I think sleeping with assurance that your both proven to be on the same page is safe.. Doesn’t necessarily need to be marriage but some sort of commitment should be clarified :)

Thanks for replying. I’ll remain vigilant during this process! The fake emergency situation was awkward because another friend of mine, who knows the girl, was in the car too. She found it weird and said that maybe he likes me instead? I remember getting mad at him and told him that he should speak to her directly and stop using me as a middle man for everything, then he apologized. He did ask what type of emergency and I told him last minute meeting (at 10pm on a Friday lol). Then told her abou…

You're right thank you so much for the insight! I know people from all walks of life but his texting patterns are so odd. I told my friend that if he has time to scroll on Instagram and message me about the photo during midday, he surely has some free time to text during that time instead of 12am-3am. I suspected that he was married but from his IG and my little research on public records, he's single. It just seems like he wasn't taking me seriously so unmatched, unfollowed, a nd removed him as…

Yeah I don’t know how to end it respectfully.. I assume that just unmatching him and removing him off my socials would be fine but do I need to announce that? I don’t feel like it because we aren’t close and it’s nothing serious but is that still disrespectful of me?

Thanks for sharing the insight! And yes i know a lot of busy people and I myself have been the busiest I’ve been for the past month.. I still manage to take a few minutes of my day to check up on people. What truly threw me off is that he texted me in the middle of the day about photos I posted of myself, on Instagram. If he’s able to scroll through Instagram, probably during his break, I don’t know what stops him from sending his 11pm-2am texts at that time instead. All I know is that scrolling…

They’ve all expressed interest in meeting me first but one went on vacation the week he wanted to see me and for the other that’s kind of my fault. I live 4 hours away and don’t get as many jobs in that city right now so I didn’t feel like going just to see him. And yes I prefer speaking to the guy online for a couple weeks like you said to kind of discern their motives. Then move on to meeting then irl. One of my most stable relationships so far started by getting to know each other online for …

It’s not that I want to share it, I just don’t want to hide it. 80% of my followers are women so I cater to the female gaze anyway. The private one is more like a dairy. I have so many friends but only have 20 followers on there which consists of childhood friends and siblings. I wouldn’t go around revealing my whole life to a stranger so that’s why I don’t add anyone, including potential dates on there. And it’s great that you didn’t involve yourself in your exes modeling work. But at least you…

Lol I’m from a political family full of phds. I’m currently in university for business and law (dual major). Modeling is something that I always loved and happen to be good enough at it to get paid. I’d say that I’m the first person in my family to be doing this, everyone is in the political/medical category. I engaged with men who were in the creative industry because that was foreign to me. It felt new and we had similar lifestyles. Yes it definitely shows more skin, like you’d see in the maga…

Great, I’m glad that hinge was my first choice. Funny enough, I got the little subscription a month ago and placed the filters you mentioned and narrowed down the ages to 35-40. Thankful to run across people like early on, because sometimes you don’t realize what’s obviously in front of you. Now that I think about it, my ex’s ex left him for a doctor shortly before he dated me. They were never married and the doctor married her until this day.

Thanks for this. Yeah the entertainment industry is full of lust. That’s where I work in so that’s why I keep on meeting those men. My family has nothing to do with entertainment, we come from politics. Which is similar to the entertainment industry when it comes to the social circles, just more quiet. I figured out the age thing, but also had trouble with a 33 and 35 year old when I was 19 and 20. But they fell under the entertainment and entrepreneur category so I see why that went downhill. I…

Okay I see. In that case, it’s still a mixture. I’ve spoken to 15-20 guys (interacted with them for at least 3 months to a year). in the past four years, but slept with 4 of them only..I’m genuinely not comfortable with sleeping with someone early on and only do so if I feel like we’ll be in a Ltr. A few of them are in the entertainment industry, some just come from very wealthy families, and others are entrepreneurs. Thank you so mich for this. I’ll try to study the signs more. But even guys who are serious end up ghosting me (on their defense, maybe because I moved). How long should nun mode be? This has been going on for as long as i can remember, perhaps 4 years. I’m not in a rush to speak to anyone right now, and began to ignore guys who approach me irl and online. I went into nun mode Throughout the whole of 2018, and between summer 2020 and summer 2021. I agree that I am in a lot of pain because I was …

I see what you’re saying. I was prioritizing the man mentioned in the last post but I started speaking to someone else when I realized that we were not in a relationship yet. He would do weird things such as call me to go hiking, then not follow up. I even texted him and he ignored it. So I accepted the other guy’s invite to an event. I come front a culture where you’re either single or married, so I started talking to men again because I didn’t understand that we were exclusive. Within that same week, he explained his idea of dating before marriage. I cut the contact with the men out of respect for him, and I’m not attracted to them as much as I am to him. He knows where I live, but I temporarily moved to another place in the same city last month. That’s why he double checked wether I was back in the original place or not. M…

I told him in the beginning that I don’t believe in bf/gf in the long term, you’re either single or married. That was a little bit cold of me but he agreed. He told me that he’d never exceed a year without initiating marriage. I spoke to 3 other guys (2 back home, one here) because I thought that him and I weren’t going anywhere. I don’t speak to them anymore. I’m very much attracted to him in all aspects. I made the mistake to let him carry all the communications, as you said, because I was bra…

I know it sounds like excuses but I realized the texting problem yesterday. It’s been going on for the entirety of last week. Was wondering why most of my friends weren’t texting me back and were saying that I don’t reply to their texts. A friend of mine thought that I was upset with her, vice versa, because of this. That’s why I decided to call him today because it would’ve sucked if he probably got not response to what he said. The family issue is very real. They started going to court 3 weeks…

I didn’t do it out of ill intent, it was just imposter syndrome. When someone is busy, I’m scared that im going to interrupt something. So I’d rather wait for them to come forward. I won’t do it anymore

Do you think there is a way to rectify this? The whole thing doesn’t make sense to me though. Why would he ask me where I am and announce his arrival if he was completely done with me. He approached me in his usual tone

I totally get what you mean and I’ve been trying to change. That’s why I texted him first before, but didn’t tell him that I wanted to see him. I made the mistake to wait for him to bring it up. Now I clearly told him and he’s acting like this. My friends are telling me that maybe he’s so fed up because he probably never got my text, which might have been sent by the number he doesn’t know. From his perspective, he might’ve wondered why I didn’t reply to his flight details. But I did call him to…

Sorry I didn’t include it. Well his family is going through a lot, according to the media, so that could be a thing. The drama has been going on for almost a year and he voiced it to me last time I saw him. Also noticed that he seems to be having nightmares in his sleep (fighting off something), but he acts completely normal when he’s awake. We met in summer and started communicating consistently in September. I slept with him in February.. Well I don’t know about his exact finances. He told me his job without me asking him, and said that he makes a lot. Has a room mate in the city, which is understandable for his age. I did tell him about my plans and what I’m currently doing for myself, apart from modeling (dipped my toe in real estate, entertainment management..) with concrete evidence for that. I completely understand where you’re coming from. Sex work in the industry is a reality that can’t be overlooked. I spend less than I’ve made in the past 4 years.. my travels with my dad are typically family vacations or work related (I’ve done a plethora of internships for reputable companies overseas). I was overly focused of academics in primary and high school, with no other passion, which is why my parents encouraged me to travel this much. I agree that a degree can be inutile if your have …

I would expect that speculation from someone who doesn’t know me at all. We met at private school which was a 20k-30k tuition. I was one of the students who was known for the cars that picked me up and my vacations. I usually don’t reveal my entire background, but this is to offer context on what he knows about me. It would be weird to assume that I’m a prostitute in his position.

I’m worried that he’s being invasive, and why he’s being invasive in the first place. The society I grew up in deems it rude to ask about occupation/finances in the early stages. He did say that he has model friends, so the industry isn’t too foreign to him. I was also thrown off when he boasted about my friend’s milestone in modeling, yet he complains about it to me.

Sigh I voiced my concern and told him that I see marriage as a full time job. Taking care of your husband, the house, thé chores etc. He did get a little sample of my home making skills (sleepovers) and he didn’t hesitate to boast about it. But I told him that I can’t mix that with school and work. Thankfully my parents fully paid for my school. He told me that he’s not ready to get married, that I’m young and he doesn’t distract me. I get what you’re trying to say. He’s the one who brought up marriage, and that was during our first meeting. He said that he’s not ready to get married because he feels like he hasn’t reached his full potential career wise (he earns higher than the average man, but to each their own). I remember that he did state that he’s seeking a partner that has home making skills and a healthy lifestyle, with values that align. He said that in the context of marriage, I don’t know if his intention in terms…
/r/RedPillWomen03/02/22 12:13 AM

That makes a bit of sense, thank you. I could say that my intention would be to be with a like minded man (education, values) who allows me to grow and we can share meaningful experiences together. As we grow closer I can identify the end goal. I don’t know if that sounds too superficial
/r/RedPillWomen02/02/22 10:55 PM
2

I think he asked me what’s my intention with dating in general, but what you said helped me a little bit. My intention is to complete my studies and to make meaningful connections. Anyone that would be a distraction, or would get me in trouble is not welcome. It’s easy to say what I don’t want, but I can’t think of what makes me decide to pursue a guy. Would similar goals, education, and family background be a reasonable reason?

It depends on the guy..all dates for me (even if it’s the same guy). My ex would pay for everything from a simple lunch to something more complex like flights and hotel bookings for vacations. He never let me or asked me to pay anything and made sure that he paid for my ride if he couldn’t drop me home. Things got very stressful during COVID and I self sabotaged tho :(

There’s no such thing as being behind. Everyone has their own journey.. life isn’t linear. Things don’t happen in a certain order. What you must focus on is expanding your knowledge in all aspects, and self evaluating. The goal is to attain the best version of yourself, not copy someone else’s trajectory.

I see what you mean, it’s all about the tone and context. It’s a playful “I like you” not imposing something deep and personal haha. Yeah, that plethora of rules just give me a rigid personality. Doesn’t do me any justice. No wonder why guys I don’t like end up liking me sometimes, because I don’t overthink anything with them.

Thanks for the advice! This made me tap back into 16 year old me who would always say “go with the flow”. No agenda behind. I’m good at directing the attention to him, but my stomach does gymnastics when I feel like they want to kiss me. That doesn’t mean that I don’t like them, but it’s a fear of looking “easy” or desperate. Scared to get attached too. A guy I used to speak to last year stopped talking to me because of this. I kind of brainwashed myself with femininity “gurus” on YouTube for the past year. So this is what I tend to do, which became a habit: never initiating conversations limited words in my responses not flirting in person cancelling dates not reciprocating nicknames, saying I miss you back etc no kissing taking hours or days to respond (I don’t do it on purpose, been busy since summer and I have social anxiety when it comes to phones) so I only text people I’m comfortable with.. Exactly, education isn’t the problem that causes hvm to feel demasculinized. I have healthy friendships with men who I went to school with, and who now own lucrative business and are part of an affluent society. They’re going to realize that they’re ALWAYS the one texting first..so it would make sense that they’d feel rejected, unappreciated. Same thing for my last relationship! I never mentioned that looks translate to worthiness or respect. That’s extremely shallow. Your values, education (that’s just the hard truth - I’m educated and pursuing a masters), and reputation play a huge role in someone respecting you. That’s true, can’t argue with that. The only thing I like about Instagram dates is that I can google these people, and run a little “background check” to some extent. You’re right.. most agencies advice us to not reveal too much our personalities online, to create a “mysterious” appeal for the audience.
