No I wouldn't because I've had experiences where girls have said they weren't interested and I didn't get pissed at them. I just said OK and moved on.

What pisses me off is she doesn't have the common fucking courtesy to say that to me. She decides to ignore me instead. That online dating allows people to treat others like shit.

Ok I gave it another shot. What do you think? More work to do? Am I headed in the right direction at least? "Not really sure what say here but here goes. I'm not a big fan of hanging out at bars so that makes it a lot harder to meet girls. So I figured why not give this a shot. Plus, I feel like I'm doing you girls a disservice by not making myself more available to you. Yes if you haven't figured it out already, being sarcastic and making arrogant, ridiculous statements is one of my favorite th…

Thanks for the feedback. Yeah I don't think I've put enough time and effort into really crafting something that's funny and makes me more relatable. I'll probably check out some other guys' profiles to get some ideas too.

I don't think it's that your a sleaze necessarily but I have to think when your communicating intent to someone in that situation, it can probably look pretty sleazy and doing that in a workplace setting is definitely not a good idea. Yeah like Yetzirah said, I need to get better at game so I can do it in subtle ways. I mean if you work at the same place for a while it's a much different situation that meeting someone at a bar or club. Patience has to be a huge part of the approach because going…

I think your right about the scarcity mentality and that I need to look in other places but I disagree that work is off limits. If I do approach a girl, I'll definitely be on my toes and be mindful of the stakes. Also, I don't have any reason to believer her co-workers are spiteful hags. Not sure what type of people you work with but that seems like a generalization that doesn't have any merit.

Yeah, I wouldn't mess around with someone who's a manager or higher up than me. That's just asking for trouble imo.

No there's a common dining hall but lots of people eat at their desk too so that might not be a possibility. If they do go, it may be difficult to meet them because I'll have to figure out when they go to there but that's a definite possibility. It's kind of hilarious because there's a girl who works in this one office with a couple other women and I'd really like to talk to her but all I seem to be able to do when I see her is smile and say "hi". The opportunity to have an actual conversation h…

Yeah, I'll do that. I know better but she's kind of hot so I was hoping she'd warm up to me more but I still am inexperienced and a pretty big chump tbh. Not that putting myself down is good, I'm just stating a fact.

What do you mean "the usual sketchy places"? Can you point me in the right direction of where I could find it?

Yeah I know it is but I have had a lot of negative experiences in my past that have done some damage to my perception of it. When I feel someone getting bored or disinterested with me, it pisses me off and makes me want to stop trying. I also feel like I don't have a lot of life experiences that help me relate to people in a way that they might find interesting. I just think I'm a boring person. I have good moments and I can definitely be witty and clever but it's hard to do that when you feel l…

I have gone out alone to bars, not really clubs because there aren't any close by where I live, and it's usually a pretty awkward experience that doesn't last long. I'll stay if there's a football game on or something else I want to watch because I don't have cable but if there isn't then just sitting there and drinking a beer or whatever just feels ridiculous. I just get bored and self-conscious so I typically leave and go home.

Thanks for the advice. Yeah I've been doing the NoFap thing for a while now, just fell of the wagon, so to speak, after 52 days. It sucks but I'll get back on track. I guess I still feel uncomfortable approaching strangers by myself but I know I have to get over that. I guess part of the reason I get anxious about it is that I know first impressions are important so I always worry that I'm going to come off lame. Still, I can't control other people's thoughts so I guess I'll just have to deal wi…

Hey, I liked what you said but I could use a little more advice for my situation. Right now I'm unemployed. I've been going on some interviews and I'm pretty optimistic about getting a job soon. One of the big problems is I don't go a lot of places besides the gym to workout and to the store when I need to get some food. I also don't have many friends. Although I have met a couple people that I've been hanging out with so I'm getting out a little more but it seems to be difficult to find people …

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
