She has medical help, eats fairly healthy, and exercises and she still gains weight. It's a tricky thing to deal with. And yes today they can be a royal pain. But the concepts the same: basic maintenance. And that can be applied to a lot of life skills. Finance, resume writing, cooking, how to use friggin tools. The high school here barely has anything like that that's not an elective. And those courses, you get an "A" just for showing up.
