Yes, if I saw her again somewhere or maybe a different girl then I will strike a convo definitely without thinking of any outcome. Even if it doesn't lead anywhere, I will do it. Thankyou

Thank you for the advice. I think some people may have identified the real cause of that hesitation: if she didn’t like me, it would shatter my self-image or self-worth. I wouldn’t call it ego, but I’d say maybe I tend to please people through the things I say or do, and I guess that might be related to low self-esteem. But I will definitely try this method—just moving toward that person without a second thought and not thinking about the outcome. But your suggestion is really good, you just fli…

I don't have any problems talking to anyone wherever I go like any public space. But the moment I see someone whom I think is attractive, that triggers the freeze thing and the same situation happens which I mentioned above. I've approached women earlier too. But I think this like a muscle and we have to keep doing it to build that. Now, if I saw the same girl outside or a different one, I will give my shot by not thinking of the outcome. Thank you

That's right ! We don't know what will happen, it can become the best interaction of my life as well or it can be anything and I'll never know if I don't do it. Much appreciated thank you

This is very accurate. I believe I had that thought in my mind somewhere that if she rejected me or something goes wrong, it will impact my self worth. This is maybe due to low self-esteem I guess. But I will try to improve on this. We all are normal human beings and we should treat everyone like that. Yes, I can speak with any guy or even girl which is normal and whom I didn't find attractive but this changes the moment I put someone on pedestal. Got your point

This is really good. It's not about success or rejection but it's more about how am I taking the moment and enjoying that by having fun and not thinking about any outcomes. Thank you

I believe technology and social media have made people too comfortable being alone. Many people don’t even want to have normal conversations with others anymore.

How to get rid of that hesitation which happens the moment I think of approaching anyone? I feel my brain is saying don't go and heart says you will miss this chance and then I just stay at the same place creating fake scenarios in my mind and nothing happens. How to improve this?

In that case, you guys can go to a hotel to hang out or just simply try to talk to her and explain her this situation. If she's really into you she'd agree to go with you even at her place as well.

I am new to the dating aspect of my life. I don't know how soon it happens. I know it happens when it happens and the timing is natural. But still there is no romantic or sexual tension developed. It just goes in a friendly way.

How do you guys get rid over the hesitation of approaching women? I really feel to talk whenever I see someone attractive but this thing inside me, its nerves or something which stops me and tries to keep me safe and avoid any trouble by approaching them or create any scene. But in reality, the bad will not even happen that much the way I overthink it. So do i get rid of that ick?

What an amazing comment section. Supportive people all around. This is a good use of reddit imo as it boosts confidence for the doers.

Even if you approached and got rejected, that still makes you a winner as you're way ahead of most of the guys who just thinks of approaching and create scenarios only in mind and never have the courage to take the action. Well done and keep approaching more, you never know you might click with an amazing person.

I believe you should never say "Date" just say "we can hangout or do you wanna go out this weekend?". I think that fits more when asking someone out. Just a suggestion

Great advice. Don't become desperate just to get laid. Improve your overall personality. Unlock your skill by socializing more and expecting less

My friend uses Snapchat and Instagram only to post his photos with looks and doing gym or some cool stuff and he usually gets DM's from girls and then they setup a date. He says approach doesn't work everytime so he prefers this way.

Can't I say something like "Hey i know this is completely random but you look absolutely gorgeous" ?? Also to reach even at this compliment, why does hesitation always kicks in?? Its not like I never did an approach earlier but they were only friendly convo like asking directions or time.

This literally works, if you just say to yourself something like this or "I am the the god of confidence" your subconscious mind works like that and you build resilience

The thing you mentioned here about the polite followup, My inner self wanted to ask that, but mind took over myself and said okay, I'll leave that. My mind started speaking to me like "Okay, if she doesn't have socials then its okay, atleast I tried." I was not able to follow up with this reply. I think it will improve by talking to more and more people. Then i will be able to figure out the proper dynamics. I don’t talk to people that much and don't approach women frequently, I believe that's t…

This is a great advice, hitting gym will make you physically attractive, give you confidence and make your presence worth even in crowd. When you get good physique then work on your social skills. Talk to random people around you i.e on streets, gym, at work and try to do some banter in between, try to hook people in interesting conversation and always smile and whenever you speak. 70% should be listening and rest you should speak. People like to be heard. Just say 3..2..1 and then jump in whene…

Even i notice a lot of beautiful women everyday in the train and now after reading this, gonna hit a shot for sure. Its better to try rather than doing nothing. Thanks bro

Great advice, i think whenever you see someone attractive don't wait beacuse as you wait your mind will start making excuses that why you shouldn't approach the person. Just jump and take the chance, its never a bad thing to try rather than doing nothing and missing the shot. People forget about you within few seconds even after a bad approach so it doesn't matter, nobody gives a fuck about anyone. DON'T THINK JUST DO and you will thank yourself for taking that decision. Goodluck

Be specific and straightforward, don't try to make up things coz you'll end up getting confused and will not know exactly what to say. If you have some kind of connection then you can ask "Would you like to grab drinks this weekend?" If she is interested she will say sure let's meet up then enjoy, If not then move on and find someone else. Its a numbers game

She always comes in a hurry after work but spends around 2-3 mins here on front desk. I am in a doubt should i escalate or not and in what other ways. Also, I think will it impact my job if she didn't liked this fact of asking out by a concierge. And if I didn't do anything, nothing will change, everyday will be like this same hello and smile that's all

I am confused like should I make a move or not, because if I didn't, it will stay like this, everyday smile and hello. Nothing will escalate further. I am also thinking will it impact my job or not like if she thinks that why a normal concierge asking me on a date or something.
