Question; You don’t think that men want a tiiiiny bit of drama??

Okay so it’s that disingenuous “performative” element that could turn someone off. I understand that, makes sense.

Ooo I like this advice. Thank you! Noted!

Interesting; So being nice isn’t the issue— It’s only a problem if it’s not coming from an authentic place.

Got it. The word boring keeps on coming up so it’s important to not be so uptight. Being nice isn’t the issue.

Ahh okay I see.

Thank you for such a thorough explanation. I do believe that it is a blessing in disguise when someone “self select’s out” because it makes room for a more suitable person to come into your life.

I agree. My personality is naturally bubbly but I’ve heard that women who are to nice can be off putting, on more than one occasion… It’s good to hear that you’ve found someone that appreciates your niceness!

Ahh I see. No I haven’t been told this but I do stalk a few male dominated threads that I probably shouldn’t and see them talk about how sometimes girls who “are to perfect” or “nice” are a turn off.

Why are all the comments that don’t support the opinions of the moderators removed lol Just because women have a differing opinion does not mean that it doesn’t qualify as a “red-pill opinion”. Things are getting weird over here… a lot of dictator energy lol

Aw man, I am so so sorry this has happened to you… Please understand that you did nothing wrong in this situation, it was HIS responsibility to not pursue a relationship with you if he knew his religion/culture would not support that. To me, this was very selfish and careless of him… Especially because as young women, we do not have this unlimited amount of time to waste on frivolous flings or relationships. I know your heart is broken but please know that this will pass and will soon be a dista…

Ignore them. The fact that these “men” are in this forum (out of all forums) arguing with us about this nonsense tells you everything you need to know. Smh

I’m not worried at all lol I’ve creeped on those passport bro forums before and those guys are total creeps. Traditional masculinity is no where to be seen, just whining about not being able to impress women with $5 cheeseburger dinners in America lol Also as a religious woman, these men are NOT Godly. I actually feel bad for the women in these poverty stricken countries who have to participate in passport bro s*x tourism in order to put food on the table.

Are the pastors in Muslim churches telling ladies this crap is okay?? Your concern shouldn’t be submission right now, it should be protecting any children you may have! This is astonishing!

Whether or not this is a red flag depends on the reasons why they fell out. What kind of “health reasons” was he referring to? Did he give you specifics??

Where do you live? Lol I’m in California and most young adult church goers are attractive (thank God).

Honey I think you should look into finding a therapist. And I promise I’m saying this from a place of non judgment. Of course your sexual needs are important, but if it gets to the point where you are nagging and abusing (yes what you described is emotional abuse) your partner for sex, some changes need to be made. The fact that you are aware enough to type out your faults let’s me know that you have the awareness to change and become an AMAZING partner once you get the emotional help you need. …

A born again Christian begging for sex outside of marriage?? Yeah… sounds like someone hasn’t been honest. I you’re more serious than he is about your faith this will cause more issues down the line. The fact that he’s also pushing boundaries that you’ve clearly drawn lines about is worrisome too… with the risk of sounding dramatic this is actually really disrespectful and something I would consider a red flag.

I can relate to not being attracted to a guy initially and then seeing how kind and gentlemanly he is and then growing to like him. I don’t really know what happens, but all of a sudden it’s like his looks change or something and soon I’m daydreaming about how hot he is just because of his actions towards me. If this isn’t happening for you then you might need to break it off though. It’s not fair to you or him. You deserve to feel that attraction towards someone and if you want something long t…

I love this response. Although she shouldn’t try to “solve his problems”, he definitely has concern about “fun” in his life or else he wouldn’t expressed that he “doesn’t know how to have fun anymore” out loud. I think her best bet is to be a sounding board for him. Whenever you 2 are having alone time, let him vent, be supportive, and soon he may even come to a healthy conclusion himself without you having to solve anything for him.

I’ve taken your advice! When I read your comment I was a bit nervous because I’m not usually confrontational unless it’s with family (because I’m comfortable with them). But I actually stood up to someone (in a calm manner, which I am very proud about) and I definitely noticed a shift in the energy from the ppl in the area. I don’t think it was expected, but it felt good for me to do. It wasn’t anything big, it was just a passive aggressive comment that I called out but I definitely noticed a di…

Wow…. I’m gonna let the OG RPW handle this one because honey…. You should never get to a point where you are so desperate for a man that you would allow adulterous behavior within your marriage. Quiet as it’s kept, there are still masculine, loving and healthy men that would never put their wives through such nonsense. If your husband wants this, he is NOT a healthy man.

It’s kind of like when you are aware of an answer, but it’s so incredulously terrible that you can’t believe it’s “the answer”.

@Tasha31 is correct! I forgot to put the slash mark and add the word “physically”.
