I don't know. That would be really hard to study! I can only speak from personal experience and my own limited perception. I wish I were a therapist!

"I'm going to the gym" "but you never spend time with me" (having done so all week). Attempts at self-improvement are normally obvious - working on physicality, changing diet, being socially adventurous, reading (I got 'told off' for reading sometimes). This used to happen quite frequently. Now that I put my self-development first (above the demands of my wife - and they are demands, not needs), I have a much more comfortable place in the relationship. It's a pattern I think you'll notice in any…

You never hear about sex as a focal point in therapy practise. Correct me if I'm wrong. Sex motivates people. It makes them groom, train, confront their fears, change their habits, self-analyse, and obsess over social status and personhood. As a man, it's literally your main purpose in life - to spread your seed, get it into the most fertile and healthy woman possible, and raise a strong child who can do the same at least as effectively as you. Obviously, TRP is not focused on the latter, and ty…

Any therapy that does not red-pill you in some way is not therapy, it's counselling. Depressed people are either ignorant of their problems or ignorant of the solutions. The goal of therapy is to teach you that these are the same thing. 'Truth' is obstacle turned into action through reason. TRP is therapy, but unique in that it takes male suffering to it's biological impetus.

I just cut weed right down (went dankrupt) and it's like 6 hours just got added to my day. Admittedly it does make workouts easier, as well as regulating my moods and staying motivated, but eventually those things will evolve out of your brain chemistry. My advice is use it as a crutch for now, inasmuch as you find it motivating, but always be consciously reducing your usage and replacing with success habits. Maybe after you're where you want to be you'll continue to use recreationally, maybe no…

As an intellectual, married, autistic lurker, I just thought I'd pop my head up and say that TRP is NOT intellectual. It's about moral action. Or let's just say, about action. Mentally ill people like myself have brain abnormalities (or suffered bad parenting) that have damaged the socialisation process. We need TRP to show us why sitting at home and spinning theories doesn't get you anywhere in life, or as TRP would say, in pussy. Yes, they are hard on trans people and other abnormals, but that…

There are capable female CEOs. They just can't find partners.

According to our evolved biological nature, assuming a person tries not to cover it up with some sort of ideology, or have it warped through faulty role models. But I think there is another level, that the vast majority of people never achieve. You're touching on Jungian psychology here. When motivated by the spirit that animates us, we are in touch with our feminine aspects (the anima, as men) and women who reach this stage are in touch with their masculine side, or animus. It's not true just f…

'Nice guys' are in denial of the fact that all humans who are not worker ants are essentially sociopaths

For those interested in personality theory: Sociopaths score very low on trait Agreeableness (giving a shit about people and being considerate) add in low Conscientiousness (duty, social carefulness, low scores associated with ADHD) and high Neuroticism (sensitivity to negative emotion, understands the dark nature of reality, quick to understand what hurts them and therefore others) and you have your typical criminal psychopath. They might also have high Openness (creative intelligence) particul…

The more aware you are, of yourself and where you came from, of nature, your species, and your environment, the more capable you are of climbing dominance heirarchies.

Glad you mentioned this. ADHDers (~5% prevalence) are civilisation's explorers, and suffer the most out of everyone in our superstimulatory culture.

What up! I've been reading pickup for years and recently got into the TRP 'debate' if you'd call it that. Maybe 'cult' is better... I find it brings a lot the the 'social camouflage' we put on. I also study body language and psychology, and TRP is the icing on the cake. Social situations are still hard in that they take additional concentration and I take note of the slip-ups but accept them and learn each time. Proud to bring some nerd to this sub.

Tesla famously said "If you want to find the secrets of the universe, think in terms of energy, frequency and vibration." You could apply this to almost anything. But, well done, I guess.

The relative percentage of aspies on this sub must be pretty damn high, let's be fair.

Exceptions, for reference: skydiving, tightrope, piloting, birthday parties, suicide.
