These are both extremes; I think the real answer isn’t so black and white. Women don’t necessarily want stability. They want what most people want: consistency. They want their bf/husband to be the same person he was when they first met, because that’s what attracted her. Now, I’m not saying that he shouldn’t grow and mature over time, but the fundamental parts of his personality should more or less stay the same over the years. The problem is that a lot of guys are pretending to be something th…

Physical attractiveness has literally nothing to do with OP’s post, but ok
/r/PurplePillDebate16/12/20 01:59 AM

That’s true, but most guys can grow at least some facial hair. Even a mustache is still better than nothing, unless it makes you look like a pedo I guess
/r/PurplePillDebate15/12/20 09:01 AM

Nah, the unattractive-ness comes from when men try to save their hair even though it’s a lost cause. Shave your head and grow a beard when you start thinning

I suppose so, although there isn’t really another concise way to describe what I’m talking about. If you’re curious, head over to r/troubledteens. They describe it pretty well in their side bar. TL;DR, it’s an industry that profits off the abuse of children and teenagers. Most troubled teen programs are entirely unregulated and have no oversight. Some have even gotten away with children dying on their watch.

I agree, really does feel exhausting. Although, as much as I hate the "just be yourself" advice, I've learned that there is some truth to it. I've been taking a lot of time to find out what specific traits about myself attract people, and which ones tend to push people away. That way, when I'm ready to start dating again, I'll have a better idea of which things I already do naturally to "showcase" or "put on display" and which traits I should try to either keep hidden until I know a woman really…

I definitely fit into the “high functioning autism” category. But also, I’ve always done horrible in the dating world. I usually just lurk on this sub, a number of other subs in the “manosphere”, and several generic dating subs because I’m trying to get an idea of what to do, what not to do, and how to better myself once I’m ready to put myself back out there. I’m a 26 year old single dude, if that helps.

What if you’re working in a customer service job and a guy compliments something that you’re wearing (that isn’t part of your uniform)? For example, I was at Starbucks and I complimented the barista’s facemask. It was a snakeskin pattern and I thought it looked cool. Obviously facemasks are part of their uniform, but none of the baristas were wearing official Starbucks masks or anything like that, so I figured it was a safe compliment. She smiled and said thank you, and that was that. I ordered …

Literally the only reason that’s when men hit their “peak” is because most of the time, that’s when they’re at a point financially where they can finally afford to date whoever and however they want.

Please explain how I’m projecting my feelings. I’m not angry, but when someone says “ WeLl YoU jUsT hAtE wOmEn!1!” It usually comes from a place of anger. I would especially consider this to be the case for you, since it seems like that’s what you fell back to once you ran out of logical arguments to make against u/TheJim66.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/07/20 03:12 AM

It seems like you got angry when you ran out of good arguments. This is a place for debating, not angry, emotionally charged reactions. EDIT: a word

I see what you mean. It can be difficult learning to approach if you’ve never done it before, especially for someone like me on the autism spectrum. I definitely pay attention when I’m trying to set up a date and the girl says she’s free on a certain day, but even after I ask then I’ll usually get ghosted. Like, am I asking too soon?
/r/PurplePillDebate12/07/20 02:29 AM
5

That all makes sense, and I agree. Can you give me a couple examples of what you consider to be a “perfect opportunity” to ask a girl out? It seems to me that most of the time, women are way too subtle but they’ll think they’re being super obvious.

I actually go to church every Sunday. I'm pretty sure that if none of the women I've met there are capable of being faithful, then it's just not possible. All of the happy, married couples I've met have said they met in church, or through church, or through Christian friends. All of the women I've (casually) been with are women I've met in person, and I only met one of them in a place where you'd expect to find unfaithful women anyway (a club). I live in the bible belt, in a pretty conservative …

I literally just want to be with a woman who I can trust enough to not cheat on me. Surprise surprise, no one I've met since discovering TRP 3 years ago is someone who could meet that extremely low bar.

They basically are, yea. I don’t know much about Hillsong but there are a lot of things about Elevation that I dislike/disagree with. Two examples being that they preach the prosperity gospel and their senior pastor seems to be one of those “untouchable” celebrity pastors. I do see your point though, I do still plan to attend one of their services sometime just to see for myself.

Thank you. I’ve already been really lucky in one of those areas. I’m in a life group that meets every Thursday night. They’re a solid group of guys and they’re diverse in their relationships (meaning they’re a good mix of single, in relationships, engaged, and married), and for two years now we’ve met every single Thursday night without missing a week. Even in the face of this quarantine, we’ve still made sure to get on zoom every Thursday night. They give me tough love when I need it too, which…

Thank you, I probably needed to hear this. To add to this, nobody has even been to church in months. That first Sunday back at church once quarantine ends, everyone will probably just be happy to be back in the company of actual people again; anything weird I might have done/said in the past will be the last thing on their minds. We’ll all be there for fellowship and fun, it’s easy to capitalize on that.

Plenty of unattractive guys get away with a lot too. You and I both know that while attractiveness is important, it’s obviously not the only factor at play, otherwise half the people on this sub still wouldn’t be getting laid after taking the pill.

I don’t think that the way she turned out is what made me so happy. I actually felt a combination of pity and guilt for her. What put me in such a good mood was more so the reminder of the progress I’ve made since the last time I was friends with her. The disconnect between who I am now and my high school beta self is huge, and that makes me happy.

Go take a look at r/deadbedrooms. I was surprised to find that most of the dead bedrooms on there are women who aren’t getting sex from their husbands, not the other way around. Porn addiction and frequent masturbation among their husbands also seems to be a common thread in most of these dead bedrooms.

I think you misunderstand what he means by “making rules”. He’s talking about the rules women make for themselves. It’s the bullshit you hear women say like “I won’t go out with any guy who does/doesn’t do xyz.” Or “I’m not dating anyone for at least a year! I’m just going to focus on myself!” Or “I’m new here, I’m only looking to make friends right now.” Then, not even a few hours later, she’s breaking all 3 of those “rules” and taking a giant alpha dick up her ass in the bathroom at a club. Have you ever actually read anything in TRP’s sidebar? I mean, you’re correct in the sense that they do encourage things like lifting to make yourself more attractive, but they tend to emphasize making changes to your personality. They list out specific things you can do to accomplish that as well, like doing things to take care of yourself and put yourself first. They encourage pursuing hobbies, advancing in your career, traveling, and forgetting about women until you have learned how to be hap…

Can someone please explain to me what the hell the “purple pill” is? I’ve looked at the sub and their explanation made no sense, it just sounded like hippie nonsense. Is it supposed to be a mix of the red and blue pills?

I’m confused. It does kind of seem like she’s saying that in the middle of the essay, but she concludes it by basically saying that she made the right choice in marrying him.

If you post the video, you will only further hurt yourself. Light switch effect could (sort of) come into play. She’ll victimize herself and turn the blame on you, and everyone in her life will go along with it because she has a vagina. “What did he do to make her so angry that she would threaten him with a knife? She must have been so scared!” “What did he do right before he started recording? He probably antagonized her, so she was just defending herself! What a queen 😍” And other iterations o…

I’ve noticed. Tbh, dealing with the increased amount of shit tests at work has actually become fun for me. I almost wish that people in my social circle would start throwing them at me too, but I feel like they’ve already decided my place, and that’s where I’ll stay no matter what. I’m probably going to do what another commenter said and start building a new social circle.

Ok but now I’m confused. Why should you lift, then? I get self improvement but most people here want to self improve so that they can get laid, right?

I know, but what I’m saying is that I don’t see any reason to leave this friend group. They’re good friends who want me to succeed in life. They don’t bullshit me or try to avoid hurting my feelings; if I’m screwing something up they’ll tell me. Basically, I’ve never seen them exhibit any typical blue pill behavior. So how do I know if I need to cut them from my life?

I got into bowhunting. It’s really fun and when I kill a buck I get enough meat to last 6 months or so. It’s unfortunately not that unique of a hobby where I live in the south, but most consider it a “manly” hobby and it’s at least more unique than gaming.
