Well, this is own your shit, and you spent and entire paragraph talking about shit you are trying to own for your wife. I didn't read anything about what you want to do with your life. Lifting, eating, all good, but those just a means to an end. What your end? What are the thing(s) that you are perusing that drives you each day? Is your wife on board with those things, not the day to day things you're doing to improve yourself. Talk about how you're leading your wife to your promise land not her…

That's a lot of words to basically say, you captained the ship and she was grateful. Guys there is more. There is so much more than fucking table scraps. Look man, it's cool that your wife expressed thanks. A lot of guys don't even get that, but cheese and fucking crackers, you wrote 15 paragraphs to express it. That tells me that this really means something to you. My wife has been out of town for a while and told me to buy some super glue because she was gonna break my dick when she got home. …

I'm only down a couple of pounds, but I wish I'd taken some body measurements when I started. What's your Height/Weight? If you're just starting out you should be shooting for at least a pound a week if you're overweight, more if you're obese. If that's not happening you need to either do better with your training or your eating or both. but I wish I'd taken some body measurements. Do it today then. No more wishing for shit. I'm supportive of what she wants to do (I love that she's passionate ab…

Can I get one of those cookies RedJive is giving out? Lifting: On point. Haven't missed a workout. Just got back from one and I'm feelin high. I missed two DL sessions as I think I pulled something. I did dumbbell pulls in place of those. Back feels crazy strong. Eating: This is where I've made the most progress. I'm down 14lbs. Been doing IF with a 6-8hr window and I love it. Had some bumps along the way, but I'd say I'm about 7-8lbs away from my goal of sub %10 bf. Hygiene: Taking better care …

I'm referencing a lot of things, but don't walk the reader through them before I do. You know, this begs the question, who are you writing for? Who's your audience? If you're writing for your own posterity, all bets are off. Do what the fuck you want. If you're writing in the hopes that others can glean some wisdom form your experience, wouldn't it be better to throw them a bone? Or are you writing for the types that get satisfaction in putting puzzles together.

Ok, finished the article. How do you find this stuff? A few paragraphs in I started hearing it in Bill Burrs voice. Your comment makes more sense after reading through it (imagine that). TFA 's tone in these definitely appeal to a certain demographic, sadly most in that demographic are probably the same that drink the beer and feel like a man afterward.

He is the kind of man who anxiously looks for something to identify him as a man, while doing nothing to become a man. For him, there's Guinness. That's deep. And sad. I always look at the "pep talks" as a spark for a fire. They are not the fire, but they can potentially be what gets it going. If a guy has prepped his wood correctly, this will light him ablaze for future success. If a guy hasn't laid the ground work then talks like this will resonate bright like a spark and be gone just as fast.

Is there a balance? Do you ever let your hair down. How much preparation is enough? Should we all be digging tunnels and building bunkers in our back yards? I totally agree with you TFA. Our society is soft and men need to step up their game when it comes to readiness. I'm only playing devil's advocate, because I believe extremes can be dangerous. I am trying to approach her side of the story as open as possible. Why? I am taking 100% of the blame for it Unless you shoved her on his dick, you shouldn't. She's still an independent human being with the power of self control. But I believe my wife truly makes my life worth living. I stopped reading here. Until you change this paradigm you're done for. Reality bias. People find a version of reality they like and close their mind to the possibility of a reality other than their own. The best example is religion, but people do it with everything, including TRP. dr_warlock thinks he's doing us a favor by reaching down to us and proselytizing. Good for him. We can indulge him until he's disgusted enough with us and goes back to TRP and reminds them of how sad we all are, and we'll go on continuing to help men improve and enjoy their lives.

All yall fucked up years ago, you got married. lol, no argument here. Trying to dread a wife sounds dumb. You're a slave trying to be a 'higher slave' like (aenimeius?) from Spartacus. Definitely disagree. We don't dread our wives doing something for them. We dread our wives by doing what we desire and in the process becoming better men. They can take it or leave it.

THIS is what I was referring to on game week of 60 Days of dread. I don't think the "suffering" is truly needless. If you're enjoying the relationship it's good for a man to pause and ask himself if the risk of blowing it up for some quick pussy is worth it. It is also good to remind yourself that you can, in case the spouse starts to act up, but just because you're content doesn't mean you don't need to exercise those "game" muscles.

I'm in a cube job working for the MAN. I don't hate it, I don't love it. I'm sticking it out so my kids don't have to pay for my mistakes. Earlier this year I started two notebooks. "Good job matching" N00bs, Newbs, and nubs, take note. See how simple that opener was? Complements with girls are more effective when it's about something they can take credit for (matching clothes) rather than something they had no control over (pretty eyes). If you want to tell a girl she has pretty eyes, stare into them. You want to tell her she has a nice ass, stare at it. If you want to flatter her with words, complement her ego, not her looks. Good FRs are always appreciated.

mastery means being able to explain simple ideas simply. I agree with this. I just don't think Rollo is trying to reach out to the novice. I think he's unpacking ideas at peer level. Those that aren't at that level tend to find something simpler to meet their needs. I find his stuff verbose, and sometimes I scan his stuff, but sometimes I'm captured by the topic and am left wanting more. I did a quick search on Blueprint Decoded and it seems that others feel this too is more complex than it need…

There is something so satisfying in reading about a guy who literally unplugs himself. The guy had no idea what RP was. No forums, no sidebars, just a man who had enough and decided to take his life back. A nice reminder that the Red Pill isn't some fad, or movement, it's just reality.

You care too much. The best way to not come off like you care is to actually not care. The fact that you care if you come across like a bitch means that's probably the way you're going to come across. Who cares what she thinks. If you leave and go do something you want and she' thinks you're acting like a bitch, so what? If you're leaving because you are in fact a salty bitch, well....that you need to change.

I have some thoughts on that. A recent thing from IM, making me believe all his fascination with Dark Triad may be more smoke and mirrors... Do tell... I still go there often. The maxims alone are enough for me. I take nuggets like, "Everything is a tactic or a play or a move, if you can’t see this, it’s because you’re undiscerning, not because it isn’t there." and chew on the for days sometimes.

Ever read Rollo from sosuave? No. I've only consistently read Rollo for the last few months. When I first found TRP, Illimitable Men was my go to. Though I've come a little more center, I was very much into "Fuck the world, I'm getting mine" mindset.

Here is the way I see it: You can glean something good from almost anything. A lot of real gems from this sub, come from the comments. I'm motivated just as much by losers as I am by winners. There are more "n00bs" here than vets. A lot of the content you've seen for the 100th time is the first time they've seen it and the heavens just parted for them. If you want good content, create it. A man's anger should be fucking scary. Agreed, but his reaction was not proportionate to her action. I knew a guy in our office who rarely swore, but when he did, the whole room stopped, because they knew some serious shit went down.

So you threw your temper tantrum and feel better. Was it worth it? She's a woman. You can be 100% right in every single point on any given subject and she'll still find a way to turn it around. Sleep is about 6-7hrs. I sleep like a rock I'm not tracking calories, but I am trying to minimize carbs, and maximize protein. Chicken, pork, beef, protein shakes. Supplements are: fish oil, magnesium, and vitamin D Not specially tracking water, but I drink about 3 of 16oz bottles a day Work out 6day/week, 3 days of cardio. Intensity levels varies. I workout in the morning from 0900-1030. Eat around 1200-1300 and 1700-1900. I don't eat past 2000. I do not test my blood sugar.

If you say so, but I'm confident enough in my game that I know if I throw out a net I'm gonna pull in some fish. What do you want when you game women? The whole point of this drill, for me, is to remind myself I have options, and that it doesn't take much to exercise them if need be.
/r/MarriedRedPill02/05/17 06:02 PM

When I game a woman, it's because I want to fuck her. If I'm going to put in the extra time and effort to give her tingles then I want the payoff that comes with that. Putting myself in a tempting situation where I have a hot chick's number who I know is DTF seems unnecessary. My wife is doing a good job of keeping me satisfied at home so I don't feel motivated to actively game other women....... .....Having said that, I understand that contentment can turn into complacency very easily. the stats show that women don’t want to submit themselves to a man who earns less than her, is less educated and whose status is below what she believes her own is. I would say that status is the most important of these three. It's why a woman like Serena Williams can be engaged to a man who makes way less than her. This is a decent write up. I'm hoping for some good discussion out of this. I don't fully agree, and as someone who has kids and made the decision to break up his family, are some thoughts: If you're in a shitty marriage your kids will be affected regardless of whether you stay or leave. When I discipline my kids I tell them "I discipline you, because I care. If I didn't care, I would let you continue to do the bad things you're doing and you would suffer worse consequences later on." I don't like disciplining my kids, but I do, because I care less about the suffering of their current punishment and more about the future suffering they will encounter if they continue the bad behavior.

I think YOU misunderstand. The fact that he has disdain for the weak men means he cares. He's one of the guys trying to put out the fire. Angry as he is at the current state of men, he's helped quite a few. I'm sure there are others (whatever happened to irateMD?) who have it together and quietly chuckle to themselves as they watch the world burn.

I need something concrete to move forward without regret. I'm going through a divorce right now. My finances will be shit for a while, my wife has gained emotional rallying from MY family, my dad is religiously shaming me... Here's a thought that helped me when I was going through the same. "Fuck everyone else" Parents, church, "friends", EVERYONE. When I went through mine, I went into hibernation. I had played by all their rules, all those years and it brought me misery. That is one of the things that chafes at me about MRP, the harsh attitude and the blaming. There is a healthy balance here. Some people respond better to a kick in the ass, some respond better to a little more empathy. Finally, wondering if anyone has opinions on any other accessories. Head gear, rings, piercings, etc. There are some "rules", but really it's all just made up. Experiment. What's the worst that could happen? I looked for a long time for some good Buddha beads. I tried some on for years, and finally gave up and decided they weren't for me. Had my ears pierced. I owe it to my kids to make this work. I used to think that. Then I realized my house was a hostile environment, and I had checked out mentally. Every man has his breaking point, and I will tell you, it is not good for the kids when a man reaches that point. Every situation is different, so you do you, but from someone who has been there, sometimes it's better to leave.

You can go on Ebay, find an old-ish pair of Allen Edmond's for around $50-100, get them recrafted (like new) and still pay less than a new pair. It takes some research, but absolutely worth the savings when you find a really good pair.

Anyone got any good suggestions for a very nice stylish watch that can hold up to the elements? Seiko is a good place to start. They make watches that rival (exceed) Rolex, but also lower end beater watches like the skx007 while maintaining quality. Here's a good place to look to find just about anything to suit your needs. If you're wanting to go Swiss Hamilton makes some good filed watches that can dress up or down.

We talked about this some last week, but I'm going to do IF. This week I will eat one meal a day ( so roughly an 18 hr fast) and next week I'm going to try the 44 hour fast. Whichever works best is the one I will be doing the rest of the 60 days. The BIG change I need is to drink less. I've already had some success with the Men of March thing. Knowing what you know now, and having the tools you have now, do you regret the divorce? Not for one second. I found the following: Between 40-48 hours. Less than 40 hours and you won’t reap all the benefits of the extended two day fast. More than 48 hours and cortisol continues to rise. There is also the possibility of beginning to burn lean muscle tissue at this point, although I feel this fear is wildly overblown. Still, 40-48 hours seems to be the “sweet spot” for getting the most bang for your buck out of a regular fasting program.

It takes time and consistent, competent leadership for her to believe that if she follows, it won't lead to disaster. It's going to take more than 3 months to convince a woman you're worth followi…

How did you go a year without playing your main instrument?!?
/r/MarriedRedPill27/03/17 10:56 PM

The short answer: Study. The long answer is it depends. When I was first learning to play, I just rewound the tape and tried to mimic what I heard x1000 until I made it sound exactly like what I heard. When I got older and started getting more formal training I learned that just because I could make a piece sound exactly like the tape, my technique wasn't always right, and that hindered me later on when learning more advanced things. In the age of information, it's easier than ever when picking …

As I said before, my method over the last few years is to just get busy with my new life and not think about her, or the past. Calm your tits, doc. I don't agree with WMP this time, but at least he doesn't sound like a butt hurt 13yr who just had his birthday party canceled. Try not to be so dense when reading this. I really don't think OP's point is to copy paste this to his kids. It's an admonition to have a a RP conversation with young men. My father was/is old school and very RP, but I wish he had sat me down and explained some of these things to me while I was a teenager.

Ooooh, look at the big brain on Brad! You and your high horse need to relax. The point of his post is that we need to sit down and have an honest discussion with our boys about the reality of the nature of men and women rather than the fantasy society panders. He chose a creative way to present it.

I'm showing them how marriage can be a good deal. If they decide to take the risk I wouldn't judge them poorly. Plus, I'm not against LTRs. Having said that you're jumping to incorrect conclusions about how I teach my kids. Hint: it's not through hyperbole.

So, you chose to quote "they should never get married" but left out the most important word, "why". I'm married, living the married life in front of them, so they see by action marriage isn't the boogie man, nor would I tell them that. I will tell them why marriage in this day and age is a bad deal for them and it has less to do about women and more to do with the state.

We all know it's hard, and your "hard" is a cake walk compared to some of the other guys here. Whenever I go to partying and plating women my life becomes a mess, I fall into addiction and spend reckless amounts of money and my life goes no where good. I don't need to say much about this. This is why these challenges are important. Look at how your body adapted in just one week. Think about what you could accomplish by being consistent for 3 months, 6 months, a year! When traveling something is better than nothing. I see guys just go "buck wild" because they are away and make the excuse that shitty equipment is "unusable". V-Day for woman is just a competition between themselves to see who has the better provider. It's not about you. You make them feel bad, not because they don't think you love them, but because what you did, or didn't do doesn't compare to what some other schlub did for his wife. I'm with Scurv, in that you want a 'hug box'. You're asking if anyone else "feels this way?" So what if we do, so what if we don't, it won't change the situation you're in. We're (men) are about doing, not feeling. -First: Figure out what you want -Second: Figure out how to get it -Third: Do whatever it takes to get it. -Fourth: Get it and be happy. Notice how your wife doesn't come up in this at all. She may or may not be by your side in the end, but that shouldn't matter by that point.

My point is if you're afraid to do a pushup in front of someone, do it in the corner of your house by yourself until you're not afraid anymore. Good on you for making a tough decision. Divorce with kids can be a quagmire. Once you start, don't stop. Don't feel sorry for her. Don't let others around you shame you. Make up your mind and do what you need to with iron resolve. I went through through this shit on my own years ago and it sucks. PM myself or some of the others here if you need to when it gets difficult.....because it's going to get difficult. Having said that, as with most difficult things, it was worth it.

You're getting shit, but I'd say you're headed in the right direction. Eventually, instead of pretending like you don't care, you actually won't, and when she comes up and says "I don't want to fight anymore" you'll say something like "Cool, let's fuck instead" Try not to think so much in terms of 'right' and 'wrong' women don't work that way' "I told you so" doesn't really go well, because it shows you're insecure and need the validation of being right.

The strongest tool the negotiator has is the ability to walk away. If he can't/won't and she knows it, she can do whatever she wants. Having said that, why does it matter? If this is what his stance is, and he mentally understands TRP, it's his choice.

This is not a good thing. A lot of wives "feel guilty" because they don't feel the way they're supposed to about their husbands, while their husbands still seem to feel that way about them. That guilt leads to her feeling like she owes you. Which builds up to resentment. Which builds up to "I love you but I'm not in love with you", or cheating to deliberately destroy the marriage, or just filing for divorce. Fucking Red Yoda over here. Always appreciate your insight.

Stop feeling sorry for yourself. It's a complete waste of time and brain power. Own your shit one way or another. You say you "feel" trapped, but it's a cage you choose to be in. Handle your business, but get busy becoming a great man and chasing your goals with vigor. It will take time, but time favors men. I look at emotions in women as sort of a dimensional thing. Physically we live in the 3rd dimension. We understand there is a fourth dimension, but we can't step outside of the 3rd dimension to really experience it. I have much more patience with my wife when she gets emotional than I used to, because I can step outside the dimension of my emotions and see things in the rational dimension. She understands rationality, but she cannot step outside of her emotions to experience it. She relies on me…

If "doing the dishes" is part of "your shit," then I agree that owning your shit can be a reasonable strategy for getting sex. NO. Owning your shit has nothing to do with her, or sexual strategy. Owning your shit is about you and you alone. Sex is an indirect, not guaranteed result of owning your shit.

Chore noise? What? This seems waaaay more complicated than it needs to be. It also revolves around her. If your wife won't fuck you, fix yourself. (lots of good info on how to do that). If she won't fuck you after you fix yourself, go find someone that will. She should be the one trying to get rid of "chores noise" (i hate that phrase) for you. If it's the other way around, then she's better than you (or she thinks she is) and will want to fuck you less after you lower the "chore noise."

A judge is not going to deny access to an active father (i know it does happen, but it's rare). Even if your ex is nuts, if you document properly, and are really being a good dad: Calling/writing them on the weeks they're with your ex, and being the best dad, when they're with you, she won't be able to take them. Judges are bias, but not stupid, and a lot of them really do try to do what's best for the kids despite the bias towards women. If the judge knows you're an awesome father, he won't pun…

My dick is dry, my balls are full, and I'm sick of being told how wonderful I am. Sounds frustrating. My kids are my life right now. Here is one of your problems. This sounds noble, but you can't take care of your kids if you can't take care of yourself. You need to be your life. You don't have to be Tarzan in the bed every time. I mean, you can, but you don't have to be. If you're playing the long game, then a month of no Tarzan is fine, especially if you doing well in the other areas. As for the dead fish sex... try working on your foreplay. I've noticed there is a direct correlation of my wife's enthusiasm to my level of foreplay. It's not a hard and fast rule, and maybe it's just my wife, but when there is good foreplay she gets very aggressive.

Sounds like you're trapped and she knows it. She can be as nasty as she is and you'll do nothing. She knows you'll never leave, because of religion and kids, so what incentive does she have to change? If my kids knew they could get away with everything, they would be brats....but my kids aren't brats, because they understand they have consequences and chose to do right, over the bad consequences. Your wife knows there are ZERO consequences and behaves as such. I've been in your shoes....I stayed…

You ain't shit... That is what brought me to TRP. 2 years ago I was looking more and more into men's rights. I agreed with them, but all they did was complain. TRP was mentioned, followed the link, read I wasn't shit and I'm the only one that cares about me...got pissed and started caring (fixing) about myself, and have never looked back. I love those words. They are ego killing and incredibly liberating.

Your kids are so young there isn't much to say other than be a good Dad and fight for them. I hated their mom, but I never, ever talked shit about her to my kids. I had a similar issue last night. For whatever reason my wife was in a foul mood. You know what I did? I found something that needed to be done in another spot in the house. I don't even address that crap anymore. 30min later she was sweet as could be and couldn't keep her hands off of me. My wife knows what's ok and what's not, so does yours. That's why she apologizes. So you're saying there is no value in telling guys their wives can be more than just a liability to be managed? That was how I thought when I first came here. Since discovering RP my wife has morphed into something I didn't even know was possible. The Conan thing was just supposed to be a segue.

That your wife can be more than just a ball and chain, but you can't let your focus be on her not being a ball and chain. She may or may not get there, but she defini…

There are always exceptions to rules. I've turned my wife down at times. She normally doesn't' get upset. Having said that, there are times I wasn't feeling it and did it it anyway, because I knew at that moment she needed it. The effort to have sex wasn't nearly as bad as the pain I would have caused by not. You know your wife. Act accordingly.

Let's try this: I'm a musician. I play music because I love it. It's easy to pick up women when you're a good musician. It's a very nice by product, but I'd still play even if it wasn't, and I certainly wouldn't be upset about it. As opposed to: I learn that musicians get lots of chicks. I start to play for the purpose of picking up chicks. I suck in the beginning, can't pick up chicks and then get pissed. See the difference?

How long have you been on your journey? If it's been years, then I see your point, and maybe you should be looking for an exit strategy. If it's been less than a year, give her time to catch up to the man you've become/are becoming. If you've been worthless for a long time, and she mirrored that, she stuck with you long enough for you to change. Maybe give her the same opportunity. To answer your question: My wife brings me joy. That's her value to me. I invest in what brings me joy.

I don't tell my kid not to touch the stove because I'm seeking validation. I tell him, because I've gone before him and understand the consequences and want to help him avoid those consequences. Yeah, I saw this and laughed. The title is a straw-man. It says I had a spat with my wife and I came here to ask my "bros" what to do. Reality: I avoided a spat by flirting, instead of getting offended, and wasn't asking anyone here for advice.

Fair enough. I'm not advocating extreme documentation (but can see how what I wrote came across that way), but when my Spidey Sense tingles (with all interactions, not just with my wife) I document, and it has proven helpful. This was a small point in the broader scope, so by all mean, chew up the meat and spit out the bones.
/r/MarriedRedPill02/08/16 06:52 PM
1

If she would have started with, "Have you seen my wallet", or something similar I'd agree with you, but the direct, "what did you do..." and the tone said blame. In any case, it was a mild example, and the point was to prep your mind for these kinds of interactions so you can have a mature response.

Don't focus on your wife's eating habits. Focus on your own. If she wants a cake, get her one, but don't eat any yourself. If she asks, tell her why and leave it at that. It may not happen right away, but if you truly start to get in shape and fix your body, your wife will follow. Remember, she is a mirror of you. Also, remember it's a slow change so be patient with yourself and with her.
