I've been through a pretty rough depression phase and come out feeling more accepting of things. Here's my outlook now, as I was in the same boat as you, even being married at 19 and divorced at 20: Continuing with matrix analogies, "you're telling me I can dodge bullets", "I'm telling you that when the time comes, you won't have to" Trp is about equipping you with the vision to see reality for what it is, which empowers you to make your own choices and not be duped from false advertising. You m…

That'd be cool, except tinder uses range of area to determine potential matches. I live near a touristy town so every weekend I can have a flock of new tinderellas rolling in. But then one could argue that it could simply show women the men nearby and she could like or dislike him. Oh well. It is what it is.

If I don't have sex for 2 weeks I'll rub one out. I find diminishing returns on my mental state after that point. That's really the only difference. But if I'm regularly having sex I try to only get off with sex. More motivation to actually have sex and make it awesome.

I've flatlined on nofap before. After having done nofap on and off, I've settled on noporn the last 3 months in combination with meditation. I'm actually doing better than ever this way, my game is stronger, my sex drive is higher, I do have the issue of PE too, but the more I have sex the more it's getting better. I think it's a fine trade off cause I just go for round two. Or have her suck you off first, then eat her out while you recover.

Hue hue comes from Brazil/Portuguese gamers. They are often completely unaware of social standards and do/say something stupid in the middle of a game then add "HUEHUEHUE" and everybody hates them.

A third strategy I use that requires skill, more balls, but higher reward: start dancing big. Slowly build up to get people to move out of your way and form a circle around you. Usually if you start doing things like pindrops or two step, people will gather around and start to worship you. If everyone is around you cheering, just take your choice of girl and dance. Of course, give them a bit of a show, make yourself the center of attention, then convert.

Most do. And even when they don't, I always get a bit of a laugh the way they reject me. Some are shocked and grossed out. I laugh it off, she's clearly not a fun person.

Right. Not necessary at all to dance to pull. It's just another tool. Frankly, I love dancing even without chicks, so that's why dancing works for me. I'm the guy at the bar that if there's good dance music, I just always gave a little groove going on when talking to people. It's easy for me to set the frame that I'm always dancing so it's not like I'm just dancing to pull.

My dance game is on point. If you're not a dancer either in skill or desire, don't try to be. If you have the desire but no skill, work on it. 1 point on the floor - dance as if nobody is watching. Have fun. Be happy. If you have that down, you can usually draw some attention. If a girl makes eye contact with you, shows interest, don't hesitate, keep dancing but move closer to her. You will often find girls you didn't even notice coming to you if your dance skills are good, but don't be afraid t…

I don't think it's too soon. Before our second time together I was mentioning tying her up via text and she was into it. Then logistically I didn't get anything to tie her up and when I messaged her again she said "You said you were gonna tie me up :(" I think she's pretty into it. But you sound right when you say it's probably too much too soon and it's exciting her too much.

I was going to. I didn't end up tying her up yet. I was just gonna get a soft nylon rope from Wal-Mart. Hands behind the back. Maybe around the ankles too. Use a tie as a blindfold. If you have a bed frame with posts you can tie get limbs to that too.

Career is a big one. Most men will pursue career with intense drive because the result is money and money is power. Power frees up options in life. However one can't be consumed by work alone. I personally focus on things this way: One main thing (career, but that won't be for a lifetime, just the main way you make money right now, always trying to maximize its potential). For me right now, that's growing cannabis, even though I have a degree in music education. One side thing (extra money but t…

"Happiness" as a pursuit in life is misguided. Happiness is an emotion, emotions are fleeting. Everything moves in cycles, if you're extra happy, you'll eventually feel extra sadness. Such is life. A man doesn't pursue happiness as his goal. A man pursues accomplishment of his passion. Decide what you want to accomplish and do it. Accept all the joy and pain (emotion) that goes alongside it (action). Too many people try to spend their life avoiding pain and seeking pleasure. Wake the fuck up. Li…

Chickens and cows are ingested with female hormones to grow larger breasts, mature sooner, and produce more milk. The same hormones are passed to us when we consume the meat. Source? You make a huge jump from dairy cows, to chickens, to consuming meat.

Our world is filled with so many things constantly battling for your attention. Your phone, other people, Facebook, reddit, etc. When you stay mindful and in the moment, your day shifts from being a helter skelter mass of thoughts, rush, and mania into a calm, enjoyable, and fulfilling experience. Everything becomes an experience of life. You can only do this with practice. I aim for 30 minutes a day at this point. I have a morning routine (I'm a farmer so not exactly on a 9-5) wherein I get up, have coffee, maybe breakfast, then go meditate before work. I started simply by dedicating a meditation space and 2-5 minutes each day. I've been doing it for 2 months solid now. I'd like to add a nighttime meditation before bed as well. I'd say by the point I hit 20 minutes I really started to notice a difference. You can also do 2x20 per day. Read this book to really lear…

Agreed. I had a bout of depression this winter. My lifting dropped from 3-5x/week to 1-2x per week, to nothing. I tried as hard as I could to get into it but couldn't figure out why I felt so much worse doing it. Going to the gym actually made me feel worse about myself. I learned it was a lack of mindfulness, seeking distraction from reality. As soon as I started meditating I started to wake back up and accept the pain and discomfort of life appropriately again. Meditation is now as important a…

I read the article and have to point out the standard TRP principle of observing what she does or responds to, not what she says. Women often SAY they don't like a bulky/bodybuilder type, but many men find as they get larger and larger, women have a harder tine resisting their body, like zyzz. So in a survey that causes them to use their conscious mind,, they'll say they like the lean dude. FRs seem to indicate that getting that GLO body is really preferred though.

There are other places in the Old Testament where God, without explanation, seems to prefer the animal farmer to the plant farmer. He favors and blesses the shepherd while ignoring the grower. When reading the OT in the Hebrew language, this is picked up on more than in English. This is not my own commentary, but one from a PhD in theology. Take it for what you will.

I read a phrase recently: Modern sex is little more than mutual mental masturbation. He was referring to how people today are basically having sex to stroke their own ego rather than to make a connection. I think it was from that "protosexual" article floating around Facebook right now. Great observation on your part and I agree. I notice that attitude around here a bit and even in myself.

But if you must, you should only consider girls young enough to have not even dated. Practically impossible in western society. You'd have to get them from early puberty, 12-14 years old. It works, but you're going to be labeled a pedophile at best or actually go to prison at worst. Edit: yeah no shit guys, I'm saying hypothetically in context of what the guy above me said. Wow. An upvote doesn't do this brilliant comment justice. The irony of it all is spectacular. The liberals felt guilty over something they didn't do and wanted to "set it right", and by doing so, actually fulfilled the damage that didn't happen in the first place, but felt guilty over. It's almost like feeling guilty for setting a house on fire when you didn't set it on fire, but you make yourself feel so guilty, your actions inadvertently set it on fire.

It just goes to show that people aren't creative enough to modify their post around a little summary at the start and a repeating of the lesson at the end. Seriously, if you can't name some big points that you're trying to make before and after your post, then your post is not clear enough. I think it's simply that our criteria for our scientific method hasn't quite refined itself well enough for social dynamics. It's difficult to keep someone consistent in a lab setting. In dieting, for example, merely the act of telling someone that they are part of a study causes them to change their eating habits. Imagine how much worse it would be knowing that someone is judging your social life.

And then some dumbass says "oh that's old testament. Jesus forgives all and says 'let he who is without sin cast the first stone'" To which I'd say, sure we aren't going to stone cheating whores anymore. You can forgive them. But you don't have to be with them or marry them. In that day, a woman not getting married for being a whore was just as bad of a punishment as stoning her. Imo it's worse because she then becomes a plague on society, but that's another issue.

Absolutely correct. Why do extra work for the same pay? He found a great shortcut to gaining status. He shows how fickle status truly is. If it can be built that quickly, it can be destroyed quickly. If women can have fake boobs and we perceive it as pleasurable, why can't we fake fame and let her live out her fantasy? Perception is reality. This isn't an immoral move. Agreed. It is weak to use a heat unit for dealing with food. You should look up Bill Lagakos. I have been overweight before, but am in the best shape ever on keto, even though I am eating MORE CALORIES than I ever ate before, to me this disproves the calorie in/out theory instantly That doesn't disprove CICO. It just means it needs refining. CICO isn't good as an exact number as the media tries to make it sound. It's more of a +-200 calories "starting point". The thing is that while intake is easy to know, the calories out part of the equation fluctuates. Keto and other higher protein di…

It's not GNG that causes fat gain. If anything, it's glyceroneogenesis, the creation of glycerol, which binds fatty acids into triglycerides. In ketosis, glycerol from triglycerides is the main substrate for gluconeogenesis. However it has never been shown in a study that too much protein causes fat gain or inhibits fat loss, as long as calories are kept equal. In fact, mostly the opposite happens, lean mass increases and fat mass decreases with a higher protein diet, which is why any study wort…

I've had LASIK for 3 years now. I got it right out of college as a graduation gift from my family. It cost about $3k. I don't think a week has gone by that I haven't woke up happy that my eyes don't hurt from contacts (even without sleeping in them and proper cleaning). That I can wake up right off the bat and see the world in detail. If you truly want to know what gratitude should feel like, get LASIK. I have fantastic vision now and I love it. Worth every penny.

Absolutely. I grew up in a 95% Mexican town as a white dude. Mexican culture was awesome. Not so much with this generation, as they have all become entitled with all the affirmative action shit handing them everything, that's destroying the culture. But the older generation is massively respectful, hard working, caring, giving, family oriented, fat shaming, laziness shaming, and plenty of other valuable traits to have at the center of your principles as a society.

Interesting thoughts for sure. As a college educated musician part of what determines the "happy" or "dark" sound is the dissonance or consonance of harmony, which can be further defined by the overtone series. If you understand the overtone series, you see for any given note, there are "invisible" notes produced above it. These notes always fall into the same distances from each other, but some can be omitted. Violin, flute, and the voice are examples of sounds that contain all overtones. The s…

How did capitalism back feminism? All feminist moves have been to benefit the minorities. All capitalist moves are decidedly not "for the masses", rather for who can compete at a higher level. I'm struggling to see where the two connect.

Is it based on the assumption that I'm already taking 20-45 minutes breaks during the day, so filling those with sleep and reducing the overnight portion by the same amount "saves" me time during the day? Yes. 3x20 min naps plus 3 hours at night is only 4 hours of sleep every 24 hours, as an example.

I don't remember extra itchy skin. Just my sleep pattern was all over the place, struggling for energy, endorphins all over the place (dopamine and serotonin in particular). Looking back now knowing how high (homo)cystine levels feel, (gelatin supplementation corrects high cys for those of you that are unaware), my body was definitely in that state. Just poor recovery in general. Sleep is crucial to awesomeness.

When you start, it kind of becomes addictive because you'd be amazed at what 3-4 hours extra each day adds up to over the course of 3 months. In my most sleep deprived cycle, in one month I worked 12-16 hours daily, read 2 books, hung out with friends almost nightly, and probably other things I don't remember. Which obviously is the problem. Sure, you're "living" more. But if you don't remember it or the product doesn't last, what do you have to prove that it really happened?

Melatonin was a very useful part of it. I had to go low carb, that was a huge benefit. Also cold showers an hour before bed. Also blocking blue light super early (at ~6 pm to be tired by 10). Great response. I think most guys would rather fuck a girl with a hot body and mediocre (possibly even slightly ugly) face than fuck a fatty who would have a nice face if she was thinner. I know a few girls who are fat and are 4-5s, but if they got lean they would seriously be 8-9, not exaggerating. Model quality faces. But I will not touch them. It's repulsive to grab that flab. I've experienced this knowledge in my meditation recently and it almost scares me. It makes me feel like we are actually 4th or 5th dimensional beings that created a simulation for ourselves. Or if not greater beings, just simply that we are in a simulation. My consciousness is the only thing that's real and "my" thoughts, body, vision, senses, etc are all just a computer giving the real me sensory input and I think it's reality. A dose of nihilism can be entirely useful for those taking the pill. I don't think it is a long term sustainable lifestyle because you're right, if you truly live by everything nihilism teaches then you'll have nothing other than a desire to destroy to remove any value that does exist. However it is entirely possible to use a reasonable amount of nihilist teachings to improve your life. for 80% of men out there, being male means no preferential treatment! It's definitely 100%. Even the greats have to either maintain or grow their status. The alpha has earned his spot and if he didn't, he won't be there long. Nobody cares about any man except for what he can do for someone else.

I think biologists universally consider the ability to plan ahead a significant marker of intelligence. However, these are expressed differently in men than in women, in my observation. Men plan ahead by manipulating their environment. As it is said, we evolved to manipulate the environment. A smarter man can more easily manipulate his environment or understand it better and plan many steps ahead to benefit his life. In the same way, I observe that a woman's intelligence may make her better at m…

I believe it's always been this way, but historically society has tamped it down This part, definitely. Or rather it's been the k-selected, conservative alphas keeping it down. It was called marriage. (or those women have been gently encouraged by society to avoid being remaining childless into their 30s, so they had better things to do than to constantly shit on men and boys.) Ever hear of Jane Austin? She was the first Stephanie Meyer.

No. The only thing they don't want is boys learning how to make man jokes, in other words, saying mean things to each other that they don't really mean. But math itself is limited just like the rest. The education is never brought to "real world application". Education throughout history was not separated into distinct subjects as definitively as it is today. History, math, philosophy, music, and everything else can all be touched on when using a Socratic method. If we sat down students and said, "here's the problem, find a solution", that would be the beginning of solving real world problems. But instead we teach children that "this is the prob…

I'm not necessarily talking about controversial topics only. I'm speaking more about practicality of the education and the general focus and atmosphere. The system itself is not emphasizing practical lessons. A teacher now has to spend time preparing a certain amount of work that is expected to be homework. Kids are not allowed to do this work in class, even if they have completed the classwork. They are expected to sit there, or read a book, or some other mundane activity that keeps them under …

From a male perspective, we are not competing with women because that would be like competing with children. There is no competition because they often aren't even close to our level of mastery in anything measurable (without handicap). Women see themselves competing with men as a fantasy, just like how children believe that when they are out slaying dragons, they really want to be out slaying dragons. However they are not capable of competing the task. I don't necessarily disagree, but I think …

Teacher here. This is the direction education has been going since the 70s (at least openly since the 70s) and it's because of how heavily female biased education is. The 70s is when women really started entering the work place in full force and really skewed the worldview that was taught. It's eventually evolved into avoiding everything masculine. The authorities in education failed the big shit test from every female teacher involved, or the females just because the principals and did what the…

Dude, thanks so much for that article on how schools fail. I'm an educator and found it very enlightening, everything was put in a clear and succinct manner, yet still thorough. It's something I've been trying to express to students more but didn't know how to put it clearly. Granted I'm a band teacher so obedience and order are important, but the skill advancement is more important than raw obedience to me.

Get your diet straight. That'll help a lot. Take magnesium, 5htp, and glycine/gelatin in the evening for sleep quality and anxiety reduction. Cut out blue light after sundown. Retrain your response to anxiety to be lifting/exercise instead of something pleasurable like porn. Or if you don't want to exercise it needs to be something that you're investing time like meditation or music practice, not spending time like tv or reddit. You win in the small battles man. Walk away. Exactly. The first thing martial arts often teaches is what to do when you're asked/pushed to fight outside the gym: walk away. Even black belts won't start fights. Why? You don't know what his skill level is or if he's got a weapon. So walk away the second you see aggression. Maintaining frame of alpha is not more important than getting out alive. Most scenarios obviously wouldn't come to this but it only takes one. Even if you think you can take him, don't.

Pre-selection, money, looks, status, friends, etc. Only add to one thing: game. For banging chicks, game is all that matters, everything else just helps to make up for a lack of game. If you lack the others, it is possible to have enough game to compensate, though if you lack game, you need far more of the rest to make up for it. If it matters, the main attribute of BPD is a fear of abandonment, which is why she expected more intimacy instead of just a rough fuck. Basically BPD chicks have hamster on overdrive 24/7 and if life doesn't go exactly how they expected the other person to act, they think that person is abandoning them and respond with hatred. I believe he's referencing the following of yoga as a trend rather than actually about improvement and meditative benefits. You know, the girls that put on makeup and yoga pants and don't really try that hard. Also, the mindset of "chakra energy" and "oneness" of those girls and the way they portray their spirituality. Plenty of women have realized that masking their true nature and acting like a unicorn while establishing an LTR can result in a far greater payoff than simply powerplaying right from the beginning BPD girls are notorious for this. Why? Failure is success pushed one step further. Think of lifting, when you fail at the 7th rep, you completed 6. That means you have an understanding of your limits and you can tangibly see your limits when you fail. Failing only has negative connotations if you don't change to make new limits for yourself. More simply put than the other comments: women can't have as deep and meaningful relationships as men because women aren't as deep as men. Men invest their whole lives into something other than women. What they do is who they are, or at least it is a sizeable portion of their value. Their passion is something other than women usually. But more so, if you have a solid understanding of the reality around you, relationships fall into place. Is it a positive thing that humans must kill something else to live? Is it negative? No, it just is. It is reality. Is it a negative or positive thing that children like being commanded to …

If you give a woman a firm handshake with strong eye contact and make her be the one to initiate letting go (I've had this last for a solid minute while we continue talking, girls love to touch), they will love it. I get the best responses from showing women strength. They want a man and they want to feel a man's strength, not his ability to reserve strength. Girls today are depraved of a man's raw strength. Give it to them and they'll come back for more. When I shake hands I do it firmly. I try…

My assertiveness, to see how much shit I can put up with before I take measures? This is an important lesson to learn as a man, specifically when leading others. If you're willing to put up with a lot, you're actually seen as weaker than a man who calmly knows his boundaries and has consequences already in place for when those boundaries are pushed. You have to decide beforehand what the consequence is going to be when those around you push on a certain boundary. These boundaries don't have to b…

The alpha idealism is only an ideal if you don't have reality to back it up. I know I have value because x,y,z. If I know that I bring a lot to the table it would only serve as self-disrespect to "settle" for a woman that doesn't bring a gender-adjusted-equivalent-value. The beta believes he should be loved "just because", therefore making it an ideal. Any woman can come and do that and they both end up unhappy because ideals don't hold up to reality. Those that do their best to take it in stride seem to have the fewest problems in their lives. Now it's obviously not that simple because there is selection bias (not everyone is dealing with the same amount of problems), but it does seem that the more one allows their emotions to vent, the more frequently they feel it's acc…

What makes people call us misogynists though is not that we call out the women that do those awful things, but rather that we claim that all women have the potential/tendency to do those things (AWALT). Or he's improved his value so much that the difference makes the same girls relatively lower. For clarity, we all know how it feels to treat a girl that is clearly 3+ points lower than us. Usually it's easier to be less excited because they just aren't a challenge. So if he was a 5-6 before (average or slightly above) then the average girl was enticing, but now she's just too far down the scale to be challenging.

Virginity after a certain age or amount of life experience could mean intimacy issues just as much as being a CC rider. Girls love to touch and be intimate, and a fear of losing your virginity/being intimate should be a red flag. Not necessarily a deal breaker, but a considering it a red flag is simply wise.

If she cites Marilyn "love me at my worst" nonsense and expects that the one will be her Prince charming that treats her like a princess then that's a red flag. That is a clear denial of responsibility and is definitely a red flag. Granted, context is key. But that's the point of a red flag. Add em up and decide if it's worth it.

The correct success graph is a mix of stairs that are one inch high and 20 feet long (trudging along and seemingly barely making progress until you look back and realize how far you've come) and long plateaus that are broken by large jumps (a master of something has spent hours upon hours at the same skill level and then all at once "gets it"). I was good friends with a lesbian couple for almost a year. We'd hang out at the bars and at their apartment weekly. Probably once a month they'd be having a fight that turned violent. The straw that broke the camel's back for me was on the dom's birthday: she got really drunk and ended up getting pissed about nothing and choking out her mate in the bathroom. I heard it and ran in there and broke them up. I stopped hanging with them after that. Occasionally I see them and they always say "let's …

My best friend is one that I've known since we were 8. We were decent friends in high school, barely kept in touch in college, and now in a few days we are going to be living together. I'm pumped because this guy is my only friend constantly committed to improving himself. You're right, you just need to hang in there and try not to burn bridges. If the bridge happens to collapse, let it, it wasn't strong enough anyways. But if it just goes stagnant, give it time. Things can turn for the best. Es…

Women are not emotionally stunted because they are inherently inferior on some mental or physiological level. We simply live in a society where women are conditioned to not have a need to mature any further than 18 years of age. Are you attributing women's nature to a cultural influence? I know it's not politically correct and it borders misogyny, but the fact is that women are not as capable as men on an intellectual (mental) and physiological level. This is why men are the top of most fields a…

A wise, RP college professor told us that he read a "study" of sociologists that measured how much free time the "average" person has. After eliminating from the equation work, commitments, children, family, sleep etc., a person has ~20 hours to do whatever with per week. Likely a little more for a single dude. He said Those 20 hours define who you are. They define what kind of person you will become. They define what you want to be and what you're actually doing with your life. I don't care if …

I'm a teacher and can definitely agree, boys are not allowed to be boys. The saying "boys will be boys" is no longer culturally acceptable. I do try my best to implement rules in my classroom that are geared towards helping the boys succeed. 90%+ of men knew "no" means no. Those are the betas that go home and masturbate when a girl calls them over "for a movie" and says "no sex tonight." 90 fucking percent. Just by realizing that you need to look at what a girl does and not what she says, you'll move into the top 10%. That is if the source is able to be extrapolated to the whole population.

Blue pill beta bitches don't set boundaries. Women have boundaries set for them, and they shit test them to get the security of knowing they see there. Regardless of your opinions on women (I probably have a higher opinion than most in TRP), one thing is certain -- SJW/the media/society has emasculated men, in general. And that right there makes it clear that not all women agree with fem-Nazis/the media/sjws and whoever else is running around outwardly emasculating men for breakfast and eating their nuts for dinner. Which makes it easier to have a higher opinion of those women that don't do that. :)

Nice article and I think I mostly agree. Though the cynic in me would prefer it to be Few Women Are Better Than Others, merely just because I think that the type of self awareness it takes for a woman to address these things is actively discouraged by society. My grandfather was almost exactly the same way. Very very hard driven. Cold. Respect and accomplishment are more important than feelings. He came from Sweden to America in the 60s with nothing, worked for someone else, built his own home after work (literally put in 16-18 hours daily for years on end) and died a millionaire in 2010, working 14 hour days until 2 weeks before died. He was a harsh and cold man, but I learned more from him than anyone else in life and he was extremely liked by many.…

Not exactly. Men's decisions are almost exclusively based upon logic and reason. If you ask him why he did something, he will almost always have an explanation of his thought process. This happens very quickly in a man's mind. You cannot count men under the age of 17 or 18 as men because they often do things without thinking, "just because they felt like it". They haven't matured enough yet. Women however live almost exclusively on the "just because" type of thinking and then rationalize their a…

Why do they have to be "black" accomplishments? Why aren't they simply American accomplishments? This is one reason I love the history behind jazz. You have an AMERICAN genre. The only genre truly created and mastered by Americans. And the cooler thing you have different races coming together to do it. And the coolest thing, the color lines eventually became blurred and nobody gave a shit if Duke Ellington played at Carnegie hall or if Stan Getz was a white dude playing latin jazz or that Chick …

Excellent points. I have no desire to counter these. Caution is advised in all new things. For me, I see it as many of us have hunched shoulders and a tucked pelvis, which causes pain. By going extreme in the opposite direction, it has at least helped straighten out my spine and bring it to a more neutral position. It is a solution relevant to most of our culture. I think you're confusing need with capacity of enjoyment. Consider music: nobody really NEEDS music but we all enjoy it. Others with trained skill have a far greater capacity to enjoy great music more that's those without the capacity. MED can be applied to any skill with no diminishing returns if you increase frequency while decreasing total time. In my music training, I listened to a lecture from a guy doing his doctoral work on practice. I try to get boys to "man up" in various ways. I'll covertly promote the idea that respect is more important than love (for men). I'll get them to shake my hand and make solid eye contact and call them out on it if they don't. You can't safely assume he didn't marry a crazy woman. BPD and NPD both can be very concealed and enticing to a BP man. These type of women give men an extreme amount of validation in the beginning to snag them. If Archwinger says he was very BP and married this woman and had a kid, then became RP, it's entirely reasonable to assume she is bat shit crazy and he's willing to put up with it for the kid. Both BPD and NPD women would be extremely jealous of their own children.

Most of the top chefs in the world are men. Not just from ambition, but sheer skill. Men are better cooks. It's a cultural thing for men to not want to learn to cook, I believe. I think we may be disagreeing on semantics rather than application. Like I said in my post, delaying gratification should not be applied to small things like hanging out with friends. This. If you're against cold showers and the concept that they'll make you superhuman, that's your prerogative. Self-discipline is a skill that can be honed with practice. Self-discipline, willpower, resilience, focus, and many other mental traits are actually skills. Skills can be learned and practiced. They should be practiced. That's essentially what my point boils down to: if you want more of [this beneficial mental skill], practice it. If you want to deal with [specific hardship] more easily, practice [specific hardship] on a smaller scale.

I think making your intentions clear that you wanted it to be just you two is best. It seems like a BP move to try and hide sexuality and obviously you're going on a date to be sexual. The other side of the coin is that girls can be nervous meeting someone for the first time so they want protection. But you're going to a coffee shop in the daytime. Women don't have the physical power of a man. They evolved psychological abilities and with such came the ability to accept their present situation as reality, regardless of the past. The book War Brides talks about this. I haven't read it but Rollo talks about it a lot. It's not just that women don't know what turns them on outside of a situation (lack of self awareness). barely eats anything at all I knew a girl that said that. She's fat. Maybe 50 lbs overweight. She said she always "put herself in starvation mode" because she never eats. She's clueless. I observed get eating for a day: maybe 25% of her calories come from sweet tea, soda, sugar in coffee or other liquid calorie. constant "little snacks" like bite sized chocolates packaged or frozen food made up the rest. No wonder she's hungry and can't lose weight. I know this is your gf, but my point is "watch…

Your frame isn't strong enough yet Even worse for myself, I spent many months hanging out with girls from high school. Granted there are no other dudes around that I admire enough to dedicate my time to (I live in a very small town). But long story short, it beta-fied me even more. Since TRP, I've been working on improving myself so much, all three of these girls haven't texted me to hang in over a month after a time where I stood up for myself while they were treating me poorly. They used to te…

I think this comment deserves it's own post man. You're basically describing "with great power comes great responsibility". It seems like more than just a handful of guys here are striving to build their power and value, but fail to realize something like this. I never did. Especially when we think so much about how girls are so selfish so our default response "fuck it, she'd do the same to me". And for everyone there will be a degree of immoral vs amoral argument, but this post put a different …

Lifting: the only skill a man does where failure is success. Muscle failure that is. The only way to fail at the skill is to not do it (unless you have shit form and injure yourself). Pushing yourself to the point where you fail makes you realize that pushing the limit is good and that finally hitting that point of failure isn't that bad.

I meant for my points to be more separated than that. Let me clarify: Sexual mutilation has been used in the past on females as a form of punishment. Agatha of Sicily is an example of this form of punishment. It was my understanding that a common punishment for adultery was sexual mutilation at some specific time. This point is the most vague of the three because I'm struggling to find the source again.

Your points here are fantastic. a good king often behaves like a bad man would, only with an army to back him up. I'd say a bad man is only bad because the king has the law on his side. "Bad" men have armies, and when the law is viewed as unjust, the bad men are seen as revolutionaries. Which makes me wonder if the 60 years of "lack of brutality" is this way because of the rise of feminism and technology. Feminism is so pervasive right now and everyone is on video all the time, it makes a revolu…

Those ideas aren't contradictory at all, a woman can make your life better while also achieving her goals. Hmm, I think women go for their needs first and if it happens to benefit you then it will. She will always try to accomplish her goals (instinctual goals of motherhood, validation, attention, etc., not societal/feminism goals of career, status, friends, etc.) That's where I have an issue with this statement. You're misunderstanding my point that sex is psychological for women. Sex with another woman will not create that feeling of dominance that a man can provide. Unless the girl is a bodybuilder and takes testosterone and knows how to move get body in the subtle ways a man does. Even then it's difficult because the broad shoulders are not present. But that scenario is irrelevant for this story. The girl is very likely feminine and pretty.

Why are you jealous? Yeah she's your gf, but she's not cuckolding you. Taking a dick is a bigger deal than getting munched out or munching out. That's about all another girl can do. Plus look at it this way, this girl thinks you're so cool, she wants you to join in on her sexploration. She could've gone behind your back and just slept with this girl. Yes, I didn't think we were disagreeing. Just expanding and clarifying. For if widely-accepted laws were never questioned, we wouldn't have Relativity. Excellent point, including the details above. In this century you can literally sit at home and watch/read an entire course about an infinity of subjects at virtually zero cost. Instead of looking to support for RP theories, disproving contradictory evidence should be the top priority. Science is based on disproving a hypothesis and taking the facts that remain until you've distilled it down to a point where the remains are truth. We should be trying to disprove everything that comes across here. The reason certain truths stand here is because they have not yet been disproven, even under scrutiny of a large community.

Brilliant comment. Most go through life asking themselves, "what is the meaning of life?" Some religions claim "to serve God." Agnostics insist "as God's experiment." Hedonists: "to experience things." And it goes on. All the while, we can create meaning in whatever we choose. The meaning of life is to make life have meaning.

RSD/PUA and the like are skills, like lifting or playing an instrument. TRP is a set of principles derived from a long line of combined experiences, like music theory, that allows you to not only analyze why it's good, but take that same concept and create your own idea within those parameters. The next step of mastery is bending those rules without breaking them.

If a man were to falsely accuse another man of running him over with his car, but the guy just beat himself up to look like it, then you are arguing that instead of the accuser being charged, the police just need to ignore it unless probable cause can be provided? Is that close to the story? Or maybe rather that if the police carry through and it turns out there is evidence that the guy beat himself up then they should be fined/p…

One of my professors in college said a line very similar to that, almost verbatim. Another one irrelevant to the post but still truth: Too much trust becomes a temptation which the other person cannot bear. Relevant: I'm going to turn that into an opener. "Happiness is the byproduct of achievement. How's your day going?"

And that's right there is why we need a male space. You don't have to be on in a male space. You fuck up? Sorry dude, I'll back up. You fuck up bad? Let's go out back and fight a round or two. 10 minutes later we won't even be talking about it. If a woman was around that though we'd be hearing about it for the next week.

The local auto parts shop has couches and recliners for men to come chill. There are usually a handful of middle aged guys shooting the bull. They have fun stuff to talk about, it's clearly a male space, not in the sense of profanity, but the topics are much more mature and there is no gossip. At all. They may bring up Joe got divorced, but that's it. Logical information based idea shared. That's what makes a male space a male space. Not not being able to swear and talk crudely. A male space is …

Some mgtows still spin plates or bang prostitutes. This has been my understanding of the whole MGTOW choice. It's not that they are celibate or anti social. They just choose to go their own way, which for some could be video games and porn, others it's prostitutes and weed. I think the least common denominator in all their choices are based on swearing off the traditional male role of provider in favor of their own endeavors.

Some do get lazy being at home. Others, like myself, save every fucking dime and invest it. Within a few years, I'm in the position to be making almost 6 figures just as passive income. It's almost worth bearing the stigma of "I'm living with my parents". The question is how many people do that? None of my friends that went back home did. Other friends that didn't live at home and worked their asses off to survive aren't really in great positions either. They tend to live for the weekend as they…

You won't learn about the bible at church. You'll learn what that church thinks about the bible at a church. If you want to learn about the bible, take a class or watch videos on intricacies involved therein. Things like temple imagery and how the "church" (assembly of believers) was present through all of the bible is interesting. Hebrew culture is important to know when reading the bible and largely you'll see a reflection of the culture in the message and language, which is why it's so diffic…

So, men as gatekeepers of commitment being the committed gender, that must make women the more sexual creatures as gatekeepers of sex? I don't remember who said it but someone on TRP said men need sex like we need food, it's a biological drive that is insanely high and that's all we think about until we get it and when we are kind of bored with it once we have it. Drive -> satisfied. Commitment is our real concern. A high SMV man is thinking where he's going to spend his time. Could the inverse …

Consuming yeast before a night out drinking will cause the ethanol to digest into Acetyl-CoA before it even hits your bloodstream, helping you stay more sober on the same amount of alcohol. TRP just explained me the core of the men-women relationships and from there it was easy to understand what to do even if it's unique situation. The thing I love about TRP is learning these principles that without intentionally changing my "game" (lines, tricks, jokes), my inner game is being reflected naturally (less of a people pleaser, do what I want, maintain eye con…

It's entirely contextual depending on what medium you're using. Law 38 is similar to when you're in a room full of feminists, or perhaps somewhere else where there is literally no way for you to positively gain power. Conform for the time being and strike later. Law 39 is for situations where you can become the one in control (control frame of yourself and bring everyone else into your frame by stirring up the water). We aren't talking the same person anymore. You're changing variables. I'm talking the same instrument here. You claimed that guitar is more manly than sax. I'm simply saying I play both and get a far better response when I'm on the sax. I'm equally great on both and will play circles around most people (not just bragging, it's my profession). Perhaps I'm a sample size of one but the fact that the exception exists means you need to adjust your definition or scale.

That's a movie. Not real life. Show me the hoards of women killing each other to get to the floutist. Flute is in the middle. Sax is near the top. Sax is far more rare than guitar, drums, bass. This makes the novelty of seeing a sax very enticing. I've been playing sax for 13+ years now, consistently, so I'm a pro level player. Even if I was as good on flute as I am on sax, I guarantee that I wouldn't make as much of an impact as I do with sax. Sax is just far more dynamic and expressive on any …

Your example happens a lot. Which is why pre-rape-culture it was understood that when women are raped, sometimes they don't come out with it right off simply because they enjoyed it. They felt guilty about it liking it and couldn't talk about it because they were so conflicted. I don't remember the exact source on that because I read it almost 10 years ago, but I remember at the time it was an old source, perhaps a psychology book from the 60s or 70s. Have you read No More Mr. Nice Guy? He suggests a "healthy" form of masturbation, I forget the actual term. Basically, it's more meditative with sexuality involved rather than with a goal of orgasm in mind. Sit and clear your mind, like meditation. As you relax, focus on yourself and how you feel sexually. Explore that and touch yourself where you find it is pleasurable. If you happen to orgasm cool. If not, cool (as long as you don't feel blue balls, which means you were holding back). This wil…

Races are not mixed together evenly geographically the way gender is. Seems to me you just nullified your original argument. You could make the same argument for race. "Why do the white people always come out on top? That's kind of a straw man argument. White people have not "always come out on top". We are dealing with 6-10k years of civilized agricultural society where many different races have been the "world super power". China, Egypt, Rome, etc have all had their time in the spotlight. So you can't argue that one race is inherently able to oppress another race. It is the system that is oppressive of race because …

Weight does not determine good body composition. There are plenty of studies where subjects in one group lost more weight overall, but another group lost more fat mass and retained or gained muscle. Antonio et. al, 2014 isn't a perfect example because it's an overfeeding study, but you can see the differences in weight vs the difference in muscle mass for each group. Yes. A solid breath will cause your belly to become a beer belly, your shoulders to drop slightly, it grows from bottom to top, the spine elongates, I've popped my back just from a good breath. And concerning posture, either stand, or stand from the waist up. Alpha aside, standing from the waist up while sitting will simply give you more air while you sit, therefore you can get more force. This will translate into more conversational power.

I haven't really checked out any YouTube videos personally, so I can't recommend anyone, but I'm certain that someone with a lot of views and positive rating would have survived the scrutiny of other vocal coaches. Finally, a comment in my profession. You should get vocal lessons. Learn to project your voice without increasing the volume. This increases the clarity of your voice and therefore people will listen, especially because if you are speaking clearly without too much volume, you sound less excited (a huge problem for men on the tenor side of the spectrum). Aloofness projects confidence. Learn to breathe correctly also. A huge thing I notice with singers vs instrumentalists is breath control. If you…
