This is amazing. Thank you.

I am playing a sport.

Eh... I don't want to complete not worry about girls. Looking for tips to do well when I do talk to them.

Yeah I'm just goign straight into hypertrophy. Thanks for the advice.

I think I'll just start with a hypertrophy program then. I'm fine with starting with small weights. Any recommendation for a good beginner hypertrophy routine if that's how you started yourself? You also mentioned a potential plateau in the future - is this because I'll be doing more reps then a strength program, even though the weight is less? Wouldn't I also hit a plateau in a strength program like 5x5?

Do you remember what routine you did for full body? Is this full body routine supposed to focus on hypertrophy or purely strength? Someone on this thread said anything that claims to be a hybrid (like 5x5, is kind of bs).
/r/askTRP19/02/17 04:52 PM

So full body --> PPL. Is that what you did too?

I'm interested in purely hypertrophy and aesthetic at the same time (I heard SL 5x5 makes some people look too blocky so i don't really like it already). Is LM, BBB, and GVT a full-body workout? Someone above mentioned that as a beginner, it's best to start with one.

Do you have a lot of experience with lifting? Just wondering where you're coming from with the info and how much success you've had with this. 3 weeks seems awfully short for a routine. Is the upper/lower routine almost the same as the first routine? Anyways, I came across this http://www.bodybuilding.com/content/the-ultimate-beginners-full-body-workout.html for the full body workout but it goes for eight weeks and has requires a lot of machines which my local 'gym' doesn't have (It's tiny). I n…

Eh I don't really agree.

I definitely take my education seriously. The thing is, everything, and I mean EVERYTHING, socially-related in my school (extremely small - 80 students in my grade) is so hinged upon the bullshit drama you are referring to. Snapchat, Instagram, and what have you are key here. I'm actually struggling to adjust at my new school because I see all the things kids here do on social media as just stupid games but at the same time, I'm starting to become an outsider to all this because I don't have fun…

So once you accepted AWALT, you didn't have too much trouble accepting other RP truths?

In the case with Billy Beta, it's more what she's saying that would be a dead giveaway that said girl has no interest in having sex with a dude. I can figure out at least that much, that if a girl is asking you to buy something and you do, you're already unfuckable in her eyes. Are all the things you're saying written somewhere in the sidebar, or from pure experience?

Could you expand on compartmentalizing?

they are being deliberately ambiguous 99% of the time. So even though they don't have a plan of what to do in every social situation, they purposefully play games, whatever it may be?

Is your school in VA?
/r/askTRP11/02/17 03:28 PM

Well I 'care' because I wanna know what goes behind what women, specifically girls my age, think like and if they play all these dumb games. It's more for me to avoid wasting my time in the future. Not really even looking to date in high school really.

How exactly do you act valuable though? I've been focused with not being as big a loser as I was in past years so this I can't do yet. I've given off the impression that I'm not too outgoing in my first 4 weeks here and honestly, I don't think that I change that first impression people had of me.
/r/askTRP09/02/17 05:13 PM

I don't really agree with high schoolers not knowing about value and all. There's a reason why guys who play sports and are captains do well. And social media plays a big role in my school but I don't have any real presence on that.

Lift and have frame. Do shit you want. Fuck other people's opinions. Got it.
/r/askTRP23/01/17 04:17 PM

I'm not really stressing anymore. Your situation was what I thought it would be for me, since I'm not in ONLY a capella - I'm lifting and on the soccer team.
/r/askTRP23/01/17 03:59 PM
1

There isn't really a person that doesn't care what others think. I'm not ashamed in saying that I think of other people's judgment but I don't really let it affect me which is why I'm auditioning in the first place. What I'm saying is, will other girls seeing me singing a capella turn them off from me because it seems inherently feminine? But on the flip side, I think lifting and being on the soccer team, a more 'masculine' activity, would help me because I have shown that I can do these things,…

Think singing in front of crowds will help with my anxiety. Solid advice, thanks.
/r/askTRP23/01/17 03:54 PM

I'm definitely not gay haha. Like I said, it's just me trying something new but if I happen to like it, then yeah I'll continue with it. I'm not really doing this to hook up either, it's just pure interest in singing. If my game improves (I need to read up on that, I've been focusing on other things) then I'll try but it really is just about trying something new.
/r/askTRP23/01/17 03:53 PM
1

Yeah, I'm not trying to 'friend' my way into their pants. That's just stupid. If I improve my game, maybe I'll approach them but it's just more about me trying something new. Like I said in my post, this is the first time I'm singing so yeah. If this was something I truly loved, of course I'd say fuck what others think and just do it. Thanks for the advice.
/r/askTRP23/01/17 03:51 PM
1

But if you saw a guy in an a capella group, you would also have similar judgements that I kinda make right now?
/r/askTRP23/01/17 02:23 PM
1

That would definitely be ideal. It's about finding middle ground but I don't know how to get there.
/r/askTRP21/01/17 04:57 PM

I tend to be serious and it shows, especially in conversations. Am I wrong in thinking that RP advises against being the funny guy and rather the serious one? I see so many masculine political figures and mma fighters that are usually serious so that's my perception of what a 'man' is. But in high school, people just want someone that's funny. Do I have to find a balance in between?

ew
/r/askTRP21/01/17 02:30 PM

Thanks man I needed to hear that. I'll talk to the first guy I see tomorrow and not be too worried about how the conversation goes.
/r/askTRP17/01/17 06:20 PM
2

So... I should just approach people and not be scared.
/r/askTRP17/01/17 05:26 PM
1

But I should still make the effort to introduce myself and start converstaions, no?
/r/askTRP17/01/17 04:11 PM
1

That was an actual mindfuck like you said. I completely understand what Tyler's saying but it feels like a higher form of frame if you know what I mean. Like Tyler is already extremely content with who he is so he doesn't have to be defensive or competitive, most of the times. But I'm still learning this whole Red Pill thing and finding out what exactly my frame is and what I want so I think it's natural that I'm defensive right now. So in my case I gotta stop thinking about it as a competition …
/r/askTRP13/01/17 07:43 AM
1

So when it comes to people like him, me being in their frame is inevitable? Their frame of being loud, carefree and all.

Thoughts on this? https://www.reddit.com/r/asktrp/comments/3hg6ej/talking_to_girls_like_dudes/cu71ykl/ Especially about the part about eye contact.
/r/askTRP11/01/17 03:57 AM
1

Do you ever find yourself with a person that just keeps on staring back so because you can't break eye contact, it just becomes too awkward? Also on the point of eye contact, this https://www.reddit.com/r/asktrp/comments/3hg6ej/talking_to_girls_like_dudes/cu71ykl/ says something along the lines of not necessarily staring at a girl too long. I'm kind of confused but it makes sense for someone that has high SMV. If someone with a low SMV just keeps staring at a girl, it just seems weird and creepy…
/r/askTRP10/01/17 06:26 PM
1

What about with friends? I feel like prolonged eye contact with them would be a bit awkward.
/r/askTRP10/01/17 03:00 PM
1

Ah I see I thought you meant literally pushing people. Yeah I'm going to test out eye contact with strangers and not looking away and kinda fake it til i make it.
/r/askTRP10/01/17 02:45 PM
1

I see. Could you clarify your second part?
/r/askTRP10/01/17 02:37 PM
2

Yeah, of course. That's why I said I know I shouldn't stare at girls or anyone relentlessly. With guys and girls I'm not interested in high school, should I stare at them for like 5 seconds or something and look away. Eye contact and all is so foreign to me because I always avoided it so some of these questions may sound absurd.
/r/askTRP10/01/17 02:22 PM
1

With girls you're interested it in, shouldn't the eye contact be slightly more intense and longer?
/r/askTRP10/01/17 02:18 PM
1

Yeah but it shouldn't be too short and intermittent. Do you maintain longer eye contact longer with certain groups of people?
/r/askTRP10/01/17 02:06 PM
1

Thanks man, this is eye opening.
/r/askTRP10/01/17 10:11 AM

Hell yeah man, I don't want to use the 'new guy' complaint as a crutch and not try to be friends with everyone in the grade. There are only 90 kids after all so I'll eventually see them all.. maybe. So first period, just dgaf, stop worrying, introduce myself and try to make small connections? I heard one guy from here say that people are actually pretty thrilled when new people strike up a conversation with them. Is this what you meant by people being nicer than I think?
/r/askTRP10/01/17 10:00 AM

Wow, I honestly never saw that take place irl but maybe that's because I go to international schools outside of the America. I guess American schools are more fucked up in that sense. So I plan on going to the gym and joining clubs (fitness or sports, and one 'social' one), hopefully make some friends there. But clubs don't start until slightly after so I'm looking to make friends in the first class I walk into. Am I being irrational for thinking people would be weirded out by being approached b…

Thanks for the advice. Not sure if you read my other comments but I'm moving to a new high school abroad and I have this huge problem approaching and talking to people. I'll get crazy anxious and admittedly insecure. IK it's about being happy with who you are and not overthinking every little interaction but seeing as I'm the new kid, I just feel lost. I feel guilty whenever I start conversations with people and hypothetically, ask those people if I can hang out with them after class, during lun…

I see what you're saying but I don't think this school is strictly like that. I know how cliquey high school can get and no doubt this is too, but it's not as bad as you make it out to be. It seems a bit weird though how I'd be 'placed' where the 'alpha' decides. This has to be sarcasm, no? I'm more worried about just lifting, getting good grades, getting into a social group, none of this alpha of the school bs. Being a part of the social group starts with talking to people and approaching them …
/r/askTRP10/01/17 09:20 AM

I actually moved and am going to a new high school and am worried as fuck. Small school outside the US (90 students/grade) but it's probably very similar to your average American high school. I'm worried because I'm really scared of approaching people. I've done this to strangers but they're just not very good interactions. I plan on just approaching people and talking to them on the first day but feel almost guilty for being confident because it's so new to me.
/r/askTRP10/01/17 09:10 AM
1

Yeah I'm hesitant about throwing the word alpha around which is why i put it around apostrophes. I think my insecurity comes from the lack of faith in my general charisma during conversations. I'm just not very good at carrying out conversations and constantly worry about saying the right things, being too funny but not being a clown.
/r/askTRP10/01/17 08:59 AM

How do you think I should improve my interactions with people and girls in general? I learned from RP that I shouldn't be too emotional around girls (shit tests) and just be fun in general. I think I can do ok in terms of shit tests and roll with it, but have no idea how to be fun and outgoing.
/r/askTRP05/01/17 11:52 AM
You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
