Yes. It's important for your university to know that he's not a good preceptor. I think it's important to file a complaint with HR as well. To the best of your ability, write down the days and times he said inappropriate things to you. If you have texts/emails, screenshot them. Build your case. Keep the note with days and times with you so you can accurately file a report. Good luck.

I've noticed that women on social media cannot have opinions or thoughts without at least half a dozen men shouting them down or playing devil's advocate. I had a friend call a guy out for doing that, and point out that she didn't see him doing that to any other women's posts, and also, that he wasn't even her friend, so what was he doing? He backed down immediately. She's married with a child. He also had a fiance 😬

When I was a teenager I had a psychiatrist touch my hair and make inappropriate comments to me. He kept asking me about my sex life and when I refused to discuss (I was there for sexual trauma), he got belligerent. I screamed for my mom (in the waiting room), and she came in. He told her I had major issues and tried to diagnose me with bipolar disorder after 30 minutes (not possible, and in the decade since, I was never diagnosed with that). A few years later, several underage patients came forw…

I also think it's extremely catty to assume that all young women are conniving or looking for this. If you have plenty of evidence to the contrary, ok. I get it. But if you don't, you should avoid making assumptions. More than once in my career I've had older men go after me. One time, it was at a networking event. I remember anxiously looking around the room as I started teetering on the edge of a panic attack, sending the "help me," look to other, older women (who just gave me looks of disgust…

My brother told me the same thing. A relationship shouldn't be hard work. It shouldn't be suffering. I've seen so many healthy and wholesome relationships from the men in my family. I refuse to settle.

Sometimes, in rare instances, the frat sweetheart designation is wholesome. It's usually not tough. A lot of times, it's just a way to signal which women have slept with multiple brothers. It's messed up.

Yeah given the fact that all my exes (except one) were over 6', not married, not obese, and had jobs making 80k plus, I think this site is full of crap. Also none of them are married now, not even after 5-10 years, so....

The guy in the bottom left is Sergio Ramos. Was Captain of Real Madrid for a while. Seems to be really lovely to his wife, who is actually older than him (unusual given how a number of celebs go for women inappropriately younger). Seems like a nice person, but idk too much about him.

This makes so much sense. I've been a phantom ex. For being "the one that got away," he didn't treat me well, and he neglected our relationship. It's just excuses. We can't fix these things in other people. Only identify and move on.

https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.healthywomen.org/amp/menopause-and-schizophrenia-connection-2646342041 This article goes into this, but there's a peak in women after 45 being diagnosed with schizophrenia. A friend's grandmother lost custody of her for this reason. Really sad stuff, and really understudied, as are most things involving women.

I have a friend who makes less than 50k and has a nice 3 bed/2 bath in a nice town and is happy with her life. The secret is to live somewhere with a low cost of living and live within your means! Alternatively, you can always room with a bestie. That's it. Money problems are the #1 cause of divorce. Why set yourself up for failure with this attitude?

Had a guy come to me regularly to cry and share his feelings. I found out months later that he would tell people we "hooked up." It was... Awful. I lost so much trust in men after that. You have to be a little bit dead inside to cut people open like that. There's some surgeries where doctors have to use bone saws to cut open people's chests ffs. They've probably seen a lot of people die. Eta: obviously not all surgeons are evil. But I think to do surgery, you have to override the instinct that you're causing harm to someone to ultimately help them. It might be easier for some of that instinct isn't there to begin with.

Whenever I go on a date and an older man rants about how I look 10 years younger, I run. Why does he want to date someone who looks like a teenager? I don't get that nonsense from younger men. Recently I've been going 2-5 years younger to avoid the Bs. Usually they'll say,"you look like you're my age," or "you look a few years younger," but they don't make a big deal out of it.

The context in which the coworker mentioned it is when people ask him what he does. It's not like it's a shameful job either. If you're out of someone's league they're more likely to mate guard. Mate guarding behavior is often abuse. They're going to tell you to stop wearing makeup, tell you to dress down, sabotage your career, control who you see All because they know deep down that you will wake up and leave. You would think they would step up their game. But it's like a race to the bottom to get worse and worse and see how much you will tolerate and how much they will drag you down. It's tragic.

Sexual compatibility is such bullshit when you're looking for a Life Partner. What happens when she has a baby and can't have sex for x amount of time? What happens if one of you gets horribly chronically ill and you can't have sex anymore? What happens when you get older and that's just not a priority anymore? These people are sick in the head.

Yeah tbh the crying is too much. If you read the article, you can see that he invited her to live with him after one weekend, and said very generic rom com kind of things. One of the biggest red flags that has kept me from going on second dates are men that look at you like they're sizing you up. I don't know how to explain it. Women agree with the post because it's very clear that all these things are not empowering, despite the lies that liberal feminism tells women. That's why they flip the script and ask why men aren't lining up to do these things. Simple. They're not because it's not empowering-- it's degrading. What do you not understand? I'm happy that it worked out for you. Some whitening is gentler than others and safer, according to some dentists. But I'm also pointing out that the natural color of your teeth was probably normal.

Some people have sightly yellower teeth genetically than others. Tooth whitening can actually damage your enamel and increase sensitivity. I can understand dropping someone for dental hygiene but a little yellowness isn't necessarily an indicator of hygiene. Edit: that said, have whatever preference you want.

I am tired of every book centering around male characters. I've read so many of them. I'm burned out of them. And unfortunately, many of the books with strong female leads are stereotypical. I'm my experience, female professors can be worse allies than make professors in these cases. I had a professor tell me I had no reason to be out after dark when a group of women and I brought attention to how unsafe our campus was for women. Absolutely hate the "hot for teacher" comments. 🤢 Plus the "students must love you." Another red flag is when men say they did your line of work, but quit early on because they couldn't handle it. In teaching that's especially heinous because you leave a bunch of kids hanging. In some schools/districts, that might mean that the kids get a string of subs during the year. Terrible.

I think a lot of people struggle with loss of identity after they have kids. At a certain age, you're no longer the center of the universe and there's a whole new generation ready to replace yours. Unfortunately, cavities can be subjective and the # of cavities you have can vary from dentist to dentist. Some dentists want to fill everything, some will do the "wait and see" based on your hygiene and history. I recommend getting a second opinion if you can. Also, the generic stuff, brushing your teeth, flossing, and avoiding sugary foods and acidic beverages help. Also, if you drink coffee or acidic drinks, do not brush right after! Wait ~30 minutes. Men who are intimidated will disappear. But educated men, at my level or greater, respect it. So maybe quantity will go down, but quality will improve. And at the end of the day, if I get married, it will only be to one person, so I would rather weed everyone out early and not be too distracted by any time wasters.

Also, it's so deeply upsetting to think that men we know (coworkers, friends, etc) masturbate to our photos. If I post a photo on Instagram, that's not what I'm consenting to. Period.

Know a man that is always working, works two jobs, us going to put himself in an early grave (mid 30's and has high blood pressure, heart problems, high cholesterol, diabetes etc). Turns out he's been divorced twice, and has a kid in another state he will never ever see but pays child support for. Oh and he's broken his hand multiple times from punching things.

I knew a guy like this. He will sue for anything and everything. He had 3 lawyers on retainer. He was a millionaire from all the lawsuits he won. She needs to be careful. Guys like this can win even the most frivolous of lawsuits by baiting or catching people off guard. They are also usually well connected enough that their lawyers know the judges on the stand and can get things thrown their way. They have no ethics or morals.

What I've learned in all my years from having "guy friends." A lot of them have that "questionable friend." That friend that they have to keep away from girls at parties. That friend that they shelter their sisters and female friends they respect from. One woman is in a relationship with a man that looks like her dad. The other is in a relationship with another woman's husband. This shit makes me so mad. I thought it was in my head at first. I noticed this when I first had to take the train in a major city at age 18. If all seats were taken, men wouldn't sit next to other men, they would go for the seat next to the youngest woman (me). More than half the time, they would start conversations. If all the seats next to women were taken, the men would usually stand. I would put my bag on the seat. It would be met with hostility. Why can't women exist in public in peace???

I personally like playing games with my friends on our server. It's interesting though, I see high value and low value behaviors on the server. High value-- a couple joins for weekly or bi weekly game nights. Games last 1-2 hours. They're not mean, even in games where betrayal is part of the strategy. They always play together and are a joy to be around. They have other hobbies. Low value-- a guy continues to play games until early in the morning, even on weeknights. Complains about his partner.…

This can be applied to workplace. I had a workplace that was playing games with people's salaries (which is illegal, but wage theft is so hard to get justice for), and I would come in and tell everyone almost every day that if they weren't looking for other jobs, they were dumb. When I put in my resignation a few weeks later, my boss was shocked. Everyone said they didn't expect it. I don't know how. It wasn't a secret. Oh, and I did get all my pay eventually.

On the same note, it's more important than ever for women to get off the apps. Traffickers are on the apps.
