When I hear first dates going like this, I cringe. Why? Because more often than not, these end with the whole post-sex regret by the women. I never do sex on first date, but then I'm not probably not the best person to take advice from. However if I were you, the first thing I'd do is follow up and make sure she's still good. I'd give her a call today and see if you can set something up for the weekend. If she's good, she'll say yes. If not, you won't hear from her again.

Your advice is something many newcomers fall for. My first girlfriend (who I met using advice from Seddit) was engaged not once but twice and after the second engagement was called off, attempted to commit suicide and was in a coma for a few months. Having never had a girlfriend and this girl was pretty much flinging herself at me, I ended up getting involved and feelings evolved. I quickly learned that yes some relationships are definitely not worth it despite how appealing it can be for those …

It doesn't look like I'll be getting a second date...so far she hasn't responded to my text yesterday and she's a big texter so I know she's seen it. Despite her problem, it still sucks to not get a second date because I really liked her. Guess this means I'll be going out clubbing tonight...

Eh my response rate is pretty fair though I find the problem is more about women who don't really fully engage. I don't tend to waste much time with those...my rule is I ask for the phone number on my 3rd message. They either give it to you or they don't respond, in which case they're not worth my time. As for opening on IM, it's actually very rare to catch a women on IM. In this case, I had actually sent her an email message first after I saw her look at my profile twice. She didn't respond but…

I will tell you right now that I had the EXACT same problem getting physical that you do. Unfortunately this was my parent's fault (super religious and taught that women were sacred and not to be touched...imagine how fucked I was with women before Seddit haha). Anyhow whatever the reason, getting touchy with women is not difficult. If you have not read the DiCarlo Escalation Ladder, go do that right now and print out a copy to take with you everywhere. It tells you exactly what to do and once y…

I agree but with one exception...I would not recommend taking half a year off work. Employers tend to frown when there's a gap like that between jobs...I mean, how does your next employer know that you're not gonna randomly leave one day for a 6 month break? I'm not saying don't take a break (because it probably would be really healthy for the OP) but know that taking a break is going to cause extra questions to come up in future jobs interviews.

It's all about priorities. You have a good paying job so if money is your priority, then congratulations...but I don't think that's the case. I'm 23 as well and honestly I get paid about $10-15k less than others in my field with my degree (in IT). However I work 40 hours a week...period. I'm also paid hourly so in the unlikely event I'm asked to work a single hour more, I get nice overtime pay. If what is important to you is meeting people and personal time, then you have to make sacrifices. It …

I've heard "no" works wonders...if that doesn't work "get the f*ck away from me, creep/gramps" has a pretty good chance of working.

I have to agree with incorrect_scientist on this one, though the way he said it was kinda over the top. The fact of the matter is yes you date-raped someone. You admit she was "very drunk" yet you chose to escalate things to that level knowing her condition. You made a bad mistake, there's nothing you can do about it now. I truly wish I could tell you everything is gonna be alright and that it's ok but the truth is that at this point, the absolute best thing you can do is learn from your mistake…

I only wish I had a personality like his that could pull his stunt off...and actually he may have just got lucky. I feel like if I walked up to some random person on the street and did that, I'd probably get socked in the face...

DLV? First thing that came to mind was Drivers License Verification and I have no idea why. My comment is worthy of a downvote for fail imo.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
