Obviously the low effort approach is appealing but the reality is you waste way more time trying to figure someone out over text. Plus no way is a confident guy going to invest this much time on idle chit chat.

What are you going to learn about someone between the 5th text and the 500th that would make you any more certain that the person is safe? It's way easier to lie over text.
/r/seduction12/03/20 01:48 AM

No, that is false. You cannot get to know someone better via text than in person, no matter what a girl thinks. You do not need more than 5-6 texts back and forth to build adequate comfort for one in person date, ever, in any culture. If it goes on significantly longer, the chances of sex diminish.

Talk to him about it before you make any move, explain what you like about her. Even if he is resistant at first, he might warm up to it, perhaps even help you with finding a good approach to overcome those obstacles you mentioned. But he will respect you for checking in with him first. The key is, if he doesn't support the idea, you should back off unless you are willing to jeopardize his friendship.

The advice to ask/talk about her is generally correct, but I would add that your guide for those questions and prompts should be your own interests, values, and goals. For example, you can ask anyone what kind of music they are into, but if you don't have much particular interest in music yourself, why spend time on it? You should rely not on generic topics to keep the conversation up, but rather on your own set of interests and questions about life. This approach has two benefits: (1) it makes …

I would advise not hanging out with her 1:1 at all. She made it clear that she doesn't reciprocate your attraction. Only see her if she is bringing friends or if you are with your friends. That way at least there is some chance one of you can meet someone else. She might even be cool enough to wing for you.

Furniture suggestion: one of the better natural players I've known always has two love seats in his living room setup. No couch, no armchair, no other single chairs, just loveseats. That way no matter where she wants to sit, you will be able to sit right next to her.

It sounds like you are back in the same pattern: you are having a oneitis relapse. It's okay, don't be too hard on yourself about it. The best approach is to pursue those other options if you have them.

The irony is that by focusing on yourself and the activities you enjoy, you will both (1) continue to meet others with similar interests and (2) gain the confidence that helps others take an interest in spending more time with you. You are already taking the right steps. One further thing you can do is be open with the attached folks you are meeting about the desire to meet more single people. If they can, they will probably help. One concrete thing you can try is to host small parties (dinners,…

Some context would make the advice more useful. The advice is different for an Instagram or YouTube "star" with a few ten thousand followers than it is for a B list actress or model, and different again for A list. They are not in the same league and the basic strategy might need to be deployed differently. It's going to be more difficult to follow the straight advice above if she literally has a driver picking you up, etc.

What you are saying is important, however I would make two comments. One, hook-ups don't generally happen without building emotional comfort either, though it is perhaps true this is not always needed. Second, there is a major risk in spending significant time building that emotional connection without also escalating physically, namely getting stuck in the friend zone. You explicitly assume that she already desires the man, but most of the men here are just trying to get to that starting point.…

My point is quite a general one about your prose style – it's indulgent and gives too much irrelevant information. Virtually every paragraph is an example of this, if you want to be specific; hence I found it simpler to just single out the ones that are less guilty of this. I think you actually can just state the core point, and it won't be meaningless as long as it is backed up with evidence and reasoning. I realize it is the PUA guru style to go heavy on rhetorical blather, but if you learn to…

Basically everything other than paragraphs 4, 8, 19, and the bullet points toward the end. You are using a lot of unnecessary prose to try and set a mood or create the impression that you have an insight to share, instead of simply letting the core ideas make the point.

If your town is large enough to have a Walmart, this is not a rational statement. I guarantee that if you reveal the name of the town, people will come up with at least 15 solid ideas. You either need to figure out what her interests are and work from there, or make something fun happen yourself. I mean really, if you can't find a way to have fun with her then how do you expect to get anywhere?

In the first one, you weren't specific enough, or you didn't follow it up. In the second one it didn't sound like she had much interest but I wouldn't write it off entirely. Try to identify something fun happening within the next 2-3 days of whenever you contact her next, then ask what she has going on at that time and if she says nothing or something lame, tell her about the cool activity. The key is to make it seem fun and exciting. In fact don't even ask her, just tell her she is coming, e.g.…

If you were worried about having failed to follow through on a promise, it might have helped to be more specific in your explanation to her. Either don't address it at all, or be honest and forthcoming with her. But I think the more general issue here is this focus on online interaction. Who cares if you didn't send some message that was promised? That isn't like flaking on IRL plans.

But are you claiming that doing any of this will make some women interested who would not otherwise have been attracted to you in the first place?
/r/seduction09/11/19 02:43 PM
21

I have actually been doing this for more than a year now. Obviously you feel better in general when you focus diligently on yourself, but women don't magically start cold approaching you. And while I will concede it helps with confidence for initial interactions, that isn't enough since you still need to escalate.
/r/seduction09/11/19 02:27 PM

Alternative take: Tinder girl didn't think about you at all over the weekend. You came across weird by offering an unsolicited, non-specific account of your weekend activities ("...some stuff came up"). Don't acknowledge it and don't apologize, just wait until you have a fun activity to invite her to and then do it. Maybe invite a few girls in case she flakes.

/r/seduction26/10/19 02:45 PM
1

What's the goal here? She said she's not interested, so if you want to seduce her then at minimum you need to cool it with her on all fronts for an extended period. Possibly at a future time after you have laid the proper groundwork, you can try again, but it isn't likely to happen. If you want to remain strictly friends, then simply ignore or downplay what happened and continue on as usual.
/r/seduction26/10/19 02:24 PM

I tend to agree with the other suggestions that it is most likely a technical thing and not related to anything either of you are doing. The only way to rule that out would be to ask her directly if she is, in fact, doing it on purpose.

Just be direct. Give him a clear signal. Virtually everything you have described here suggests you either aren't clear with yourself about what you want, or you aren't communicating it. So be warned, he still might not take the lead because of uncertainty compounded over many months. He sounds rather inexperienced. It's all about results. Unless you can explain in a practical fashion how to gain that internal alpha mindset, the newb tricks are frankly the better option. You can talk about it all day but if you can't find a way to teach it to others, it has no significance to anyone but you.

You aren't building enough attraction, you're coasting on superficial qualities that only serve to generate initial interest. Kino helps escalate but it's no substitute for the push-pull of attraction. If you can't develop this skill then you need to "fake it till you make it" (i.e. learn some canned responses and increase your approach volume).

/r/seduction01/10/19 03:32 AM

Practice taking that same lack of intent into an interaction with a girl who is attractive. The only difference between the two situations is as you say, the perspective you yourself bring in. If you can learn to shift that internally so that you approach an attractive woman the same way you approach an average one, you will notice two things: you don't get anxious and she responds more favourably.

If you are advocating more casual texting then I would suggest trying it with the most recent of the three 10s just to test your theory. When you said they ghosted you, do you mean they flaked on the date and then subsequently became completely unresponsive? Or did they just flake on that one date? If it was just a flake, try texting her about something random and just see if you get any response at all. Then if you do, put this other approach to work and see if it turns out differently. Living life and gaining experience is good advice. However to suggest that attraction is either there or not there, rather than a skill which can be learned, comes across as rather demoralizing (to people of all genders). It follows from this view of attraction as somehow innate that those who simply don't have it never will be attractive, and it doesn't matter how many people they meet. What reason is there to accept this view?
/r/seduction11/09/19 07:01 PM

Try to remember that online interaction isn't really conversive, because it lacks body language. If you live in the same city, invite her out to something fun, so you can interact in real life. If you don't live in the same city, then obviously this isn't going anywhere. It's just keeping in touch with an old acquaintance, not dating.

Log off Reddit, walk outside, go somewhere where women are, and start talking to the one you find most attractive. It doesn't matter what you say. There's no point asking her out before building attraction, which has not happened here. You don't have a strong enough mindframe with her to build it in a week, either, from so deep in the friend zone. But nor do you need to cut ties entirely. Just find some ways to distract yourself from her for a few months while you focus on meeting other women, activities, etc. Don't be available for a while. You make peace by focusing elsewhere so one girl isn't front of mind.
/r/seduction18/08/19 05:25 AM

You need to accept that you will never be involved with her romantically. You know this to be true. You may not realize it but you are not actually in love with her, you are in love with a fantasy in your own head. And you need to escape it and come back to reality. Tell the therapist you have an unhealthy obsession with a friend and need practical tips to overcome it.
/r/seduction16/08/19 01:26 AM

Yes: do it immediately. If someone catches your eye, do not hesitate even for an instant. It doesn't matter if you fuck it up, at least you went for it. The longer you wait, the more time you give to convince or scare yourself out of approaching. Then the approach never happens or the window closes. So go for it right away, without giving yourself time to back out.

Have you tried any of the things you have read about here? If you don't know why things work for them and not for you then you really ought to consider a different approach, if only to change things up.

Yes it takes some skill to capitalize on existing attraction and not mess up a good thing. But it is an entirely different skill to start from no existing attraction on her part and build it entirely on your own. For most of the guys on forums like this, the attraction isn't there to begin with.

Unless you have already slept with her, it's either an attraction or a resistance/comfort issue. Have you successfully slept with her yet? Calling her your girlfriend suggests so, but that makes your question confusing. If you have slept with her, how did you get around this on that occasion? If you haven't, what do you gain by putting this level of consideration into the matter? You are losing time you could spend with another woman who does not have these hang-ups.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
