Haha, okay then! I should ask my husband what I can cook for him... except that we don't hve an oven, or a food processor, hmmm.

Is pecan pie a euphemism? That's a good idea. I'm not the OP but I'm always looking for some special things that don't require humoring that will make my husband's night better.

Even though it was sarcastic, it wasn't helpful, which is why I was asking for alternatives.

Maybe the thread should be titled 'how can I understand what would make my man's life better through mindreading and brainstorming with other women on the internet?' ;)

They're trying their best. I know a lot of these suggestions would work for my husband, though some of them definitely won't. Hopefully OP will have done something that suits her particular SO instead of going with something she'd like. What would your suggestions be? Aside from saying yeh LOLOL, men LOVE THIS!!! hahahahahah , which isn't super helpful IMO.

It might be good for you to find some space within the house that is just for you - a retreat, as it were. Have you got space for that?

But do beware that many people don't want to come home and socialise when they've been at the office all day...home should be a sanctuary, and visitors might not be what your man needs in his sanctuary!

It's the same as Men's rights activism, or to a lesser extent feminism... Legitimate social issues are being ignored and the movement as a whole is ridiculed, because the majority of people involved in it are very vocal but not yet very educated.

that's it really. I get that there's a lot of anger when people are unplugging, but some of it is pretty harsh and people listen to it without thinking.

I'm not saying women don't manipulate people, I'm saying that psychologically undermining someone is a shitty way to get them to do things.

Do women actually want to be psychologically undermined? Huh.

This is why I like this place so much better than /r/theredpill. Some of the guys there are totally into manipulating women, eg this exchange but I think /mrp does a great job of remembering that women and men are partners in a marriage.

If the only way to keep a high SMV woman is to psychologically belittle her, maybe you should be happy with someone closer to your SMV.

She made bad decisions, over and over, to keep having an affair. That's not a one-time mistake, that's a campaign of lies and deceit.

No. It's so hard for me to enjoy sex when I'm always so tired. You don't have to love sex, but if you love your partner you should really put in the effort sometimes if it's not causing you actual pain. Have you spoken to him about this? "I'm not able to do x, y, and z because I am physically too tired. Would you be interested in a,b,or c instead? I would like to make you feel good." Feel free to PM me if you want suggestions for specific activities that can be done in a low-physical-effort way.

There are meds that zap your energy, which means less exercise.

Really, it shouldn't? I know it's all 'do it for yourself' but this is MRP, most of the people here have chosen their partner and are in it for life...it's not wrong to appreciate the respect of your partner.

Yes, she's being a bitch, but she is the mother of your child(ren) and a newborn, and is recovering from a major surgery. Man up and stop thinking of yourself for a few weeks, and be caring (not supplicating) to her. You don't have to give in to unreasonable demands but I think making her a sandwich is not unreasonable.

Helps you keep track of your spending, and lets you return things without it being a hassle. Great for when your new shoes break immediately, or you realise that you got the wrong size. I keep mine in a pocket in my Filofax, but you can also use your wallet then transfer them to a small folder or box. Throw out the little ones after a while, but keep the receipts for big-ticket items for longer.

Just FYI, 'spendthrift' refers to someone who spends a lot, not someone who is thrifty :)

If it's physically hurting you, that needs to be addressed. Lots of other things to do besides PIV.

Is she into vintage/retro stuff? There are some super cute retro bikes in cute pastel colours that you could get her as a Christmas present! With a basket and a pretty helmet?

You reckon? It's identifying an issue and explaining how it makes her feel, then acting in a way that makes hr feel safe without harassing/undermining her man.

What do you ladies think? There's a little bit of female dread game there, that I don't like, but the ideas seem solid to me otherwise. It seems to deal with the issue of communication well: instead of suggesting that they talk, talk, talk, it suggests that the woman explains her feelings and then lets her husband do with that what he will. Seems like a mature way of addressing anger issues, and much more compatible with the communication style of most men.

You're only eighteen! There is time for braces, or surgery if you really want, when you're a little older & more financially stable. In the mean time, relax & enjoy the ride.

Tbh, I think bikini beach photos are fine. But limit them to one or two, and don't use them as your profile picture!

That's certainly how I feel. I would consider myself politically feminist: equal rights, equal pay, reproductive freedom, etc. However, in terms of heterosexual relationships, I would certainly say that men and women are equal but different.
