As a “bad man” I can confirm. I think this depends on the girl and your look and personality tho too.

Do those same things, but for you and your kids if you have them. I’m sorry you’re going through this, and I can relate. I’m about 3 weeks in, we just told our son tonight. I’m told it will get better, I sure hope so. The only things I have left are my son and myself, so I will focus on that because what else can I do? I’ve been through some shit in my life, things you probably wouldn’t believe, but this is harder. I feel your pain man.

Similar sorry man, very similar. Including the anxiety, depression and adhd. I understand what you’re going through. Mix in severe childhood trauma too. I have nothing to offer except sympathy. Take care of yourself and focus on fixing the issues for yourself. Your interactions with the world will improve and you can be a real partner to you next girl.

Can I ask, if a similar situation, why you detest her? I feel like that at times throughout the day in waves, but I don’t understand why. It almost feels like a coping mechanism.

Yes, I agree she definitely did. I was the initiator tho, I’m aware of that. I’m sure I’ll cheer up eventually.

I wonder this too. When is the right time?

I’m in a similar boat, different, but similar. I don’t have any advice because I am in the midst of it looking for advice myself, but I feel for you and understand your pain.

Same boat my friend. I’m sorry for what you are going through and feel for you.

Thank you, I know what you say is true, but I don’t feel it. Hopefully in time I will.

Thank you, as hard as it is I feel you are right. And I know for a fact she is going through a lot as well, I can see it.

Yes, of course she was. But I feel it’s warranted, no? I too was/am emotionally closed off to the world. I’m trying to change that. At times I am not like that and my life is 1000% better. I’d love to hear more thoughts on the matter.

Thank you. And you’re absolutely right, I did wait too long. I do have time before the actual divorce, but separation is imminent. She is still open and loves me and shows it in her communication, but she is at her end or past it. It kills me.

Appreciate the kind words and advice. I feel what you are saying and agree. Just the most hard crazy thing that’s ever happened to me, and that’s saying a lot.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
