I would say yes. Surrounding yourself with people who care about you and having the means to take care of yourself should be top priority. Of course, if you're in college and taking it seriously, you are already doing this.

Basically you need to find a way to de-escalate your male competitor (after all, he's asking because he wants to make a move) without looking like a jealous beta. Try saying that you are engaged, or just married - which communicates the message to your competitor while also forming a lighthearted joke with the girl, showing that you are not in the least bit insecure.

I think you should first decide whether or not you are in crisis mode in terms of certain areas of your life t - are you incredibly overweight / have no friends / dress terribly, etc...? If there is a big red flag (for me it was fitness and dress), than you might need to dedicate 6 months of your time to a heavily skewed prioritization of fixing these urgent problems.

Depends on your 'STEM'. I have found that many career fairs are geared more towards entry level, less specialized business positions... and that the ratio of applicants to jobs is pretty high. I have had much more success in computer science and IT by working with recruiters and having a portfolio.

Do people just not read the sidebar anymore? As others have mentioned, spend an hour reading rule 10 of the 48 Laws. Also if you MUST take exception to this law, put your own oxygen mask on first before helping others. Realize that your desire to help him is probably selfe serving / an ego boost for yourself. Finally, for something as hard to swallow as TRP - and all the work it takes, you will not win this argument through words, but rather demonstration. (Rule 9 of the book you obviously skipp…

The four rules of being in the field/picking up women, regardless of which book you read or what guru you follow: Approach women Dress and act in a way you are comfortable / feel cool doing. Remember, women are just people too: at the end of the day you are just striking up conversations and meeting people. YOU GOTTA HAVE FUN WITH IT!!

If she does give your her number and then decline, i would categorize her as a 'cold lead', essentially forgetting about her as a primary opportunity, but circling back about once a week or every two weeks with a casual text invite to do something on campus - lunch, party you're already going to, open social club, etc. The idea in post rejection/flake follow up is to invest minimal brain and emotional energy in her until she shows enough interest to warrant more.

Nice conversing with you. Please know that I'm offering more of a socratic 'question all assumptions' role than I am critical or absolute argument. Yeah that part's simple enough. The hard part is coming up with a suitable activity to invite her to without coming on too strong and putting her off. I do I call the vanilla ice cream approach. Imagine there's a stranger, and for whatever reason, your mission is to get him to eat a bowl of ice cream you offer him. this mission is important to you, a…

I'm 22 and I consider myself at least above average in terms of looks Are you sure? Typical for newbies to overestimate their physical attraction. Find objective ways to double check. Naturally there's not really any good opportunities to talk to them though, since most people on campus are busy doing something or going somewhere. I think you know this is an excuse. I remember being in college and hanging around campus, rarely if ever was I too busy for a conversation. I also have pretty high st…

The amount of mental, physical, and emotional recomposition needed to go from blue to red is not trivial, and no pep talk from you or anyone else is going to convince him he needs to change... it's a decision he has to commit to on his own. That being said, be a good friend, and live your life in a way that's a walking endorsement for TRP.

Read up on IOI's (indicators of interest), and see if you can check some boxes based on your limited interaction. If still unclear, approach her in a socially acceptable way to see if you can provoke a few (IOI's) out of her.

Read up on rule 5 of the 48 Laws of Power - "So much depends on reputation, guard it with your life." As it explains, in this situation, you have a undesirable/unattractive reputation to these women, which will impact how they perceive anything you verbally or non verbally communicate. In other words, even if you do everything right, it can still be 'wrong'. The chapter also explains some tactics for rebuilding a destroyed reputation. But the long story short, circling back to these women, assum…

If, as a red pilled man, you find yourself in a committed relationship, you need to keep your word and integrity in fidelity, while being fully prepared mentally and emotionally for her biological instinct to not return the favor. It's also nice to be strong enough to keep this mindset while also enjoying the good times.

To a certain extent, people like to feel 'lucky' about what they have. Whether it's there one of a kind house, their special edition car, or the person they're dating. Being overtly controlling basically screams "You're not the lucky one, I am!". It also is the best way to say I don't have any better prospects. And yes, if a girl wants to cheat, she will find a way in 2018. This isn't the 1950's - she has her own car, probably her own place, hoe friends with an alibi, a cell phone that can erase…

Thanks for the support guys. I've been working at most of the basics for about 8 months, and I was more curious for discrete time opinions than the conventional get started now wisdom, although the sincerity is not lost on me. Respectfully, the problem I have with opinions like 'your whole life' or 'no right amount of time' is that it can be twisted into a rationalization for slow progress and less than max effort. For example, someone who gains a two pounds of muscle after 6 months of working o…

Post reads like a rushed regurgitation of the classic TRP posts. That being said, it isn't entirely innacurate. Model good looks are the quickest way to easy, effortless sexual experiences with women. Unfortunately, until genetic editing is possible, model good looks are unreachable for most of the population, even with the right haircut, straight teeth, a low body fat %, and nice clothing. Instead, most men can really only strive to reach 'not sloppy looking' or 'pretty good looking'. Being at …

Hey man, thanks for the post. I'm interested in how you were able to get Tinder / OKCupid dates early on in your transformation? These seem like great learning and practice opportunities, but I now a lot of guys, including myself, can't even seem to get a single match, no matter how many pictures/profiles we try.

I've heard of some legit psychological cases where a person experiences sexually arousal or longing for their rapist/assaulter (Stocholm Syndrome I guess) - basically a strange coping mechanism to a very real and unfortunate attack. However, I would venture to say that a common reality is exactly what you just described.... a poorly judged consensual sexual partner that is the perfect victim for a #metoo story by day, and an alpha hookup by night.

I once had a plate who had a story about being sexually abused by her ex-boyfriend. To paint a picture, her ex boyfriend was a muscular, hot tempered, dude with a bit of crazy in his eye. Apparently one time when they were on the fringes of a breakup, he forced himself into her apartment, pulled her out of the shower, and forcefully had sex with her. To anyone who heard the story, including myself at the time, this story was pretty herendous and quite disturbing. Especially when coupled with ass…

this best friend rationalization is one that a lot of guys use to defend their oneitis while still redpilling. The delusion that this girl is actually an amazing friend makes it easier to slap a "DOES NOT APPLY" asterisk next to her name as he learns some very hard truths, There are very few people out there who are actually amazing friends. Not convinced that shitty behavior is gender specific. BUT it's amazing how much shitty behavior a beta male will tolerate from his sexual partner. He knows that putting her in her place could result in him being single for the next half a decade like he was before he settled for her.

There is never an appropriate reason for a girl to give a guy her number in the context of a night club, if she already has a boyfriend. She is and never will be relationship material. but sounds like she might be interested in banging, circle back and see if her intentions are still there now that she's sober.

Not relevant, but still kind of relevant: I dated a girl with a fairly normal sex drive for about a year. After about a year, at a family member's insistence, she started taking bc. It completely erased every ounce of sexuality that was in her. I mean the woman became a nun practically.

My take (opinion/experience) Any girl over a 6, has been hit on and told she's attractive on a regular basis. Even girls with a modest ego and solid head on their shoulders are smart enough to have a solid grasp of their SMV. There is nothing wrong with giving more sincere compliments. It's not a novel or unique concept, but it is better than some/most. Just be careful not to BS yourself. Be honest with yourself. I agree with you 100%. Of course, competition is still strong for women in the "looks good enough" category . The shallow part of me: It doesn't matter her personality or how amazing a person she is, if she's below a 6.5/10, I will never date her. The less shallow part of me: If I'm in a relationship with 7/10 and legitimately appreciate her beyond her looks, I would never leave her for a 10/10.

Step 1, get to a point socially where it doesn't seem completely random to add her on facebook or get her number. All you really have to do is meet her in a group or social setting... which if you are interested and know about her already, you might have already done this step naturally. Once you have her number and/or facebook (messenger), this is the medium you are going to want to use to ask her to hang out. There's a guy in my social circle who is nice enough, but is always trying to impress the girls in it with money.... paying for group bar tabs, over the top gifts, etc. At one point he's even tried to hand one of the girls cash. I will concede that the scenario you are describing might lend itself better to a woman with kids. Although I kind of feel that if I was a single father, I might selfishly still prefer a woman with no kids who was willing to help raise mine.

Having a kid is scratch and dent? What if dad was a vet and was KIA or died in a traffic accident? The thing with scratched and dented items is that it's not always their fault that they are scratched and dented. Doesn't make it any less true. I don't see any way in which a potential LTR having kids from another man is anything other than a negative, even if the circumstances around it don't reflect poorly on her as a person.

Agreed. In my experience a lot of 4-6's are some of the most multi-dimensional women I've ever met. Likely because they've had to develop actual interests and personality depth that aren't required by the women who have won the genetic lottery.

Unpopular opinion, I actually enjoyed the documentary and didn't really see it as any more than an expose on how close the porn industry is to home. It's easy to think that the 21 year olds we see in porn are these vegas born and raised coke heads, when in actuality it's just girls from our own neighborhoods who were young and bored. Definitely enforces concepts of abundance and AWALT.

This is a really solid post that I hope catches a lot of attention from the new guys. There are many guys that will not get a spare tire or giant gut until they are obese, so they assume they are good to go just because they don't have one. The reality of it is, like you said, the first thing to go is any sort of cheekbone and jawline definition. I appreciate the time you put into sharing this, but I am underwhelmed by it. Your brother has high social status in multiple arenas, has several channels to consistently meet attractive women, and is probably in good shape. I think I mostly agree with this. Things like Amazon, Google, Reddit, etc remove so many physical barriers of self improvement that existed even 2 decades ago. The only slight hesitation I have on this assertion is that the same technologies have also skyrocketed competition - in everything, including the sexual market. You no longer have to be in the top 20% of the neighborhood or town, you have to compete with men who drive in or communicate from a 40 mile radius.

I guess the hardwork part is subjective. Like for me, my journey from 30% body fat to 15% has been a lengthy and challenging task. I guess a 4 could become an 8 with about two years of invested discipline and other resources (some time and money).

Well of course. And even if you live in a shithole you're technically lucky that you have all your limbs in that shithole. And even if you live in a shithole with no limbs you are lucky that you got to experience something in life, unlike all those who died during infancy. So yes, my statement here is a bit of an exaggeration, but I think it gets the point across.

There is definitely supression after ending a cycle (not sure about while on it - maybe double check that?), but it's mild. Also the suppression from real steroids is much more significant. Either way, PCT drugs help counter this.

I'm going to not try to be too graphic, but there is a biological X factor that sometimes brings escalation to an immediate halt. Vaginas are different than penises, they aren't ready for the main stage on any given day/at any time. There's always a chance that the first or second date was when she was on her cycle, or maybe she is not as groomed as she would have liked, or maybe there's just some general disharge down there. I don't exxplicity disagree with what you're saying, but in the context of things I think this holds relatively low signficance. Have high SMV, market yourself well, and these little things have quite a bit of leeway before they are difference makers. ^ My opinions.

I think there are two destinct types of men that keep surfacing in these allegations. There are the ones who use their position of power to exxplicitly or implicitly de make deals with sexually aware women who know whats up (not sexual assualt). And then there are monstors like Brian Singer or Bill Cosby who systemically prey and in the most literal sense drug and rape people (definitely sexual assault). There should be no tolerance for the later. But for the former, I think we, as a society, ne…

i had a dead bedroom for almost 2 years with my college girlfriend. Even if TRP had been around for me back then, I'm not sure how much I would have benefited. I felt basically pinned because the thought of breaking it up with the girl i loved, for a reason like not enough sex, overwhelmed me with guilt and feelings of douchebaggery. Can't help but imagine that a lot of those sad saps - especially the ones with kids- feel the same way.

good point. actually some of the gender specific finger pointing in trp, usually by new and younger members, i think really is unfair. Like yes you are mad that the 6/10 girl next door had 6 new sex partners this year, but lets be real you would have had 50 if it were that easy for you

I sincerely believe that most men would choose the later if presented with both lifestyle options in their younbg adulthood. The problem is that 90% of men don't have the immediate ability to pull it off, and for some reason busting their ass at the gym for a year and getting their shit in order seems much more impossible than financing a wedding.

Your wife, like all people ever born, has the potential to be selfish and shitty. Your wife is also a woman, so if she decides to be selfish and shitty a common and biological manifestation of that is a hidden affair. Just because it has the potential to happen does it mean it has or ever will.

the best thing Charlie or any of us can ever do is accept that infidelity is always a possibility from the start. The goal of having a plethora of sexual options at any given time is not to re-enact some Blue Mountain State or American Pie type fantasy live style. Although that could be considered an auxiliary benefit as well. The real benefit is simple, a person with a variety of options will almost always make a better choice than than the person with one option. Think about going to a car lot with your buddy. I don't think there's ever an age or demographic where women pursue men with the same techniques that we use. When an average man is chasing a girl, he drives to the basket, tries to dribble around the defenders (her, her friends, logistic challenges) and takes a mediocre shot from outside the paint. When I see women 'chase' a man, she's not really doing the same thing or driving to the basket. Instead, it's usually just her throwing ally oops of opportunities for the chad to smash it in and sco…

yes of course. As I mentioned it wasn't a matter of giving them the women or the the beta's taking the women... It was a group of people wanting to join together for collaboration against natural disasters, war with other groups, famine, etc. In order to keep the beta men stationary in the communities' geo location and actively contributing to the cause, it was important to provide satiation for his desire to mate.

I think monogamy helps prevent this, but i don't think this is the primary reason. In the natural order of things the top 20% produce all the offspring, unlikely that there were a large majority of men with that as a primary concern since they probably didn't have the opportunity to produce offspring outside of monogamy.

Yes, the modern implementation monogamy is really kind of a joke, because there are no consequences for violating it. And like any rule without consequence for breaking, those who are negatively impacted by it will break it as soon as they get the chance (women, alphas). The thing about 'hoes to housewives' is its really not all that different than any other predictive behavioral analysis. Person who did X in the past is statistically likely to do X again in the future. Companies are afraid to hire people where X is a violent crime. Men should be afraid to marry someone where X is an act of infidelity. This logic should not be breaking news to anyone, but I think a lot of men feel like they have more ability to change a spouse than they actually do.

One of the pivotal points in your Red Pill journey should involve accepting your lack of control over other people's behavior and commitment.
