We still don't need those magazines... certainly not their advice on relationships or sex. Cosmo's tips for both are just horrendous.

That's not quite true. Actually, they do have a duty to respond. However, this only means they have to show up/send an officer to the emergency call. The case you're referring to established that the police do not have to actually provide a specific service in any instance. Their only duty is to respond. For example, if you call the police because there's someone in your house attacking you the police have to respond to your call, but they don't have to do anything beyond show up. So, like in th…

Well if you feel it works for ya, keep at it. I do think you're on to something with the "chemistry of three" theory; if one is interested in you, the other two still have each other.

In a bar setting, approach the group and offer to buy them a round. Lolwut. That's a terrible idea. First, that's expensive and second, that's unnecessary. You don't even know these people and you're spending your hard earned money on them? Maybe, MAYBE, do it after talking for a bit if they're particularly cool or they will reciprocate. Just walking up and throwing money (drinks) at women is not going to get their panties wet. Just... no.

Hey thanks for offering this, Tony. whilst remember a while back you posted your "Greatest Hits 2011-2012" and it helped me out. A lot. So thanks for that as well. You do fine work, keep it up. Peace.

There's some good shit in the video you posted, but that link in the info box... Lel. That webinar or whatever sounds like total shit. "Stealth seduction, tricks to get sexy, hot women to sleep with you. Guaranteed. Listen to the end to find out how to get ANY woman to sleep with you no matter what." Yeh ok sure

My go-to dates: shooting range (it's exciting, memorable, and often a new experience for the girl) climbing gym on nice days, a walk in the park is fine. Maybe follow it up with some ice cream of a drink afterwards. bowling (it's one of those things that is so fuckin' lame it's cool. Plus the spot near me is actually a fun bar/billiards hall/bowling alley all in one) science center and of course the tried and true: coffee (or drinks if she's 21+). A chill spot with board games for patrons is usu…

I think you may feel this way because you are judging your value/self-worth as a man based on the women you pursue. That's what it sounds like to me... but maybe I'm just projecting my problem on you.

Too fucking right. I was out with a guy the other night for NYE who was doing exactly this. I would call him a natural. It honestly turned out pretty well and girls joined our group throughout the night. He said things that entertained him (not in a jerky way) and it drew in the kinda people we wanted to hang with. I remember one thing he said that was absolutely gold: We were at some apartment after the bars and he found some dry erase markers and began writing math problems on the sliding glas…

if you can't live without it then you will never be happy because people/women are unpredictable Yes, solid advice here. /u/rpgkingpin is spot on. If you aren't ok with yourself, don't expect anyone else to be. I don't believe there is any one person out there who can "complete" you. This may be just me... but I believe the best relationships are not between people who depend on the other to feel whole, but between people who are whole in and of themselves.

This pointed out something that has become a problem for me. I knew something was wrong, I could feel it. But I couldn't articulate what it was. Reading these selections below, I saw myself. [Some men] don’t like being too vulnerable around women, they want to keep any emotional investment to a minimum, even after physical intimacy. And Let’s face it, this is a lifestyle that requires vulnerability, you have to put yourself out there, and sometimes when you put yourself out there and it doesn’t …

Hey man, thanks for your input and the link. I haven't the time to read the entire thing but I've enjoyed it so far. Interesting note about will-power; never really thought about it like that to be honest. I do want to say, however, I did not mean to suggest that I don't have fear, or that we should pretend that fear doesn't exist. I've found that to be counterproductive. I find fear very real. It's a motivating factor; that's why Who DARES Wins. You know? If it wasn't daunting, no matter what t…

Good. I'm glad you found something that resonates with you. I didn't really feel a strong message from the numerous other mantras floating around. You gotta find something for you. I just found mine.

Proper job, man and good-looking FR. Sounds like you've done well identifying and improving on your weakpoints. But one thing glares at me: Negging her on appearance. I've always been conflicted about this... I feel that a little honest compliment (but not a shower of affirmation) on how she looks goes a long way. Girls usually spend a good amount of time on their appearance and appreciate that you notice. Anyone else wanna weigh in on that?

I approve of your conduct and this strategy. And you're right: literally no downside. Good luck.

Not acting interested in their conversation sounds solid. But I would probably keep one ear on the chatter, just to make sure they don't get too deep and "forget" you. I've had that happen. So if you sense the girls are drifting too far, you can make a contextually appropriate interjection to derail that conversation.

That's fine, I'll stay in your spot and enjoy it enough for the both of us

Well, I'm glad someone got a good education from public school haha. What state was it in? I graduated from Florida.... That should suffice as an explanation.

As far as number 2 goes, I think they may be referring to public school. At least that's what comes to mind for me. Public school was total shit and I honestly learned more when I was in private school or studying on my own. Because the thing is, public school curriculum isn't intended to make you a brighter, better, inquisitive citizen. Its meant to teach you what to think, not how to think. An interesting video about state schools. Just something to think about

Here's a video about the Allegory if anyone is interested. This is how my philosophy professor introduced us to it.
