men who are high maintenance especially because that means he prioritises grooming and fitness such as good eating habits, hygiene, regular haircuts, skincare regime and manicures & pedicures (it’s usually just clear polish and probably not noticeable unless you’re actually looking for it and i do look at a man’s hands because i think it says a lot about his grooming habits and i’m highly attracted to men who take pride in their appearance & men who present themselves well in the way they dress.…

oooh yeah that’s a tricky one! personally, i’ve been working really hard to continue to improve my SMV and it’s been working for me.. so far kinda haha. i’ve started attracting the kind of guys i actually like: tall, masculine in demeanour, kind, gentlemanly, curly hair (very specific, i know) and have good careers! and the competition is stiff omg 🫣 i just tell myself whenever i have to do something "my competition is not resting and neither will i 🙅🏼‍♀️" and it gets me moving and in the gym 😂……

Not OP but very curious about your response to the OP. How do you link your sexual attraction to the treatment you receive when you don’t experience attraction in that way? I don’t struggle with the same issue as OP necessarily, but I find that despite how well a man may treat me… if the sexual attraction is not there, i just cannot proceed. i’ve tried and it always ends up with me hurting them bc they feel led on… so i’m curious to understand what you mean when you say it takes a lot of work an…

i’m curious to know why you care? like whether woman are happier or not when being single, why does this matter to men? this is a genuine question btw bc as a woman, i don’t think women (maybe just me) really care that much if men are happier or not when they’re single so why do men care so much about this particular thing… that doesn’t really concern them?

i do sort of understand where you are coming from as a woman who loves fashion too. the way a man dresses and presents himself to the world is important to me. i make an effort and i expect the same from a partner but tbh if it was just his rave outfit and you like how he dresses on a day to day basis, i think it’s best to just get over it.

for me, it was neglect and an inattentive father. i knew something wasn’t right when all my "healthy stable home" friends wouldn’t even consider dating men more than 3 years older than them.

women with daddy issues. i used to be attracted to older men, i went to therapy and also my dad became very present in my life now… and just like magic, older men are revolting to me now. most women who are mentally healthy don’t jump into relationships with older men 🤷‍♀️

whatever makes you feel better about your shortcomings 😎. i admire my dad: he’s my definition of a real man! wealthy, has nice cars, provided a good life for his kids, sent us all overseas to study and is still married to my mom who respects him, loves him and has been loyal ever since they were teenagers. maybe he’s a beta but he’s more of a man than you’ll ever be 🥰.

i don’t agree with the red pill on this topic because any girl with a present father, the father always pushes her to have her own career and work towards something, why? my dad is a provider man with conservative values, etc but has always emphasised how important education and career is. he doesn’t even want me to get married until i have built a stable life for myself and he’s made this abundantly clear. he has sacrificed insane amounts of time and money to put me through school… so somebody …

😂😂 since you don’t know how to read: i said i secretly had a tiny crush on him. it wasn’t anything major, just thought he was kinda cute and friends have conversations about their love lives. it’s normal to exchange information.

men who chase women are unattractive. i once (secretly) had a tiny crush on a guy and we’d hang out sometimes as friends, however he was into another girl and there was a day he showed me his messages with her where he sent her like 15 messages and got no response after she stood him up 😩 never spoke to him again after that, it was a bit repulsive, and giving big loser energy. once you see the loser in a man, you can never unsee it lol.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/12/23 12:56 PM

i have a friend who experiences men who reject her or try get with her friends because they feel like they can’t attain her. they even go as far as telling people they don’t think a girl like her would go for them. it’s strange behaviour

the most beautiful part about this is how you stated a man’s penis and sexual gratification will always come first and the first 2 comments below your comment basically say how a man will leave or get sad if he doesn’t get sex…. proving you right 😩

yes i do think it will change significantly. the reason the dating market is the way it is because men don’t have standards and find joy in telling everyone that they just want sex all the time with anything and everything and how they’re so lonely and nobody wants them. how do you expect women to take you seriously? people abuse vulnerability. it’s easier to fake feelings for a guy who is desperate because he’d believe and eat up whatever you said and fall in love quickly and when a man loves y…

tbh idc about age gap relationships but in the same way older men toss aside older women in favour for younger women is the same way younger women toss aside older men in favour of younger men. i dated an older man, not proud of it but tbh i cheated on him with guys much younger than him when he had to travel during covid because his younger brother passed away (i don’t think he ever found out i did) and it made me realise that older men have nothing to offer, at least to me, it was more fun and…

thanks for sharing! i haven’t noticed the age difference yet too, i think i’m wondering if he’ll be able to lead the relationship in ways that i would appreciate but i guess that comes with time and trust anyways. ohhh i’m sure you’ll be fine, my mom had 2 kids between her late 30’s and early 40’s and they were both healthy pregnancies. wishing you the same luck! ☺️

hmm i think you’re on to something 😞. although, i must admit i was attracted to him, but he’s younger than me - 20. i just turned 22. i sort of feel bad because he did text me 3 times apologizing but i was a bit hurt and pulled the trigger. i think i understand what you mean by the hamster wheel because a part of me did wish that he would have tried to reschedule our call but i think maybe he’s just not that interested. we live and we learn, i won’t be so strict next time haha.

I think you made some good points but I couldn’t help but notice you made them from the angle that she wouldn’t be able to find a good guy again/ implied that she shouldn’t leave her relationship because she could end up in a toxic one. as a young woman i’m optimistic about dating now because of learning about TRP and how men think. i want to avoid these men at all costs and now i know how to vet and what signs to look me, i didn’t know all this 2 years ago and i probably would have made a huge mistake. glad i became aware at 21 and not 31 and i know what to look for in the right man thanks to RPW and it’s teachings which is totally opposite to TRP.

it’s not unreasonable, i don’t think so at least. think about it like this, men who do want children probably wouldn’t consider marriage with you but men who want to be providers but don’t want children will. if the dynamic works, then why not. in my culture, it’s almost obligatory for a man to be a provider. and the same for a women to take her of the home. i have an expectation to be provided for (i would like to work but i still want a provider) in the same way men who were raised with the sa…

that’s silly that people think the "lock and key allegory" is still a valid argument for this topic. keys can’t contract STD’s and get other people pregnant. humans are not objects and there’s consequences for reckless and hedonistic behaviour. a key can be replaced but you can’t replace your health, HIV is forever.

do things you enjoy, and help you develop into a well rounded, beautiful, kind and gentle and joyful individual. also do these things for yourself - to improve who you are as a woman at your core and not because the end goal is to find a husband - otherwise, the changes you make won’t stick once you get what you want. you want to be the same women 20 years into the marriage that you were when he first met you.

i think it has a lot more with me wanting to be more social and meet new people so i agree that dating might not be the best course of action. the only reason i considered dating just to pass time is because sometimes going on dates can be fun and i always hear people talking about how you should go on dates just for "practice" or to know what you like and what you don’t like. and i really like your suggestions and i’m actually starting a dance class soon! ☺️

Yeah… I believe in God and I agree that a marriage is meant to be enjoyed ☺️ You’ve brought up some good points, thank you for responding. My aunt didn’t wake up one day and decide to just leave, she stayed for 20+ years and her husband wasn’t a very nice person. He had anger issues, was malicious and didn’t treat her well. At least she tried. I think now she is able to find someone who will be good for her.

I think I have a decently realistic view of marriage, I have plenty of older women in my life who have been giving me advice and telling me their stories. I want a healthy, loving AND happy marriage that lasts. God says a marriage is to be enjoyed and there are plenty of people who are happily married and in love. That’s what I want. I have witnessed and seen bad marriages, I see how damaging it is. I believe a bad marriage will affect the way you raise your kids and feeds into the vicious cycle…

Marriage isn’t about happiness, you’re absolutely correct. But a marriage is meant to be enjoyed between a husband and a wife? I don’t know if I would classify the act of leaving under all the words you used. I think that’s a bit of an overreaction and oversimplification of something that’s much more complex.
/r/RedPillWomen03/09/23 01:37 PM

I hear you ☺️. I agree that it’s been made normal to dispose of people instead of trying to work through things but… but sometimes it might just be the wrong person, no? I think people might be more willing to work through things with the right person or build towards a better relationship with someone new.
/r/RedPillWomen03/09/23 01:32 PM

Why should a woman, who is stable and equipped to raise her own children, let another woman raise the children she gave birth to? I think people can co-parent healthily and I think it depends on peoples character and circumstances.

Oh.. I don’t agree with this at all but totally respect your opinion! I would never let my father, uncles, brothers, whoever choose a man for me. I want to make that choice for myself. I feel it’s a bit contradictory to state you cannot change a man but then insinuate that you should stay if he cheats, so you don’t break up the family… but the man has already damaged the foundation of the family?

I definitely understand what you’re trying to say and thank you for clarifying ✨ I guess I was more so coming from the stance of if the man doesn’t change his behaviour or doesn’t want to make the effort to change his behaviour or whatever it is that is making you unhappy and you’ve exhausted all your options. I hear you ☺️ I agree that marriage isn’t all rainbows and sunshine but what’s the difference between leaving because you’re being cheated on vs leaving because you’re unhappy? In both cases, the person is still unhappy and I feel unhappiness can breed resentment regardless of what caused it. I think my opinion on such situations is different because as a child of parents who stayed together… I can remember how many times I fell asleep as a child praying for them to get divorced. That’s fair! And what if you’re no longer getting those things from a partner you felt previously offered those things. Would you still stay?

Oh this was scary close to my life and some of my experiences!! I think my parents marriage aged my mom too. She was always under so much stress and heartbroken 🥺. Made her lose herself but she’s sort of coming into her own again and it’s beautiful witness. Thank you for sharing and I hope things in your family start looking up again 🤍

Interesting! Thank you so much for sharing. I love the accountability part and I actually agree. Sometimes people fail to take accountability for ignoring the signs, staying way too long. It’s hard to accept sometimes we played a hand in our own misery. I think vetting a man is a gamble and not as cut and dry as we’d like to think it is. I feel humans are too complex and fallible and sometimes people change over time for one reason or another. It’s hard to be 100% sure 😞

I really don’t appreciate you calling me naive and I just expressed that your response came off a bit patronising and unhelpful to me.

I find your response a bit patronising tbh and that wasn’t what I was asking. I wanted to know why I only get approached by older men predominantly and never guys my age but I hope your response made you feel better about yourself :)

I actually have been observing and one thing I noticed is that I probably don’t really present myself as best as I can and I need to change/put more effort into my appearance/style ASAP. I don’t wear makeup, like hardly ever bc I like my face without makeup but I probably should start wearing more natural looking type of makeup also I dress like everyone else but I think the clothes I wear aren’t flattering on my body type 🥲 so I am going to start to dress for my silhouette and see what happens.…

This was insightful, thank you. I personally wouldn’t date any man with children anyways because I would like my first child to also be my husbands first child. My mom said she sees me marrying a man who is much older than me and she tries to persuade me to consider dating older men again but I just don’t want to. A man in my age group sounds more fun and fulfilling and exciting and I want to be able to relate to him too. It’s just none of them want to get married haha. I hope if I can change up…

I did eventually but I experience the same thing in person. I feel that I am invisible to men in my age group. I totally understand what you’re saying but it feels a bit bad when I hear/see other girls my age get approached by guys our age.

I did filter out older men on dating apps eventually, but even in person it’s more likely that an older man will approach me than a younger guy and I don’t really understand why guys my age don’t approach me. I feel invisible to guys my age. I also don’t think older guys are desperate for approaching, there’s plenty of age gap relationships that have worked for other people but It’s very important to me that I have a husband who is able to be there to witness our children grow and be fully prese…

OP if less experienced guys feel ashamed about being with you then that means they are not the men for you, but you’re not doomed to dating older men because you have a past, that’s ridiculous. Plenty of men will still date you. To be honest OP, I’ve seen quite a few of your posts and they mostly all centre around the same topic of you being a high body count woman. I’m sensing it’s something you’re not proud of, I’d argue that’s a good thing. Your spirit is trying to tell you that it longs for …

But these have been men I am in a relationship with, it was only the one instance when we were not official and he told me he has a girlfriend so I’m not sure how act. I don’t do any of these things until they ask me to be their girlfriend but I think i’m not vetting properly in the first place

I’m sure there is but I’m struggling to put my figure on it. My dad is unfaithful to my mother, still to this day and I think I overcompensate a lot for the lack of love I felt from my dad. It also didn’t help that my mom was emotionally neglectful so my entire life I have felt like I had to "do" things to prove to people that I care about them because it’s the only way I got validation from my parents. I think I’m too clingy as well. I’m also hypersensitive and the smallest molehill can feel li…

I understand what you are saying and I do agree that I am a doormat. I’m trying not to be one though but I see that I still have so much more to work on. I don’t really date casually, at least it’s not my intention or I’m not aware I’m doing it. These are men that tell me they are committed to me and that they want to be with me. I don’t talk to ex’s, they somehow find a way to contact me again. Thank you for your honest comment, I agree with you even if it’s hard to hear. I need to stop being a…

I hope not? They are always nice to me and treat me well, I think it’s me accepting breadcrumbs, but then I find out there’s another girl or when I question them then they get really unkind

They are all different but all the same at the same time. Most times they do invest in me, they pay for the dates, they are consistent with text messages, they are kind, etc. They seem genuine and then I’m blindsided. I think I need to vet men for longer and not invest too much so quickly.

This is true. I think I’m not vetting properly or for long enough and I’m ignoring little signs that show up because I think I’m just being paranoid.

I actually don’t know. It’s always different but whenever they leave me for a certain girl, the relationship doesn’t last very long and I think that’s why they then come back. But then I notice that when they do come back, I don’t have feelings for them anymore/don’t trust them anymore and then it never works

This felt a bit like a punch in the throat but in a good way and now I sort of feel embarrassed by my behaviour. I do have a tendency to fall in love quickly and trust people quickly. I think because I know how I am, I just assume everyone is being honest about who they are too. The submission talk came up because we were having a conversation on what kind of relationship we were looking for and I mentioned I want to be with a man that will make me feel safe enough to feel like I can be myself n…

Can you expand on what you mean by raising my social value? I don’t stand out socially, I don’t think so. I’m definitely not the first person someone would notice if they walk into a room. I also don’t have any social media so it’s hard for me to connect with people whenever they ask for my social media but I could maybe try to create an instagram account and connect with people there too. Thank you for your suggestion, I could benefit from having more hobbies and working on myself more inwardly…

I don’t want to torture a guy who genuinely cares for me because of what past men did, I’m just scared of wearing my heart on my sleeve again and getting it broken. It takes so long to recover from and really stunts my productivity. It leaves me feeling not good enough. How can I prevent unconsciously punishing a guy that cares? I don’t want to be that jaded girl that doesn’t know how to love anymore, I actually refuse to be her because I know I want to love someone romantically but I seem to no…

We broke up because I wanted to talk about our future and and he got scared. He said he wants to focus on building a career for himself and doesn’t want to be distracted. To be honest, I don’t have any evidence that there was another woman. It was my intuition but the situation seemed so similar to what has happened previously to me and it was all so sudden and I just had a feeling. Also how he did it, like the past year we spent together meant nothing to him. He really hurt me with his words.

It just seems to happen so naturally by default 😩. I’m not aware that I’m doing it in the moment but I agree I may need to be more conscious to not over give so much before true commitment. Im a hyper sensitive person so I guess after I get left for another girl it hurts much more than it really should because I invested so much already.

After watching the video, I will have to agree with you that all my relationships tend to be like that! I’m the anxious partner and I am a bit clingy honestly, I have abandonment issues but because I feel I have been "abandoned" so many times I feel like it’s starting to give me trust issues or make trusting men harder. I understand and of course my aim is not to push away a guy that will truly appreciate me but I’m frustrated with myself that I keep landing in the same position even when I thin…

I do agree that I struggle with boundaries and I am trying to work on that a lot but I think I sometimes over correct, so I go from one extreme to another. I don’t know how to find a balance in my head I feel if I care about people why do I need to hold back but I see the necessity of holding back a bit now. I have always had a naturally submissive personality, I never understood it as being submissive when I was much younger. I just thought I was a push over but it was never a big personality c…

I have been a lurker on RPW for a very long time but I have seen loads of your comments and just thought I’d finally say that the way you are able to empathise with women who believe they are in less than ideal situations is very admirable, there’s a very hopeful element to it and it says a lot about the kind of person you are! It’s refreshing to see 😊

I don’t think it’s wise to encourage women to lie to their partners. OP did the right thing by being transparent, but if you don’t want to answer a question like this, tell them honestly you’re not comfortable with answering the question but it is never okay to lie to partner about information that may be important to them when making a big decision such a marriage/commitment. It’s immoral. Would you appreciate it if a man lied to your about his finances/financial position before marriage?

I agree with you that people know quickly if someone might be the one. She was honest from the start and he hasn’t made peace with it 10 months in, I sincerely doubt he will miraculously become understanding of it in a few weeks. One thing I admire about men is how unwavering they are when it comes to what they want but it’s crucial for us women to listen to what a man is actually saying to us and not what we think he’s saying. Him telling her he does not know if he sees a future with her is him…

Beg him to forgive you for what exactly? You made mistakes, owned up to them and made efforts to change your life and worldview. You’ve done enough! You should move on, unless you want to stay and wake up everyday proving your worth to him (Note: it will never be enough because he has already decided your past is something he cannot accept and unfortunately you cannot change your past). He has made it clear that he doesn’t see a future with you, that is fair and he is allowed to make that decisi…
