call me cute b4.
/r/ExRedPill27/02/24 05:28 PM

Ah, well, at least I understand this a bit better. The best bet is to date someone at least an inch shorter than me, which shouldn't be hard.
/r/ExRedPill27/02/24 02:50 PM
2

your answer is “yes,” then you might actually want to start inviting more tall girls on dates. You could find a great connection with someone who finds you attractive, exactly as you are, and that’s a good feeling! We'll, I'm 5'4", so I have found many girls who are taller than me attractive lol Thanks for the reassurance
/r/ExRedPill27/02/24 11:04 AM
1

Well, wouldn't assorted mating apply to height, or is there a weak correlation?
/r/ExRedPill27/02/24 12:57 AM
3

As an example, let's refer back to a study that found most hetero relationships consisted of the man taller than the woman with an average difference of 5-6 inches. You can't then conclude much at all about shorter than average men based on this as the available data doesn't even reference the actual heights of the study participants or provide any observations about short men in the discussion portion. I don't think you can even conclude that it's the guy's height that made him successful eithe…
/r/ExRedPill27/02/24 12:19 AM

Right, so I shouldn't just trust anyone just for presenting data regarding this issue, as it's too complex to give certainty about.
/r/ExRedPill26/02/24 11:43 PM
7

OK, I think I gained more of an understanding about this, thank you.
/r/ExRedPill26/02/24 11:35 PM
2

I guess you'd also have to take into account how strong or weak this preference is and what is prioritized more, right?
/r/ExRedPill26/02/24 11:34 PM
7

That would mean that preferences aren't very predictable. Edit: not being dismissive, btw
/r/ExRedPill26/02/24 11:18 PM
-1

That would mean that the average doesn't actually matter, right?
/r/ExRedPill26/02/24 11:01 PM

It's cuz you said the average man is taller than the average woman, which means that an average man would date an average woman. Using that as a starting point, the height gap would be consistent across most couples. I was asking for the average height gap between a short guy (less than 5'7") and a short girl (less than 5'4") in a relationship.
/r/ExRedPill26/02/24 10:49 PM

I know it's not a rule, I'm just asking, what's the average height gap between a short guy and a short girl in a relationship?
/r/ExRedPill26/02/24 10:38 PM

Well, whatever they are, most are saying that
/r/ExRedPill26/02/24 10:32 PM

Then, how short would a short guy's gf be (5'6" or lower)?

Oh, thank you for the reassurance. Do you see a therapist? I would, but I don't have the money. My college is putting a limit on the amount of free counseling per semester too.

I think it's because women can't actually see things from men's perspective. Only a few women have (like Norah Vincent, for example) and that still isn't enough. There are trans men who have successful sex reassignments only to realize how difficult it is for a guy to simply exist. This does not invalidate women's experiences, but feminism hasn't really done anything good for men in the past 20 - 30 years.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/07/23 06:52 AM

The problem with your example is that men only end up in these situations if they done something wrong. Just don't get into any trouble and you'll be fine.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/07/23 06:41 AM
You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
