Only sometimes, I wake up not knowing where I am. Even outside a couple times. It's always these dresses about everyday. I've got both my ex wives mixed up in there. Here their voices sometimes can even smell their perfume. It's awful and it fucks my next day up.

I didn't at first, couldn't really. Finally did block her and her family. We have mutual friends of course. I took all her pictures off my phone. We don't communicate at all. Unfortunately not even about the kids. She had another man she's now trying to make him their dad.

I regret the end but the divorce wasn't my idea. She was a good friend and a great lover. Mother to my children. I miss her. But that's not the same person anymore and neither an I. But I do regret what her and I turned in to. Really a golden time in my life.

But I don't know how I would of made it. She now playing hoe with a ginah a dudes. So it's embarrassing to watch so I don't. Got a better gig just start focusing on weight loss, the gym. Hey brother, I'm there also. I'm five months in. Therapy helped me a great deal. I want you to know you are not alone. all these men here are going through this. Focus on yourself. Get active it's summer get outdoors go to the lake. Talk to your close friends. Crying is important feel your feelings. Lonely is what you make of it. Don't get stuck there. What really helped was the freaking gym man. I must go to the gym about 4 times a week and lift heavy shit till I can't anymore. I go home I eat …

Shit man divorce is rarely 50/50. Men on average get fuckin robbed. I've been through two divorces and got fucked both times. Got cheated on borj times. Lost two houses two trucks. A considerable amount of money. So much so, I'll have to die rather then retire. I'm on child support until I'm 60.

My son from my first marriage. Gis mother told him all about what I was like. When I was a young man. A hoodlum, a dope dealer, the violence. He modeled himself after that. Even though that's not who I am. Or who I want es him to be. Most of stories she told him she egsagerated. Made em sound good. Dudes in to drugs and fighting chasing women. Absolutely nonsense he's since calmed that shit down but he's still smoking weed and fuckin up at school.

Broken jaw, broke collar bone, dislocated shoulder he about 20 years younger then me so he thought I'd be some punk he could stand on. The reaction from her was she called and screamed at em that I didn't have to do that.. it was her fuckin fault. But there's the thing who really gives a fiddler's fuck?

Kind of stuck in my current situation. Eleven Dollars an hour don't go very far paying child support. I'm not giving up but I'm having trouble making progress.

It was an instant cringe and mad eme not want to speak to her again.

I'm struggling with the concept of love right now. I've tried to talk to women. But that brat shit of theirs, turns me right off. this women had the nerve to tell me. It was just too much effort. I asked her to meet me somewhere. Told me she expects princess treatment. Bitch get off the bullshit.

It's a monumentel task. I'm so far in debt now. Got kids from a previous marriage. Still on child support. It's a mess see her son doesn't know I'm not his dad. I've raised him since he was 18 months old .

It's not a great scene. I tried and never got past the talking stage. None of these women seemes emotionaly available..it was either get ghosted or one sided conversations. With so substance, went on a date once . She was gorgeous but she was also a complete mess.
/r/Divorce_Men05/05/24 07:23 PM
4

Stop looking for someone new. Get well sorbd some time with your feelings. Get outside getting some sun. Start hitting the gym, be around your friends. It's three months for me and she's moving on to some dude. I think about her a little less everyday. you're going to through this. Takes time to heal. But do heal and I am sorry buddy. Been though it three times. It don't get easier you're gonna get better at dealing with it.
/r/Divorce_Men05/05/24 05:27 AM

In the end that's all there is to do. I been trying all kinds of shit. Nothing works, just gonna have to gut it out.
/r/Divorce_Men04/05/24 06:35 PM
6

Get out and get some fresh air . Meet some people don't focus on women too much. Hit the gym it helps . Don't worry about her anymore. She's not the person you loved and you're not the person who loved her. It's gonna hurt for while LET IT. I'm three months out and it still hurts. You're gonna be ok man. Fix yourself best ya can

I've never been alone I e had three long term relationships that went back to back spanning 26 years, Ive never not been with a woman. Each time when they left they didn't just leave I ended up losing my home job and them. Been talking to a therapist ya know. He seems helpful but it's not helping. I'm 43 and worried I won't get another chance at loving someone.
/r/Divorce_Men30/04/24 07:06 AM

I tried, she got distant. Had to see her go on with her life. At lease seem be . Now I just try to ignore her existence. We have kids so I can't

I'll do my best to explain. I met her a month after separation from my wife of 21 years she was 21 and a walking red flag. A hoe to say the least but the sex was good and she built my confidence. We both got heavy in to heroin. Lasted two years, came home from work all her shit was gone. I thought oh man it's gonna hurt it didn't. Met another woman shortly after. I'm still toxic as fuck but I'd done some soul searching. This one was also a red flag walking went too fast moved in house new truck …
/r/Divorce_Men24/04/24 06:19 AM
11

I had to back away from this place. Cause of the shit being said by some really hurt men. I'm hurt myself and I didn't need to be told nothing is my fault. Yes it is and I need to grow.
/r/Divorce_Men24/04/24 06:10 AM
2

If not therapy you gotta figure out why you want that part of your life back. Moving on letting go is key here. I'm finally moving on it's just 90 days for me. But letting it dir seems to be helpful. I don't know what to say. I'm trying to speak to women. But it tastes like dirt. So maybe I'm going to back off that for a bit. Gotta get happy with your life man.
/r/Divorce_Men23/04/24 06:46 AM

My third divorce she ain't getting shit. Except child support get 50/50 with her. Keep fighting it the courts are rigged here

/r/Divorce_Men14/04/24 07:38 PM

/r/Divorce_Men13/04/24 01:16 AM

Sorry man I really am. Best to sign it and try and move forward. This time will suck and hurt like fuck. It starts to get a bit better at the three months mark. Focus on you, hit the gym get off social and get a lawyer. Start looking for a place to live. Pack your stuff and get it out of y'alls house.tall to a therapist
/r/Divorce_Men12/04/24 12:14 AM
1

Look man, maybe it can be a thing but look keep it how you want it. Don't let her get close. If you wanna do that, do. But set boundaries and know your worth.
/r/Divorce_Men09/04/24 06:28 AM
2

It's a very long story. But she got her own reasons, left me. I have no idea if we reconcile. I know we are both not in a position to be with one another. We still love one another and we talk. We have children together. But by the Separation we where not even talking to each other. I take the majority of the blame. She says it was her fault also. But like I say it's a long story.
/r/Divorce_Men09/04/24 06:22 AM
2

No you're right, took her leaving for me to get some help. I am honestly trying to be better for her. Even if that never works out. When you don't heal from one bad relationship you for sure carry that shit forward with you. Got really depressed and self isolated. Stopped doing anything but working. Just wasn't my self.
/r/Divorce_Men09/04/24 05:20 AM
4

Been little over two months. I'm moving forward. Not a matter of want to, matter of. If I can't move forward and let her go. Then I can't let myself be who I'm supposed to be. Like you I'm still interested in this women. But right now, it's not a good thing for either of us. Figure of I want better I need to be better.
/r/Divorce_Men08/04/24 07:46 PM

My thoughts are I don't want to wait too long. Seen dudes get kinda weird around women when they spend too much time alone or without interacting with women. I'm a pretty touch driven kinda cat. So really just intemcy but necessarily sex but I'd that happens great! Really just enjoying the company!
/r/Divorce_Men03/03/24 05:39 AM

I still feel weird, but I'm just going for the casual company thing with women. I'm still trying to fix my dumb self

So after a divorce. It's painful to be left. It takes parts of you. You either never get involved with a woman or you try and keep parts of yourself safe. Don't fall in head first. Cause what if it ends again.

We never stopped, since she was 21 and I was 35. The day we seperated I ended up in her bed. It's dynamite sex, we know each other really well.i mean I know she's talking to other people. I mean am now, casually but all the emotions have gone out of it. I assume it will continue because it's easy and convenient. Like I say it fucks with me a little. there is nothing there. /r/Divorce_Men25/02/24 06:33 PM

Bubba, I'm there myself. It's been a month since she left and she's already seeing someone. Introducing my kids to him and shit. I tried for her and I'm still trying if I'm honest. It's one step at a time. When ya have to eat an elephant best to take one bite at a time. You're going to get through it. It's ok that it hurts, but give yourself some grace.

He says son always calls me son you decided to be her man and at the end of the day those things are things you bought with her in mind. Let her have what she wants. So I don't care what she wants she can have it. I just want my kids and I want her in my life. I made many mistakes many. But I won't see ent her what I promised her.

/r/Divorce_Men17/02/24 02:58 AM
3

Very difficult to see the light at the beginning. The emotional damage is everyday especially when they move on so quickly
/r/Divorce_Men16/02/24 11:23 PM
3

Ignoring it
/r/Divorce_Men15/02/24 12:47 AM
2

Without a doubt
/r/Divorce_Men14/02/24 11:32 PM
1

You know I've tried to explain that before. I know 2 of my 3 didn't last two years after that piece of paper
/r/Divorce_Men14/02/24 11:15 PM
1

/r/Divorce_Men14/02/24 10:35 PM
1

/r/Divorce_Men14/02/24 04:13 AM
1

Idk what I'm supposed to do. I made emt life around her. Stuck in this weird town with theses people immade friends with.
/r/Divorce_Men14/02/24 03:41 AM
3

It's shocking and it makes me think she never did love me.
/r/Divorce_Men14/02/24 02:43 AM
1

Hope it goes better soon for both of us.
/r/Divorce_Men12/02/24 10:43 PM
2

I'm still trying to grieve, my living situation is tentative. I am watching what I eat and was going to therapy and church. Still going to church.
/r/Divorce_Men12/02/24 09:17 PM
3

Sounds like she has some growing up to do.
/r/Divorce_Men12/02/24 07:57 PM
2

/r/Divorce_Men12/02/24 04:15 AM
5

Cheaper to keep her
/r/Divorce_Men11/02/24 06:05 PM
1

Care to elaborate I can certainly tell I feel more vulnerable. What would be a way to not seem pathetic and needy
/r/Divorce_Men11/02/24 05:26 PM
3

Funny how the person who doesn't want children ends up hurt the most with them and the person who doesn't want marriage suffers the most from it
/r/Divorce_Men11/02/24 05:23 PM
2

I'm trying to just let it all happen. Cause I can't fix it it's not up to me. I can only work on me and I'm struggling with that
/r/Divorce_Men11/02/24 06:58 AM
9

I didn't think there was anyone else. I thought it was just as she said. I was having a hard time with my mental health and studying. found out she was indeed talking to someone and is now getting ready to fuck him in March. She was finally honest
/r/Divorce_Men11/02/24 05:28 AM
1

Either way I hope I'm emotionally put back together enough to do what's best. I don't know if things work out that way or not. But I can't keep going on like this.
/r/Divorce_Men11/02/24 03:46 AM
2

Yeah I get that but I'm a fuckin idiot and won't even listen to me. I'm in therapy trying to figure out why I think this way.
/r/Divorce_Men11/02/24 03:30 AM
3

I'm a sucker for this one. She will drag me back. I hate to admit that.
/r/Divorce_Men11/02/24 02:48 AM
4

That's a terrible thing man I hope you both the best.
/r/Divorce_Men10/02/24 05:34 PM
1

I'd say jealous of the love she's showing someone else so quickly. How easily it was for her to turn it all off. Especially after all the things we said and did. Im stuck with a bunch
/r/Divorce_Men10/02/24 05:32 PM
1

Thing is we had a swinger life. She could of slept with anyone, I certainly was, we had so many conversations earlier in our relationship about it. But she wasn't even sleeping with this dude. It was emotional, she was pursuing a relationship. That shit that's the shit I can't forgive. instead of fixing our marriage she's letting ol dude talk her out of it .
/r/Divorce_Men10/02/24 03:11 PM
1

Had to spend 7 days in the house with her and the kids. After she told me she was leaving. It was torture and pretending it was all normal made it worse
/r/Divorce_Men10/02/24 03:00 PM
2

Seems like long term that would hurt more then help.
/r/Divorce_Men10/02/24 02:59 PM
3

That's not a good thing.
/r/Divorce_Men10/02/24 02:58 PM
1

Never again I've had to lose everything 3 times. I can't be out through it again
/r/Divorce_Men10/02/24 02:57 PM
3

Lol causing a bad situation. Ruining the lives of a man and woman and 4 kids to go ride some random dudes dick.
/r/Divorce_Men10/02/24 02:56 PM
1

I was 35 during my first. I thought my life was over. At 37 I met a 22 year old woman I loved fiercly we had a child and she had one already I love and still love. We are separating now. I do think there's hope if you fix what's wrong in your head and if you're trying I think it'll work out for you and me too
/r/Divorce_Men10/02/24 02:54 PM
3

First off congratulations. It's good to read a post. Where the guy is doing great! I want very much in a year to be Happy and on my way.
/r/Divorce_Men10/02/24 02:51 PM
4

I am having trouble with it also. I still have unresolved feelings she's behavior as though she's never been married at least to me
/r/Divorce_Men10/02/24 02:49 PM
1

Im still interested in female company. Just don't know if I'm capable. For sure not right now. Being lonely sounds awful long term.
/r/Divorce_Men10/02/24 02:42 PM
3

Here's the thing she did it with me too. When she left her first hand she came to me. So many red flags, I just ignored.
/r/Divorce_Men10/02/24 10:41 AM
6

Almost the exact same story except I never got the chance to go to counseling. She just said she's done. I'm sorry man but get ready for it to get worse. I hope for the best for us all. Just donbe ready for it to hurt and get pretty bad..
/r/Divorce_Men10/02/24 04:02 AM
1

/r/Divorce_Men09/02/24 11:11 PM

Honestly I watched her do to the man she was married to before me. I'm trying to not speak with her. I have hope we could stay friends when all the hurt wears off
/r/Divorce_Men09/02/24 11:04 PM
1

They always show ya who they really are at the end.
/r/Divorce_Men09/02/24 07:46 PM
2

Yeah I get that
/r/Divorce_Men09/02/24 07:45 PM
3

I did yesterday, while it wasn't physical. The Intent was rhere, she plans for it to be physical.
/r/Divorce_Men09/02/24 07:42 PM
8

Really is a shame. Was told by someone who they are at the end is who they really are
/r/Divorce_Men09/02/24 06:25 PM
3

It's a struggle man, can't deny it. I know I'm lonely and that's not great. On the other hand I had to use bolt cutters to cut my wedding ring off. So what do I know ?
/r/Divorce_Men09/02/24 06:24 PM
6

Ya know I told my first wife that. Best thing you ever did was leave me the fuck alone alone my last 8 years have been a struggle but I got to really experience life.
/r/Divorce_Men09/02/24 05:11 PM

Ridgeback named Eli, good hound.

/r/Divorce_Men09/02/24 02:42 AM

/r/Divorce_Men09/02/24 02:36 AM
3

It was my fault, but she put the nails in the coffin.
/r/Divorce_Men09/02/24 01:48 AM
2

/r/Divorce_Men08/02/24 04:54 PM
2

/r/Divorce_Men08/02/24 03:31 PM
2

I'm probably speaking from past experience and making to broad a statement.i have been the other man. And have had it Happen to me. It will never happen again.
/r/Divorce_Men08/02/24 03:19 PM
2

Women cheat emotionaly before they do physically. If she fucks a guy she's already got her feelings involved. She's made a connection. Hard to change that
/r/Divorce_Men08/02/24 03:13 PM
4

Journaling is saving my life right now. I use my phone so it's like texting her. Seems to trick my stupid brain.
/r/Divorce_Men08/02/24 03:01 PM
3

Yeah buddy they get with someone else. That's a wrap
/r/Divorce_Men08/02/24 03:00 PM
3

/r/Divorce_Men08/02/24 03:31 AM
3

All this I'm just struggling to get over "the one" or who I think is the one
/r/Divorce_Men07/02/24 10:15 PM
1

Man there's a lot of women hater here. I get it for sure but wow.
/r/Divorce_Men07/02/24 08:51 PM
1

Would be a rough situation.
/r/Divorce_Men06/02/24 06:59 PM
2

No and I asked if we could try and she says maybe. Then dismissed it.
/r/Divorce_Men06/02/24 06:45 PM
3

Yep that was my experience. Poor advice the whole time
/r/Divorce_Men05/02/24 10:11 PM
5

Funny how they wanna get involved at the end but never even it could really help
/r/Divorce_Men05/02/24 10:01 PM
3

Look tell this guy, to get resolution. Maybe even talk to someone. Cause it does matter, it will effect things. If ya have real hopes with him. Just make sure ya both understand.
/r/Divorce_Men05/02/24 09:46 PM
3

I'm working on it, therapy, the gym, church. Thank you
/r/Divorce_Men05/02/24 09:44 PM
3

Extremely still heartbroken and all.
/r/Divorce_Men05/02/24 09:41 PM
1

This right here ruined my current marriage by not getting over the last.
/r/Divorce_Men05/02/24 09:38 PM
3

I'm only at two weeks of separation. She wants the divorce and she's filing. Im not done and I still want to try again.
/r/Divorce_Men05/02/24 09:37 PM
3

This I've spent energy trying to convince someone. I can't I'm just gonna focus on me whatever happens next I know what I want
/r/Divorce_Men05/02/24 03:01 PM
6

All my ex wifes kept mine.
/r/Divorce_Men05/02/24 02:57 PM
3

I can agree with this. Best intentions mean nothing
/r/Divorce_Men04/02/24 11:41 PM
3

Well mine liked the story and the path and the fairytale. Not the hard work not the ups and downs. She's 28 and been divorced twice.
/r/Divorce_Men04/02/24 11:40 PM
5

I'm 18,000 bucks on rings. I've never even seen one again after they rip your heart out Mine is sitting in the cup holder of my oickuotehen I biricyshe wasbr wearing hers no more

/r/Divorce_Men04/02/24 06:02 PM

Mine brought her dad's cute little motorcycle club. Bunch of nobody's on leased bikes acting hard. I wasn't even there I went to play golf. It was funny she messaged me to tell me the gang was there.
/r/Divorce_Men03/02/24 08:03 PM
2

Oh I misread, I'm sorry brother. I know how it feels.
/r/Divorce_Men03/02/24 03:04 AM
1

I'm happy she's gonna stay. I was not so lucky. Im trying to get better and back in top. Say the therapy stick with it I'm only 14 days in. Still pretty raw
/r/Divorce_Men03/02/24 02:34 AM
2

No I know that's why they don't want to be around it. It's very uncomfortable to see someone with what everyone thought was a happy marriage.
/r/Divorce_Men02/02/24 11:44 PM
1

Nothing wrong with that I hope not anyway. My ex and I are way too stacked still
/r/Divorce_Men02/02/24 03:00 PM
2

Yeah I feel that .
/r/Divorce_Men01/02/24 11:48 PM
2

I mean that's something ya really take on a case by case situation. Unusually ask em if I can cum in em. Usually turns em on.
/r/Divorce_Men01/02/24 09:03 PM
4

Her presence, her snell. Mostly her love
/r/Divorce_Men01/02/24 02:32 PM
1

I still think about my first wife and the good times when where growing up. But she turned in to such a miserable money grubbing shit head. I can't stand to sit in the sane room with her. Thars been 8 years. Second wife can go piss up a rope. Cheating whore it's been 6 years Third wife, well it's only been two weeks. I like her, think we may stay friendly.
/r/Divorce_Men01/02/24 04:55 AM
2

I'm here because as soon as it was over all our friends bailed on me.was astounding how quickly no would of be answer me. People I've done serious shit for.
/r/Divorce_Men01/02/24 01:15 AM
1

I'm specifically trying to avoid the pathetic thing. We have children and we spoken about remaining friends. We speak and tell each other I love you. But I can for sure tell, there's a coldness there. Time is the only thing thst might resolve it I certainly know nothing I say can change her mind. But for awhile a week or so. I did ask if this was forever? She would only respond with I don't know and she didn't want to give me false hope. I do consider it over she is divorcing me. Maybe it's just…
/r/Divorce_Men31/01/24 10:46 PM
1

I can't even look at women. Too soon for me.
/r/Divorce_Men31/01/24 10:13 PM
1

Just arguing dumb shit
/r/Divorce_Men31/01/24 09:32 PM
3

I'm hurting over it real bad, it's my fault we are seperated. I was mean and said ugly shit. I didn't hit or get violent. I'm trying it's just very earlt. It's brutal cause I fuckin feel like my heads caving in
/r/Divorce_Men31/01/24 09:07 PM
