Not really what I said but ok. In my view, blue pill is not incorrect, just omits certain things in order to appear more virtuous.

How does that work if different Red Pill dudes believe different things? Mate I feel like you are being a bit obtuse. It works the same way as any "movement" that becomes too big. For example, there are feminists who believe in casual sex and there are feminists who do not believe in it. You can see things "correctly" and not identify as red pill because you do not like other things associated with the red pill or specifically red pillers. Same way there are people who believe in equality betwee…

The problem with "redpill" is that everyone has their own definition of what red pill is and unless someone actually defines what they consider to be red pill the discussions become meaningless. There are people who think conservatives = red pill, or tradcons = red pill, or mens rights activists = red pill. My definition of red pill is based on the movie the matrix, where blue pill is the place of blissful ignorance and red pill is the truth, IN RELATION TO ATTRACTION. i.e. this is what women ar…

u/Juventus_x what red pill claim are you questioning or arguing against? Path A - Seems very red pill, if you believe that red pill says men should spin plates. Path B - Seems red pill also, if you believe red pill says men should cheat as long as they have the option to. Path C - Seems red pill. Since these guys are attractive, they get to chose whom they want to be with and they clearly chose that person. You might find that person "average", but clearly that man sees her more than just averag…

When it comes to maturity, I think you touched on it, "Responsibility" defines maturity, that and agreeableness I believe. Reason I say responsibility defines maturity is because, if you take 2 men, one is married and has 3 kids while the other is single; and they both work the same job and earn the same amount of money. The one that is single will be seen as immature compared to the family man, especially if the single one is happy and living a good life according to himself, while the one supp…

Stop lying OP. The post you are referring to was not about women accepting rejection and men being upset about it. Link to post https://np.reddit.com/r/PurplePillDebate/comments/1kh2t4y/men_need_to_be_aware_that_they_are_easily/ The post you are talking about was saying something like "hey men, if you are going to insist on going 50/50 on dates and not paying for the first date, you will easily be replaced by a man who will". The post was about shaming men and telling them they are easily replac…

And how are women encouraged to be asexual? Last time I checked, slut-shaming of women is about women being sluts, not women having sex within a relationship. Just because someone is not a slut does not mean they are asexual.

I am confused by this post. Are you saying that men (the ones struggling) are not having sex because women are not encouraged to be whores?

Got some time to kill, so I will engage. Generally, the phrase "men do not care about education/career" does not mean men want dumb or broke women. It simply means an unattractive woman does not become attractive based on her education. Maybe other men do want broke women, but most I believe just mean that a good woman is a good woman regardless of her educational or career background. Thus "men do not care about education or career" phrase.

Alternative title. Marriage is bad for men because their income decreases by 20% while it increases for women. It seems the article talks about available income not a salary increase. Basically, men spend more in the marriage while women gain financially from being married.

Let me try this, hope you do not relate to this example. Let say your parent dies. They die either through a disease, or someone murders them. In each scenario, death is the reality. However, what brought about the death will invoke different feelings in yourself and you will deal with either scenario differently from the other. Yes there will be shared feelings in both scenarios, but there will be feelings unique to death via disease and unique feelings relating to someone murdering them. Simil…

they don't want you. Why is this so difficult to understand? An unavailable person did not say they do not want you. They are unavailable because they are already in a relationship.

One is simple unavailability, the other is rejection. Rejection is personal, unavailability is not. If you do not understand the difference there's nothing I can say further.

Just because it won't escalate to something romantic doesn't mean I don't still enjoy those qualities I liked about them in friendship. But that's the thing, the people who do end the friendship recognise that they will continue to enjoy the qualities they like about this person even more, and it will hurt that they can only enjoy them on the friendship level while they want more. I'll make a silly example, let's compare love for someone to hunger for specific food. It is easier to deal with hun…

There's a difference between someone being in a relationship already and someone not wanting to be with YOU specifically. One is simply unavailability of said person, the other is a clear rejection of your romantic interest. Also, there's people who are able to remain friends with their ex's, some people prefer not to engage with their ex's at all, neither are right or wrong, same thing with this friend rejection thing.

Well, like you said, you named a few things, so did I. Those things do happen, and again from experience, they happen with the intention to get the person in a state where they want to talk, not simply clearing the mind. But you did mention that you do not like to talk a lot, so that aligns with you. Being there for someone does not always mean to be physically present. Most men want to be alone when going through hardships. That might be a bad thing, but that is what they want. So, like I said,…

I'm not sure I fully agree with the "mutually considerate" part. I can be considerate of someone going through a tough time, but recognise that no matter what I say will not alleviate the issue, so decide to spend less time on that problem and leave it to that individual to sort it out, because that is something I would want in that situation where someone's words will not solve the issue, but give them the assurance that when they want to talk or want to do something, I would be available. In m…

Men have their moms call to check in on them too. Sure, but you cannot expect a man to just unlearn what he grew up getting accustomed to. Meaning, if you raise a boy to always solve his own problems and to "man up", once they reach adulthood, you can't just say "alright you can stop that now and start talking about your problems more often". People are creatures of habit, sure habits can be broken, but that requires a need in the individual to change those habits. How do you tell someone who ha…

I used to be neutral to therapy but have come to hate it based on how people talk about it, acting as if anyone and everyone should go to one. What you are saying basically is; CBT therapy says, we are here and trying to get here, this is how we go there. We fix this, change that, discard this and so on. While talk therapy is, we are here, how did we get here, why are we still here, and this is where we should be. A lot of men (and we're not a monolith either) don't want to hear there's a proble…

You say you are a therapist, quick question. What kind of issues need a therapist? Is it issues that start with "how" or issues that start with "why"? My personal opinion, issues that start with "how" rarely need a therapist. However, the ones that start with "why" do need a therapist even though that will lead to the how part as well. Example, a guy gets road rage, he acts out on his road rage negatively. A guy is made to be angry by someone, he acts out negatively to that. This person knows ex…

"dehumanization", "objectification"(I know you didn't say objectification) these are just some feminist favourite buzzwords. Let me ask you this direct question which requires a simple yes or no. If I see a beautiful woman standing wearing high hills while I am sitting down, and I decide to offer up my sit so she can rest and not have to stand for too long. Benevolent sexism is benevolent sexism, not misogyny. If I am sitting in a que somewhere with limited sits and a woman comes ques behind me but has no chair and I stand up and let her sit because she is a woman, that is benevolent sexism. Does that mean I hate women? i.e. does that mean I am a misogynist?

Both are misogynistic. Wow, so misogyny has evolved so much that if men think women are wonderful it means they are misogynistic? Can't make this shit up.

Questions, how do you differentiate between a feminist and a trad woman? Do you believe that women who prefer to stay at home are not feminists? Do you think a woman simply working and having career goals automatically makes her a feminist? feminist women is they care less about masculine gender norms. Men always bad, have you not been paying attention? This is like some women saying they will not have sex in protest of the Trump win because they do not want to have sex with men who want to take away their rights. Firstly, most men are not trying to take away anyone's rights. Secondly, people were already selecting romantic and sexual partners based on political beliefs. This means that the people who will be affected by the "sex strike" if it is real, will be liberal men since even before the…

The point I was trying to make is less about the hours and more about the other parties involved in your relationship. Do you take into account what the kids want when you define have it all? Because you might be able to be happy or convince yourself that you are happy with the family arrangement you have, but are the kids happy? is the husband happy? Going back to men, a lot of kids wished they could have spent more time with their dads growing up, but said dads were consumed by work and can on…

Your commitments to being a wife to your husband, based on your agreed upon vows and relationship goals. So if your career requires you to be at work 12 hours and at home awake for 4 hours that qualifies as having it all if you are happy with that arrangement? Nevermind that the kids might be hoping that they can spend more time with said parent?
/r/PurplePillDebate04/11/24 02:53 PM
9

What does that mean to "have it all"? I do not think men ever had it all. Men spent too much time at work and little time at home. Does that mean the man has it all if his time is being consumed by work and less time spent with family? These men also probably missed most of their kids "first" because of work commitments. Does that mean you have it all when you miss some or most of your child's development and important days, like school plays, sports and other things? If you are not there to be …

The concern is about the man raising his child, getting certainty. If the concern is infidelity, doing the paternity test only is stupid.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/09/24 09:47 PM
1

The paternity test is for certainty about the child. If the concern is about cheating, stopping at the paternity test is meaningless, there are a lot of childless cheaters. Hence the topic, paternity tests are weak infidelity checks. Do you agree or disagree with the statement in the title?
/r/PurplePillDebate27/09/24 09:39 PM
2

It’s still an accusation of infidelity, but also deception, malice, exploitation and immorality It can prove infidelity, but to find out if that was the concern of the man it would depend on whether the man does other things to find out if infidelity occurred. If he only stops at the test, then infidelity was not his major concern.

If you compare men today to men in the past, say 50 or more years ago, I'd say men today are less likely to want kids than those men. When comparing men today to women today, I'd say more women are more vocal about not wanting kids than men are, so it gives the perception that men are more inclined to want kids. Men know they would like kids one day, thus do not rule out the option. Women seem adamant about whatever choices they feel at whatever stage they are in. i.e. when a young woman says sh…

Do you agree or disagree that both RP and BP essentially believe that dating for men will be better as they get older?
/r/PurplePillDebate12/09/24 11:52 PM
3

Seems like the wording of the post is getting to a lot of people. I was not trying to say just wait and do nothing, but essentially to say that dating will be better for men as they get older. This seems to be what both RP and BP believe in, but for different reasons.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/09/24 11:50 PM
5

Yeah I understand that statement about "there is someone for everyone". But remember, BP is suppose to be those that disagree with the RP according to latest definitions.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/09/24 11:46 PM
11

Never said they don't. Advice is normally given to those that are struggling.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/09/24 11:41 PM
-1

So your issue with the post is the wording?
/r/PurplePillDebate12/09/24 11:37 PM
1

The point of the post is saying that women like mature guys, hence why I said both RP and BP advice the guy that dating will be better once he matures. The stable guy is seen as mature, while the unstable guy is seen as immature.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/09/24 11:34 PM
3

So your issue with the post is the wording not the content? Also, why assume that the problem was the guy? Its been said multiple times that young women like exciting guys and as they grow their priorities change to the more "stable" guys. So if the guy was the stable guy from the beginning (husband material) then he would have less luck compared to the exciting, live for the day type of guys.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/09/24 11:29 PM
3

Ok, but what if the like minded women are the mature women that blue pillers normally talk about? Meaning, if say in high school and college, the women in your age range are majority all about the party life while the guy is not, but after 5 years post college, those women are now no longer party girls and basically like minded to the guy. The guy in this scenario had to wait until the women grew out of the party phase. "Guys your age are immature, focus on other things and wait until you're a…
/r/PurplePillDebate12/09/24 10:51 PM

If you read the post, the details name other things like working out and making money, which require time, thus essentially waiting. Same with maturity, for women to mature time is required. The post does not say just sit and do nothing.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/09/24 10:43 PM
2

So women like older men? which means men need to wait till older to find success in dating? I do not think one can just change a baby face to look more mature, unless I am missing something
/r/PurplePillDebate12/09/24 10:41 PM
-3

You disagree that bluepillers say men should date mature women?
/r/PurplePillDebate12/09/24 10:38 PM

Like I said in another comment, hating people similar to yourself does not count as "self" hatred when that person believes themselves to be different from those people. i.e. if a woman says "women suck because they do not like sports" and the woman saying that likes sports, than she does not hate herself because she does like sports. This is like saying people who drive cars have self-hatred when they complain and hate on other drivers whom they deem are unable to drive on the road. If a gay pe…
/r/PurplePillDebate05/09/24 08:35 PM

I have not changed my mind on anything, and that is not the real question here. The question is, why a man "is", while a woman "has" Why is there different wording? Do you know or not?
/r/PurplePillDebate04/09/24 11:02 PM
2

Of course the man can change,
/r/PurplePillDebate04/09/24 10:09 PM
5

Because of the wording. He "IS" a misogynist. For women, she "HAS" misogyny or internalised misogyny. Of course the man can change, but the wording is different when describing men and women.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/09/24 09:57 PM
-1

What work? If we use the pick me example, they are known to differentiate themselves from other girls. So, if they hate other girls then they do not hate themselves because they see themselves as different to the other girls.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/09/24 09:54 PM
3

So basically they want to single out other women instead of bunching them up with male misogynists? Kind of like a reverse pick me, "She is not like the rest of us girls" type of situation? i.e. when they complain about misogynists they are exclusively complaining about male misogynists. When they want to complain about female misogynists they used the other terms?
/r/PurplePillDebate04/09/24 09:44 PM
2

Like I said, you can, but people do not. Why?
/r/PurplePillDebate04/09/24 09:37 PM
1

It's possible for a woman to hate other women while not hating herself. So I do not buy the self-hatred argument. Even if she is a pick-me, why is her hating on other women seen as an illness and not something that she is? Or better yet, why call her a new name 'pick-me' and not straight up misogynist?
/r/PurplePillDebate04/09/24 09:35 PM
4

Nouns like "internalized misogyny" are things you have. I know, that's the point of the debate. Why does a woman have internalised misogyny while people do not say that the man has misogyny or he has externalised misogyny? Why not just say the woman is a misogynists?
/r/PurplePillDebate04/09/24 09:25 PM
2

Sure, we all need coping mechanisms. We all also face pressures in the world. Some seem too big even for coping mechanisms.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/09/24 01:05 AM
1

Coping mechanisms do not take away the expectation to have. They help you deal with the discomfort you have, or make you accept the discomforts you have. I had a friend in college who committed suicide. The reasons I do not know. What I do know is he had a good amount of friends and had a present family. The friend group had a healthy amount of both men and women. I do not know what pressures he had or he put on himself that made him do what he did, but he did it either way. Therapy, friends, fa…
/r/PurplePillDebate01/09/24 12:46 AM
1

But the things you mentioned do not need therapy, they just need you to have any person who cares about you talk to you about them. Even then, the solution is to go out there and get. The expectation is still there to "HAVE". If you do not have you have failed. Said failure can cause the man to just end it.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/09/24 12:25 AM
1

Yeah probably
/r/PurplePillDebate01/09/24 12:19 AM
2

To sum up expectations, I'd say Women are expected to "BE" a certain way Men are expected to "HAVE" certain things You can work on "being" a certain way or to accept yourself the way you are without changing through therapy. You cannot therapy your way to "have" certain things. You cannot therapy your way to a high paying job if you do not have such skills.

I did not say it affects men more. Stats tell us women attempt suicide more but men are more successful at actually completing the act. So by attempted suicide stats, one may conclude that women are affected by expectations more than men. For men though, the expectations are different to women. Men are still expected to provide and protect. Even if women claim they do not want a provider, a man's income still matters. Women complain about the lack of good men on their level, i.e. lack of good me…

If these women are not talking to these men already it's because they view them as below her, not on her level, i.e. he is unattractive to her. So nothing changes as I said.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/08/24 11:12 PM
1

Okay, how would it change? You have not said the how part, you keep saying it will.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/08/24 11:07 PM
6

Question, what should men protest against? Do you want to know what are some of the reasons men commit suicide, EXPECTATION. This is my own thought as people who commit suicide probably do not always state why they did it. What expectation? Societal and family expectations. People who often commit suicide probably feel the pressure that they are not meeting or will not meet the expectations placed upon them. They feel like failures, thus the only solution is to end it all.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/08/24 11:05 PM

Or maybe they do it because they like having sex with different women. Either way, how would this change how women approach relationships? It won't make them like men they find unattractive
/r/PurplePillDebate31/08/24 10:55 PM
5

What are you talking about? Even if men did that, women would still approach men they find attractive, which is what they already do. So nothing changes. Last time I checked, men who sleep around are called dogs by women and they do not care abo…

I wish more people, especially in debate subs, could actually think like this. Sometimes you need to discuss what is and isn't, without trying to put a moral judgement on it.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/08/24 08:53 PM

This is not about rich guys, I am saying that women want men who make as much or more as them. They do not seek men who make less then them. Men do not seek women more beautiful than them. just because women love rich guys doesn't mean they compare their incomes to theirs. Women literally say they want men who make as much or more than them. So yes they do compare the guys income to their own. Men do not compare their looks to that of a woman's. How does one go about doing this?
/r/PurplePillDebate15/08/24 09:20 AM

Here's my point, when women date up, they look at their financial situation and look for men who are in the same or higher financial situation. i.e. (They compare themselves to the potential man. I make 50k a year, I want someone making 50k or more a year) Men do not look at their attractiveness level and compare that to a woman's. For a man, a woman is either attractive or not, there is no need to compare her looks to his looks. Also, how does one go about comparing a man's looks to that of a w…

It's quite simple, 1) everyone wants a good looking partner, so there's not much to debate here. 2) The red pill, whether good or bad, focuses on discussing things that women are attracted to and what men need to do to be attractive. So it makes no sense for them to discuss 'men dating up'. Even then though, redpill also discusses the looks of women, have you not heard them label women whales and such? 3) and this is the most important one, Hypergamy is defined as the action of marring or formin…

my point is: everyone dates up, but for a reason (we all know of ), women are the only ones painted as the evil gold diggers. Well, it is kind of difficult to label men "evil gold diggers" when they are not with women for their money.

LOL dude, the problem with these age gap discussions is that there are people who, for some reason, do not consider it an age gap once all parties involved are over 30. Basically, some people will not consider it an age gap if a 60 year old is with a 32 year old.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/08/24 10:16 PM

To your last paragraph, how much of a woman being overprotective while a man might be more easy going do you think contributes to the idea that women do more emotional labor? Example, men have a reputation of not going to hospitals when they are sick while women seem to always want to seek professional help when they see an issue. If the person who is sick is a child and the father does not see the need for the doctor but when the mother gets back from work and sees the child she decides they sh…

Final question from my side, Do you agree that when people talk about emotional labor they really mean domestic work, even though they act like these are two separate things?
/r/PurplePillDebate31/05/24 08:11 PM
-1

I gave that example to demonstrate that more tasks does not mean more stress, but type of task dictates the amount of stress. My main question is, how do you measure that 1 person has more mental load than the other? It's ok if you think the wife is the manager in the scenario, I still want to know how you would measure mental load?
/r/PurplePillDebate31/05/24 08:03 PM

But you are still describing more "domestic work" not really more "emotional work". From what I can tell from reading online and from the responses here is that emotional labor = domestic work, but people talk as if these are two separate issues. I am not denying that doing more tasks can add stress, I am asking how would you measure that one person has more stress or mental load than the other? Example, between a manager who has to make sure that the employees have work to do and goes and gets …

If emotional labor is mental load, then how do we measure if women do more than men? Physical tasks do not have a direct correlation with emotional load. Someone can do a lot of physical tasks which have less emotional load, while the other can do few but very emotionally taxing tasks. So how do we measure if one is doing more than the other?

Women generally feel pressured by society to be "nice", keep the peace, manage intrapersonal relationships, and not express their own emotions or needs if it will have a negative impact on others. Men generally feel pressured by society to be stoic and not show their emotions. They have to keep the peace because if they do not things can get physical real quick. Men also have to manage intrapersonal relationships and not express their own emotions or needs if it will have a negative impact on ot…

planning doctors appointments, managing the kid’s schedule, keeping the house clean and tidy, keeping tabs of everyone’s emotional states/offering advice or guidance, etc. This is just domestic duties, why does it need an additional name of "emotional labor" as if this is a different task? Do men not offer advice and guidance in relationships? Married men live longer than single men, on average. I’m guessing this is likely the reason. Your average bachelor pad isn’t exactly clean and tidy, fresh…

Caring about and taking care of other people Does this mean men do not care about other people? And who are these other people? especially with regard to socializing We already know that men and women socialize differently, i.e. men and women care about different things with regards to friendships. Women seem to want to do a lot of get togethers while men can go long without talking to a friend and when they do meet the friendship continues as normal. /r/PurplePillDebate24/05/24 03:57 PM

A lot of comments but few or no answers at all. OP, the reason female body hair is political is because there are a loud minority of feminists who use their body hair as a political statement. Kind of like how if you see a blue haired woman you might automatically think she is a feminist.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/05/24 09:47 AM

I get what you mean by style of communication, but I have seen people question a post that appears to be reasonable but simply goes against what most women would agree on.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/05/24 05:54 PM

I also have seen posters assume that people who were talking online were women simply for speaking about feminist issues, Did said people mention they are men or had a flair that said they are men? Because I can see why someone might assume that if the person has not mentioned if they are man or woman. My real question though is when it is clear that the person is a woman or man, either through a flair or they mentioned it, why is it that women still question the gender of that person while men …
/r/PurplePillDebate21/05/24 04:59 PM

Before we had to identify our gender in our tag Well yeah that might explain why they thought so. I am not questioning whether people like having their ideas and opinions validated by the group they align with, I am simply asking why do women resort to questioning the gender while men resort to insults. Hence I asked if you think they assumed you were an actual woman or rather meant it as an insult.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/05/24 04:54 PM

I don’t think this is a gendered thing. I get accused of being a woman when I argue with manosphere dudes. Interesting. Are you sure they assume you actually are a woman or if they are just insulting you by calling you a woman?
/r/PurplePillDebate21/05/24 04:41 PM

Alright, by why is the assumption that the person who posted might not be a woman when they say something that goes against women? Is it because women are suppose to agree with each other?
/r/PurplePillDebate21/05/24 04:38 PM

Man I can't take you seriously if you argue like this. Define "most" and define "many" I define "most" as more than 50% (depending on the context), and I can guarantee that most men also have not molested anyone at all. "Many" can mean anything that represents a large number, but not necessarily most or majority. If 15 people die in an aeroplane crash that had 100 passengers, you can say many people died but you cannot say most people died. So by this definition, many women have molested someone…
/r/PurplePillDebate20/05/24 05:38 PM

Not sure if you are using the term "fragile masculinity" correctly. When I have heard the term, while I don't really like it, it is often used in a situation where the person using it is trying to make the man (basically manipulate him) do something that he is uncomfortable doing. i.e. if a man refuses to wear a pink t-shirt, fragile masculinity. If a man refuses to be all touchy touchy with another man, fragile masculinity.

De-normalizing something is not about being shocked by yourself in your head for a few seconds and then continuing on about your day. People need to call it out and keep talking about it and actively shame others for it. And what I am saying is that it does not matter how many times people call out abuse because the abuser will still carry on with the abuse, i.e. we cannot control the abuser, but we can control making ourselves being less of a victim. This is why people address the victim and tr…

No it does not. How would people being shocked that a woman was assaulted decrease the act of assault? People already know that assault is wrong, if there is evidence that satisfies the rules of the law, the assaulter will be punished accordingly. Me being shocked that a woman was assaulted will not make the assaulter do the act less, you know why? because that person already knows that assault is wrong yet they do it anyways. So no, assault is not normalised, for it to be normalised would imply…

Again, OP is not saying men should be indecent, maybe you missed that part.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/05/24 08:13 PM

So how can people make hitting a woman not normalised? Let's say the assault incidents increased by 30% in the last year, but everyone was always repulsed by the occurrence of the act, would that make assault not normal? What exactly is your goal by saying violence is normalised?

Ahh, gotcha. The only thing I would agree on is that women do factor emotions to their decision making more so than men, and sometimes emotions only (bear vs man debate), but I would not go as far as to say they are incapable of making logical decisions. If you look at a woman's POV, taking emotions into account makes the decision rational, so I cannot fault them on that a lot.

What does this have to do with hypergamy? Just because the man is making $60k/year does not mean the woman in question did not apply the rules of hypergamy. Hypergamy simply means marrying or being in a relationship with a person of higher social class than yourself (i.e. dating up). So with your example, if the woman is a bar tender or waitress and marries a chef, she applied the rules of hypergamy.

Sure, emotion is not the opposite of logic, but, if you study decision making you will see often that logical decision making is normally pinned against emotional decision making. Emotions often cloud logic, even though they are not opposites. This is what men mean by illogical, it's not that the women are literally illogical, it's the fact that some/most of their decisions are clouded by emotions. But from the son's POV it is illogical to hire someone when he is there and available to do the job. Sure. But there are women who withhold sex. Not all, but they exist.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/02/24 05:27 PM

You are talking about a situation where you are already in the mood, I am saying that other women require actions from a man in order to be in the mood. If she is intentionally denying those advances, she is intentionally not allowing herself to be in the mood. The reasons why she is denying them can be plentiful, whether from not wanting to have sex that day, or intentionally punishing him for something.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/02/24 05:00 PM

How can she feel them if she is denying them? There's already one woman in the comments who told you that she intentionally deprived herself of sex since there was conflict in the relationship, so I will not discuss further, unless you have something else to say.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/02/24 04:39 PM

Wrong, if she is "withholding sex", she is denying your advances to get her in the mood. We all know that most of the time a man has to get the woman in the mood, thus if she is withholding, she is denying your advances. For “withhold” to make sense here it would have to suggest that she’s denying herself sex she wants to spite him. Yeah, she actually would do this. Women are capable of anything and everything humanly possible, just like men.

I'm going off of the assumption that because we live in a "blue pill society" most people are using some form of blue pill tactics. Being nice, genuine, stable, good hygiene, etc. I guess the problem people have with the blue pill is this assumption that people struggling with dating is because they are not nice enough or do not shower enough. If showering and having basic hygiene makes someone blue pill, I guess the majority of people are blue pill. People go to red pill because they want to un…

But you do not know what they actually had to do to get those relationships. Plus, this stat includes people who did not have to be "nice" in order to get a relationship. It includes people who had to use red pill tactics to get a relationship. It includes people who were in abusive relationships. It includes people who "did not take care of themselves" to get a relationship. So again, how does it prove that the blue pill is correct? If the blue pill says "if you lower your expectations low enou…

I don't get what this has to do with controlling emotions. I am saying, if I like someone, time will not make me dislike them. Only if they change is what will make me dislike them. And isn't, you know, not being into you usually a dealbreaker? Someone not liking me will not make me dislike them back. I still like them, however, I will not pursue anything further as they don't feel the same way. And the only way for me to know that they do not want me would be to express my feelings for them a…

Standards refer to more than looks though. I don't know much about your own mental issues, but I am sure they did not just come out of thin air. They are there due to what is going on around you. they won’t be alone though, the majority of people find their person. If the people "you" find attractive all have high standards that you do not meet, you will be alone, unless you decide to date people you do not find attractive. Therefore, standards DO matter. The desire would vanish. That's kind of how crushes and feelings work generally. Maybe men and women process feelings differently. As a guy, the only way feelings for a woman would vanish is if that woman does something that makes her unattractive or is a deal breaker. No amount of time will magically make those feelings go away if nothing changes about the person I am attracted to.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/01/24 06:12 AM

This started out as a neutral discussion and then became a "hey men, why are you mad at women" at the end. Anyways, 1 person having high standards, no problem. 10 people having high standards, no problem. The majority of the people you are attracted to having high standards becomes your problem as you will be alone along with them. If your post history is true regarding your life, do you not think the standards contribute to how you feel? Meaning they do matter.

I think that a lot of women ENJOY being able to rely on a man for emotional comfort, feelings of safety, etc. In order for you to be able to rely on someone, you should be able to follow them or yield to their authority, otherwise how are you relying on them if you won't listen to them. Most of what the comment said was mostly babble about how amazing she is I will give you that, but I probably glanced over the comment after reading the first few sentences. Submission is literally conforming and yielding to authority Isn't this what the comment was saying when they said the following: " Men who are genuinely masculine in a safe and healthy way tend to generate submission from their wife or girlfriend organically and without struggle. " Meaning, a woman will willingly submit to such a man, i.e. she will willingly conform and yield to his authority? This is what I got from the comment made.

" A political movement is a collective attempt by a group of people to change government policy or social values. " According to wikipedia. So what are they trying to change?

Many are very individualistic and don't try to collectively enact political change to address their perceived grievances. Red pill is not a political movement. When most people speak of settling they refer to preferences because anytime someone mentions changing your standards in order to find the person you love, people consider that as settling. Based on the number of divorces out there, I would assume the majority of people settle.

Here's the gist of it. Women get fucked, while the man does the fucking. That's it. Look at the gay community, people sometimes jokingly ask "so who is the one who does the fucking?" Same thing with lesbians, people sometimes jokingly ask "so who wears the strap-on?" This is why fathers do not like the idea of their daughters having a boyfriend. Constantly wanting sex with new women when most* women don’t want sex with random men makes women feel like men don’t actually care about them as people only as sex objects Here's the thing though, I do not think that men (the average man) is constantly wanting sex with different women since there are men who are not having sex at all. One can argue that women care more as for them it has to be special and worth it. It has more weight thus they care about it. Think of a person applying for a job, if person A is applying for every job available, they are desperate for the job. I’d make jokes, some of them risky but often get bigger laughs. Reading your post, one might think that, according to you, someone who is stoic does not make jokes.

You know how men do not want to be settled for by the single moms, it's a similar concept. Desperate people come off as people who will choose anyone so long as the other person agrees. So, the desperate person is not choosing you because they want you, but rather they just want another person next to them.

Define fat. Maybe include links to pictures of women you consider fat. Also, seems like you are assuming that men find every skinny girl hot and every "fat" girl unattractive, which is false. Men have a range of body types they are attracted to. Thus "fat" needs to be described if you want a more precise answer. The fat is also dependent on where it is. If it is mostly in the mid area like stomach, then there's high chance that woman will be unattractive. On the other hand, a fat woman with well…

I hear you. If I have never given a man a reason to question my fidelity This seems to be a recurring response. But my counter is, while you might not have given him any doubt, he might see signs that, to him, seem like you are or were cheating. Maybe he sees behaviour he saw from past relationships that occurred because the woman was cheating, while in your case, those behaviours are just normal behaviours. Telling me earlier in the relationship that he has trouble trusting anyone and would lik…

Just do one behind her back. Wouldn't this add more fuel to the fire should she ever find out you went ahead and did it? But the question though is not really about pregnancy, but why one accusation is different to another when you are being accused of a similar act.

Ok I get that. If a man finds himself in a situation where he is questioning the paternity of his child, what would you rather him do?
/r/PurplePillDebate19/10/23 06:28 PM

Okay, seems like you are assuming things here. 1, that I know nothing about pregnancy, 2, that the woman who got pregnant would have done so willingly. Accidental pregnancies happen. And these are the ones that are most likely to end up in a situation where a woman "decides" who would be the father. I think some women exaggerate the ease of which they'd seek out a divorce, but I will say a fundamental part of their marriage will die and it can never be recovered. Agreed, no issue here, since t…

I do not think a man questioning the paternity of his child is thinking about all those other people, but I get what you are saying. Although, I might make a similar claim about the other infidelity though, albeit to a lesser extent. e.g. By accusing said wife of cheating with Ted, you are assuming she is willing to keep a secret about sleeping with someone else, continue lying by seeing Ted on multiple occasions, risk bringing STIs from Ted to the husband, trick the husband into being into a po…

I completely understand feeling hurt by the accusation. I am not arguing against that at all. To me it seems crazy that some accusations of cheating are easily worked through while others seem to be relationship ending. It's an accusation of the same thing, which is cheating. So why the different reactions? I'll probably just be sad for a couple of days and get over it. And this right here is what confuses me about the women who say they would divorce. Because, while you would be angry and sad f…

I am not understanding you. Are you saying it is okay for a woman to end a relationship if the husband asks for a paternity test? My real question here is, how is it different that the man is accusing a woman of cheating by asking for a paternity test vs a man asking to go through his wife's phone because he thinks she is cheating? Both of these are accusations of cheating, yet some women claim that if he asked for a paternity, they would leave the relationship, sorry, MARRIAGE after.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/10/23 05:43 PM

But both of these are accusations of 1 thing "CHEATING". How is one worse than the other when you are being accused of doing the same thing.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/10/23 05:37 PM

But the reason stated for wanting to end the relationship is that the man is accusing the wife of cheating, she feels betrayed. The reasons have nothing to do with the child's life.

That's fair. I would have had an issue if you were with someone who has not figured himself out yet and pressuring him to do so. Mostly for men self-improvement comes when they see a need for it (kind of like what I said about tidying up lol). If someone tells us to do XYZ, it will likely not get done on time. But if someone shows us that something needs to be done, it will get done. I do not claim to speak for every man though, people are different.

No problem with the long answer, I appreciate that you actually took the time to write all that. It's good that you know what you want and are doing what you must to achieve it. Personally I would not call someone who currently has no aspirations as not mature. Some people take longer to find what they actually want to do with their lives. Alright, understandable. This is in line with what I've seen and heard from other women. I personally feel much more mature compared to guys my age In what sense do you feel more mature than them and do you think this is about maturity or perhaps just different priorities that you might have compared to them? I am also generally in love with an idea of being the younger partner. What is it about this dynamic that you love?

No no! See, it's the patriarchy. You've been conditioned to want to date older men and you are being manipulated. Your brain has not fully developed yet. Honestly learning about periods when you’re a younger dude would be very beneficial to your dating life and your friendship with other women. In what way? No woman has ever told me that they cannot carry on a relationship with me due to my disinterest in period conversations. Personally, what would you want to gain by discussing your period with a man, let's say your male friend? We have never experienced it so whatever we would say would be parroting things we have heard from other women.

I don't think the redpill tells men to ignore women. Sounds like something MGTOW would say. I also don't think 30-year-olds are trying to date "most college aged women", they surely are trying to date the women that they see are dating older men. So, where is the issue?
/r/PurplePillDebate09/10/23 04:47 PM

You keep talking about lying, I am talking about being friends with someone, nothing about lying. Are there people who lie, sure. Others are friends yes and also have ulterior motives. I am not against women dating male friends. My issue is with the wording of predator. There are people who actively advocate that if you want something in life, befriend the people who have that thing. You want success in your field, befriend people in your field. No one says this is predatory just because someone is befriending another person because they will benefit somehow. Even in your suggestion, you want women to befriend men if they want a romantic relationship. i.e. there is an ulterior…

So what makes someone a predator is if they want sex. What if I befriend a rich guy because I might need some help financially at some point? What if I befriend someone with a yacht because I know they will invite me along sometimes? What if I befriend someone who owns a company because they might hire me if I need a job? Well it seams like most men still prefer to try their luck by approaching woman Well yeah, because they found that woman attractive and want to have sex with her. That man is only looking for sex from that woman. Have you not heard women complain that they once or on multiple occasions slept with a man and after she slept with him he became uninterested in her? Have you not heard women complain about how they felt used for sex only?
/r/PurplePillDebate07/10/23 01:14 AM

What you are saying make sense if the man is looking for a relationship. If the man is only looking for sex, there's no need for any compatibility or shared interests. Men can separate sex from intimacy, look at prostitution. Do you think prostitution exists because men want women whom he can laugh with and match with personality wise?

They think so because they see women make fun of guys with no history and date men who are in relationships. The women reward the guys who sleep around and punish the men who do not. So if male virginity or male low number is to be desired, it would have to start with women as a whole to value such from men.

Women do these things because they get benefits from doing them. They get made fun of and they still do it, because the benefits outweigh the public mockery. In that case he probably is not interested. Again, this has nothing to do with the fact that you put in effort. If I were attracted to a girl and she was not into me, it doesn't matter how much effort I put if she is not into me at all. This does not mean she rejected me because I put in effort, she was never interested in the first place.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/08/23 06:07 PM

That's not it. According to the OP, the reason the woman gets rejected is due to her putting in effort. What I am saying is, putting in effort is not the reason she would get rejected. Other factors mattered in her getting rejected, not the fact that she put in effort. In simple terms, according to OP, if 2 girls are after 1 guy, one girl puts in extra effort and another does not, all else equal, the girl who put in less effort would win. This is incorrect.

A woman's career is beneficial in her dating life but not in the way you think. Let me explain. Your career benefits you by exposing you to the men in that career or social circle. Meaning, a female dentist is more likely to date other doctors due to her spending time with other doctors. OP is looking for gay sex with other men who want gay sex and not a romantic relationship, and is complaining about the fact that those guys only want sex and are not interested in holding deep conversations. Make it make sense. u/BusinessClass208 why are you even concerned about someone cheating if you are not interested in a romantic relationship?

Sure. And for girls, in order for them to be women they need to take care of themselves. Learn to cook and clean. Men want a submissive woman, not a masculine boss b. Also, men are not financial resources, they are people. Treat them as such.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/07/23 04:58 PM

Besides the commitment and vows the spouses take, leaving a girlfriend involves 2 people. You and the girlfriend. With spouses, like you said, the government is involved. Legal costs. Attorneys/Lawyers. Kids. In laws. Alimony. Child support. Child mental issues. Asset splits, and so forth. It's not about which one hurts more.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/07/23 01:19 PM

Leaving a boy/girlfriend is not the same as leaving a wife/husband.

Not OP, but I think I can answer. It's not about a woman being helpless, it's about being needed to do something, or wanted for certain things. Example, say my girlfriend had a flat tire while driving, it would be nice for her to call me to come help her out. If she calls roadside assistance and not me I would feel some type of way about it. This is just one example. Even though she has other options (i.e. not helpless), being the option she picks first is basically what men want. If you as a wo…

I remember this discussion, will try sum it up. Hypocrisy: Promiscuity is bad and everyone should be faithful and have 1 or few partners. The speaker however does not live up to this belief as they are promiscuous. NOT hypocrisy: Women should not be promiscuous but men can be promiscuous. This is not hypocrisy but a double standard. If the speaker is a man, since all your given examples are referring to men, and this man is promiscuous but expects women not to be promiscuous, this is a double st…

Cool, and I am not against women wanting masculinity in men and them not wanting to be in the masculine role, so I agree with what you said. I want to ask you why does it feel difficult for a man to keep initiating thing during the relationship? Is it laziness, insecurities or maybe a lack of appreciation by the woman? Why is insecurity mostly the number 1 go to argument women make? What insecurities would a man have that makes him not initiate a date with his woman? Personally, I would initia…

I mostly agree with what you said, but want to ask or add a few things. Regarding initiating dates, yes men do initiate dates at the beginning, but once the relationship is in full swing, why don't women initiate dates? As a man, I know I need to put effort in so the relationship can begin, but once we are in a relationship, I would like to see the woman I am with to also seem interested in the relationship by initiating things and telling me what she would like to do. So why don't women like to…

This is not what the OP is talking about though. A girl who was shy and did not approach guys is normal and expected. What the OP is talking about is a situation where the guy approached the girl, asked her out and the girl rejected him. Actively rejected him. Then 10 years later she comes back and says "i've had my fun and now i don't want to do all those fun things, I now want to be with you". You are safe don't worry. No guy wants "revenge" from you because you were shy in high school.

Sometimes people just don't think things through. On one hand they say they are concerned about the safety of women and that men should protect women from these bad and evil men out there, then on the other hand they advocate for women to invite different men to literary go inside their bodies when a woman is at her most vulnerable.

Or, men and women are different and are attracted to different things in each other. If men and women looked for the same things in each other no one would partner up. There are things that have to be different. i.e. if both men and women looked for a tall partner, no one would partner up with each other because someone has to be shorter than the other. On the matter of career women, what qualities does a career person have that attracts the opposite person? Normally a career-oriented person kno…

Women risk the chances of getting assaulted, STDs and pregnancy by engaging in hookup culture. There’s no gain for a woman in sleeping around unless she’s doing it for money or to gain power. This is the real answer. And as a man, I am not angry at women who do this (i'm sure some men are) I just think they are being careless and I do not want such a person in my life.

I didn't look at the videos and will only respond to the career topic. There's a difference between employed women, career driven women, and boss babes. (according to me at least) Employed women: Men do not have an issue with these women. These are women who go to work, probably enjoy what they do, or not, and get a paycheck so they can go live their lives. Most men want these women. Career women: Often put career ahead of everything. That's good for her, but not always good for the relationship…

Most people marry within their socioeconomic circle. Despite this sub always denying that fact, it is in fact reality. I don't think people here deny this. They normally complain that women want Chads. What people want and what they get are not always the same thing. If most people end up driving cars that cost around USD30 000, that does not prove that they never wanted to drive cars costing more than that.

I disagree with the statement that it affects the standards of attractiveness. There's always been men attracted to big women and there's always been men attracted to thin women. Otherwise why would porn categories like BBW even exist in the first place? As a man, what attracts me is not based on what I see on fashion magazines because I never look at fashion magazines. True, we like "natural" looking make up because it looks natural and does not seem like you are wearing make up. The problem is, most of the time we only see these women wearing make up all the time, to the point where one day if the woman decides not to wear make up, they look different and we prefer to look at their made-up version. You are right. There is no "acceptable time or place to approach a woman" because no one knows the exact time and place they will meet their desired partner. You can approach a woman ANYWHERE. The woman just has to find something about you attractive to HER in order for the interaction to go smooth. If you get a no, take it and leave, do not try to change a no to a yes, unless you already know that woman. Do NOT join a club with the intention of meeting a woman. If you join any club, find a club…

Workplace romance is not the problem. The issue is that it opens up the possibility of a superior using their position to either force or influence the subordinate to be in the relationship. Also, the person in power is taking a huge risk if they try flirting with someone who reports to them. A lot of people still meet at work, so it’s not as if workplace romance is not allowed.

True, it is high. My argument is that most men are not violent. The number of violent men decreases even further when you take into account that most violent men are repeat offenders, if it was their first time they will probably do it again. Meaning, if 100 000 women suffered sexual harassment in the last 6 months, it is unlikely that 100 000 men committed sexual harassment. Chances are each man committed more than 1 act of sexual harassment on average. so the number of perpetrators is smaller …

For men it has nothing to do with mutual attraction, if it was, rape would not be a problem in our society. This is the difference with men and women, most women need attraction in order to have sex, some do not, but most do. I am not misrepresenting what you said. You believe the patriarchy can end capitalism. So the fact that capitalism is alive is because the patriarchy is keeping it alive. To answer your original question, no. If a man works on himself and becomes a high value man (in any way people define high value), he is not to blame if other men are not getting women. You can blame women for sharing the same guy. Yes, there are women who knowingly get with a man who is in a relationship already, even married, so long as they get their fair share of the man and his resources.

You do know that beauty and youth are part of the things men look for right? It's not the ONLY thing that matters but it is what sets the attraction in motion. We do care about who women are, and we are willing to overlook certain areas where she is lacking given how attractive the woman is. That is why comedy shows talk about the crazy-hot graph, where they say the more attractive a woman is, the more men are willing to deal with her crazy behaviors.

You cannot dictate what people should and should not be proud of or find attractive. There are men who are proud of their wife's income, the majority on the other hand do not care. I don't think it is about women not understanding men, but rather women projecting their values on to others. I agree with this. Most women tell us that they do makeup and hair and all these things to make themselves beautiful so they can feel good not to attract men.
