I approached a beautiful girl at the gym today. We used to go to the gym during the daytime, but back then, I hesitated to approach her as my mind kept telling me not to. However, today, I went to the gym in the evening and saw her again. After her workout, I finally decided to approach her.

We introduced ourselves and had a brief conversation about general stuff. When it was time for me to leave, I asked for her Instagram, to which she replied, "Sorry, but I don’t have any social media; it’s highly addictive and all." As she was explaining this, I noticed the whole gym was looking at us, which made the situation a bit awkward but idc. Because of her response about social detox, I couldn’t bring myself to ask for her number. She ended the conversation by saying, "Okay, I’ll see you around," and I left.

Do you think this is a sign that she’s not interested? If I see her again, should I ask for her number, or should I just leave it and stick to being gym buddies? I don’t approach women often, but I want to overcome my nerves and hesitation, which is why I did it today. What should I do?
