I think that these men are keen to perpetuate this nonsense because they lack the emotional maturity to think of literally anyone but themselves. They were raised by a culture that is so isolationist when it comes to men that they absolutely dig their heels in like children at the mere thought of having an ounce of empathy or doing any self-reflection whatsoever.

They'd rather piggyback off of women's hard labor and skate through life putting in as little personal meaningful effort as possible because of sheer sloth and stupidity. And then they're sad and blame women because they have "no one to turn to" when they're going through it. Like bro, you freak out about the friendzone and bitch about it to high heaven to any woman you come across, YOU DO NOT WANT FRIENDS. YOU WANT A MOMMY BANGMAID WHO DOES EVERYTHING FOR YOU AND THEN FUCKS YOU. You don't want friends, so don't whine and moan that you're not allowed to share your feelings when you purposefully made yourself the least likeable and most isolated person in any given room. Someone please explain to me this fantasy that men have of this mythical woman who does not recoil in disgust over their legitimately detestable behaviors? Like this is another one of their weird mommy fantasies again? My mommy spent years cleaning up my bodily functions she still loves me so a woman can't love me enough unless she's willing to wade knee deep in my own literal and proverbial shit just like mommy?

Exactly. Women are not in a time anymore where we need men. Thanks to women like RBG, we can get our own lines of credit, we can get our own housing, etc. We don't need to rely on a man for income, security / protection, or a place to live. We can even adopt kids if we want / do IVF if we want children. We also have even more options for birth control if we do not want children. My point is we really don't need men in this day in age, at least in the USA. And yet, the bar has somehow been lowered more and more, hell has been new depths. Men really are the desperate ones, look at the three scrotes from years past who made new numbers to try hitting me up again. The guy in my hometown that is working at a hardware store ans living in his paremts basement at 35 years old now still asks all about me whenever he runs into my parents at work! Men are the desperate ones - I see them settling and rushing into marriages with any pickme that takes them after they get rejected. They know queens don't need them, but they avoid putting in any actual effort still 🤡

I own my car. I own my house. I'm educated and work in healthcare. I have 3 kids (recovering from a bisalp which is a party for one), and they're fucking amazing. I'm well-read, have lots of hobbies and compete in my chosen sport. Please tell me WHY I should put up with anything but diamonds, praise and home-cooked food from any man?

The sad thing is he's right. So many of us have put up with so much shit from other people. We've been taught since we were little to put male attention and romance on a pedestal, put others before ourselves in the name of love, to be "selfless".
