OP is dense and oblivious

OP's still young... so nothing wrong with those kind of girls at his age. It's just having to keep everything new and fresh that's challenging, which I thought was a fun experience. Just gotta treat it like a new experience yourself...

Lol sounds like a girl I dated. Sounds like she might not be interested in going to where she's been... Pick a new location for another date of a diff hiking spot, but sell it like there's something intriguing about this other location. If she shoots that down then move on.

No context to go off of... How did you open in text? How did your in-person end? How long have you known her? There's no right answer without context... All I can tell you is "yes," but also, maybe "no."

There's no right answer... If u just got her number, maybe once or twice a week depending on how she reciprocates... If friends for a while then continue at the usual pace... Rly depends on the condition and the girl

By interacting in a normal manner and treating her like a normal person... If you're not catching interest then she might not be the one... "Sound genuinely interested" can literally not be genuine if you actually aren't...

Valid point, but your post is more so for people in relationship already -- whereas this sub is for people still approaching others

This is the most incel post I've seen lol... Changing your personality because of one person is not necessary... but in the specific case of this sub, after a number of rejections, one should do some self-reflection and ask maybe it's not the other person... it's yourself.

This is the worst advice without context... Women wouldn't notice you unless you're flashy or you make the approach...

Yes, ignore me. Just go out and talk to everyone that's busy with their own thing and annoy them. You're totally not starting off the interaction on a negative first impression.

Good job on having the courage to approach... but next time, keep in mind that if they're occupied or seem to be in the middle of a task your chance of getting a positive feedback will not be likely... it's best to approach them when they're not busy or move on... It's one thing to shoot your shot, it's another to shoot your shot at an unlikely target.

I think both of you have good points, but OP is more so referring to a long term relationship and your point is more closely related to pick up or ONS. Don't mind me if I'm wrong, I'm still intermediate at this whole thing...

Ah thanks! We've been chatting almost every day since our date and I feel like its pointless chatting since we're just flirting. Definitely needed your input regarding the whole optionless perspective.

What if escalation happened, and I mean it really escalated (but not to the point of banging but just lots of touching and making out). Who should be the one setting up the second date? I followed up the weekdays after our date and been flirting over text, however, she appears to be dodging a second date or at least appears to be. What's your assessment of the situation at this point? Should I disengage for a bit?

There's a diff between being introverted and being a wimp... I'm introverted and I don't approach people/strangers unless absolutely necessary. However, once I know someone, I begin to get comfortable... It's all about breaking your own personal barrier initially... Then you can retreat back to your own cave.

She might just be testing u, by offending u... Take it with a grain of salt, don't let it affect u. If anything, next time just go with it, and repeat (not literally) her insult with sarcasm and dry humor. Edit: I'm pretty boring myself... But I have boring hobbies like studying philosophy, building computers, researching investment and the market, politics... Etc... As long as u can own ur hobbies and talk about them you're not boring.

No just let her go or do one word replies like "k" or "cool" or just ghost her. She wants an reaction out of you.

I wish this post existed earlier last year when I was dating this really hot girl and she was throwing me all these signs... Altho we were in a relationship, I could've used some of these reminders to sustain it...

I live at home because I travel for work. It doesn't make sense for me to pay rent at a place I don't live at majority of the time. The right girl wouldn't mind and would appreciate that a guy is financially savvy. It'd be a different story if the guy lived in the living room or garage... I've had ONS's in my parent's house, I've done weekend getaways, airbnbs. It's w.e the situation calls for...
