Funny how they are fuming over fast food places but say nothing about sport events, family gatherings or a nightclub being actually a terrible places to have a first date. Guess cherry-pickers gotta cherry-pick 🤷‍♀️

So, you wrote about me getting triggered, got no reply and decided to edit into a cringy unfunny joke? Yeah, go search a therapist nearby.

Still better than spending even 5 minutes with men, described in these comments (you included), so...

Why? I think your mother and I have a good time fucking, and it's not just about sex for me.

So, if you can't control it, why are you so pissed when women want someone tall or with a big dick? Just say "Sorry, it ain't me" and move on.

If the guy she's hitting on is visibly uncomfortable and clearly isn't interested, I began loudly acknowledge the situation. Like telling someone next to me "Omg look at Amy over here trying to get into Mark's pants!" in a joking manner. And if the guy is enjoying all the "attention", I just ignore them.

I also hate how Depp's fans blame Heard for him being fired as if there are no endless statements from his former colleagues and crew members about his horrible set behaviour, including being drunk and refusing to learn any lines. And it all began long before he met Amber.

Fucking this! I bet 1000$ his gf is the same as you, and that's exactly why he dates her and not a "party girl" who only likes booze and loud music.

That's how I found this place. Someone commented about "female incel sub" and linked FDS. And I came here to investigate because "female incel" sounds surreal. Incels are people who have sex demand but no supply. While women always face oversupply, but the moment we say that there's no demand from our side, we get labeled "incels"? Lmao.

Thanks! Yeah, now, when I have to manage this property, I understand why my parents needed help, but I probably would work harder if they just admitted how useless my brother was instead of pretending that he's too little to help 😂

I have a younger brother and I remember how it felt when he was allowed to play all day, outside or videogames, while I had to help my parents do things (grew up in a rural area). And also triggering flashbacks from school when you get paired with the most violent, stupid and unhygienic boy and forced to help him better his grades. But it results only in your grades getting worse.

To be fair, Bridgerton's second season had like 2 sex scenes in the last episode, if I remember correctly. And it overall much better than the first one (for me). But overall yes, idk why all modern tv shows need so much explicit scenes. I barely finished Euphoria's 1 season and not even bothered with a second one. Adults LARPing as minors having sex is definitely not for me.

Yep, if it was something formal actually, he could've just tell her to wear a dress or a suit. and it was for her to decided if she wants to go then. Also people don't drastically change their appearance, so there's a 99% chance she dresses similarly on a daily basis and he knew what to expect.

I read that a lot men swipe right literally on everyone and then try to act as if you owe them for "choosing" you.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy12/04/22 07:34 AM

It's even more baffling since you see it it movies all the time, especially after one-night stands, a guy says "I need to go, but there's some food in a fridge, and don't forget to lock the door".

In general, I'm not supporting an idea of sitting tight and waiting for a man to plan everything, especially for first couple dates since you're basically a stranger to him and it's normal to lack ideas a bit. So it's very important to see if he's really half-arsing it or just not sure if you'd like the same stuff as he is. In my opinion, it should be like a tennis match for the first couple dates, but you hit him back with ideas so he can plan things for you both to enjoy.

Some women, who are actively looking for a partner in order to have children, for example, might feel very discouraged by the lack of decent men. And if people around say it's her fault for having "high standards", it might get in her head and result in lowering standards to "has job and brushes teeth occasionally".
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy30/03/22 01:33 PM

Yeah, and she said it's important to tell this to men right away? I mean, it can be a decent vetting move but in general listing all your partners to some random man sounds weird.

No, according to her, you change your location to a city you plan to visit/move to and spend time matching with men prior to arriving so when you get there you can go straight to actual dates and not was time on chats (as if time you spent chatting with them anyway isn't "wasted" because you were in a different city🙄).

Agree. It's not "cockblocking" because we always do it on purpose since it's every woman's "job" to protect her friends and even strangers from creepy dudes.

I did the same to a total stranger at a party once. I was sober designated driver (I don't like drinking much anyway) and saw a guy bringing drinks non-stop to this girl. She was laughing and didn't seem distress but it changed when he tried to make her leave. She wanted to stay and dance, and he was already holding her jacket and pushing her towards the exit. I followed them outside to ask her if she actually knows him. And realised that the guy is as sober as I am and she's barely can stand. H…

Agree. It's so funny when you tell a guy "No, I don't want to come to your place after a 3rd date because I know you just want to coerse me into having sex" and he gets mad and calls you a whore as if he really just wanted to watch a movie without even touching you 🙄🙄🙄

Thanks for the great post! I first discovered FDS via some other subreddit where men made fun of women and their "impossible standards". But posts like yours remind me that the bar is still low af and the majority of women here just want someone who's not pushy, cheating and talking about his ex 24/7.

Even better, stop explaining anything to anyone! 9 times out of 10 people pretend they didn't understand what you just said only because they want you to change your opinion to match their. My mental health and life in general began so much easy when I stopped bending backwards trying to please my friends and family. My speech is eloquent enough, I don't use slang words or cuss when unnecessary, so there's no real reason for me to elaborate on the smallest things I've said, except when people wa…

The only moment from "Fleabag" (both theatre play and series) I really dislike, is when a guy convinces Fleabag to do anal and says that his girlfriend never allowed him to do it because of how huge his dick is. And her thoughts in that moment "Do I have a giant arsehole???".

When I used to use Tinder, I noticed a lot of men being very snobbish about hobbies. Some of them even had "I want a passionate woman with a lot of hobbies. No, reading books, watching TV and eating food are not hobbies!" in their bio. Like, dude, you have nothing attractive to say about yourself so you decide to be hostile towards women (again).

I read somewhere that statistically, most couples break up after the new year eve or valentine's day. Mostly for societal reasons since we believe those dates have something magical about them (the beginning of something new and the ultimate celebration of romantic love) and we hype up our expectations and when a partner, or a spouse, appears indifferent or even opposes the idea of celebrating this dates, out anger and disappointment multiplies. So sorry you have to go through a difficult decisi…

A prime example of the Dunning–Kruger effect. Men (and some women, unfortunately) assume that c-section is a simple operation and mothers who choose it are lazy. But in fact, is a quite dangerous procedure and it's gonna be so hard to take care of your newborn because of the stitches and inability to lift things, or even sit, for some time. I'm pretty sure OP won't be able to just tell her doctor "I want a c-section!" and they just roll her into the operating room. 99% it's still gonna be perfor…

I know a lot of people, men and women, who absolutely can't justify just going and buying something unless it's a present. Like, buying this thing won't impact their financial situation, but they still wait for some event to buy it. So I think her being happy about the new vacuum cleaner is exactly this. You can buy it any day of the year, but she still thinks it has to be a present because it's quite expensive. I used to do it all the time for myself too. "Learning" just buying things I need an…

The last part had me screaming. Here's your answer for "why she was never invited to stay in his house" lol. Glad she dumped him instead of saying something like "Oh, it's probably his sister or his mother and they just own a house together".

When I used to use Tinder, I encountered a lot of men genuinely shocked that women aren't interested in them. Like, they were very irritated finding out that you need to have a personality and an ability to hold a conversation in order to meet somebody. They really believed women gonna reply to their "hi wyd?" with their home address or ask for theirs and drive there.

I'm not a native English speaker and a guy on Tinder wrote me once that he wants FWB. I was like "What does it mean?", he replied "Friends with benefits. We just meet from time to time, your place or mine, have sex and not spoil it with relationships bullshit". I couldn't stop laughing. Sex considered a benefit?? He proceeded with attempts to convince me how women need it more than men and he'll be doing me a favour. Even now, typing it, can barely hold and don't laugh hysterical.

Ooof, kinda happy to hear I'm not alone in this, but also obviously sorry it happened to you too. When I only started to learn Chinese, I was fascinated with this country, its culture, history etc. But I could never picture myself living in modern China, with all this shit that happened recently. Race fetish is the whole another deal, but my friend views it as a "good thing" because these men are looking for something specific and not just vaguely doing a wife material search.

I watched a documentary about the first-ever dating site. It was for American men and Ukrainian women, but later it was discovered that the site's owner was doing all the correspondence and just charged men for their letters to be translated to Ukrainian and delivered and then another fee for women's answers to be in English as well. I have a suspicion that it's going to be the same here because I will receive e-mails not from these men direct;y, but via my friend's site for "safety reasons". So…

Thanks for your answer! I just can't wrap my head around why would she do that. I tried to explain to her that I won't be able to date a man when we have such vast cultural and language differences. I speak Chinese, but I'm nowhere near fluent, so if he doesn't speak my native language effortlessly, it's already impossible to establish normal conversations. But since she has some sort of "yellow fever" and always wanted an Asian husband, it feels like she just doesn't understand why I'm so reluc…

To be fair, she didn't use my real name, and since google (and Instagram, if I'm not mistaken) are blocked in China, I hope it won't be easy to find me. But obviously, if some of these men will want to stalk me, they'll find a way for sure.

I guess match-making is quite popular in Asian countries (correct me if I'm wrong, don't want to sound ignorant), but I agree, this looks more like sex-trafficking. I won't be surprised if it's actually her husband's idea and he just uses her because she's Slavic and has a lot of friends from college, like me.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy09/02/22 07:15 AM

I know, right?? It was so out of the blue, we were friends since college (5+ years) and even when she moved to China, still kept messaging each other. And now she hits me with "I think you can be a good wife to a man who doesn't care about you at all as long as you look a certain way".

Also thinking about all these poor women who will splurge on lingerie, shave their whole body, cook a 3-course meal, please him in every way and in return get no orgasm and "Oh, I thought we don't celebrate these stupid commercialised holidays, I want to surprise you with flowers any day of the year!" Narrators voice: He never bought her flowers before. And he never will.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy07/02/22 01:00 PM

Idk why, but lately a lot of women I know treat giving bj as "nothing". Like, they're completely fine with sucking off some random dude in his car on a second date and don't care (or pretend not to) if it's the last time they see him.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy07/02/22 12:22 PM

Yes! One of my "male" friends used to make jokes about stupid women, racism etc. and his gf turned into a pick-me type and supported his bigotry. I stopped being silent and now they won't talk to me because I "can't take a joke". Like, honey, Jimmy Carr is one of my favourite comedians, I can laugh at pretty dark and controversial topics, your "jokes" are just not funny, like, at all.

"Asian female" is a dead giveaway of a men's fantasy lol. Like, sir, you know what Asia is? Stop projecting your fantasies about Asian = submissive Japanese waifu. I lived in China for several years and people there tend to go Dutch because every meal is basically a bunch of huge dishes you all share. I never went on a date with a Chinese guy, but I'm pretty sure if they're romantically interested, they gonna pay for you and not insist on 50/50 (at least it's what my girlfriends told me).

Yes, because the whole point of these apps is to make people use them 24/7 and it's not gonna show less active profiles because other people gonna be disappointed if they get no match or no text because you check an app once a week.

Ah yes, the famous funny prank: make a profile for your friend on Tinder and message some girl on his behalf and just laugh at it later. Solid comedy material, who would pass on this.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy04/02/22 06:08 AM

Yet again, sharing my favourite article on this topic: the myth of male bumbler. I mean, Woody Allen avoided rape charges pretending he has no clue what everyone is talking about, so men gaslighting you into believing your tinder profile stays active for ages even if you don't use it is a piece of cake.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy04/02/22 06:06 AM
12

Because the whole point of Tinder is to make sure you use it as much as possible. When you stop checking it after every notification, you get your profile shown less and less because Tinder doesn't need other people to get disappointed after matching with ppl who used it weeks ago and clearly won't reply to messages.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy04/02/22 06:03 AM

Personally, I would never ask to check someone's phone (or hand over mine unless there's a court order lol). I was in a similar situation with Tinder and my then bf also said that he's inactive and "has no idea why his profile keeps showing up". Fortunately for me, he was dumb and a matter was settled by me asking my friend to DM him on Insta and he immediately started flirting with her.

I think later the app was no longer free to use, but realistically still a lot of men gonna pay any money if they have a target to stalk.

I'm not an expert in this, but I think the first step should be turning your Bluetooth on and going through all paired devices and deleting ones that you don't use or ones that look suspicious. Also changing your apple account (or how it's called?) passoword won't hurt either.

A few days ago Russia passed a new law under which pdos will get a life sentence, and it applies to having sx with anyone younger than 18 (if you're 18 or older) and the amount of men angry at this new law is terrifying. Some of my male acquaintances asked why I'm not worried since "women can be pdos too" and I was like "Well, I'm not worried because I have no plans of having sx with minors. And if you're afraid of someone accusing you of this crime — it sure sounds like you're the problem".

Every day I think about an old Reddit post of a guy who forced his wife to have an open marriage after reading some men's forums that convinced him that he's at his prime right now and can have a ton of young women instead of his old sagging spouse. One of my college friends ended up in this trap. Maternity leave in our home country is 3 years and her husband convinced her to leave her job for good and be a stay-at-home mother. Agree. My politics is to never discuss each other ex-partners. In my experience, men, who infodump about their past girlfriends, get really mad when you politely withhold everything about your relationships. Feels like they want a blueprint of how to manipulate you or something and I'm always baffled when my friends eagerly share all the bad shit their exes put them through. When I first became aware of the feminist movement (15+ years ago), it was very common to blame everything on men. A lot of activists were saying that your abusive mother is just a victim of patriarchy and you can't be mad at her. Especially if you remind her of your "horrible father", just endure all the abuse and forgive her later. Gosh, the number of forums I was banned on for defending a child's right not to be abused because their father hurt their mother at some point...

Oof. When he asked about monthly payment it was immediately obvious that he expected her to come and beg him for money and he'd had another leverage to manipulate her. LVM always want to be private about how much they make as long as they know you're making less. The moment your check is bigger they do a 180 and suddenly it's "But we're a family! I absolutely LOVE costume jewellery. The majority of my rings and earrings are of a small saucer size and I wear at least 2-3 pieces daily. Guys, who think like this, have one common problem: unfortunately, no woman ever was interested in them, so they have no idea what it looks like. They read some pick-up books and think all the women have the same attitude and never-ever make first moves, when in reality, if we're interested, we're definitely not gonna sit with arms crossed and lips pursed, pretending to have zero attraction.

I also have a funny mother-related story! But she barged in in the middle of our date. Turned out, some of her friends saw him with me inside a restaurant, called her and she literally ran there because he didn't tell her he's going on a date and she must approve all the ladies he meets. Thanks! My biggest "problem" is I have no hangover. I can be blackout drunk and just wake up 4-5 hours later and have no problems whatsoever. And I read an article about how people like me become addicts more easily since we don't dread the morning after with excruciating headaches or sick stomachs.

Also, survivor bias is pretty strong. I think everyone has that one friend who found their "true love" on this app and now thinks it has to happen and you're just not trying hard enough.

Yay, congrats! My biggest problem was the idea that I can do certain things alone. Like, go to a nice restaurant or bar or even the movies. And then one day I realised how stupid it was: needing a man to accompany me to all these things.

Even before FDS, I immediately unmatched men who didn't want to chat in a dating app itself and always asked for insta/telegram/whatsapp etc. Saw it immediately as a sign of a person who tries to hide having dating apps on his phone.

Ugh, yes. I remember being so fed up with constant "I don't look for anything but casual sex". Especially when I explicitly wrote in my bio that I'm not interested in a sex-only relationship, they still swiped right on me and tried to pressure me into "trying it" claiming that they're so good is sex. Yeah, sure. You're sooooo good that even women who are looking for something casual want nothing to do with you so you're here whining and begging.

I mean, it's gotta be a mental illness, right? My first bf did the exact same shit and I later found out that he's schizophrenic, the same as his mother. He made up elaborate stories for somewhat insignificant stuff. Like, instead of telling that he's late because his bus was late, he talked about the bank robbery and how he was interviewed and I'll see it in the evening news etc. Obviously there wasn't any bank robberies in our city for the last couple of decades.

Men like this are so funny tbh. They don't want to spend even a cent on a date, but still want to hook up later. This results in them trying to make it seems like they're doing you a favour by viewing you as an "equal person" and not someone who's broke and dependant on men for money.

I'm not attracted to women, in a sexual way. So once I was on a date and we walked somewhere and a woman ran past us. She had like H size cups, or even bigger, and I looked at her with only thought of "Wow, wonder where she got her bra from, running like this and with no visible pain or discomfort" and a guy I was with immediately started commenting on her "huge bazookas" (his words) and tried to gaslight me into being bisexual and inviting a woman like this for a threesome. Yes! When I used to use tinder, I remember getting drunk sometimes and messaging a bunch of guys first. Not like "Hi, how are you" but some solid flirting and suggesting that I'm interested in them. Almost none of them replied with "Oh wow so happy a woman wrote me first", they still tried to act as if I had to prove my worth to have a conversation. Fuck men like this!

Lol so basically he lied to my friend about being infertile and they agreed on not "wasting money on condoms" and when she became pregnant 2-3 months later he said it was a miracle. To be fair, he's not a bad father now, but their daughter is almost 3 and he sure didn't help during the most difficult parts. How do I know? Well, because I was there to help every day.

I look at famous men around this age (Paul Rudd, 52 or Hie-soon Park, 51) and average men of this age and I just don't get why they can't be like, normal? Being responsible, having some solid goals, trying to make life better etc. Like, I get it, not everyone was born privileged enough, but still, 50+ years is not the end, with a good regiment and lifestyle you can get and least 50 years more to live. But of course, they prefer to sit on a couch and whine about how it's women's fault their life …

A famous Russian actor died recently at the ripe age of 74 leaving a 3 (fucking THREE) y.o. child behind. His widow will sure have a great time explaining how come a poor kid has no father. Idk what's their thought process honestly. Like, how can you build a relationship when all your free time and money goes into games. Majority of men have such a low self-esteem and lack of empathy, they simply can't watch some piece of media without associating with the main hero. Idk why people, men especially, think that "someone has a fetish for it" is the highest form of an appraisal? Like telling a 200 lbs woman that she's "overweight" BUT a lot of men love BBW. Or sending a disabled person some porn featuring an actress with the same disability.

True! I'm always puzzled when people react to something that not applies to them, especially on dating apps. If a guy has "Blonde women only" in his bio, I simply swipe left, without wasting my time on debating him about hair colour and how his preferences are biased because I'm not blonde.

My messages were flooded this morning with scrotes lecturing me on how wrong my behaviour was and how dare I flirt with male colleagues when I'm *dating* someone. I really hope those men are just stupid and can't read, otherwise, the number of creeps thinking about me flirting with my own brother is nauseating.

All men in my family are 6' or more, so I can't imagine bringing a man insecure about his height to a family gathering, a poor lad will have his self-esteem spread on the ground 😂 😂 😂

Yeah, the idea of "surprising" someone by showing up at their workplace is 10/10 creepy af. But please don't worry, I have a mace and he also did't try to contact me since I blocked him. Probably got scared of being punched by my "chad" brother :D

Weebs and other kinds of Japanophiles are the whole another can of worms I'm not ready to open. My friend is 5'11 and she usually puts her height on dating apps as 5'7 and whenever she agreed to go on a date with guys who claimed they 6'1 or even more, always ended up in hilariously awkward situations because those guys were under 5'10 and lied hoping a 5'7 woman won't notice the difference.

One guy proudly told me that aCtUalLy Napoleon was quite tall, I laughed and asked him if he AcTuAllY googled it or just heard in some lame podcast for manly men and didn't bother to find out if it's true? Louis XVI was "quite tall", Napoleon wasn't, hence the name for the complex. But some people just prefer to live in their own bubble of delusion I guess.

My ex LOUDLY snored when I explained something to him (either a book or movie plot I found very interesting, don't remember exactly) and then obviously made fun of my bitter reaction and got offended that I didn't get the joke. For some guys, it really seems like a sexual fetish e.g. something they like only in the privacy of their own home while in public they feel "humiliated". And the funniest this is that I honestly don't care about the height difference, I had several relationships with men shorter than me and only one ended on a mutual agreement because of schedules conflict. The rest ended with me getting tired of constantly walking on eggshells trying not to "offend" them by being tall.

Ahah, true. A guy I dated in college once called me and listed all the "bad" things I did and how he planned to marry me if it wasn't for these things. I also noticed a lot of people referencing "Missing white woman syndrome" when talking about this case. I kinda got a general idea of what this "syndrome" means, from Wikipedia mostly, but still can't wrap my head around why some women still try to make this case less significant, because Gabby was white. Porn-consuming men assume, by default, that women love rough sex and it never occurs to them to actually ask "Hey, I like this and this, is it fine with you?" prior to sex. A few might ask in a process if you like it, but 9 times out of 10 they just assume that women enjoy this and if his dick is inside you, it means consensual.

This. When I was younger it kinda hurt a lot, when I tried to talk to a guy and he treated me like an empty space and then drooled all over some hot skinny blonde. FDS taught me that only men, who bring nothing to the table, are the ones who constantly complain about how unfair society is. Men, who work hard, have a good heart and take care of others while expecting nothing back, never think like this. Because society treats them good in return.

I have a funny story about #3 and 4 combined. Travelled with my ex once, and we decided to use public transport. A bus fee in that country was extremely small, like 1/5 of a dollar. I always pay fees tbh, never occurs to me to have a free ride. My ex said that it's stupid and since the fee is so small, no need to pay. While we argued, the conductor came. So my ex literally turned away and pretended to be deaf and mute while I dealt with paying a fine FOR BOTH of us. Later that day some drunk guy…

My dad doesn't understand feminism but always warns me about the danger of other men. Yes, that was my initial point! I always share food and expect people to take it, and act like a surprised Pikachu meme when I don't get the same in return, especially from a man on a date, ESPECIALLY after he grabbed a big chunk of my food.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy20/08/21 07:58 AM

Sorry, English is not even my second language so sometimes I can't express what I truly mean with a proper wording :( You obviously not obliged to offer food if you don't want to share and really expect them to say "no", fake politeness sometimes is much worse than no manners at all.

Honestly, idk, can't see any manipulation in this. If you're offered a bag of crisps, you can either decline or take 1-2 pieces. But it's really rude to grab half a packet. Also, context is important. You obviously don't need to offer food to some random people on a bus, but when it's a date and you ordered different things it kinda comes naturally to offer a bite, especially when you want to try your date's dish as well. For me, it's some sort of an unconscious practice at this point. Obviously…

My mum thought me from an early age to always offer food I'm having. She also said that a polite person will always politely decline (if it's not a homeless or a starving person, of course). I'm tall, so 99% of backhanded compliments I get are something like "You're so pretty, even with your height" or "Wow, wearing heels? So brave, but probably hard to find an equal guy". When it comes from a man who's smaller than me, I simply crouch down a little, smile and ask him to repeat because I didn't hear it the first time. To be fair, I'd avoid hiking even with my own family, because I loathe this activity so much :D A friend of mine went on a "surprise" first date once. He took her to an escape room, for some horror quest. 5 minutes later she realises that he did that so he could grope her in the darkness while pretending to be frightened. She "accidentally" kicked him in the groin when an actor jumped to scare them.

As a one-time thing it's okay, I guess (if you're comfortable going to some remote location with a stranger) but some men quickly realise that it's a perfect excuse not to spend money. This guy I've mentioned above even tried to shame me by calling me fat and lazy when I refused to "walk in a park" as a third date in a row and suggested a cafe.

Gosh, I hate walks. Like, I'm not lazy, but the concept of just moving without a destination makes my bones itch. I once tried to go on several dates with a guy, who's hobby was hiking, but realised how stupid this is (no offence to people who like hiking, just don't make it a sole activity for a date, jeez). You can't really talk, because either your pace isn't slow enough or you're distracted by the wind and other noises. You also have to either eat at home prior to this "date" or bring food/w…

Oof. In my opinion, Depp's career was long over before he met Heard. A lot of his co-workers and assistants reported that he became a total mess. Showed up drunk on set, refused to memorize the script and demanded someone dictating his lines through an earpiece etc. I think the whole "domestic violence" situation between them is an ill-executed PR campaign. Common men talked a lot about how #metoo ruined actors' lives but Kevin Spacey is quietly returned to his work, Cosby was released and plans…

Yes, exactly this. You probably can use it one time, as a sort of a test, to see his reaction. I had a couple of situations, but with friends, where some misunderstanding happened, screenshots helped to resolve it, and everyone remained calm and friendly.

Exactly. Now I know this, but before I genuinely believed that it's a misunderstanding and maybe he forgot, so when I show him his exact words as confirmation, it'll clear everything. Yeah, one of the biggest mistakes in my past.

His reply "But it's the first time I'm ever late, don't make it such a big deal" got me even more angrier because he was late all the time. 10-15-20 minutes, never on time. Tbh it's a big red flag. Yeah, it's one thing when people have some difficulties or disabilities preventing them from passing driving test. When I started using Tinder, a lot of my friends told me that I need to swipe on not very handsome men (especially fat ones). But, shockingly, ugly men on Tinder want to date at least supermodels. Recently I read an article about how dating apps are designed to make sure people stay single and hooked up on the app, and it kinda makes sense. But facing delusional men, who list you all your "flaws" while looking like a sack of mouldy potatoes, felt like a cold shower at the time.

I was quite shocked the last couple of weeks because the weather was hot (+35°C compared to a normal 20-23°C for this time of year) and I never met so many stinking men before. Cheapskates are the worst, mostly because they make "being frugal" their whole personality and give you long-ass lectures when you buy a new dress, but even worse, they have no outlook. I met men like this, and their excuse is always "But you're so quite! I just don't want to sit in an awkward silence". And I still don't understand what's wrong with it and why some men need a non-stop conversation flow. Especially when you're in a bar or in the middle of consuming a meal.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy01/07/21 06:50 AM

Same. Post-USSR men are the worst, because after WWII women had next to no choice in husbands and were ready to endure anything in order to get married and avoid divorce, and this mentality somehow still alive and boys are raised as if they're kings and it's every woman's biggest joy to serve them. And when they face reality of women looking at them with disgust instead of worship they turn into angry bitter incels.

Well, maybe it's fine for some people, but for me a man, who just finished a full meal, trying to push more food into his mouth just because "he's paying for it" a bit weird. Especially if that's something like burger or pizza — food that I didn't cut with cutlery but bit directly. I lived in China for some time, during the one-child policy, and it was horrible in terms of trying to make some friends for language improvement. I had a big growth spurt when I was 13-14, became like 5'6 and maybe put an inch during the rest of puberty, so it was so confusing being told all my childhood that supermodels are so desirable by men, and clothes look great on tall and skinny women etc. And when I actually started dating men, turns out they all want someone around 5'. One of the examples in the article above is Woody Allen, who brushed off r*pe accusations by saying "Oh, I don't even remember what I had for breakfast today!" and everyone let it slide. There's a thing called a Kafkaesque nightmare when a person finds themselves in a situation where everyone knows the rules and how to behave,…

No, my comment was purely an example of shitty people (99% sure it was a man tho) who just went and showed everyone her nudes just to hurt her, or maybe "punish" for having an OF account. And how some women really don't even think about such scenarios when selling nudes. With the boyfriend(s) situation, you at least have a "culprit"? I think it was one Skam episode when a guy threatened to show everyone girl's nudes but she told him that it's basically distributing of p*rn and he'll get prison t…

Yes, yes, yes! I say it every time in discussions like this, but short men only pretend that they don't care. And if you're taller than him, sooner or later all his insecurities and childhood traumas will resurface and you gonna be the one getting punished for that. I'm 5'7 and rarely meet men who taller than me. And wherever I tried to "look past the looks" it backfired and had to deal with a 25 y.o. toddler who's mad you wore high heels instead of ballet flats.

I follow one tattoo artist on insta, and one day she posted really disturbing stuff in her stories, talking about su*cide. Turns out somebody paid for her Onlyfans in order to save all photos and videos and later send them to all her friends and family. And they didn't even blackmail her like "Pay me or I'll distribute these photos", no, they literally just sent them around for "fun". And since she's covered in very unique tattoos, obviously people know it's her and not some random nudes this gu…

There's a flashmob in the Russian twitter segment, called #нюдсочетверг (nudes Thursday), it's exactly what the hashtag says: people (well, 99% of them are women, obviously) sharing their nude photos with captions about empowerment, body positivity, liberation etc. It started as a good cause to support Russian artist Yuliya Tsvetkova, she's being prosecuted for the vulva drawings (it was deemed as 'pornography'), but soon turned into a bizarre weekly pickme competition where some women criticize…

It always amuses me when men suddenly treat a movie as if it's a documentary when there's a female lead. A mentally ill guy can perfectly shoot people while they run? Totally believable. A guy fails to defend himself or his family when two thieves break into his suburban home but then suddenly turns into a skilled killer to avenge them? Yes, happens all the time. But if a FEMALES can defend themselves in a movie it's suddenly feminist propaganda and pandering and unrealistic and poor quality cin…

Shout-out to my years in middle school when I thought I'm a transman. Hated "girly" clothes, wore a binder, talked in a masculine way etc. Tuned out it was just internalized misogyny because I thought that everything associated with womanhood was inferior. Sadly, from that, I jumped straight into a "pick me" attitude and still considered femininity "inferior", but only in an attempt to impress men with my "low-maintenance" and "not like other girls". Stories like this always remind me of one episode from "Unbreakable Kimmy Shmidt" where Kimmy's friend decided to make her own cult, but with teenagers as her "husbands". It was presented as a funny skit where boys only played video games and demanded food, and she did endless laundry and cleaning and realised it was nothing like she imagined. Also, quite a common thing I noticed in some people (mostly LVM): do something nobody asked you to do, and on top of that, do it bad. So when next time yo…

I might be wrong, but I never met a guy who idolized Joker (played by Joaquin Phoenix) because he was "just like him". Do you have a special word for men like this? In Russian, we call them "medicine leaflet" because when you buy a drug, there's a huge piece of paper inside that tells you all the negative effects etc. So men, who write essays about what qualities a woman needs to possess in order to be suitable for him, associates with this leaflet: a ton of useless info that I'm not going to be bothered to read.

Men like this are calling us "gold diggers" but can't see past the money themselves, lol. Of course, it's not about taking her out on luxurious dates daily, but I'm pretty sure the real reason he chooses what to order is because she once ordered something "expensive" and he made a scene like a baby.

Disgusting. And a lot of men still have the audacity to say that women can call anyone a rapist this day and ruin a man's career with false accusations.

Oh dear. So sorry to hear about your friend.

You'll be surprised by the amount of men who fall for anything as long as there's a dangling promise of sex or at least nudes. Majority of men only pretend to hate places like onlyfans, being mad that women make money and talking how there's terabytes of free porn but still ready to pay.

Men like this are angry because they know that women love nice guys, not """""nice""""" ones. So instead of improving themselves they prefer to blame women and make up strawman arguments and stupid fake-ass stories about how a woman rejected them but later regretted her decision and tried to win them back.

A lot of my friends complain that on Tinder they have to constantly entertain women, initiate conversations, ask questions etc. And if they don't, women simply stop replying and never write first. But it's the same with most men. Especially with ones who got brainwashed with "women want bad guys, nobody likes nice guys" bs so they act like it's a privilege for you to get a match with them. And when it backfires their conclusion somehow "Females are stupid, don't know what they want!".

Whisper... Rings some bells. Wasn't it initially an app to share secrets and confessions and app automatically choose a background picture for your text?

Yep. My friend always talked about how she met her husband on Tinder and how great he is and got mad at me when I said that he's not. Now, 3 years and 1 child later, I obviously have no heart to remind her "I told you so" when she complains about how he does nothing except working all day but they barely scrape any money and his top "dad moment" is spending 5 min with his daughter while muy friend takes quick shower.

I saw a lot of guys there with offers to travel or to go to a movie that came out last year, meaning they didn't even bother to update their profile. Worst case for me was meeting a guy when I was 18, to find out that his tinder pics are almost a decade old. Damn you film camera filters! I really thought it was the case. But nope, instead of a handsome 22 y.o. boy I met a balding 32 y.o. man who's whole agenda was "Well, you're legal so there's nothing wrong with it". Yeah, no.

My mother's side of the family are all from Poland and I audibly clenched my jaw while reading your comment. Also what's with all those IT guys bragging about their money? And I yet to meet one who actually spends them. Not on dates, but in general. Almost all of ones that I met wear old clothes and live in dirty apartments literally with computer, couch and a fridge.

Oof. I was kind tempted before, ngl, but only because of unlimited right swipes option. But one of my male friend said that it's probably an algoritm that shows you popular users first so you obviously swipe those handsome lads right and reach a limit and now Tinder will nag you for the next 12 hours to buy premium.

To be honest, I don't think that if a guy plans something like this, he will invite a total stranger. Or he really stupid and won't take into the account that women never go anywhere without texting the address to all of their friends. I think only in stupid TV series, written by men, women go out without telling anybody.

My justification for going back there was something like "Well, I'm a normal person, right? Not a deviant or a jobless deadbeat. Sure there's a lot of great people just like me, just with XY chromosomes instead of XX".

Yep. Some men be like "She got killed because she went out and met a stranger. Never do that, unless this stranger is me. I'm a good guy and how dare you to assume that I want to harm you! You must trust me!"

I think it depends on culture. As far as I'm aware, in many countries Tinder is an app for quick hook up with someone nearby (hence geolocation search), but in countries like mine Tinder and similar apps are not frowned upon as places to meet friends or long-lasting relationships. For example, Bumble will never be a thing here because no Russian woman will text a man first))

Also funny when they start to complain about being scammed and catfished. Like, sweetie, women have nothing do to with it, you got fooled by another man, who just figured out a smarter way to use tinder by pretending to be a hot young woman who wants to have sex with you, a mediocre man, but needs just a little bit of financial help. That's on you, mate.

I look back at my some of my meetings with guys from Tinder and think "Damn, God really is a woman and that's why I'm still alive". If you bored at home and there's a lockdown in your country, I think it can work. I work full-time in the office and have like 1-1.5 hours a day to chat with somebody, and also don't use a phone after 10PM. First two days after downloading tinder I got almost a 100 matches but zero messages, got a bit sad about it (it was Wednesday), continued to swipe and Saturday …

Yeah! Forgot to mention that in the middle of his rant he tried to "sugarcoat" it with something like "If it's an issue, you can totally bring your female friends with you!". Oh, really mate? How about I bring my 6'4 brother with me? No? But he loves boardgames!

I think, in general, there's nothing wrong with drinks per se. At least my idea of "to drink" is to go to a nice bar, have one cocktail and go home. But yeah, I understand what you mean.

What a tool! You know how in some restaurants a waiter purposely gives the bill to a man, not even putting it on a table. My friend once went out with a guy and this happened. And of course he "forgot" his wallet, but he asks my friend to discretely give him her money, under the table, so no one would notice, and then proceeded to pretend that he pulled them out from his pocket and was paying the bill.

A friend of mine was killed by his own brother, for money. Told about this to one guy I've been talking to and kinda fancied. His reply? "Oh, bet you wished you were there when he died so you could grab his money and run". I type this rn, almost 15 years after this happened, and still can't believe someone actually not only formed this thought but also proceeded to say it out loud. And, obviously, laugh after seeing my face and saying "It's a joke, just want to cheer you up!".

That's why I won't even bother anymore debating with people like this. Like, once, in a similar sub, someone wrote that men can't have safe spaces because women are "triggered". I replied with links to news articles where men stormed women-only co-working space and threatened violence and force this place to shut down. Asked if someone could share a link to a similar story but involving women. And obviously, I got downvoted. Just because I presented facts that contradicted their female-hating na…

Funny thing: I'm not allowed to drop by to see one of my friends when I'm walking out my dog, because when her husband was 5 y.o. he got scared (not even physically attacked) by a dog and now is deadly afraid of any canine-like creatures. And everyone respects this fear and I never heard anybody ridiculing him or asking what he did to provoke the dog. But I'm yet to see people treating women who were abused by men and who get cautious and paranoid around men. It's always "Yeah, but what did you …

Funny how remarks about "biologically deterministic language" only appear when talking about female spaces. Men can have their own inclusive spaces and nobody bats an eyelid.

Amuses me every time when I read comments here, because all matches my experience almost a 100%. I chatted with a guy who pretended to be really concerned about this pandemic, talked about being empathetic towards people who lost their loved ones, about donating money to help nurses etc. But he probably was so delusional about his good virtues himself, forgot not to post in his insta stories all the parties he went to.

Ugh, same. And some men even had the audacity to ask me to get on pill because "condoms are expensive". Like, are you gonna pay for them pills? No? Oh, you graciously offering me to pay 50/50, how marvellous. Go buy yourself a fleshlight.

I bet 100$ that this "journalist" is a man with a small pp and addiction to violent porn but also wastes all his money on onlyfans in order to pretend that those women like him. Also, love how it's all completely out of context. We don't want to be free psychologists, catch some nasty shit or end up a single mother because ya'll broke and addicted to роrn, and it's labelled 'misandry'? Well, call me Khaleesi then because this Missandei-ry is never leaving my side!

His "argument" was that if I agreed to have sex in a first place, means that I'm "clean" (his exact word). Like, he legitly thought that people with HIV, AIDS or other illnesses simply live in celibacy.

Precisely. Idk about other cultures, but in mine (post-USSR countries) giving oral is very degrading because it's rooted in prison culture. And men like this see no difference between going down on men or women, all ends up with you called "fаggоt".

I think almost everyone here met a man like this. Talking about how all the men before him "didn't know how to properly do it", bragging about how he'll make you cum 1000 times over and proceeded to shove his fingers in as a "foreplay" and then jackhammering for couple minutes)))

I read an interesting article, but it was ages ago so probably won't find a link, but general idea was about how sex always puts men in dominant position, even if it's femdom and men being submissive, it's still comes down to a woman doing exactly what this man loves and not giving her any real power and she still ends up vulnerable.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy04/03/21 01:01 PM

Exactly! The whole "jUsT cOMmuNiCatE!" approach always baffles me. Like, if I understand right and wrong, how a man, who's my age or a bit older, doesn't?

The problem is that "incеl" stopped being about only sex a long time ago, and now it's mostly about hаting wоmеn. And people like this associate FDS with hаting mеn and draw a conclusion.

I finally stopped getting sad when my friend talked about her a m a z i n g life. Reading FDS made me realize that she just constantly needs reassurance that she's thriving, but apparently, nothing indicates this so she feels the urge to constantly brag. Also realized that value rank applies to all people, not only romantic or sexual partners, and cut off a lot of LV or NV friends (women and men).

It's always funny when they say "oh, X is just a female equivalent of Y". Especially comparing to incel movement, which was founded by a woman, btw, with a good purpose, until it was hijacked by a bunch of misogynistic twats, thinking they're entitled to sex.

25th birthdays are cursed! Mine was shit as well. My ex made a huge deal about hating his birthday and cautioned me to not congratulate him, let alone buy a gift. Well, I ain't your psychiatrist, mate. So I said that I like celebrating my birthday, it's at the end of May, the weather is always great etc. We went for a trip to Germany, I wrote a list of things I wanted to do, he was reluctant about almost all of them. Love this sub so much, because every time I think "probably nobody ever does that" and here's a post about LVM doing the same thing that my ex did. Even more, when I said, several times, that it's actually (a) looks very stupid of him walking 2-3 meters ahead of me and (b) kinda hurts my feelings, he simply pretended that he has no idea wft am I talking about. Further, when we rode a subway or any other public transport, he stood either the same 2-3 meters from me, or, if it was packed, faced ot…

I honestly never men a man, who 5'7 or less and genuinely don't care about it. Usually, men like this are bullied in school, by taller boys, and somehow keep this grudge and bring into adulthood, and, even worse, in relationships. I'm 5'7 myself and wear high heels most of the time, and men, who are smaller than me, only talk about how they don't care and how it's cool if their girlfriend is taller, how all supermodels are tall yada yada. But in reality, I can see how gradually they become more …
