could we have like a weekly Q&A like threads other subreddits have where you can ask one question but don't want to waste a thread on it?

It doesn't stop those random posts in other subs, I don't see why it would here unless the mods actively eliminate them. Anything is worth trying once, though.

I remove posts every few hours and that doesn't seem like enough sometimes. People don't read the rules already, a thread won't stop people who don't read the rules. /r/askSeddit is already where people are supposed to ask their questions but don't
